  1. J.K. Stallings, one of the most successful businessmen on the planet (Owns a number of successful online business and websites, owns an American Football team, invested in private space tech, etc.) comes back to the wrestling world as a Brilliant Eccentric, trying to prove himself in the only realm he has ever failed. He creates a company in Seattle, Washington, where he settled after no longer needing to be in Silicon Valley day in and day out. He states its a promotion that is used to showcase great young talent, promote indy darlings that he thinks should be picked up by a major promotion, and to give veterans one last hurrah. However, in this hiring spree, he rubs a lot of people the wrong way, after wrestlers choose to pick his company over theirs on conflicting show dates. Still, Stallings will not back down, despite the question of whether his contribution helps wrestlers and wrestling as an industry. At this point you can either be an ultra-MAW style company, or make Stallings dream come true and become the best promotion in the world. I think the promotion would be No-Style, since Stallings always seemed like he liked variety, but I think a number of products would work. With his money, you'd be able to get a performance center and iBroadcast so it's basically an excuse to have a bloated roster and play the game where you try to get as many guys as good as you can.
  2. Sorry if this is the wrong place for this, but is anybody planning on making an out of shape Brendan Idol? It's odd to read about his fall, and then see the babyfaced young render. Also, these renders are really great out of the gate. Good job! And thanks, they really help flesh out the characters.
  3. I think I have my head wrapped around it, but I want to make sure this is correct. I'm making a company that is basically a MAW+ promotion, with young talent with potential, indie superstars that for whatever reason hasn't been snatched up yet, 2nd chances for some failures (Looking at you Remmy Skye) and close to retirement veterans who get a final payday before retirement. My question is contracts. Would these be the best ways to give contracts? Very young workers who would be sent to developmental get written, non-iron clad contracts (so they can be poached by better promotions, but be sent to developmental) Wrestlers I plan on using a lot get written, non-ironclad contracts (So they can get poached as above) Wrestlers I might not use as much get handshake per show deals (so they can work with other promotions) Veterans get a mix of handshake and written contracts. In past games I would just do short contracts, but this would work to allow companies to hire my workers whenever, correct? Do I have to do written contracts to get notice to close storylines? This also means if a bigger promotion takes a handshake worker, they will leave immediately? Is this the best way to go about this? Thanks.
  4. Are there still random home areas for some workers? If I wanted to hire people from, let's say, Tri-State only would starting a new game give a different pool of talent located there?
  5. Whenever I run into that situation I hire a bunch of "lackeys" for my main heel (in SWF ususally Eric Eisen, but in my current SWF save he jumped ship,) that have good basics/psych. SWF is sometimes harder with the Risque settings, but you can get Bryan Holmes, Thrill Seeker, Nicolas Lopez, I think Air Attack Weasel and Clark Alexander. You could also do "outsider" open challenges on the weekly shows if you don't want to go on a hiring spree, where you take on the best of other companies and the indies (Nicolas Lopez starts as the COTT champion, for example on one appearance deals.) Another thought is to simply put Remo in post show battle royals. It fits fiction (sometimes companies do post show matches to send the crowd home happy and entice people to buy tickets.) The mechanics of battle royals are a bit gimmicky when it comes to gaining skills, but if you don't mind that it's probably the best way as it gives the most chances, but it also might affect momentum of other workers so keep that in mind.

  7. Is there a way to shut off regens in the default database? If so, would you recommend earlier worker generation than 2026?
  8. I've never actually tried it, but if you just replace the number graphics with a black square you won't see attributes, and then you can judge things by performance and have the search function in the worker page be general scouting (I'm looking for...) This would replace those numbers everywhere so things like popularity and such would also be blank so it's a messy solution, but one I'd try. It's pretty late in development, but I would actually love if there was an option for complete obfuscation with the new scouting system, allowing you to only use the search tools and grades and note improvements after matches to tell how skilled poeple are.

Does anyone know how to lower the percentage of randomly-generated workers that are masked? I have maybe 1200 free pics and often set new work generation to Very High, at least for a period of time. Maybe 200 of the free pics are masked, but it sometimes seems like half of the randomly-generated workers are masked. How can I tweak that?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I don't know if this is what he said, but couldn't you just delete those photos from the people folder? It picks photos from that photo for the generated workers, I think.</p>
  10. <p>Is there a point (beside realism or fairness) of increasing match danger/intensity beyond the minimum?</p><p> </p><p> Specifically, my product should have 40%-60% match danger. Is there a benefit to having it at 60 to offset the added injury risk?</p><p> </p><p> Thanks!</p>
  11. Has anybody been able to get Marc Dubois to improve his behavior? IIRC, a couple of times I've gotten him off drugs when I first got the game, but every game I bring him in, he's such a pain that I end up getting rid of him.
  12. Hey, I tried searching, and maybe there is no answer, but I figured I'd ask anyway: Kirk Jameson and Mainstream Hernandez have their tag title experience erased. When these things happen, what the extent of the retcon? Did they never tag, or just not enough to warrant putting experience in (I don't recall ever seeing, for example, an established tag team with 7 experience.) Is there any way to tell or is it one of those things that you just have to fill in the blanks yourself?
  13. Odd request: Subject: Roger Cage (and/or any other high entertainment skills worker who you think would work for a regional company in the USA and could fit the part) Changes: Make him look like Alton Brown (specifically Iron Chef Moderator, but he usually looks the same all the time). Usually wears bowtie, glasses, but doesn't have to, as long as he looks like he could host Iron Chef America. Thanks in advance. Edit: I just realized that you could probably just add J.K. Stallings clothes and accessories to Roger Cage.
