1. Giving the title to Reigns just to not be predictable is bad booking. Look at TNA. They give the title to guys on a whim and its all booked badly. WWE doesnt need to follow suit. The WWEs handling of Reigns, Ambrose, and Rollins has been done pretty well and I see no reason for that to change. Save Reigns/Lesnar for a future match when Reigns is a bigger star and you have a fresh main event. Lesnar/Cena is a decently anticipated matcg going by the critical response to their last match and Lesnar is owed a win against Cena anyway so why not do it on the second biggest show?
 2. Honestly I dont think that Punk was ever an A pop guy. He was more of a B+ with A to A* momentum. You'll hear Punk fans bragging about the pipebomb having ESPN coverage before but (halfway no fault of his own) he wasnt all over the media in the same way that Hogan, Austin, Rock, even Cena in 2005 were.
 3. If the dirtsheets are telling the truth, then I think on top of being burnt out the main thing that irritated Punk is that he still hasnt gotten a WM main event. I think that he would've been willing to stick around if the E gave him that. If its true that that is an issue, then I really dont see what scenario he could main event a WM in with Daniel Bryan still deserving of a decent title run and Roman Reigns' inevitable title run, and Brock's supposed title run as well. Punk implied that he was going to retire next year a couple of years back anyway so maybe this is the end of Punk's career as a wrestler. Hopefully he can come back and just work full time for one more year, and then maybe ME a WM with it being Cena/Punk one more time or something along those lines. With Taker possibly gone for good and Rock holding out for a big money check I dont see what other match would be a significantly bigger drawing match.
 4. I actually think that the product is better without him than it was right before he left, but that's not his fault. Overall Im not the biggest Punk fan and I wasnt before he left so while he is a good talent and probably one of the best talents they could possibly have right now, if he wants to leave then its his choice.
 5.
I also doubt that any WWE employee would even think to steal something as minor as an iPad case. Say what you want about WWE, but they do pay even tge low level talents decent money, much better than theyd get elsewhee in NA.

I think that this all was just a misunderstanding.

 6.
As for the Rusev argument, I think characters like him are fine. His act as a whole is over, so there should be no real problem IMO.

There is a tendency to overthink with pro wrestling, especially when you're not exactly enjoying the product, hell I did it with my posts, fantasy booking my own version of AJ/Paige and Jericho/Miz lol. But I think most will agree with me when I say that they are using Rusev to the best of his and their ability. If you take the Anti-America gimmick and Lana away from him then I dont think he has enough to offer to where he can stand on his own two feet and get fans to give a damn about him, however I haven't seen too much of Rusev in NXT so anybody familiar with their shows can feel free to correct me. Booking big men in 2014, especially when they're no Samoa Joe, is hard to do because not everybody catches lightning in a bottle like Goldberg, Ryback, and Brock did at one point in time. There should be a more unique approach to booking each big man worker but if they aren't particularly talented then there's only so much you can do with them.

 7.

I think that was probably their intention.

I know but i think that it made her look like a rookie in a bad, she sucks kind of way, not in any way that makes her look good. Paige needed the win more than AJ did IMO.

I also agree with an earlier post that Miz is irrelevant but IMO, if the plan is to make him relevant again, then WWE made a mistake doing what they did with him. He couldve had a great back and forth spat with Jericho, then lose in a brawl with Jericho before Jericho gets ambushed by the Wyatts. The way that they did things makes you care more about Jericho than you do The Miz and if your job is to make him a star then thats not what you want.

 8.
I also wasnt a fan of AJ coming back and winning the title. They should've built up towards the moment. Having Paige lose like that just makes her look like a rookie.

I also didnt like Miz getting Codebroken by Jericho, although this may be biased since I am a Miz fan and enjoyed his promo. It'd be worth it if Miz were to feud with Jericho but that looks like its not gonna happen. Wyatt/Jericho sounds like a very promising feud in terms of microphone work and Jericho is more than skilled enough to get a good match out of Bray so this is something that I want to see.

