1.
Buff does seem like a pretty cool guy. I wonder why both WWE and TNA have passed on him. Sure, he wasn't the best wrestler or anything but IMO the could've made some money on himi the took the time to invest in booking him properly.

I really feel bad about Vince screwing him over with the money. He really could've just sat at home and collect his thousands like the other big time WCW guys did.

 2. That was a decent Canadian Destroyer. Didn't know that Bagwell still wrestled, I thought he retired to do the male escort thing.
 3. Watching Ziggler/Del Rio from MITB last year. Ziggler was really over at this time, he even got ADR some heat just by going against him. I know he had the concussion but WWE really screwed up with him in the aftermath of that situation. Hopefully hes the next one who gets a big push.

Just didn't enjoy the match... I know it was Kaz basically just fufilling his dates but the match lacked entertainment and was pretty much just a joke.

from what I've seen I am not a fan of crazy steve or the menagerie, don't get me wrong I loved uber beard Knox from WWE but not enjoying this whole failing circus shtick

IDK I thought Knox had something during his CM Punk/Kelly Kelly feud on ECW but then WWE killed his character when he moved to Raw. He probably should've been on ECW for at least another year before making the move.

Not sure what The Menagerie's supposed to be but I agree I didnt like the Kaz match as well.

 5.

They had a chance to make James Storm the face of the company in 2012 when he was white hot and then Aries beat Roode and ultimately lost to Hardy and turned heel for no reason

Storm and Roode had an incredible match and then Storm has floundered since

Yeah thats probably the biggest one of the Hogan-Bischoff era. Storm couldve been big and even Aries couldve went far if they stuck with it. I wouldnt even had minded Storm/Aries/Roode at BFG and let Storm take the title then.

TNA has screwed up way too many times for being the number two company that wants to be number one. Theyre not going to get everything right because theyre not perfect. We could probably name twice as many people that WWE have screwed as well. But the differebce is that the WWE can afford to make mistakes at this rate, TNA really cant.

 6.
In terms of pure wrestling skill, Daniels and Alex Shelley are probably two of the best who have never won the big one. Jay Lethal as well.

In terms of how big of a draw that they could have been, I think that TNA screwed up big time with Monty Brown and The Pope.

 7.
I actually wouldnt mind MVP taking the belt off of EY if he were to drop it to a Face Bobbu Roode.

All of these turns and stables makes it look like TNA cant make any decent long term plans. That being said this new Stable seems like it has potential but i dont trust TNA to utilize it to its fullest potential.

Kofi has been a career jobber. How can you say Lita and Trish wouldnt be in? They are considered the 2 best Divas in WWE history.

Im not saying that Trish and Lita shouldnt be in, Im saying that the HOF has space for people who werent the biggest draws or world heavyweight champions. You can be a midcard act, like Trish and Lita very much were, and still be considered HOF worthy talent. Rikishi was one of the most popular midcarders at a certain point, people who didnt really watch wrestling like that knew of him back in the AE days from what I can remember. If he doesnt deserve to be put in then there are others who dont deserve it as well IMO.

As for Kofi, how has he been a career jobber? Sure, he hasnt been god pushed like Cena and may be an afterthought at times but he has 7 IC and US titles altogether and was a 3 time tag champion. His Royal Rumble feats are all more than memorable enough for a WWE HOF. He's one of the more over midcarders, has over a million twitter followers. All he needs is a world title and he's a shoe in for HOF as far as im concerned. Id even compare Kofi Kingston to a modern day Tito Santana in that while he may never be a WWE World Champion, he has all of the tools for remaining a relevant midcard act for years to come.

 9.

Exactly. Rikishi was a MIDCARD ACT. There is nothing legendary about him. Should Fandango go in because he has his Fandangoing? Should Swagger go in because people like WE THE PEOPLE? The HOF is about the legends of the company. People who actually did something memorable. Nash, Savage, Owen(he would be if his wife wasnt a bitch).

Thats like saying Santino should go in because the crowd loves him...

Just because you're a midcard act doesnt mean that your career isnt legendary or hall of fame worthy. In that case, then Lita, Trish, Scott Hall, etc. dont deserve their spots and I think just about anybody would disagree with that. Kofi Kingston is well on his way to having a HOF worthy career just off of his resume right now, as does a guy like William Regal.

The HOF isnt like the HOI in TEW where they only include the absolute best of the best talent. There's room for Rikishi.

What in the hell? Whos next The Hurricane and Zach Gowen?

Rikishi was a popular midcard act in the last peak era and has a decent resume on him. Id think to put Nash in the HOF since we just finished doing one for Hall but there could be a lot worse acts than Rikishi IMO.

