  1. It's better if you pronounce Dishonored with a Sean Connery voice and read it as Dish-Onnored. In all seriousness though, I picked up the game for I think $25 in the fall or towards the end of 2012, and as someone who absolutely is terrible at FPS games on consoles, I loved it. It was definitely worth every penny, although I was upset that 4 of the 10 missions or whatever took place in the same area. Granted, the area was quite large, but after the first mission I just really had my hopes up that every mission would be in a very large unique area like that. That was my biggest complaint with the game. I played it in a stealth manner most of the time also. I feel that was kind of how it was designed to be played although you could go other routes.
  2. So I'm definitely enjoying the original shows from the WWE Network. Legends House is more entertaining than I expected, and Wrestlemania Rewind I just think every episode is fantastic. I was particularly thrilled that the most recent episode was Mayweather vs Big Show. It's a match that I think is very very underrated overall, even listing it in my person top 10 for WM matches a while back. I will admit that in that list, I did want to include a celeb involvement type match, but even if I didn't want to do that part, I still think the match holds up very well...both guys really knew the roles they were playing in the match.
  3. Triple H just tweeted "Saddened to announce the passing of the Ultimate Warrior. Icon and friend. My sympathy to his wife Dana and his daughters" https://twitter.com/TripleH for those of you who want to see it yourself. Holy crap...man I'm bummed.
  4. I'll echo those statements about RAW being absolutely awesome. I think a lot of things in WWE are pointing up right now.
  5. I suppose instead of responding to other peoples opinions about last night, I'll just do my own quick thoughts on Mania Preshow- Good match and good break up of The Real Americans after. The match did its job and a story advanced, so all solid. Opening segment- While it was awesome for those three guys, I think it went on a bit long. Goodness gracious, it took us just 25 minutes to get to the promo for Bryan vs Triple H. Also, as cool of a moment as it was, it would have been way cooler to get Warrior in the ring too or something. Just imagine if Warrior even came out in street clothes with face paint and booking to the ring at a million miles an hour. Man that would have been awesome, but as it stands, with SCSA, Rock and Hogan we've had a good chunk of moments with 2 of them in the ring before at Mania so while cool, probably didn't need 25 minutes. Bryan vs Triple H- Goodness I loved Stephs managing skills. I think as a manager she is really under utilized sometimes. I loved how she taunted Bryan, "You mess with the bull you get the horns! You know what I'm saying!?" Great heel work on her part antagonizing him while he was down. Outlaws and Kane vs The Shield- Man this match went full speed but I think it worked after the bit more slower technical opening match. Got the crowd fired up a bit and and made The Shield look pretty strong and unified which is good since I think all of them will have a good future after The Shield. Also loved The Shields hound masks they wore to the ring also. Andre Battle Royale-Once about half the people were eliminated it got better as it was easier to follow. For a battle royale though it was generally solid. Sheamus just laying in to Fandango was awesome as was Cesaros big power moment over Show at the end. Not like nobody has ever picked up Show before, but I don't think anyone has made it look quite that easy, especially to eliminate the big guy. John Cena vs Bray Wyatt- Cena's faces were comical, but the match itself was pretty decent. Personally though, I think Cena really brought the match down by doing his best Jim Carey impressions a couple times. If he could have just snapped and did a couple vicious assaults with out the faces the match would have been a lot better. Darn Cena being super corny! Lesnar vs Undertaker- I already said the match felt like it was in the final phase the whole time, and that could be because Undertaker suffered a concussion. (Providing thats not a work?) If that is the case, I feel like I can't be as harsh on it because I'm willing to bet Taker was supposed to be the one directing it, and if Lesnar had to take over, that's probably why some points felt awkward, like the Hells Gate, followed by Hells Gate...counted the same way both times. The finish was good though, unexpected and while Brock might not be my favorite person to break it, I have a hard time looking at the roster and seeing someone else who should have broke it last night or possibly even next year. There are a couple people who possibly could, but you might have a hard time justifying an unproven Reigns or Bray Wyatt, who while hot right now, we don't know