1. In terms of entertainment value, all Cena needs are better feuds where he puts the other guy over every other big match in their feud. In terms of getting all of the crowd on his side, he needs to turn heel to shut all of the male fans up. If he never turns then hes always gonna be known as the guy who constantly got booed and i dont think WWEs propaganda can outspin that.
 2. Well to be honest if Cena were to lose that match cleanly it would pretty much confirm that hes winning at Extreme Rules and that would be even worse for Bray in the long run. I personally dont have a problem with Cena almost beating Bray because of the fact that it's Cena. He's "THE Man" of the WWE. Hes supposed to overcome the odds and dominate, thats his character and the WWE arent going away from that. I could see WWE doing the same thing if it were Rock vs DX in 2000 or Austin vs The Corporation in 98-99. At least it wasnt as bad as Cena nearly eliminating all three members of The Shield cleanly last year (which I also didnt have a problem with tbh) or Cena steamrolling Dolph in all of their matches. Depending on how next week goes, I predict that Cena gains an upper hand on The Wyatts before losing to Bray Wyatt at Extreme Rules, with Cena winning the last match of the feud. On another note, the fans really crapped on Cena last night, and for no reason other than hes Cena. It's annoying since he hasnt been as Supermanish since losing to Bryan, and if he did he feuded with near midcarders while doing it that nobody expected/didnt deserve/werent ready to win anyway. Damien Sandow and ADR come to mind.

Drew at least had a decent little run, and is still a big, young dude.

But honestly I think people are reading a bit too much into Evolution reforming. I think this is a temporary deal, not Evolution being a full-time stable. I think they'll feud with the Shield, maybe have some kind of multi-man match at the PPV after Extreme Rules, and go their separate ways again.

I have to disagree. Rileys push wasnt as big as McIntyres push from what i can remember and Riley was still getting pops whenever he was at house shows or working superstars matches from what some smarks have said around the net.

Its not like WWE doesnt have a long road to go with Riley either, and drew would probably get the push over Riley, but IMO theres more potential with Riley if this thing is long term.

 4. The only two people who I can see working for Evolution in the same way that Orton did are Bad News Barrett and Alex Riley. Drew McIntyre can work as well but I guess he can be considered damaged goods since his last solo run didnt work out as well as the WWE planned it.

They have all of his awesome WCW material so theres no way that anything TNA could do for Sting that can compete with that.

 6.
If he can draw viewers in consistently while champion then I dont see the big problem with Eric Young being champ other than it being way too similar to Daniel Bryan's push where the small, underlooked guy finally wins the world title.

I missed it because I was sleep, so I dont know how big or memorable the moment was, but I doubt TNA will be able to keep it up since they screwed up with the last few title runs so far.

Sabin should've never won the world title, Bully was a great heel but his title defenses werent very good as a whole, they failed to keep AJ and while I dont have a problem with Magnus being a chickens**t heel and never winning clean I do feel like a couple of clean wins wouldve done him some justice and really built him up very well considering its his first title run. He also lost the title too soon and TNA ran out of challengers for the title too early into it, which I now realize may have been a reason why they gave the title to Young in the first place.

He made him self look like a lunatic with his nonsensical blogs, his insane political standings and beliefs. I'm not saying Vince and company are completely free of blame, but it's not like he was the easiest guy to work with or even a nice guy for most of his career/life. Sting, who never really bad mouths anyone, said in his shoot interview that when they split the Blade Runners, he was so glad to be away from him. It wasn't until later that they buried the hatchet.

Before Warrior even agreed to be in WWE2K14, they started acknowledging his place in the company's history and considered him a legend. If wrestling fans can stick with the WWE through the constant Bryan screwjobs and his not entering the rumble, then they will get over a broken down old undertaker finally losing.

 9.
I wish the streak wouldve ended to a full time guy but Brock is somebody who is "good" enough to do it on kayfabe terms.

The butthurt on the net, specifically on wwe.com, is pretty lolworthy. Id say that WWE should be worried but if the WWE can survive the butthurt of Daniel Bryan fans from August-January then they should be fine. However, they do need to step up when it comes to WM every year now that they cant do streak matches anymore.

