Bakuman doesn't really sound like my cup of tea, the nomance of most of the anime shows is a bit sticking point for me. Still, it's good to see a ton of variety in what you review. Good stuff bud.

Slice of life show, lots of drama and weirdness. Same stuff i won't watch as a live action piece on the WB!. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Time to re watch My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU so i can get my angst back. I agree what you about Chaos Head. It started out weird but interesting then slid down the slope and crashed. It was different enough for me to watch but at the end, felt like i wasted my time. Good reviews. Keep posting bud.

It's an amazing show and i agree with your detraction for it, it's something i would recommend for everyone. It's got a style all it's own and for once, the simmering romantic tension isn't just left to stand in the background. Good stuff TK. I've seen Squid Girl on Netflix and it just seems like a silly and funny show. Every so often i watch the cute stuff just to get all that blood and guts out of my system. I might take a look at it. <p>I think i'd up Ah! My Goddess to a C but thats because i found the show charming and solid for the most part. I do agree that it's biggest failing is that it just meanders around with Keichi just being a dweeb and taking forever for things to get anywhere. While i understand the genre it's just gets old after seeing it over and over and over.</p><p> </p><p> Urd is my fav of the series, but i like the older and mischievous characters. She's a laugh. I also agree that Urd brings little to the party. If she wasn't there, you wouldn't miss her. Mara at the end, I guess it's just to show that Belldandy is truly a powerhouse but i feel that the fights are just tacked on and unnecessary.</p><p> </p><p> Still, it's a sweet and nice show for the most part and i wasn't disappointed that it watched it.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Add Heaven's Lost Property to your list, cause ...well, who needs a friend anyway.. muhahahahaha!</p>

Anyone use the Playstation Home for the ps3? I was thinking of getting it but it's 32 gigs or something like that for a dl, is it worth the space?

I just bought a PS3 so i've been watching stuff off of Netflix and Crunchyroll, though Crunchy kinda sucks with my crappy connection, has anyone used Neon Alley or Crackle on the either on the PS3 or the PC?

I just joined the ranks of the PS3. Got the Last of US bundle, pretty cheap over all and i'm just now playing Batman Origins, it's fun so far. I've been wanting a Blue Ray player so now i have the best of both worlds.. heh. Time to start buying the extras, headset, cable, used games. The world is my burrito.

<p>I never got to see much of Last Exile myself but what i saw looked and seemed really good. I've heard good things about it and i think i'll have to give the full series a look.</p><p> </p><p> Nakaimo- My Sister Is Among Them! is something i watched, wonder if i should be ashamed.. heh. It was creepy and silly so i liked it really. Though i thought that the show failed in one respect, Spoiler if you don't want to know, the "little sister" tells him she's younger than him, so if he just dated the girls his age or a little older that solves the plot, and yes, i over think all these shows.</p><p> </p><p> Great stuff, watch more weird stuff, it's funny to read you're thoughts on shows like Nakaimo and their like.</p>

I haven't watched Segoku Collection but i've noticed that there are ton of these kinda shows, gendered switched historical figures from japan's past. Some are ok some just seem to be silly like Segoku seems to be. I watched and really liked, The Ambition of Oda Nobuna. It's a gender switched version like this but more serious in tone but with comedy. Plenty of moe to be found but over all, it's more serious bent is what i liked. Liked the review.

I did enjoy the Dusk Maiden show. Quite good for the most part and i do agree with the way it ended thought it'd go one way and circled back for the one they used. I didn't really mind it though. It's a good and solid show for what it is.

<p>That's my take. I took a shot and watched Omamori Himari, egads the voice of the main character is just wrong, the over the top fan service really takes away from the show in my opinion. I dig harem shows but that one is just gonna be all kinds of wrong. You're so right on the amount of cliche's the show goes through in one episode. </p><p> </p><p> Not even all the panty shots and innuendo in the world could make up for that! Heh. Still, it's so over the top that it's vaguely amusing, but i'll pass on watching more. </p><p> </p><p> Keep up the great reviews bud.</p>

I always think of fanservice as the unnecessary and non plot related bit of silliness. That being said, fan service can be funny or even a bit titillating but mostly harmless. For me as long as it doesn't got too far over the top then it's fine and sometimes even welcome. I don't go out of my way to find Echhi shows but if i find the show tedious then even a large amount of fan service is meaningless and i'll just move on to something else. Rosario + Vampire is very much an Echhi/fan service show but i like the plot and characters so the naughty parts are funny. In more serious shows i don't find nakedness or sex clothing to be fan service if it's part of the show's tone, Phantoms is like that for me. Samurai 7 and such have a different tone and what could be called fan service just adds to the show. Overall i don't dislike fan service and it's fine even if it's over the top like High School DxD. Its all about if a show is good first, if the fan service takes away from the plot, from the characters and just goes to far then i turn it off and move on to something else. Of course fan service is very different from Hentai but that's a different discussion all together.

<p>I kinda posted this in E-V's dynasty but i figured i'd ask here as well.</p><p> One of the things that keeps me from doing my own dynasty is presentation. I see a lot of great ones out there, Eisen-verse's is a great example of how i'd like to present mine.</p><p> </p><p> Thing is, i'm not sure what everyone uses to write their dynasties and how to make it look right on the boards. I was hoping i could get some advice and tips to make a solid and good looking set up that will work for one should i decide to take the plunge.</p><p> </p><p> I an using wordpad currently but while i can get it to look kinda like i want, i'm not sure how to transfer that look and style to tbe boards. It never comes out looking the way it does in wordpad. I could use suggestions on what programs to use and tricks/tips to get it looking right.</p><p> </p><p> Hope that made some sense. <p>Just going off the Cena/Henry match, i haven't seen the show, It's just disappointing that Cena won. At this point, is there anyone that can really challenge him for the title? He's unstoppable and after Ryback and Henry being that last of the monsters for him to fight.</p><p> </p><p> If Cena does lose the belt, it's gonna be anti climatic, at least to me. If Ryback or Henry can't take him down, then what chance does anyone else have? Super Cena is the worst gimmick ever. I don't hate Cena, but if you can't make him human from time to time, then the matches get predictable, and with that you've lost any reason to watch them.</p><p> </p><p> Good to see the Uso's get a push. The MITB matches sounded fun. Sandow winning was a surprise and i will hate on Orton all day everyday for like, you know, ever. So many other people deserve a chance to run with the ball and Blandy Orton gets to go for another title.
