  5. Don't usually enjoy match write-ups in general but the Chord/Garner match was great. Really got over the action well I thought.
  6. <p>I think the idea was last night to plant that frustration and the idea no-one will help and hopefully when somebody does finally stand up it will be a big thing. This week's story showed the effectiveness of Triple H's intimidation tactics, without that this week you haven't establish just how strong the 'regime' is. Now should somebody stand up in subsequent weeks it will seem bigger I think. If it would've happened this week I think it could have undermined the power they're building up of Triple H (that needs to be kept strong as the 'oppressor') where as if it comes in a week or two they've stood up to something that appears much solider having been shown to be strong for a few weeks. This weeks is building it up, it showed how much Big Show wanted to help but couldn't <span style="font-size:8px;">(iron clad contract aside)</span> and how much people want to speak out but can't, which in turn will make more of an impact when somebody finally decided enough is enough and stands up to them. I hope.</p><p> </p><p> Either way to me this is just about building up the power of the heels, making them look strong so that the eventually rebellion has more impact and seems like a big thing rather than giving the impression of "HHH and Orton weren't that tough after all, only took a few guys to stand up to them". They all love the WWE so don't want to lose their jobs, but eventually it will get too much. As long as there is a pay off eventually I wouldn't worry just yet, they're just doing something long-term rather so just doing it all in one week as I see it. The focus is on Bryan at the moment, Ziggler/Big Show or whoever will get their shine eventually I'm sure, or at least that's how it seems to be shaping up.</p>

  8. It wasn't really anti-The Shield's gimmick IMO. Their gimmick is of a faction who will do "bad" actions yet, justify it under the guise of "justice". Nothing they have ever done has actually been just, only that they "justified" their help of CM Punk. This is a different situation as the WWE don't really care for the justification but it could easily be slanted that The Shield are protecting the WWE and WWE Championship. I think this is a good position for them, since it can actually build somewhere with them - whether into meaningful feud or possibly build to a face turn by some or all the members. No point doing it straight away IMO.
  9. Right decision to do it tonight heel authority doesn't excite me too much but to take it away straight away just makes me back bryan more <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

  11. I also loved the bit with Bryan saying I just want it once, it really punctuated the idea that he's worked so hard for so long and whatever and all he wants is one shot.

  13. <p>Most of it was also exactly the same as the Rampage one too. I think it's just a case of putting them next to Angle (and Ray in this case) to reaffirm that they're positioned at the top of the card to the viewer. Make them seem important I suppose</p><p> </p><p> Tara's gone. 14. Too many to mention, so I'll just say - I love this thread.
  15. Crazy to look and see the past 30 years of wrestling is available in mods, as well as a few complete different universes to play in <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

  21. <p>I think when people are hating Cena it's the character they are hating though. I know if I was criticising him, I'd be talking about the promo. That said it does make people chanting boring during one of his better recent promos even more stupid. It just seemed like they'd seen other people do it weeks ago, so they did it.</p><p> </p><p> I thought they did a great job Monday with Bryan's promo cutting into Cena which got me completely behind him. And then Cena's promo without saying "Bryan lied" gave his side. I thought it was a great way of, instead of them having opposing opinions, showing the two sides of the coins with both of them having good justifications of both sides (e.g the "you'll never work again" thing being show both ways and the "you don't love wrestling"/"you don't love WWE") it did a great job of having them both make good point, while appealing to different parts of the audience. Two quality promos.</p><p> </p><p> I also find whatever Vince does golden. I love how they're playing on the Vince doesn't rate Bryan stuff on TV. It seems like they're working the "smarks" more than ever at the moment with rumours going round. Another example the Triple H bit where he said "I'm not letting Vince sink this ship", works with general concensus of the internet. Seems they're appealing to the growing social media/online presence. Not necessarily playing to them but they're working with the (mis)conception people have and I think it seems a good way to blur the lines and actually get people investing in the product. This Bryan stuff certainly is one of few times I feel fully invested in something and I'm glad they've done it after a decent title run. People have wanted him to drop the title to Ryback and then Henry, but I'm glad they've give him a run of meaning so that should he drop it to Bryan it means a lot more.</p>

  23. Tried and failed myself so could someone please make Findlay O'Farraday more menacing looking. Maybe a big beard and angrier eyebrows (if possible) or anything that make him look tougher/scarier would be good <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

  25. Sorry if I've missed this but I was wondering about WWE being National. I get the reason for this but from a gameplay point doesn't being National limit the WWE in some ways, such as signing workers unavailable in their areas and only being able to get 2 TV shows (if you start with 2 or less). Not sure I have a question but it seems like WWE should be international with those things in mind. Or am I wrong? <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