Punk is a great talent overall but I think hes praised a bit too much simply because its easier for him to shine in this era of people who are either good on the mic and crappy in the ring or crappy on the mic but good in the ring. He's a one of a kind talent in this era because hes such a great overall talent. He's not a master in any one area of in-ring wrestling, but his ability to do anything in or out of the ring is very unique these days.

He'd get outshined in the 90's-Early 2000's mainstream wrestling. Prime Angle/Jericho/Eddie/Rey/Benoit plus prime Bret, Austin, Shawn, then while Trips and Rock arent as great as those guys on a pure skill level, they still made a damn big impact plus the nWo in full swing, there'd be no place for Punk to really be as big as he became now.

All of this IMO of course.

 11.
Bringing up the possibility of Austin/Punk, I'd welcome Punk back if this happened. If they allowed both guys to be themselves on the mic it could make for an amazing feud. I dont know how good of a match you can get out of Austin who hasnt been in a ring in 11 years, but he still looks to be in decent enough shape from what I can tell, so it's possible, even if only a little bit.

There's really not much there is left for Punk to do honestly. A face vs face feud with Bryan and maybe one more Cena match for old times sake, but hes feuded with all of the important guys that he possibly can feud with.

I dont think Trips buried him at all in their match, but maybe itd be nice to see him go over Triple H especially if Bryan does, but IDK if that alone warrants a full time return where he'd be stuck in lingo long-term especially with The Shield, The Wyatts, and Bryan's stocks rising.

 12.
As much as smarks would hate it (and the match probably wouldnt be a MOTN contender), but if they built Bobby Lashley well enough he can be a legit contender for the TNA World Title. Having Magnus beat him cleanly would benefit Magnus because Lashley was booked well enough to even be a possible opponent for The Undertaker at one point (talking about Taker's segment where he chose Batista for his WM 23 opponent).

In the short term, however, I guess it'd have to be Willow. TNA are running low on faces for Magnus to go over. Eric Young would be a cool choice but I doubt very many people would want to see an EY/Magnus feud for more than 1 or 2 shows.

TNA could've easily kept Sabin and Aries face so that they can eventually be opponents for Magnus but I doubt TNA thought that far into the future.

 13.
Henry hasnt done much but theres been a lot going on since his Cena feud and honestly, other than maybe Punk leaving, everybody that needed to get pushed did.

The Wyatts are legit now, Bryan is a main eventer, the Rhodes and Usos got nice feuds with The Shield and NAO, Big Show was relevant for once, Cesaros a higher profile wrestler, etc.

Henry just didnt fit IMO, besides hes an incredibly limited wrestler who doesnt have a long list of good matches either.I know that he is a decent ratings draw ( ratings for ECW and SD bumped up when he was world champion) but theres really not a whole lot you can do with him that you cant do with a younger, more talented big guy with less dent in his armor IMO.

That being said, he is entertaining when hes in "Dats what I do!" mode.

 14.

The gimmick. He's a giant fat white guy pretending to be a Japanese lord while squashing people in matches where it was power move-taunt-power move.

I agree. The WWE should've known that the fans wouldnt connect with the gimmick. He probably would've fared a bit better if he just came back as Albert/A-Train and just wrecked stuff.

 15.

Seeing as it's all a bit quiet at the moment with WWE's bookers seemingly acting in a vaguely sensible manner and no signs of CM Punk on the horizon, I figured this might be an interesting discussion to have - it's one me and a couple of buddies were having a few nights ago:

If you could give one, and only one wrestler a guaranteed main-event push for a good period of time (let's say six months), who would it be?

When making your answer, take into consideration the current state of the roster (ie faces/heels, viable feuds etc), as well as how likely that wrestler would be to make the most of that push and establish themselves as a mainstay at the top.

(As an added debate-stirrer, we agreed to ban guys who are currently already being pushed reasonably well, eg: Reigns, Rollins, Wyatt, Bryan, Cesaro)

For my pick, I took the easy option - Dolph Ziggler. The guy just has something about him - he's very rarely in bad matches, he's passionate about what he does, he can work a mic, and the crowd love him. I'd love to see him given a proper heel run against someone like Cena (obviously the game implies that Ziggler would be getting pushed, so Cena can't bury him), because on the rare occasions he's had a chance to dial up the intensity, he's been very good. Even now, when he's just aimlessly darting from opponent to opponent in the midcard, he just seems like he's only a couple of lucky breaks away from really breaking out.

