Good point. Reigns does come off as smug and annoying. Maybe he should try that the next time he's heel (if he ever turns heel again). And I should've known you were joking but oh well. Reigns becoming the next John Cena (stale character, basic promos, and all) is just very frustrating and I really hope that doesn't happen.

Reigns turning heel and joining them won't help. He needs character development badly! He's been the same frickin' character ever since he came in with The Shield. And the goofy crap he did (like suffering suckatash on a past episode of Smackdown) is not what I'm talking about. WWE creative need to give me, and many other fans, a reason to like Roman without having to resort to some backstage special on the WWE Network that I don't give two sh*** about! As a matter of fact, I want to see Reigns show more than just "I'm part of a huge Samoan family" and "I'm super badass!" And don't get me wrong, he's actually growing on me. The Last Man Standing match against Big Show was great and entertaining. In fact, that feud could've used at least one other gimmick match since their normal matches were so unbearable to watch. He just needs better writing. Period. That's all. It's almost like the same writers that do Cena's crap (that's if he even has writers) are also doing Reigns' character development. It's boring and doesn't make me want to see him. Actually, I really hope WWE hiring Jimmy Jacobs as a writer will help Reigns and some of other guys that need something different. I'm not saying Jacobs is the answer but its good to see they're getting someone that actually KNOWS how wrestling works. Apologies for using your comment for a rant but I needed to get that off my chest.

Now that Sheamus is heel again it would be awesome if they did a heel stable with him, Barrett, and McIntyre... oops, no, McIntyre is gone. I really wanted to see that happen because they could've been an awesome international heel stable.

The closest one I can think of was at New Years Revolution 2006 where Edge lost to Ric Flair earlier in the night by hitting Flair with his briefcase. Then, of course, later in the night he cashed in on Cena after Cena won the Elimination Chamber match that night. I remember it well because I also remember being pissed off when Edge only had the title for about 2 weeks because Super Cena. Besides all that, I absolutely loved Wrestlemania tonight. A number of my personal favorites won tonight which include Cesaro & Kidd, Bryan and Rollins. Sting vs HHH was really entertaining with the whole DX and nWo run ins but I felt the wrong man won. I hope that means Sting gets a rematch at Summerslam or something.

I figured out right away that "leaked" script was totally fake. It made me laugh though. It's almost on the same level as that big middle finger pic of the Wrestlemania 31 ramp and layout. That Axelmania poster is awesome! I'm honestly surprised that Vince let him keep going with that gimmick for this long until that segment with Snoop Dog and Hogan made me bang me head on the wall!

I figured I'd interject here since the last couple pages is about Steam. What does everyone think of the steam machine coming out later this year? I'm sure everyone can agree the pricing is pretty ridiculous but it sounds like with a range of $480 to $5000 (as seen at this link) it depends on what kind of machine people want. Personally, I think I'll wait until pricing goes down (IF it goes down) and maybe buy one that's used and still in good working condition. I'd love to play steam games on my TV but I have no technological capabilities with that at the moment. Edit: Even though they frustrate me at times, I do love both those games!

Yeah, I agree to this and should've added that to my original comment about the dead crowds. The writing needs to change. Triple H said in the Stone Cold podcast that he'd rather get rid of the third hour of RAW since it's so hard to write the third hour. With this in mind, WWE should go back to the drawing board, go back to the two hour timeslot (which we all know probably won't happen anytime soon), and remember the formula's they used before (no, this isn't an attitude era reference) and remember how they've made certain feuds hot before like, for example, The Shield vs The Brotherhood when the Rhodes won the tag titles and got an insane crowd reaction. It's not like it's dead all the time but you can tell when they're slacking in the creative department with shows like Fastlane or even the Survivor Series that Orton vs Big Show headlined (dare I mention that?) I know I'm meandering with this but I just want WWE to have an awesome product. I think we all want them to have an awesome and fun product right now but it's such a pain in the ass to watch especially with the current announce team. Now I'm going to steal a line from Stone Cold and say that's all I got to say about that. This is an excellent promo! I really hope we get Cody back and he does go after all the Attitude Era guys like he mentioned. That would be so awesome and would make up for his God awful match at Fastlane (I was so mad when I saw the finish live I wanted the ref to be fired!) And don't get me wrong, Cody Rhodes is one of my favorite guys on the WWE roster right now and I hope to God that this means he'll get a big push now that he's not with Goldust anymore. And by the way, it almost seemed like the comments about "being hungry" and "wanting to eat a big fat steak and cutting the fat" was an old school reference that I can't pinpoint. Does anyone know an old school wrestler that might've said that in past promos?