 11. Just re-watched HHH/Hardy from No Mercy 2008. Great match. I appreciate the fact that they didnt try to finisher spam the match through like your typical big WWE match, the finish was a good swerve IMO, although since this was the second time they fought in a row (they had the Scramble match the month before), it got a bad reception from smarks I can recall. I think it would've been better received if they had the 1 on 1 the month before and then the Championship Scramble at NM. Another thing, JR and Tazz were great together on the announce team for Smackdown. Compared that to what we have today and today's announce team sucks IMO. Very little excitement from the announcers of today which brings down the excitement that you feel for the match. Cole isnt a bad announcer on his own merits but just isnt JR, I'd rather WWE fire him and bring Joey Styles back to the announce team, although a Styles/JBL team would be ironic given their fight several years back.

Why can't they just push her as an extremely talented Diva who was able to dethrone the undefeated AJ yet lack the experience and that it's something they can take advantage of. It's a logical way of thinking that makes Paige seems talented, the Divas as smart challengers, and pushes away from the all women are jealous and hate each other.

I was just going to say this as well. It really doesnt make any sense IMO when they have Superstars and Divas jobbing on NXT sometimes yet they still want to portray the NXT call-ups as rookies.

Seriously, what's the point of watching NXT if nothing that's established on there carries over to the main shows?

I think that its WWEs way of establishing NXT as the ksyfabe minor leagued and regular WWE as the majors.

Hopefully DBs situation is a work and he can come back soon. If this is real then i guess this can be Batistas chance to get the title.

 14.

It's actually the only time I've ever enjoyed Drew and even Jinder

Always thought both were pretty awful before 3MB. Loved Slater and Gabriel as a tag team back in the day before they broke up for no reason...like Cryme Time...and the Hart Dynasty...and the Primetime Players... you see where I'm going with this.

Just imagine how much better WWE's tag division would be with those teams still there.

They also nixed International Airstrike (Gabriel & Kidd) for no reason as well. That team had pretty good potential.

 15.
I agree, TNA is just lost right now. They've lost their identity and they cant seem to find it anymore.

No hate against Eric Young, but you have Austin Aries, Jeff Hardy, Bobby Roode, James Storm, Samoa Joe. That's a strong roster of talent that could've taken the strap off of Magnus, and even that was done way too prematurely. They didnt give Magnus any credible wins, and he loses the belt before he even gains traction.

Compare that to Triple H's second title run. He also lost the title to Big Show for no reason, but after that he had two credible wins over Mick Foley that helped put him over the top. Magnus had no wins of that type. Sting or AJ could've easily been the Mick Foley to Magnus' Triple H.

The multiple turns, not letting those turns last, the multiple stable storylines, screwing with perfectly good storylines (Not letting Storm/Roode be for the title, having Sabin beat Bully before AJ did), and most of all not capitalizing on the talent that they do have or on the possible talent that they could've picked up.

Carlito is a star in the making with the right motivation. The Pope just screams "potential draw". They fire Daniels and Kaz is on his way out, they dont try to bring back MCMG, they let go of AJ for no reason, Shelton Benjamin screams X-Division yet they never signed him, etc.

TNA, even without the Angles, Stings, Hogans, etc. could still be a very viable company if they were willing to snatch up all of the good young talent out there and utilize their current talent correctly. Anderson was a future WWE headliner before he entered TNA. Why havent they been able to help him realize his potential?

I thought ROH was in much worse shape than it currently is in. I finished watching the last episode of ROH and they look to be in a much better shape than TNA is in currently.

If Dixie and Co. can't get it right they might as well let WWE buy them out right now and get it over with IMO.

 16.

I still don't think Batista was promised any title win, WWe has never, nor will they ever do that. there is no proof of this, no one in the know screaming about it, Batista did not make a fuss about it, there is NO reason to think he was.

Werent there rumors about Jericho having a promised title run in his 2007 WWE deal?

Even if he wasnt promised a title in ink, he still is a trooper for getting plans changed on him like that and it must suck for him as well but like I alluded to with the nWo Vince has a history of doing that.

 17.

It sucks for Batista, but I guess that's what happens when 95% of the audience boo your big return. He's had altercations with fans since and has just generally acted extremely childish over the audience's negative reaction towards him. Him tapping out to Daniel Bryan does not redeem him in my eyes, when a professional wrestler is told to do the job, he goes out in front of those fans and he does it. Now if Batista specifically asked to be the fall guy because he wanted to put Bryan over, then that's a different story but if I'm judging the recent dirt sheet reports, it certainly seems like he's got his tail between his legs and he's gonna skulk off in a huff because he didn't get what he wanted.