 9. Cena beating either Wyatt or Cesaro in a hard fought match would put them over just about as much as them jobbing to Lesnar would. Having a new guy win the itle isnt plausible right now when you have DB on the shelf and Punk gone. Cena was the only good choice to put the title on and Cena vs Lesnar is the biggest match that the E can put on right now. If you were running a promotion, with two of the most relevant wrestlers around both gone, would anybody really put the title on non draws like Cesaro or Wyatt to build towards the second biggest PPV of the year or would you put it on your cash cow to build towards a sure thing?
 10. Speaking of this, I read that Austin Aries and X-Pac recently spoke openly about the 6 sided ring, basically saying that 6 sided rings are more dangerous than the 4 sided ring. If that's true, then they should just stay with 4 sides. It's not like having 6 sided rings will shield the product from not being good. As far as Lashley goes, I've always been a fan of him. He had a match with Chris Benoit that showed to me that he can do a little bit of mat wrestling, although that should be evident just going by his background. Even without that I always thought that he was a good big man. Not Taker or anything but good at what he's good at. I do feel like Lashley should be built up a little bit more before potentially taking the belt off of Young, especially after not going over him at Slammiversary. That gives Young some more time to rack up some more defenses so he at least looks legit going into his loss to Lashley. If they didn't just do Joe/Lashley I'd say that I wouldn't mind Lashley's potential title run ending there. Joe is really over with the TNA fans and TNA needs to capitalize on that.
 11. Isn't Main Event a Network-only show? It not being on TV would explain that the wrestlers have more liberties on Network shows than they do on Raw and Smackdown.
 12.
From what i read Matts deal with TNA is temporary and wont stop him from being in ROH. Im a Matt fan, I think that hes a lot more consistent than Jeff if not better completely and I even think that he couldve had a decent short run with the WHC especially around 2005-2006.

TNA may as well get him permanebtly, hes way more over and would be a bigger draw than the guys they have on top right now. Not sayong that they should throw the belt on him, but having both he and Jeff as faces is instant money.

 13. I didnt like it when he first showed up on stage but i will say that this is a creative and interesing turn for Cody, one that I didnt expect. Hopefully The Dust brothers can get another 2-3 runs with the titles before reverting Stardust back to Cody Rhodes and his hopefuk push to the uppercard.

With the release of my favorite wrestler Drew Galloway I'd rather not watch a shit product anymore...

Ryder, Ryback, Axel, Kidd, Titus, Darren Young, sin Cara, Del Rio, Los Suckadores, El Tostito, Adam Rose, Alex Riley, Christian, Rey Mysterious, David Otunga, Khaki, Santino, Slater, Hornswoggle, Justin Gabriel, R Truth, Xavier Woods....

That entire list is who should be let go before Drew. Xavier Woods just recently debuted so it'd be stupid to fire him just to keep McIntyre who just couldn't keep the fans invested with or without a big push.

I mean, Dean Malenko was what, 5'8" and couldn't talk, he was never going to be world champion. In WWE, he would be making everybody look good every week on TV until beating him meant nothing (pretty much what actually happened in 2000 and 2001). In 1998 WCW, Dean was definitively beaten by the following guys: Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Booker T, Curt Hennig, and Brian Adams, in a 12 month span. He won or no decisioned every other match for 12 months, so that it actually meant something when a guy beat him (except Brian Adams, but that was part of the Hennig feud). WWE treats its midcard like jobbers until they come up with something for them to do, at which point they're like "please forget that you saw this guy getting beaten up by Kofi Kingston a few months ago."

Also, Disco Inferno ruled.

The prime example of this is Jack Swagger. He was jobbing before being taken off of TV, then when he came back in 2013 they just hotshotted him into WHC programs like we're supposed to forget that he was just jobbing not too long ago. Ziggler's doing the same thing now although he's looking a lot stronger against bigger name talent. Some booking consistency would be nice, especially for good talent.