his lasting appeal either. Say what you want about Brock taking it, it'll be a classic Mania moment, even if I do feel like I get punched in the childhood everytime I see it. I set a picture of a dejected Undertaker in the ring with the 21-1 graphic in the background for my phone wallpaper. It hurts. Vickies UBER DIVA BRAWL- Started as an complete mess but after the Bellas double dive through the ropes the match got a lot better. Once it moved to a spot to spot affair, the match I thought got pretty good and everyone hit their spots at the right time. I think AJ probably should have given up the title, but it's not like im overly invested in any of the other divas to care that they didn't win it either. Orton vs Batista vs Bryan I think the crowd was still a bit shell shocked and stunned from the whole Taker match, but this was a still a good match. I liked the call back to crooked ref when HHH and Steph ran in, and think the match was generally laid out well. Orton earned a bit of respect in his toughness in my book after that terrible landing on the monitor. Good match overall, and a nice clear end game victory for Bryan. It's what he needed, its what a lot of the fans wanted so it worked. Another really good Mania moment to close the show. Overall, reflecting back I think it is definitely a strong Wrestlemania overall, and if Taker had been able to be the director in his match, I think it probably would have been a bit smoother but overall it was a really enjoyable Mania from top to bottom I think.
  6. I'm not so much upset at The Streak hitting its end, it was just the match wasn't all that great compared to more recent Taker matches. The whole pace of the match felt like it was in the final phase with it being slow and just big move followed by big move. Maybe though, the match was just a bit of a disappointment since Taker and Lesnar doesn't stand the chance to compare to something like Taker vs Punk, HBK, or Triple H like we've had for years. I'm willing to give it time and see how things play out from here though.
  7. <p>Okay, I got lucky and Dark Souls 2 did draw me in, and I'm definitely hooked now.</p><p> </p><p> That being said, picked up WWE 2k14 the other day as a game to kinda take a break from the seriousness of Dark Souls with. I told myself I wasn't going to buy it after WWE 13's disappoints were at times just too much for me, but i've gotten over it. I think the game works well as a game I play in breaks, but shouldn't be my main go to game. Still has a lot of of the problems from last year and I don't find the 30 Years of Wrestlemania as fun as the Attitude Era stuff. Also, I played 2 online matches and received terrible gamers in both and terrible lag in both, quickly souring me there. That being said, what do you hope they do next time for a story type mode? I think it would be cool if they looked over to the other company and tried to do a story mode based on WCW or maybe even just the NWO time period but used branching story arcs like No Mercy did so you could have multiple plays through the story. After writing that out, yeah, that would be awesome.</p>
  8. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Rickymex" data-cite="Rickymex" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="25169" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>The weirdest part is the outfits. I just can't imagine any of them changing their looks for tights.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I actually said this a while back. It got glossed over but yeah, part of their success is definitely their look. They stand out with an awesome look. If everyone just goes back to tights they'll be just another face which would be absolutely terrible.</p><p> </p><p> Glad to see Big Show getting pushed as the favorite for the battle royal. As tired as I can get of the guy being pushed as a monster and always coming up short I think the guy deserves a good Wrestlemania moment, seeing as he is 4-9 at Mania, with his only singles win coming vs Cody Rhodes and the rest being throw away tag matches. Let Show win it. The guy deserves something good and nice for as long as he has been around.</p>
  9. <p>So I was watching WM Rewind on The Network tonight featuring Bret Hart's matches from Wrestlemania 10. The thing that struck me most is how much I wish WWE would host more big event PPV's in Madison Square Garden. I think it always looks awesome when they use the small entrance doors area, instead of building a full on set, which they have done a couple times in the Garden. It just feels intimate and makes the event feel different and special when they use the small doors...I want it back!</p><p> </p><p> If you don't know what I'm talking about...</p><p> </p><div class="ipsEmbeddedVideo"><div><iframe width="200" height="113" src="https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/y-XPU4uz8BM?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" title="John Cena Returns To Royal Rumble 2008 [HD]"></iframe></div></div>
