Thanks for reminding me about Bellator I completly forgot about it coming on this weekend. Didn't know about the M-1 show I will give a try also. I am going to order the It's Showtime show for my first time with them. Watched some of the fights they have put on on youtube and am really looking forward to their show the most this weekend.

It was a great show but I do feel like Kampman was robbed. I also think he was robbed in his fight with Shields. I wonder if this is the end of Joe Stevenson's run in UFC with his 3rd straight loss. I could see them giving him one more fight cause he usually puts on good fights but who knows. I am just hoping that Chris Lytle doesn't retire as he is a great fighter to watch. Riki Fukuda will be getting paid a win bonus and be treated as if he had won the fight going forward. I still can't believe the judges gave Ring the nod. I read that Dana White thinks the Penn won the fight (first two rounds to Penn and only a 10-9 3rd). Wonder if this is just hate for Fitch or because he would rather Penn on top for his draw power.

The thing I don't like about GSP going up and vacating the title is w/e wins it next is only getting it cause GSP left the div. To bad Penn didn't have the heart to go a long with his natual talent. Scarry to think how good he could of been if he had his heart into it the whole time. Kinda of like Allen Iverson (baskeball player), great in their own rights but could of been so much more.

Seems to me you would want to get in the cage as much as possible to get that money. So unless you are already rich it would prob. fall on the matchmakers end on why they don't fight more. It seems like if you really wanted to get back into the UFC you would atleast make weight for your fights while trying to rebuild your image. Paul Daley must think otherwise as he missed weight for his fight for the Deep welterweight title. Fight will go on as a non-title bout and he will prob. be docked 10% of his purse. Pearson needs to bounce back strong after his first UFC loss. Gustafsson over Te Huna. Fukuda over Ring via ko/tko. If you haven't seen Fukuda's fight with Sakurai from deep impact 49 treat yourself to a brutal, brutal fight on youtube Perosh over Blackledge. Zhang over Reindhardt. Tuchscherer over Hunt via sub. This is the only fight that wont be shown in one form or another, all other fights are either on Facebook, Ion, or ofcourse ppv.

I am kind of torn on how I feel about Kenny Florian dropping down to 145. I really, really wanted to see him make another run at the 155 strap and hopefully get it this time. It almost feels like he has given up on it for a quicker shot at a title. But I just don't see him as a quiter tbh. Wonder if he was asked to drop down by White so Aldo could have a big name to defend his title against. I dunno. Maybe I am just to much of a fan of his and maybe he isn't quite as good as I have him built up in my head. I think he can take out Aldo but I would rather see him conquer the Mtn of 155 first. Just feels like he is leaving unfinished bussiness there. So what do you guys think about the drop? And how do you think he will fair at that weight.

I have no problem with Falcao playing it safe in the third round. It is like in any other sport when you have a lead you sit on it and run out the clock. Why risk getting knocked out just to please the crowd when you can coast and win. Goal number one is winning. If anything it is Harris's place to push for the win and go all out. Loved how violent Falcao was during that fight. Man the Hughes fight was a major letdown for me but oh well. He looked like he was ready to hang up the gloves after that loss. I love machidas five seconds of fighting he did there, was sooooooo exciting. Jackson really does need to start mixing it up though cause I don't see him doing much with just boxing. Taker being the company man he is prob still holds ill will towards Brock after the way he screwed over the wwe. Dana said we will see how dedicated Brock is by what he does next. Big fights on Bellator tonight...actually its on now. But my post has to do with the Olympics. Just read something about Dana White talking about MMA as a olympic sport and how he wants it to happen. But if it was it seemed he would not want his fighters fighting in it against other fighters in orgs like Strikeforce and such. Unless he would never intend for his big name fighters to be in it? dunno how all that would work.

How is it not a moral issue when it is clearly against the rules? Just because you think everyone does them doesn't make it right. There is a risk to using roids even if you are a grown man. And on top of that it puts pressure on younger fighters and on kids to do them. I guess its ok to tell a 18 yr old fighter not to use them but let the 28 yr old have the advantage of them when they fight? I have more respect for a fighter who goes out and does it the right way. You are not the true winner if you take short cuts and cheat. That way of thinking of anything to win, anything for the big bucks ruins the competitive spirit of sports. Whatever happend to having pride. When did values of honesty and integrity get so low? People trying to justify and codone cheating needs to reevaluate your own morals and standards.