Its not even about not getting what he wanted, its pretty much not getting what was probably promised to him. IMO Bryan getting the title made for a better WM ending, but if Vince promised Batista a title run then Vince needs to be a man of his word and honor what he said he was going to do. Anybody would be pissed if they went from winning the title to having to tap out in the main event. That's not even mentioning he didnt even get to look that dominant in the build up to WM. At the very least Orton should've taken either the fall at WM or the fall at ER to even things out.

As for his getting booed, I dont see anything wrong with that. Its the job of the fans to let the E know what they do and dont want. I dont think that nobody never wants to see Batista with the title ever again, but I do think the feeling among fans is that it's DBs time. Its the same thing with The Rock. I dont think anybody really wanted to see The Rock die, they just didnt want what they were given at the time. I prefer Heeltista anyway so it all worked out but I do hope he gets his title run somewhere down the line.

If I remember correctly Chris Masters was revealed to be in contact with a guy who has the blog on the site not too long ago and even did an exclusive interview with him after his release. The guy revealed he had numerous people under contract with WWE talking to him at the time but wouldn't reveal their names for obvious reasons.

Classic Vince indeed, no superstar that left on his watch has ever been greeted back into his fold without Vince giving them an extremely hard time with numerous broken promises. Poor guy, he's definitely been giving the screws. No doubt Batista was originally suppose to win the title, the guy should be pissed.

I recently watched Scott Hall and Kevin Nash shoots about how Vince basically screwed them over with the nWo angle. Hall was only supposed to work 10 days a month and he ended up working over 20 his first month back, then Hall was supposed to beat Austin at WM and the nWo were supposed to stand tall over The Rock but he changed things the day before.

People probably wont care about this because its Batista, and thats kinda f'ed up since he's essentially wasting his time by coming back in the grand scheme of things. He could be working on another movie, maybe do another MMA fight or something, instead hes getting screwed out of a probably promised title run and has still been nice enough to tap out to Bryan and take the fall for Evolution at ER. As a Batista fan this is kinda upsetting.

 19.

Sheamus already got beat by Yoshi over a blender and allegedly Hunico can hold his own. Kevin Steen said he would have probably gotten destroyed if they fought when they had an altercation in ROH-

Didnt know that. Again, anything can happen in wrestling if Goldberg could get owned by Jericho. Just expected a little more out of Sheamus seeing how hard hitting his matches tend to be but maybe thats just too much faith in what I see on TV.

 20.

The Miz: REALLY?......REALLY?.........REALLY?........REALLY?.........Well before I jump on the tally bandwagon, I need to see some proof.

I second this. It's not completely impossible for it to happen but I find that suprising that Sheamus would lose to Sin Cara seeing how physical his matches get in the ring.

 21.
The name shortening thing are either the Goldberg effect, where they feel like just going by one name instead of two will make the wrestler sound more menacing, or just simply shortening the names to make them easier to remember. They do this with the divas all of the time.

Cesaro as an only name works for me, Big E is ok, I prefer Alexander Rusev to just Rusev, however.

 22.

Fair enough, one's entitled to one's opinion. You state yourself well. I just think his accomplishments and how far he's come speaks for his skills. I certainly don't think he's held back by PG but that's my opinion.

It's interesting that writing comes up when rumor has it Bray's one of the few guys essentially writing his own promos. From what I understand he's given bullet points and everything he says must be approved, but he's been pretty much given free reign over his promos.

I can believe those rumors about Bray doing his own promos. Triple H is in charge of creative now and since he was huge in the AE he knows what works and doesnt work, so I expect bullet points to be the new trend the longer Triple H is in charge of creative.

 23.

Really? He comes off as an amazingly natural speaker to me. His promos have been some of the best moments since I started watching wrestling again.

I second this. Bray is really good on the mic.

 24.

Dude you do not like wrestling. Why do you still watch? I'm not trying to hurt your feelings or start a fight. I am genuinely curious as to why you habitually watch a product that you haven't liked for a long time.

And i'm not making this personal but like wrestling is kind of the only thing this happens with. No one goes and joins a hockey forum to talk about how much they hate hockey. Why do people love talking about how much they don't like wrestling? It's so weird to me. I mean we all on this board have criticisms at times and we make fun of things or even blast things. But I mean your one of the guys who simply does not enjoy this TV show anymore. So why waste your time watching? And then waste even more time talking about hating the time you spend watching?

I completely agree. Although pro wrestling isnt what it used to be i still can enjoy some or most parts of the show, so while i can understand where the guy was coming from, hes still wrong for saying that the entire show sucks and there are smarks everywhere that do that. Its the most annoying thing to see smarks constantly bag on the E yet continue to watch it. Its self torture when you think about it lol

 25. Cena has everything an all time great needs and is a legit legend at this rate. However,i dont think he will go down as a GOAT like Hogan, Austin, Rock, etc. if he doesbt turn heel before he retires.