Instead, Bischoff and Hogan came in and now, leading out of that era, it looks like the company is struggling to stay alive. Hindsight is always 20-20 but there's a lot that went on since Hogan/Bischoff that have really pulled this ship downward.

Would Heyman have done anything better? Was TNA destined to flounder and eventually die off (regardless of who came along -- the WWE is just too powerful to challenge)? As a wrestling fan, I wish it would have gone the Heyman way.

In Heyman's defense when he made the offer he had already done all of the good Smackdown 02-03 booking so its not like a big company hasnt taken a gamble on Heyman's booking before and come out better because of it, although it may have been too much for Heyman to ask for any financial control given ECW.

I think a Heyman booked TNA would at least be in a better position than they've been since 2009. I read an interview not too long ago about a former ECW interviewer who said that they were close to taking things to the next level but they just never had that financial backing to take things into another level. With The Carters' financial backing and Heyman's booking, not to mention the great roster that they had in that time period, and I think TNA would've been the best alternative to WWE since 1997.

Again, asking for financial control was a little bit too much from Heyman IMO but I find it weird that Dixie wouldn't let one of the GOAT bookers take over TNA but she let an out of his prime Hulk Hogan do so.

 17.
I can recall a tweet from Dixie saying that she's excited to see where TNA is going, but smark opinion of the product (which is a good chunk of their fanbase) and house show attendances show that she shouldn't be. TNA is going towards a downward spiral just based on numbers and I dont think that TNA are going to be able to pick things back up. Maybe they should've taken up Paul Heyman's offer several years back and just given him full control of the promotion. Or not bring back Vince Russo when they were already riding a good wave of momentum with Kurt Angle coming in and the WWE taking a nosedive in quality back in late 2006.

Hopefully Jarrett doesn't screw up with Global Force like he did with TNA, he's not responsible for all of the Hogan/Bischoff stuff, that's Dixie's fault, but TNA were doing pretty dumb crap before then when he was in charge as well. I hope TNA can prove me wrong, I'd love to see 2-3 semi-major promotions in TNA, WWE, and GFW, but if they aren't going to change then they may as well sell to Vince right now.

I guess Dixie can recruit Lashley and King and keep them heels and let MVP return as a face and feud with Dixie's faction.

This isnt a good time for pro wrestling in general with Punk walking out, Angle being injured, Bryan's injury and now MVP as well. Hopefully TNA can put Bobby Roode in MVP's place.

 19.
Cenas problems are that he doesnt put too many people over too often and he's bad at selling anything physically and verbally. I've defended his no-selling before but there were times like at WM 23 or his series of Ziggler matches where it made no sense and made things seem more fake than it already is.

The no-selling verbally is less annoying because I've seen Rock, DX, etc. do it but in an era where there are very few true trash talkers left it can be a problem. IIRC even Rock toned down the no-selling during his feud with Punk and got serious. The trash talking era has come and gone and unless you're in the ring with a Rock, Triple H, Jericho, etc. it doesnt make much sense to do it with guys who arent suited for that style.

Another thing is that for the time that he's been around, he could've really helped build up other talent. Maybe not from 2005-2010 since you could consider that his time, but from 2010- Today he's only put over Punk and Bryan, and everybody else who looked promising like Barrett, Ziggler, Miz, Ryback, etc. all got shoved back down to the midcard for no reason. This could be blamed more on WWE's crappy booking and failing to capitalize on workers' momentum for some odd reason (supposedly to make them pay their dues so they wont walk out on them like Brock did, although that's idiotic thinking in of itself) but it still doesnt look good on him since all fans see are his arm getting raised, so he becomes the scapegoat for WWE's bad decisions, and maybe with knowing that Cena should've put more people over so there'd be less for people to complain about.