  10. <p>I've been playing some Dark Souls 2 over the past week. Haven't got big in to it yet like I did the first, but I'm hoping that changes soon. It really isn't any fault of the game, I just think its me not being as wow'd as I was when I picked up the first and got my taste of its fair but harsh gameplay.</p><p> </p><p> Really want to pick up Kerbal Space Program but am actually looking forward to Mercenary Kings the most. Currently in Early Access but full release hits on Tuesday. Very very excited.</p>

Nice.</p>
  12. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="The Final Countdown" data-cite="The Final Countdown" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="25169" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I agree that it won't kill him, but the two situations aren't equal. By 1999, Undertaker was already firmly entrenched as a main eventer, and I don't think anything Rock said or did could have changed that. Bray's position and reputation isn't nearly that steady or established yet.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Was reading about this today at work and these were my exact thoughts. If Y2J or Rock trashes somebody like Undertaker, Austin or whatever ,those guys are on equal footing, you aren't hurting them because they've already established themselves as huge threats.</p><p> </p><p> Bray being trashed by Cena is a bit different though, seeing as Bray isn't on Cena's level and the feud should help elevate Bray some. You can elevate someone at all when you completely trash them. I do understand at the same time Cena has to have some sort of response, but instead of the mocking route he could have acknowledged what The Wyatt family has accomplished so far, and claimed that they won't have such an easy time with him. It's a tired thing to say, but it is probably better than really harshly running down someone who is still trying to be elevated.</p><p> </p><p> Edit- You know, thinking even more on my original thoughts on what Cena could say, remember how a couple years ago Punk called out Cena for always trying to play the underdog card, reminding him "You're the 10 time WWE Champ, youre the man!"? Well he was right. At this point, Cena should be that to put over Bray. Hype himself up to make Bray look closer to an equal/a credible threat by the time they have their match. Overall, I think people just want Cena more to play in to the story instead of running some weird side attack that doesn't help progress the story. You won't hear any of the stuff Cena said in any promo build up for the match, it didn't help their story.</p>
  13. <p>So was just on my usual dirt site, and I occasionally take a peek at the comments and this time...ooh boy was I glad I did.</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v48/DaMegaFish/HHHGimmick.png</span></p>
  14. <p>So I did finally get to watch the rest of ArRival. Thought it was a great introduction show to anyone wonder what NXT is really about (such as myself!)</p><p> </p><p> Also, Bo Dallas gets a lot of beatings for his mic work, but from what I saw in the promo package before his match, I loved it! I love the oblivious heel act too, all around good stuff.</p>
  15. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="smurphy1014" data-cite="smurphy1014" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="25169" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Had the same issue and I cleared my browser's cache and it seemed to fix the problem.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Tried it on mine. No luck. Every single time I try to watch it the show just picks up in the Adrian Neville promo and only runs through the entrances of the next match, and after that it just repeats over. If I click "Live" I get the same thing. Everything I've tried just does the same thing. Booooo</p>
  16. <p>Well, ArRIVAL was going pretty smooth, but now the stream is really struggling for me. Bummer too, I thought it was a fantastic show so far. I had never watched NXT but everyone had been doing outstanding keeping me interested in the show.</p><p> </p><p> I suppose this is why Mania' isn't the first live streaming in-ring show. Gotta get these kinks worked out.</p>
  17. So anyone watching the original shows on WWE Network yet like Wrestlemania Rewind? I personally thought the first episode was a fun watch, and I really enjoyed they showed the full tag match between Hogan and Mr. T vs Mr. Wonderful and Roddy Piper. I had never actually watched the full match and it was a actually a better match than I expected. They kinda got real loose with the tagging rules, but that really helped make Mr. T look a lot better, so I was okay with it. Anyway, looking forward to more of the original shows if they are all quality as that one was.