I also agree that Romans hasn't evolved and it was further proof in his match tonight against Bryan that he has major flaws in terms of wrestling ability. Vince doesn't care though, he just sees money in Reigns and that's it. I'm fine with Reigns winning though because I am 100% for the rumored Bryan vs Ziggler match at Mania and I hope they make that happen! Also, what the hell is wrong with WWE crowds lately?! It's been like this for the last year or two now where WWE puts on a PPV in certain cities that are just completely dull until the final two matches. Maybe they should get one of the divas to shoot a smelling salt cannon to wake them up, eh?!

That was just hilarious! I'm surprised WWE didn't jump on him for going on that show and talking dirty. Although, that must've been before they went to the PG rating. I never bought that whole thing either. I think Nikki and Cena started dating way before they said they did. Speaking of Nikki, anyone else think that she's been a good Divas champion lately? She's been performing better and she had a good 10 minute match on Superstars (I can't remember who she fought) recently that was pretty good. I never thought I'd say this at all since I've never really been a huge fan of either of the Bella twins.

This was proven false. Kendra Lust has stated multiple times in interviews such as this one that it was just a rumor mainly because she's such a huge WWE fan. Certain fans just want to believe it's true so they can hate on Cena more.

Well, he's a father now so that probably softened him up. I thought it was classy to do and it's not like it hurts his heel persona, or WWE storylines for that matter, since kayfabe has been dead for a while.

I second this. That whole main event segment was way too long and it was lazy writing. Nobody cared that the Authority was back, either. I also agree with a lot of other guys on here saying that Rollins has been great in his performance and mic work lately. I felt bad for Cesaro messing up his promo and knew that JBL and crew were going to give him crap about it on commentary because they're petty and stupid.

Summerslam last night (or what I have officially dubbed it Smummerslam because it sounds funny :p;)) is a total contender for show of the year for WWE. From top to bottom I found many things I could enjoy from Ziggler winning the IC title, Paige winning the Diva's title, Lesnar dominating Cena, and I even got a little kick out of Nikki's turn on Brie even though I could see it coming a mile away. The only thing that puzzled me was that Cesaro lost to RVD in the pre-show. What the hell has Cesaro done to deserve losing now? I thought he was going to get a good push after winning that Andre Memorial Battle Royal at Mania? WTH?! Anyways, I thoroughly enjoyed Smummerslam and Rollins vs Ambrose was definitely match of the night. Once again: Smummerslam!

<p>Anyone ecstatic that Paige is now the Divas champion? I think with her and Emma on the main roster really bolsters the Divas division. Hopefully, they let Emma and Paige put on another classic like they did on NXT.</p><p> </p><p> Paige has a good look and I believe she could be the one Diva that the division could be centered around. Emma has some great wrestling skill and doesn't hurt that she was trained by Lance Storm. They could totally make them to be like the next Lita and Trish for the division. I'm not saying Paige and Emma could be the new Lita and Trish but I'm sure WWE can utilize them, and they have a great mix of "ingredients," to bring back some legitimacy to the Divas division. Not like AJ wasn't helping already, just another great addition.</p><p> </p><p> I can't say how happy I am that Paige is the new Divas champion. I know she just started on the main roster and hoping it means there are good things to come for her. I just realized after watching Shimmer Volume 53 that Saraya Knight is her mother and looked up about Paige's family. They have put all there energy on getting their kids (like Paige, she has two brothers Zack and Roy) into the mainstream. I also hope Zack does get signed by WWE, he seems to have the tenacity but WWE doesn't like his look and have told him to get bigger, of course. <p>Crimson, maybe you should take a look at WM24 then because that had HBK vs. Flair, a damn good triple threat match (although I'd say the WM20 triple threat is the best) Orton vs Triple H vs. Cena, and of course Edge vs Undertaker. I know this because I've actually watched all three of those matches over and over the past couple years.</p><p> </p><p> That is not a forgettable Mania for me... but like you said, you weren't watching...</p>

<p>Slim J is right about Rock vs Cena. They're the most over workers and even people that don't watch WWE knows who they are. It's not a surprise it won match of the year especially voted by the fans. The vote by the fans is stupid because the general fans don't know good wrestling when they see it. And when they do see it, some of them don't even know why it's so good.</p><p> </p><p> I have nothing against someone being a fan of WWE and watching it once a month or once a year but that doesn't mean they're vote actually means much when they obviously have no idea what a real wrestling match looks like.</p><p> </p><p> Maybe I'm being too opinionated on it, maybe not but that's just my opinion on WWE's stupid App voting.