The only guys who were true main eventer as long as Cena were Undertaker who couldn't really put too many others over as it'd kill his gimmick, and even he put over Brock like crazy, HBK whose record is solid, and Triple H who put over Batista, Benoit, and Cena three years in a row, let Bryan go over him and win a title match in one night, gave Randy Orton a rub by being associated with him and even put him over on a couple of occasions, helped solidify Jeff Hardy as a serious star more than anybody except for maybe Taker, etc.

Cena doesnt deserve all of the hate he gets but if he was a true company man then he'd do more to help the E build more stars especially with the youth movement going on with Bray, Cesaro, Sheamus, Ziggler, The Usos, Barrett, etc.

 20.

Irks me because this is what WWE _always_ does.

For years, the excuse for why it was okay to shove Cena being god down our throats was "He sells the most merch!" This is exactly why. You show kids every week that one man is above everyone else and that's who they're going to cheer for, no matter how boring he actually is. People want a hero they know they can actually count on to get the job done.

Every time anyone else even begins to get hot, they snub it out, quickly preventing any chance of someone else ever starting to take that spot.

Punk? Turned heel and immediately dumbed down to the point of complete lackluster performances.

Bryan? Took most of a year to actually accomplish something, proving himself incapable of something everyone knows Cena would've managed to pull off in 1 night.

Shield gets to it's hottest point? Time to break them up before the rest of the world realizes how amazing they are and begins to Believe In The Shield.

After Summer Slam, you think they're going to continue to build these guys, now? It's not going to happen, because the three men alone are never going to reach levels The Shield did, and as soon as one of them does, WWE will be quick to snub that fire out. No one can ever be seen on Cena's level.

They'll make some garbage merch, claim they're not making enough money, and be midcard acts by next summer.

You say that three men alone cant get to the heights that The Shield have but you just named two guys who did in Punk/DB.

They're not that over yet just based on raw crowd reaction, although they do get pretty good reactions right now. With Batista gone this is a shake up that was needed as the feud would've gotten repetitive without it. We're still three months until Summerslam and the rumored HHH/Reigns, and two PPVs away, that gives WWE time to get mileage out of Evolution/Shield Handicap or Orton/Rollins vs Ambrose/Reigns to make it fair, maybe one at MITB and the other at the July PPV.

Even having someone like Sheamus join Evolution (although I would like to see it) would've given us two more 3 vs 3 matches that The Shield have been doing for almost two years straight. Even if all three dont shoot up to the ME I think this was a necessary move as it had to happen either sooner or later and with the depleted roster you cant really argue for later.

 21.

Well, he does that to get this exact reaction.... I know you know this. HHH the character is supposed to be all about himself being the most important person on the roster. In reality he has been jobbing left and right for the "next generation" of superstars.

I'm impressed with his ability to make, even if its very few, people believe he is trying to make himself look better then the rest of the roster, when in fact he hasn't looked this weak... Well, to be honest I can't think of a time when he looked as weak as he does now. I don't think there has ever been a time in the last 10 years anyways, where he would obviously lose in a fair fight. He has his hammer as the equalizer, and that still didn't work. Yet somehow he has some people believing he is trying to make the show all about him, when in reality he just knows his own star potential can help catapult these guys to a status near his (if people buy into them).

My opinion so far, HHH has been doing everything (as much as I can expect) right, and it's the only reason the SHIELD have become as popular as they are now. Would I do some things different? I would like to think I would, but everything is much easier when you have hindsight at your advantage. I would have done it months ago, but I think this is actually better.

Exactly why i think that HHH is one of the GOAT heels. No heel has really been hated by marks for bullying DB and smarks for thinking that anything other than jobbing is him vuryong other talent even when they look strong in losing.

The Shield together is only going to get the three so far. There is more money in the three breaking up and becoming singles stars, and add that they get to get rubs off of HHH and Orton while doing so, I fail to see how this is HHH politicking to put himself over.