  18. <p>Hopefully the On Demand starts working better on WWE Network, last night I watched the opening match from Bash At The Beach 96 between Rey and Psychosis and my goodness, it was so good. As a kid, I liked the cruisers in WCW but I never realized how good they really were. Now I can't wait to watch more WCW and really watch a lot more of the under card matches.</p><p> </p><p> That being said, until then, the just regular broadcasting on the Network is decent enough. Legends Of Wrestling is great, watching Piper, and Michael Hayes light cigars up as they are talking wrestling with Mene Gene, DDP and JR. Goodness this is great.</p><p> </p><p> Edit- I know the Legends Of Wrestling isn't really anything new, but I've never watched it, so for me its a nice fresh content.</p>
  19. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="delv213" data-cite="delv213" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="25169" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>You deflected my point completely, congrats. No, your logic is that people should always kick out of someone's finisher if they're trying to put on a good match since you want that person to look on par with the other person. </div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Ooh thats my logic? That's not what I said at all. I just simply said (and not in these exact words) that if you dominate for 10 minutes, you shouldn't take 2 moves and be pinned that quickly. It makes you look extremely weak. I'm not saying that everybody should kick out of every finisher, and I stated that clearly in my last post so I don't understand where you are picking that up from. </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="25169" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Do you not notice the correlation of people trying to get a pop out of the crowd by performing moves instead of trying to tell a story of why you're performing these moves which is what wrestling is? Cena/Orton did the whole kickout of their finishing moves/perform their opponents finishing move spots at the Rumble this year. I called half of their spots, they can't tell stories. Every match they do is the exact same except the finish.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> No, I do notice it. Last year at Payback one of the best stories was told in a match that I've seen in a long time between Del Rio and Ziggler, excellent story telling. I completely understand that not everybody should be kicking out of finishers on a regular basis, but top level guys shouldn't be downed like bottom level guys so easily. Not if you're trying to establish Batista as a real threat being back. I'm not going to argue with you about John Cena or Randy Ortons ability to tell stories in the ring either, that has absolutely nothing to do with the topic. </p><p> </p><p> Allow me to turn the tables a bit on you here for a moment, looking back at Batista and Del Rio, do you think the story told during there match was a good one and effective? Just naturally curious. My point was I didn't think it was a good story told because I don't think either wrestler came out ahead because Del Rio was made to look like a punk which means Batista doesn't really gain much by beating him, at least that is how I see it.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="25169" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Ryback had Big Show kickout of his Shellshock a little while ago on Raw. Really did wonders for both men didn't it? Shouldn't wrestling psychology say that Big men falling from high places=more pain. Instead it completely buried a guy who was on a verge of being the next John Cena just a year earlier.</div></blockquote><p> A little while ago? Sorry I don't catch every episode of RAW, and sometimes I just let it play as background noise until something I like catches my eye so I don't recall this...that being said, if it was recent I think you are off point. Ryback isn't considered a threat anymore and it isn't because Big Show kicked out of his finisher, its because he lost a lot of PPV matches to the point where it was hard to take him seriously...among other things. There has been a lot more to the fall of Ryback than a kick out of his finisher. I will say that this match probably had both men picking up offense, and if that was the case then I do agree that the kick out is stupid. </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="25169" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>All I'm reiterating is stuff Jericho said on his podcast and stuff Scott Hall talked with Meltzer over on his radio show.