I have a few:

The Miz (this time booked as a non-joke)

Jack Swagger

Dolph Ziggler (mainly because of the reaction he gets from the crowd)

Christian (although its probably a few years too late for this)

Ryback

Out of my list, Id go with Jack Swagger first. He was so good on ECW and even up until he won the WHC, then the Big Show feud happened and he was buried over time. Even his current push is doing more good for Cesaro currently than it is for him.

If WWE just didnt screw with his ECW character, Swagger character wise would've been one of the best things going.

The WWE network mustve really been that big of a deal then, and in that case I expect him to exceed that when the fans start to really buy into the network the way that they potentially can.

 17. So much for the "hes a millionaire who couldve been a billionaire" line. Didnt expect him to still be a billionaire with the decline in ratings since 2001.
 18. IDK, Im still calling it either a straight up work, or a situation where Punks did walk out but is close enough to returning that the WWE felt comfortable with saying his name on TV and still selling CM Punk gear. WWE wouldnt have mentioned him at all if it were any other way. As sick as I am of Punk personally, he is one of the most over guys they have and for whatever reason the fans really take to him so it would really be a big loss relative to this era if he stays gone. Hes been pushed to a level where he wouldnt want to go to TNA or ROH so I expect him back in the WWE sooner or later, probably as a part-timer the longer this thing goes on.
 19.

Guys, as much I hate to say this.......

WWE is screwed this WrestleMania, after years of fans not getting what they want, it's finally unsettling, as much as people don't like the sound of it.

If Daniel Bryan doesn't make it to WrestleMania......It could mean the end of WWE and the Universe as we know it...........

Triple H......You can go f**k yourself, you talent burying bastard. (Bring back Shane McMahon and let him take over....or better yet, bring Punk back and have him go all out on Triple H.)

WWE arent that oblivious to Daniel Bryan's momentum. I expect it to be Bryan vs Triple H with Bryan going over.

With Bryan/HHH, Taker/Lesnar, Cena/Wyatt, Batista/Orton, none of those matches should suck and unlike WM29 those matches are either new or havent been done in at least 5 years. WM29 will probably have the higher buyrate especially with the WWE network cutting into WMXXX buys but XXX may end up being better than 29.

Now if Bryan doesnt go over Triple H, then we all can and should call BS on the WWE.

 20.
As much as I hated Orton for WM25, he has come a long way since then. He's probably one of the best in the WWE right now. Even Kurt Angle gave Orton props when he was bagging on Punk a while back.

Cena/Cesaro was an awesome match, one of the best TV matches that I've seen in a while. Cena's really stepped it up since coming back from injury in terms of consistency IMO. I second that Cena can work a crowd like nobodys business. Hes the only guy that I know that can walk out to boos and by the end of the match have a good amount of fans cheering for him, or at least, stop most of the audible boos.

Another thing, I think the male audience are finally starting to chill with the Cena Sucks chants, gradually if nothing else. They didnt seem as loud as they've been in the past, and in some spots in the match the cheers from the fans sounded like more men were involved in that than usual. The only time Cena was really booed badly was when he stopped the Big Swing from happening.

Hopefully this means that Cenas starting to win the male adult audience over, he deserves it for all of the work hes put in these past 11 years. I havent remained a Cena fan the entire time but he's won me back over to being one with the amount of great matches hes given us.

 21.

Yeah I don't really agree with this line of thinking, either. He was already getting mixed reactions earlier in the year from fans who were tired of him, he wasn't exactly a universally beloved guy, and sneak attack, opportunistic stuff is going to get heel heat unless you're Ric Flair or somebody who has gotten over by doing that shtick for years. Making him a whining coward who loses to everyone but keeps the title hasn't made the fans hot for him to lose the belt: witness the tremendous apathy they had for him in his matches with Big Show and Cena. If he'd kept his same viper character but worn a suit, I think he could've managed to get heat and make the crowd actually want to see him lose, instead of just not particularly caring.

If he kept his Viper gimmick he'd no doubt be cheered against Cena. He'd get booed against Bryan but at this rate anybody would, even Punk IMO. There was apathy against seeing him fight Big Show because nobody wanted to see that match, mark or smark.