The moment itself was great and surprising because they just came off of a win. I didnt think about this before but Seth Rollins was the one who left Ambrose and Reigns high and dry when they feigned a break up a few months back. I shouldve known that Rollins was goig to turn on them but my mind kept saying that Sheamus was going to join Evolution and finally turn heel.

So the animosity is no surprise.

I'm in other minds about that, I feel there is just no way Cena could legitimately sell Bray's words. I mean reread your post, would you take your adversary screaming "I'm a God" seriously? Especially when [sadly] he hasn't gotten one over Cena yet.

It's like you guys are so worried about Bray looking strong and menacing when in reality his promos are purposely goofy... not to put a negative connotation to the word goofy, the good kind of goofy if you will. Slightly over the top. But in that aspect, how Cena reacted is fine with me. The comedy segments are a bit much but at his core that's who Cena is, he's laughed in the face of guys Bray doesn't hold a candle to.

But I say there s nothing to worry about with Bray, he just rode Cena's coattails for months so he should be destined for bigger things.

Its all about timing. If it was just a regular back and forth promo and Bray screamed "Im a God" then Cena smiling wouldnt bother me. However, the angle was supposed to show how upset Cena was at Bray for almost attacking Lawler, so smiling at anyhing that Bray says when youre still supposed to be upset just bothered me.

 23.
I agree with him about El Torito, they've gone too far with the Hornswoggle/Torito feud IMO. It's almost like they're the stars of the feud and not 3MB/Los Matadores.

Other than that, I also agree with his lack of interest in the WWE in general. The only storylines worth watching are Wyatt/Cena for Wyatt's promos mainly and Evolution/Shield. There are highlights of the WWE, especially in the undercard with guys like Cesaro and Sheamus, The Usos, etc. putting in work, but the WWE fails at making everything around the spectrum feel interesting and they've been failing at that since 2005 at the earliest.

I disagree with him about Bo Dallas and Adam Rose. Dallas' gimmick is good and i think theres some potential in him to be an early 2000's Kurt Angle esque character in where he's the morally good guy that everyone hates. Rose seems to have a slightly effeminate character but nothing unbearable to watch or vomit inducing so I feel that Graham is being close minded in that regard (not that theres anything wrong with being effeminate in this day and time).

 24. Cena's no-selling of the feud tarnishes the entire thing IMO. IIRC he smiled when he was supposed to be angry after Bray Wyatt screamed "Im a God". Then it was on Smackdown IIRC when he and The Usos did some stupid comedy segment in the middle of what was supposed to be his selling the feud. I dont think these two instances are enough to derail Wyatts momentum but its annoying to see IMO.
 25.

To be fair, when him and Booker T were given the main event slot of Raw to test the waters of having a WCW only brand, the match was awful and it was believed to mostly be Buff's fault. There was also one point where Buff's mom, the infamous Judy Bagwell, called off work for him. I can see why Vince would let him go after that. Not going to lie though, I've always liked Buff. I liked the American Males, I loved Vicious & Delicious(Scott Norton is insanely underrated), and quite honestly, I enjoyed almost all of his work in WCW. The only thing that I feel Bischoff screwed up on bad, and it appears Buff was in agreement(same with the WrestleCrap guys, was when Buff broke his neck. They could have made him one of the hottest babyfaces on his return, but instead had him work heel. He's better at working as a heel, but I think him working as a face at that point would have done well for his career.

There's also that one time he refused to put over Berlyn <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/mad.png.69834f23b9a8bf290d98375f56f1c794.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

I agree with this to an extent, but WWE could've easily just booked DDP/Booker or a smaller time main eventer like Angle or Kane vs Booker or DDP to more accurately gauge how over a WCW show would be because those were the biggest names that they had at that point in time. Putting Bagwell who IIRC wasnt near main event status against Booker was a big mistake. If WWE couldnt wait long enough to get the bigger draws involved then they should've booked DDP and Booker against the top WWE guys while they build Buff Bagwell up to be worth anything IMO.

VInce putting him out there like that when he wasnt ready was just irresponsible to me.