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Cool? I respect both of them but I don't really listen to a bunch of podcast or anything either, and I'm not just going to take your word for it. The whole reason I am making this post is because I think you have shoddy comprehension skills since you seem to have my point so far misplaced, so I am not sure I buy in to your reiteration of a podcast. Also, please stop using the "I listened to a podcast" or "Meltzer said this" thing constantly. Trying to prove your points by a quoting a dirt sheet writer and listening to podcast of wrestlers, who are known to stretch the truth from time to time (I mean hey, they're entertainers, thats what they do) doesn't make you sound more knowledgeable. It makes you look like a pushy jackass who just wants to be right.</p><p> </p><p> I'm not going to keep arguing this with you, this is my final post on the subject. We obviously aren't getting anywhere. I will leave you with a final piece of advice however, and I do apologize if I come off as a bit rude in that last paragraph, because that's not typically the kind of community member I am, but, if you want to be accepted in to this community I suggest you stop being so pushy. You've been here less than a month and looking at your post history is very easy and very telling. Don't come in and attack community members who are well established here, it won't get you far. Most of the people here like wrestling and wrestling is awesome for sooo many different reasons for different people so just remember the age old wisdom that if you don't have anything nice to say, its best to say nothing at all.</p>
  20. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="delv213" data-cite="delv213" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="25169" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Fans like you are what killed the Piledriver and DDT from generating any pop from the crowd. A finisher is a finisher for a reason, it finishes the match. Remember when Kane took 3 Tombstone Piledrivers from the Undertaker to get pinned at Wrestlemania 14? Had anyone kicked out of the Tombstone prior to that match? Why do you think Kane remained over as a motherf'r after that match? Would it had been the same if Shawn Michaels kicked out of 2 tombstones prior to Wrestlemania 14 just a month and a half earlier? Kane got up right after being pinned like a champ too, completely no sold one of the most brutal looking finishers and went on being relativity over until X-Pac beat him with a single X-Factor. Yeah you read that right, 3 tombstones and no sells it only to be pinned by an X-Factor. Really did wonders for both wrestlers right?<p> </p><p> How about now a days when everyone kicks out of the Attitude Adjustment or the RKO? Really takes the momentum out of a TV match when you know that your favorite midcarder should be kicking out of the Attitude Adjustment or RKO if he was really over.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Fans like me are what killed piledrivers and ddts? Get out of here with that noise. Did you even watch the match? The people who killed those moves are wrestlers who started using them as more just medium level type moves in favor of more flashy finishers/moves. That's the business. There was a time when THE SLEEPER hold was an effective move lets not forget.</p><p> </p><p> I'm not talking midcarders should go through finisher fest at the end of their matches, not at all. I'm saying Del Rio, somebody who at this point should probably be portrayed as a decent threat seeing as he won the largest Rumble in WWE history, and has been a multiple time champion shouldn't be made to look like a scrub who after dominating and dishing out almost full offense for a match and then gets beat after two quick moves. That hurts Del Rio's credibility, which in turn hurts Batistas win too, nobody comes out looking better. I look at finisher moves as bigger hitting moves, not knock outs, just bigger hitting moves and the only reason a wrestler doesn't hit them right away in a match is because they have to wear down an opponent first. You self claim to be a Batista fan, so maybe you don't care but I just view it as a poor job of putting matches together and lately it has happened a little too frequently in WWE for my liking.</p>
  21. Double posting because this is a completely different topic from my last post... I guess this is what I'm thinking/hoping/fantasy booking WM will look like after EC? Note, I know its highly unlikely to happen this way, but darn it if I just had a fantasy booking simulator, preferably text based, this is the card I would push for! WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match Batista vs Randy Orton vs CM Punk Woah woah woah, completely out of left field right? No! You can make it work! Have The Authority endorsing Randy Orton on RAW as the "Face of the WWE" as they stand behind Kane's attack on Bryan. Enter Vince McMahon, who claims The Authority are out of control and no longer doing whats "Best for Business" Vince then says he is doing what is best for business by bringing back The Best In The World who has been absent since being cost the Rumble by The Authority. Vince sets up Kane vs CM Punk, where if Punk wins he is in the Main Event at Wrestlemania. After a ref