But overall I disagree with changing the rules of mma. I enjoy both styles for what they are.

Finally got to see Bellator last night at 1 am. Well more like 1:20 am cause football ran over and they just cut into the show then. All I missed was the first fight but go to see the decisison. Anyway the three fights I saw were pretty good. The Makovsky v. Mamils had some excitment there at the end. Warren v. Soto was just amazing. How did Warren not fall from those shots he was takeing is beyond me. I wonder if Soto will ever get ****y and drop his hands like that again. Warren plans on leaving MMA next year for a run at the Olympics. The Gomez v. Red fight was a snooze fest that got a little interesting at the end. What is up with Gomez's nickname "useless"?

Well I have to wait till one a.m. Monday morning till they show the replay. This would be a good show for ESPN to pick up imo.

Man they didn't show Bellator here because they showed some football game instead Oh and the kicker? Not showing it as a replay tonight, instead showing the same game again.

The strikeforce event looked almost empty. Did lashed have to cut weight for the fight? I forgot what be weighed in at. That dude was gassed. Sucks Mo and army guy lost, oh well.

I would like to know if he is aiming for the lhw title. And if so why take this fight that would do him no good in the title picture and where a loss would be a huge setback. What really motivates him for this fight which doesn't really seem a real challenge for him. Any cool manley stories from the set of the movie? Did they have any challenges they competed in for fun like arm wrestling or w/e.

Tell me if my logic is flawed but woudln't GSP pretty much take Silva down at will and grind out a decision? Or am I wrong in thinking GSP's takedown skills are as good or better then sonnen? I def. don't see Silva pulling out a sub like that one GSP. If I was a betting man I would have to put my money on GSP. He is a very smart fighter and very careful. The Brock vs Cain vs Santos fights have me very excited. I has big time on the Santos bandwagon until the Roy fight exposed him some. I still think he will put it together but his time isn't now imo. I am now leaning towards Cain winning out here even though I will be pulling for "The next Big Thing". I don't think anyone will ever question Roy Nelsons chin UFC 118 looks like it will end the streak of good cards for them. Only fight I am looking forward too is Florian vs Maynard. Even if Maynard is one of the most boring fighters there is. I didn't care for Edgar/Penn 1 but would like Penn to win so Florian can win the belt from him. Don't want the cloud of "oh he only won the title cause Penn didn't have it" crap. The Couture vs tony is a joke for a co-main event. Nothing good can come from that fight as it proves nothing. Guess I don't mind seeing Diaz getting knocked out by the Hand Grenade. It just looks like a really weak card after the stacked 117 where even the undercard was stacked. Don't know if anyone here watches Around the horn or PTI but man every time anything MMA comes up they bury it. Other then the host of ATH that is. And mainly he is using hype to make up for his lack of chance against Silva. The fights and fighters you mentioned were exciting on their own and the hype just added to it. In this it is so lopsided it only has hype. Silva doesn't need to talk trash cause his skills speak for him while sonen only has his mouth really. Basicly what I am saying just because he has talked all this trash it doesn't get me excited as I view him being greatley outmatched. I know there is a chance he could win. But the only way I can see it is if he gets lucky with a punch or lay and pray. I really don't understand the appeal of sonens antics. If this is what it takes to make a fight interesting then you must be looking at a bad fight about to happen. This isn't pro wrestling, I don't need theatrics to get me excited to see a fight. All I need is two skilled fighters going in to see who the better man is. If only there could be more classy and respectfull fighters like my man K-flo.

Man has anyone else seen the video of Roger Huerta beating down some thug that decked a woman in the street? I know he will prob be charged and sued for it but if there was any real justice he wouldn't.

Seems White has denied that a deal has been signed yet. We all know it is just a matter of time though. FEG has declared WAR on UFC. Anything that brings me more K1 is a great thing. I really hope they can do it and thier World Cup of MMA comes to life. Another dissapointment from strikeforce. Middleweight tourny has been scraped and will just have the so called two top contenders go at it. They also have lined up another can for Lashley and are trying to work out a ppv with Lashley vs Batista as the main event. Man I wouldn't even waste my ratio on dling that. And fedor is still ducking Overeem. You can say m1 runs his life and blah blah blah but unless this man is a total retard I find it hard to believe he has no idea what is going on. I mean come on put down the bible and pick up a real book for once. I also find it humorous Aoki thinks he deserves a rematch right now with Melendez. Lets hope strikeforce can get one thing right and make the Melendez vs Alvarez fight happen. /rant

I think Hardy vs Condit should be the main event. I actually expect fireworks from this fight. Bisping should handle Akiyama with ease. Don't really see how this fight helps Bispings title run. Hathaway/Kim is the only other fight that I am looking forward too. So yeah I would say overall you are getting a pretty weak card.

There is talks about Fedor or I should say M1 not wanting to have the champion clause if he is to fight Allstar Ubereem for the title. M1 wants a rematch with ver-Doom but strikeforce wants the title fight to keep Fedor tied up with the company if he wins and not worry about him being a free agent and singing elsewhere if he loses. They def. don't want him winning a rematch with Dr.Doom and leaving. And all this long paragraph is leading up to my question. Where is it that M1 is wanting him to go? Why are they afraid of him getting stuck fighting for strikeforce? I thought UFC was out of the picture now and I thought he was making more money here then he could with FEG's companies, which strikeforce has an open relationship with anyway. Anyone have light to shed on this?

I have to say, if I was giving out the bonuses Lytle would of gotten sub of the night. It was very slick how he got it in. Lesnars was pretty easy for him cause Carwin was gassed and was no real defense left in him. I know the Brock fight was higher profile and will be talked about years down the road but that isn't what the reward is for that I know of. Just rewatched the Brock fight and on second viewing I have to say that was pretty nice sub too. I won't say it is a tragedy that he got the sub of the night but I still believe Lytle was more unique and just edged it out. Either way we were in for some great treats as that was a hell of a show. For all the extra buys the show gets for the Lesnar fight, if that showing from top to bottom doesn't draw in the new fans to stick around and fall in love with the sport then nothing will.

Got a question for you people. Have any of you played the MMA ProFighter game on facebook? If so is it worth creating facebook account just to play? Saw it on your websites banner Brash and the game looks fun but I would like some opinions on it before I start messing with facebook. It would literally be the only reason I would make an account . @Brash You gave your top six but what about your 7-10 spots. Very curious to see yours. I see you opinion as pro. Where mine is just as a casual fan. And damn you if your not making me open my eyes about Fedor the man. I can see my main dislikes are mostley from his surroundings and the evil m1. Hard to hate a man who just wants to make sure his family is cared for. But I still feel like he isn't giving it all. Lets see if this loss re-lit that fire he had.

If fedor isn't in it for the money then why is such a honest and religious man in bed with the likes of m1? Reason I put Reem over Fedor is just cause I think Reem is really hitting his stride now in mma while I see Fedor on the downslide. I would like to see them fight for sure. But it looks like we have to wait for either the rematch to happen or for Werdum/Reem title match. That and like I said I am biased To me Dos Santos has had more quality fighters under his belt. It is hard for me to say Cain beat the real Nog ya know. Junior also has a Werdum scalp But yeah I can see 2-3 going either way till they fight each other or the champ. Who else would you put at ten? Do you think Big foot or Nelson would beat Barnett? I dunno I am def no expert and rankings are very subjective so who did I over look for the spot?
