I can just about accept it since Drew did dominate for most of the match and looks strong in defeat. I would rather have seen him go over though.</p>

What do you make of it?</p>
  4. Hope Dash Wilder doesn't get into too much trouble. But he did suckerpunch a restrained, defenseless man, even though it was fully deserved...

Think it was actually Teddy Hart, not Dash.

Best Wrestlemania in years, good booking other than Reigns beating McIntyre which was utter BS.

I really hated Cena burying Elias. Who does that help? And being meta and self-aware about it doesn't make it better.

Apparently in their book, Rock doesn't count because they put him with the Samoan family, and Mark Henry and Booker T won the World Heavyweight title, not the WWE title (or maybe the other way around?) so Kofi is the "first" black champion in this lineage.

I think that's right. Mark Henry and Booker only won the WHC, not the proper WWE championship with all the history and lineage. Rock is obviously half black / half Samoan, so I guess Kofi is the first fully black world champion. Which is a cool thing. It's actually amazing that it's taken til 2019 for that.

  5. Since only a couple want to talk, here is scumminess: Candidate numero Uno

Fluff, good joke about last game, but still fluff.

More fluff... with a defence of Emark.

After I point out the defence he says this, and then adds .... more fluff.

Relax, DJ. I'm never any good on Day 1. It takes me a while to properly invest in a game and find my stride. Forgive my banter, I'll try harder.

That's a lot of fluff. And yeah, his only posts so far. It reads a bit like pocketing too, defend the current lynch target so when he flips town The Two winds up looking like town.

Giving me way too much credit here. I don't plan ahead much.

It still feels weird to me that a Reventant (person who has returned, especially supposedly from the dead) is actually dead on night one. I have no reason to doubt it, but it still irks me, you know?

Revenant basically means zombie. You can (re)kill zombies.

OH. You're not DJ, I genuinely thought he and I were just having a back and forth.

    Sorry to disappoint.

  6. Although I guess I shouldn't assume the Space Marshall is town. Could be an SK who "apprehends" rather than kills. But seems too convenient that it was a wanted criminal who was caught.

Yeah, that reads to me like a mini-game being (partly?) completed on N1.

Personally, I have a huge problem with this "Space Marshall is a SK" theory. Maybe it's just me, but the term space marshall makes me think of air marshalls, which are cops. You know, good guys. I think the marshall is actually our town vig, and tbp was actually the SK but was killed by the scum before doing any killing.

I agree with this. Doesn't sound like TBP was good for us at all. I feel bad for Ray if that's his SK down on the first night. Sucks for the mod when that happens...

  10. <p>It'll live or die by a TV deal. The inability to get on TV is what made GFW dead on arrival, and we've all seen how much Impact have struggled to obtain and keep a TV deal over the last 7 or 8 years.</p><p> </p><p>

Of course the biggest ace they have to play is All In. The fact that they can turn to any network and demonstrate that with no TV, on reputation alone, these guys filled a 10k seat arena and put on the biggest non-WWE wrestling show in decades should impress and interest the suits.</p><p> </p><p>

The fact that their billionaire is already connected in media and sports should help out too.</p><p> </p><p>

This could really turn into something special.</p>

  11. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="ShadowedFlames" data-cite="ShadowedFlames" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46026" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>This was the first night since N1 where things actually worked somewhat in the way we wanted them to.<p> </p><p> We had the second kill open but I was worried of losing it immediately if Two was seen out after claiming he didn’t leave.</p><p> </p><p> In hindsight I might have gone for a more aggressive play but that style put us so far behind to start. This was probably what we’d have done 99% of the time.</p></div></blockquote><p> When you really look at it, not much of it was our fault. BlueStar got a hard on for blocking Cappy, BHK got lucky catching Phoenix, MLT got lucky killing WC, Cappy killed himself because he's an idiot, Anti getting caught was inevitable. Only thing we could have done different was pick better kill targets, but you couldn't anticipate where the protections and jailers would be. </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="theoutlaw321" data-cite="theoutlaw321" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46026" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>You read E-ville? <img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div></blockquote><p> Can't say I have. Similar situation?</p>
  12. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="theoutlaw321" data-cite="theoutlaw321" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46026" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>There were triggers. I failed. </p><p> </p><p> I was just puzzled by having the Mafia alignment from the start. Even with all those conditions I would have expected to start Indy and be recruitable rather than be Mafia but not know who else was on my team. It's really hard to try to play scum when you can't see the big picture.</p><p> </p><p> Not criticising, just seemed an odd choice. </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="theoutlaw321" data-cite="theoutlaw321" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46026" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Well Astil was asked to take him. Just saying...</div></blockquote><p> I choose to blame him anyway. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/cool.png.f00d2562b2c1d873a09323753efdb041.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  13. <p>So, why was I only allowed into the Mafia club house at that point? What changed? Why wasn't I in from the start? Why didn't they know I existed, even if we couldn't talk?</p><p> </p><p>

Basically, all the questions you couldn't answer at the time. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

  14. <p>Well done, Archer! You had me convinced it wasn't you, very well played. Team Red may have fallen apart, but I'm glad the Town were still defeated. Death to Townies.</p><p> </p><p>

So Astil's odd role title was the big clue. It does feel like the town got their priorities wrong most of the game. None of us figured out the poisoned null voters until the very end when it was already too late. </p><p> </p><p>

That's a really strong design for the SK, a delayed kill, largely immune to protection and shows up Town on investigation. That's a tremendous role, I'm jealous.</p><p> </p><p>

I agree with Derek, it's bizarre that MLT never mentioned what had happened to her. </p><p> </p><p>

Nothing went right for the Mafia this game. We lost two members to sheer bad luck and town vigilante kills, there were so many blockers our kills kept failing, our hitman was a high profile player who was inevitably caught in the act, and then Cappy surrendered for utterly no reason. FML.</p>

  15. <p>Weirdo living alone on the edge of town. </p><p>

That's me being interviewed last night.</p><p>

    No night ability. </p><p>

Random voter, essentially. Can count as zero, one, or two. I have no way to know which. Depends how sane I sound to people on any given day. Decided randomly as far as I understand. </p><p>

Tried to drop some hints about having a voting ability early on, but I'm no good at hinting. </p><p> </p><p>

Not a lot else to give you. </p><p> </p><p>

    Any questions?</p>