bump, Orton comes down to the ring, and attempts to cost Punk the match, only for Daniel Bryan to run out and catch Orton with a knee, Punk then capitalizes, catching Kane with a GTS while the outside interference is neutralized, and earning a spot in the Main Event at Wrestlemania. Batista groans about Punk trying to take the spotlight, the Authority still support Orton, as he pushes their agenda, and Punk gets to be in the ME at WM. Takes a lot of fantasy booking, but hey! I wanted to get CM Punk somewhere on the card. Daniel Bryan vs Triple H Bryan doesn't need the title, he needs to defeat The Authority, who have been his constant enemy for months now. Undertaker vs Sting Well, it'd be more fantasy booking, but I'd enjoy it. Just make this happen somehow, WWE John Cena vs Bray Wyatt The build on this one is pretty much already set Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar Seeming desperate to reclaim the yard after Elimination Chamber, The Shield come out to do their old style ambush on Lesnar and Heyman who are in the ring. Rollins and Ambrose feint getting in for the ambush, but instead leave Roman to fight Brock alone. After taking something of a beating, Reigns finds a way to hit Lesnar with a Superman Punch as Rollins and Ambrose look on in shock. Sadly, this signals the breakup of The Shield Ambrose says Reigns lost sight of the teams objective. Brock Lesnar seeks revenge as Heyman sells the knockout punch as exactly that, a punchers chance, but says that The Beast will put down Reigns any time. Reigns doesn't have time to feud with Ambrose, and instead just focuses on Lesnar. Rollins and Ambrose vs Luke Harper and Erin Rowan Another battle between the two groups. AJ Lee vs Naomi Yay! Total Divas! Big E vs Cesaro After kicking out the consistently disappointing Jack Swagger, let Cesaro do what Swagger couldn't, take the title from Big E. Let a work horse like Cesaro rebuild that IC title to what it should be. NAO vs The Usos Because tag team titles and by the time we get to WM, these will probably be the only two tag teams left the way they all keep getting broken up. Probably would need another filler match or two, just short ones to break up all the main event level matches.
  22. I don't normally get too much in to the PPV reviews around here, but I actually watched Elimination Chamber and thought it was a pretty good show. I'll mark if there is match spoilers when listing contestants just to be clear. Pre-Show Rybaxel vs Cody Rhodes and Goldust There wasn't anything wrong with this match, but it wasn't particularly exciting. For some reason, I enjoy watching Ryback try to pretend that being a troll is just his character. I'd like to believe he really is one in real life, but trys to pretend he isn't by playing it as a character. I'm so perplexed. PPV Jack Swagger vs Big E Big E's titantron video needs some adjustment. It looks weird just saying Big E at the top of the weight and having the bottom empty. Other than that, a decent match but a nice carny job at the end. Botch in the finish? Just wait 10 seconds and repeat the spot. Argh. The Usos vs NAO I really don't mind the Outlaws being back, yeah they're pretty old, but they are a good veteran guiding hand in the tag division. This run is probably their swan song, and they are making good use of it. Every match they've had has been pretty good at least in my opinion and I hope they work with some more teams and can keep giving younger teams a good experienced group to work with. Darren Young vs Titus O'Neil Why did this need to go on the PPV? I just don't buy Titus as a breakout guy on his own. He is still really green and I'm still not exactly sure why they felt the need to break up the PTP, especially since the tag division was being hyped up as being really deep just recently, but now we seem to have Cesaro breaking out on his own, PTP split, Shield possibly splitting in the future, and Los Matadores being MIA lately (or if they were on I guess I wasn't paying enough attention to remember) the division that was bubbling up seems to be getting real cold. Shield vs Wyatt Family Crowd loved it, and every sing wrestler came out looking better than they went in. Seth Rollings, the one I am most worried about getting lost if the Shield split looked really strong in this match. Actually, I think every single wrestler in this match came out looking better than before. Easily one of the more anticipated matches in recent memory. Would have liked to see better/longer build up, but this match really helped solidify the EC card, so it works with me. Also, pre-match tweet by Luke Harper=golden. AJ Lee vs Cameron Wait, this match is on the card? When AJ was talking about how she had beat all the competition I was kinda hoping Tamina would be the surprise opponent, but that a good series on the E! Network does not make, so we had Cameron instead. Eh? Short match with an interesting ending so it squeaks by with a pass I guess since I didn't have