  1. Just go to where you'd assign them a gimmick and click the cancel gimmick change button. You won't get a warning they need a gimmick. The reason they show set to debut one is because they where assigned one in the data, if you cancel the change then they won't show up any longer.

I dislike it but ah well what can ya do right</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Have you tried the talk to worker function? You might be able to talk him into coming back for a match. And really in the real world, not everyone is willing to come back for one more match, so it is realistic to not be able to do it with whomever you want.</p>
  3. Any chance you will release the data first? I know you like having everything together but some of us want to relive our childhood <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

I'll re look at them. Also, should some Jap workers be over in the USA for the top 100?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> Might not want to use Jap as a short form of Japanese it is a pretty derogatory word. JPN is the accepted term. I can back up this as well. It seems every show WWE ran in my ROH game had a 99 or 100 match. This was the time period where the product started its slow decline, so it is for sure worth looking into.</p>
  5. Thanks Mil, what happened is just a needless tragedy. I don't know how to wrap my head around it, I barely got out what I did in the thread you started. I'm around if you ever want to chat, be it wrestling or nonwrestling related.
  6. Well you know 2 Cold did have a decent WCW run prior to this and we all know the legendary greatness of Flash Flunk ./sarcasm
  7. Just read the news heartbreaking, with this being Mental Health Awareness month in the states. Just know if any of you are dealing with cyber bullying or any form of mental health illness, you aren't alone and feel free to reach out to me. I'm always around to at least talk. This is just sad in a week of really sad wrestling news this takes the cake. So needless people need to realize that words really can hurt a lot more then anything else and just because you can hide behind a keyboard doesn't mean you have free license to say things that affect others in this way. I hope those who brought this are found out and I really hope someone can stand up and figure out a way to start putting an end to this kind of crap. Thoughts and prayers to her friends and family and I hope there is justice for them and Hana Kimura found some sort of peace.
  8. That works to, it is really just whatever formula you have and plugging in the workers. Just keep in mind your product settings and work within that. Knowing what you want your PPV to look like helps because then you just book backwards from there.
  9. I'd be down as well, I might start watching during work tonight.
  10. Well being sober helps. I usually have a loose idea of where I want to go for the PPV and just book to that. I also have a basic formula that I follow when booking depending on product it may change. Right now playing 2004 ROH I have a monthly four show taping block each an hour long. Each show goes like this. Unimportant vs Recognizable. 10 min opener work the crowd Recognizable/well known vs Recognizable/well known (can be a tag match) 15 min. steal the show Star vs Star 20 min Major star/star vs Major star/star (can be a tag match) 20 min technical masterpiece. I fill in the gaps based on who is going to be challenge whom for the various titles and who I am trying to build in the under card. I can also change it up and do like a 4 way or something like that. For a WCW of WWE style 2 hour show. Unimportant vs Recognizable. 10 min opener work the crowd Angle for major feud Tag match 15 min angle for major feud/main event of the night. Recognizable/well known vs Recognizable/well known 15 min (if WCW this would be the TV title match) Story telling Angle for another feud star vs star (can be tag) 15/20 min Final angle Major star/star vs Major star/star (can be a tag match) 20 min If you keep a formula in mind booking goes quick as you just have to plug workers in and change it up week to week with singles and tags.
  11. So I actually trained with the guys who started HOODSLAM not relevant but just giving myself cool points . As for your question going off of the given name. GHETTOSLAM - Hood and ghetto are essentially the same in this context Hoodwinked - HOODSLAM has a bit of third wall breaking involved in there shows and this would refer to how wrestling is all a work. Championship Battle Destruction - CBD
  12. Well the last part I won't say due to it being a personal preference. Tommy Dreamer and Sandman are a huge part of what is coming as is Raven. Shane Douglas will be the focus and everyone has a different opinion on whether he deserved that or not. Besides that just enjoy the ride.
  13. Pretty awesome idea, love to see how this goes, kind of wish you got 2020 though as you can actually set it up to accept excursion wrestlers with it.
  14. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="mitsukaikira" data-cite="mitsukaikira" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47721" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>the resolution of some of these shots is like 640x480</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> You some of that is going to depend on how they uploaded it, and what they used to make the image in the first place right?</p>
  15. While giving money to Vince is a valid issue. Think of it this way, giving money to Vince allows the wrestlers who work for Vince to have money to get paid from. Even more so right now, sticking it to McMahon or WWE is just screwing over the wrestlers. So a month or two of the network can help make sure they have a revenue stream to pay the workers. Yay positive spin! I started going back and rewatching 96-00 of WWF because I grew up a WCW kid and didn't watch WWF as much back then so I missed a lot.
  16. Continuing my 2004 ROH run, WWE just held Survivor Series and Nicho El Millonario (the original Psicosis) just beat Scott Steiner for the Intercontinental Championship.
  17. I would suggest renaming Psicosis as Psicosis II to help cut down on confusion, it should also ensure the wrong pic isn't being used for II because default he is using on of the original Psicosis' pictures.
  18. So it kind of depends. Barely Legal 1997 was their first PPV but then you miss Foley, Austin, Jericho, Benoit, Guerrero, Psicosis, Mysterio, and The Eliminators. If you don't mind watching the early stages I'd say start at the August 30th 1994 Hardcore TV. This show features the Dreamer vs. Sandman match where Dreamer gets caned and becomes the heart of ECW, Shane Douglas winning and throwing down the NWA title, and the official change from Eastern to Extreme Championship Wrestling. You'll then get to go through and watch the rise of Raven, Cactus Jack's Antihardcore gimmick/Cane Dewey, and Austin being Austin for the first time. Plus the influx of the cruiserweights and other guys mentioned above.
  19. About six months into my ROH 2004 run. I was had Daniels as ROH World Champion for the first six months, but then I was able to bring in Nakumara and he was head and shoulders above everyone else as far as star power goes, so he ended up dethroning Daniels. Steve Corino was the first Pure Champion only recently losing it to Bryan Danielson. The Briscoe's have been tag champs from the beginning and I haven't really found anyone to take the belts. In other news Russo passed away suddenly and Ric Flair won the World Heavyweight Championship on Raw.
  20. 21. I actually started one when the demo dropped you can find it <a href="http://greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=544952" rel="external nofollow">here</a>
  22. Sorry man totally missed it! Mods feel free to delete this.
  23. Another thread we normally have that I've always enjoyed, feel free to post random new stories/events from your game.
  24. Playing ROH in the 2004 mod, and a few months in Vince Russo passed away. Wonder how that will affect TNA going forward?
  25. <p>Raven - ECW/WCW Cult Leader</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> William Regal - High Class British Snob</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Kane - Unstoppable Monster</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Undertaker - Evil Incarnate (Ministry pre-McMahon)</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Owen Hart - Bitter younger sibling</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> To name a few, my favorite part of the first run of Goldust aside form the backlot brawl with Piper, was when they asked him if he was gay during his feud with Lawler and he just straight panned a no and started a brawl with Lawler. Gave another dimension to his gimmick showing you could be straight and still act like he did.</p>