He was getting mixed reactions because he wasnt doing anything relevant outside of losing Shield matches in the start of 2013. What compelling feud did he even have before the Bryan feud? It's the same thing with Sheamus. He was getting passable reactions when he was WHC but when he began feuding with midcard acts the fans stopped caring and he barely got any reactions from what I heard.

Fans are giving Orton enough boos from what I've seen of Raw. The reason people arent caring if they arent are because he's feuding with Big Show period and Cena for the millionth time. If he stayed feuding with guys like Bryan, Punk, etc. the fans would be more invested. IMO it's not the heel that's the problem, it's the faces that the E are putting him against.

 22. When you think about it, if the WWE didnt change Orton's character from The Viper, fans would have no reason to boo him. They'd probably still cheer for him. IMO it's the Steve Austin effect. Orton's so good at playing the sadistic badass that people will rally behind him instead of against him like they are now. Looking at it that way, the WWE did make the right move by changing his character.

Punk is technically breaching his contract right now by not working, if he comes out and says anything he'll most likely make it worse if WWE decides to take him to court over the situation instead of just granting him his release.

Not being sarcastic when I say this, but I didnt know/dont think that just saying that you walked out or that you're taking a break would do anything to hurt him. I dont think the WWE's that uppity that they'd even sue him if he did, either.

Like another person said, when you add in the Independent Contractor thing that WWE's made a living drilling into everybodys mind, I dont think theres anything illegal about Punk speaking out about his walk out to a certain degree (he cant be a Zack Ryder and constantly whine about them id assume, but one or two tweets just giving his diehards a notice of where hes at right now)

I am impressed by how Punk is handling everything if this is real. To me he came across as somebody who tries a little too hard to be a contrarian and a bit of a crybaby over his about to quit the WWE over Miz MEing WM 27.

It's very likely this is a work.

I agree. Punk usually is very vocal on Twitter but so far I havent heard about him saying anything about the WWE and his walk out, which is very odd considering the type of person he usually shows that he is in terms of vocalness.

It's probably a work, I still wont believe otherwise unless he says something.

 25.

It's unanimously agreed by Meltzer and the Observer that Punk should've won that match, there was no reason to have Triple H win only to have Punk take the title off of Del Rio a little over a month later. Punk's momentum took a hit because Nash screwed Punk for no reason what so ever, and what made it worse was Punk never got his revenge on the guy who had all the heat for the dirty deed. Also Triple H was a part timer, why is a part timer going over a guy who just pinned Cena twice over the last two months? Shouldn't this guy get that rocket strapped to his back after beating your top babyface who was pinned a total of maybe 3 times prior to this from 2005-2011? In the end, Cena was pinned twice in a row, that's got to hurt his momentum short term. CM Punk pinned Cena twice in a row only to lose to a part timer, and Triple H feuds with Kevin ****ing Nash. Good job Triple H, we all clamored for that great Triple H versus Kevin Nash feud in 2011.

People BTW, CM Punk was only champion that long because WWE made a commitment to The Rock that they'd do a CM Punk vs The Rock feud where The Rock takes the title off of him. He held the title for over a year and main evented a grand total of 1 PPV(TLC 2011) before turning heel. And he only main evented that PPV because Cena wasn't on the card. His next main evented PPV came at NOC 2012 against John Cena. Nearly 1 year after winning the title.

As far as the result goes, it shouldn't matter. Punk didnt lose overness or popularity by taking the loss. He lost to a guy that destroyed The Undertaker at WM and left him to get carried out of the arena, something never done in WM history. He lost to a 13 time world champion whos defeated the GOATs. The casual fan doesnt care about who is a part timer or who is a full timer, or whether a part timer goes over a full timer. That's mainly a smark mindset.

Now the transition from Punk/Vince to Punk/Trips was messy, but that was because Nash wasnt cleared to work his match with Punk, so they had to hotshot Punk/Trips to make up for that. They didnt just say "Hey lets do HHH/Nash for teh lulz" lol, they had to pretty much book on the fly when Nash found out he couldnt work.

Punk taking that loss didnt hurt his momentum IMO, especially considering he looked about as strong as you can make somebody look taking it.