to deal with it too long. Alberto Del Rio vs Batista When I was at RAW on Feb 3rd, I tried starting a "SI!" chant for Alberto, it didn't catch on but I enjoyed hearing it a bit tonight, gave me a good chuckle. The ending of the match though...what is with WWE booking EVERYBODY to look like jobbers? I've seen a lot of matches lately end after someone hits just a couple moves. I mean you're a wrestler! I don't care if its his finisher, unless its a super complete surprise (Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan at WM) you should have some more fight! Be tough! Eva Marie might actually get a pop from the crowd if the put her against Batista at this point... Cesaro vs John Cena vs Christian vs Sheamus vs Daniel Bryan vs Randy Orton (Spoiler) Best chamber match I've seen in quite a while, easily. BROGUE KICK TO THE POD. That was just cool I thought. Cesaro had another good showing, I hope they don't lose him in the shuffle now after getting people really behind him. Loved Michael Cole on commentary when it was just Orton vs Bryan vs Cena, referencing that these three all had history tying back to SummerSlam where Daniel Bryan's quest really began. A lot of good spots in the match, and good storytelling toward the end. ----End Elimination Chamber As good as the storytelling was though, I'm not exactly sure if I LIKE THIS story, at least not right now. Daniel Bryan seems to be stuck in this feud with Kane. Normally I wouldn't mind this being held down, but we've got 6 weeks til Mania! Kane vs Bryan needs to be resolved Monday or in a week, tops. The good thing is that the 6 weeks are nearly twice the build of any other PPV, so they have the time to get him pointing in the right direction, such as a match with HHH. Speaking of storytelling though, what is the story going to be with Orton and Batista? They haven't been on a path toward each other at all? The only "path" you could say to get them together is Batista won the rumble...and that has been ignored since the Rumble so Batista could snack on Del Rio a bit.
  23. <p>One of my biggest problems with the impending break up of The Shield would be what they will wear for gear after the split.</p><p> </p><p> Please don't just have them all go back to their trunks, so boring. Honestly, a big part of their excitement its different, looks cool (in my opinion) and really makes them stand out.</p>
  24. <p>So does anyone watch OSW Review?</p><p> </p><p> It's a pretty good show where they started by reviewing all the WWF Hulkamania PPV's, followed by the David Arquette WCW set (Ready To Rumble, Thunder, Slamboree) and now they are starting a mini ECW phase. Most of their videos run from 90-120 minutes and I think they are a pretty funny group. They really started hitting their stride I'd say around their 1989 reviews or 1990 area, but all around they make for some good free entertainment.</p><p> </p><p> If you want to check them out, go here!</p><p> <a href="https://www.facebook.com/oswreview" rel="external nofollow">https://www.facebook.com/oswreview</a></p>

Just something about him, even his haters get turned around a lot of times. I'm in Philly, one of the smark-heavy crowds and he gets booed when he comes out, gets cheered when he leaves. Every time. I know it's not that way everywhere but it's that way here.<p> </p><p> Yes... unfortunately... the Lawler/Barret segment was aired. I'm hoping it leads to a brutal attack on Lawler in the coming weeks though which would be awesome.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I'm by no means a Cena hater and I'll be honest, I don't really complain when he comes on. Sometimes I care more, sometimes I don't really care what he is doing, but I don't just have outright disdain for the guy, so I was happy to see him. Maybe most of the time people don't like him a ton but at least respect what he does?</p><p> </p><p> And yeah, when I got home I actually watched RAW since I always record it just so I could skip to see if BNB was actually shown, and it was just as bad on TV as it was live. Also, I did watch Aksana's attempt to kill Naomi's face. I knew that was a legit bad shot right when it happened. Credit to Naomi for still trying to smile and show some grit to finish on a positive note for the crowd, but you could see she wanted to get out of there.</p><p> </p><p> Edit- I attached a picture I took from where my seats were. Pretty decent for buying 4 hours before show time.</p><p><a class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image" href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2014_02/RAW.jpg.dea9cb113559c802a51541855abae13a.jpg" data-fileid="2711" data-fileext="jpg" rel=""><img data-fileid="2711" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt="RAW.thumb.jpg.029de1eb3b5948d3fe70b88777d7c3bb.jpg" data-src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2022_08/RAW.thumb.jpg.029de1eb3b5948d3fe70b88777d7c3bb.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></a></p>
