  1. So for sometime now it's bothered me that with most upgrade levels on a broadcaster it would be cheaper to just build a new broadcaster at the next level than to upgrade your current broadcaster. Now I get that there should be extra cost involved in upgrading existing stuff that you wouldn't have with building new, but it should never be cheaper to build a whole new company than to upgrade your current company that already has a lot of the required assets the new company would need. My suggest would be take the cost of building a new broadcaster at that level, multiply it by a set value between 1.1-1.25 and then subtract the value of building a new broadcaster 1 level lower. Ex. Building a new Big broadcaster in the USA cost $8,275,000 to upgrade to Big from Medium currently cost $9,487,500. Using this new method at 25% additional cost (1.25 modifier) to upgrade to Big would cost $7,018,750. If you had previously built your Broadcaster at the Medium ($3,325,000) level you total cost would now stand at $10,343,750. Still more costly that if you had originally built a Big network, but the upgrade still cheaper than shutting down your current network and just building a new one. At the current level starting a network at Tiny in one zone and upgrading it fully to Enormous would cost 223% of just building it new at that size. Under this new method at 10% additional it would be 119% and at 25% additional cost it would be 149%. Still more than if you just build new, but significant savings over the current and it would make more since too.

  3. There are plenty of times to where they will go to a commercial mid match. The wrestlers don’t just stand there waiting for the cameras to come back on.
  4. Nice work there Reaper! Are those real diamonds? Lol
  5. Death Before Retirement - A very rare attribute but one that would reflect guys Like Bullet Bob Armstrong and Terry Funk that continued to wrestle into their 70s.

Basically, I'm playing with TheWho87 mod and using AEW, and WWE and NJPW offered some contracts to some of my workers, who had contracts with me and AAA. I think that if I'm competing against WWE to keep my worker under my company, the game should not give me the block because I have a deal with AAA that we can't steal from each other. I mean, we both lose the worker if the other company signs him.<p> </p><p> Another thing I was thinking is, wouldn't be cool if there was a particular speech to a worker to make him take a worker under his wings?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I can think of a gamy work around for the first one, use the in game editor, make his/her AAA contract for only 1 day. Then compete with WWE for the worker the following day. (Alternatively you could try to see if you can get him to sign a long-term non-exclusive ironclad with you over the WWE/NJPW exclusive deals.)</p><p> </p><p> For the second you can currently just create that relationship, but would be cool to have the talk to option. </p><p> </p><p> I would totally be in favor of both of these things being changed in the normal game play though.</p>
  8. So I just finished my first year running entirely in patch 1.17 and after. Using a very barebones roster of my UC 3 wrestlers average salaries of $30 per show each no referee and Honest Frank (owner) working for free. The economy was above 50 the whole time and the industry above 70, but because of the reduction to growth rate I finished the year $3k in the hole. Without an increase to the starting company finances I don’t believe this challenge will be feasible anymore.
  9. What version of TEW are you using? It sounds like you're using a very old patch that doesn't include some of the additional products. You'll probably want to update your patch.
  10. Another work around if you're wanting to change something in a game you're currently playing is at the beginning of a month make that save a database, then go make the changes in the database editor and start a new game from where the old one left off.
  11. I feel like after Patch 1.17 the starting money for this needs to be adjusted as it's not possible to avoid bankruptcy with a 0 pop company with only $1000 anymore. Before you could start turning a profit around month five, but now that is more like month ten or eleven and then they close you down at put you out of business in month fourteen.
  12. Additionally what they are asking for “We want at least 3 episodes and what you promise them doesn’t entirely jive either. As if you were to run the old weekly PPV TNA in early 2000s. And you said 3 episodes your contract would end in less than a month. Seems like there should be a way to promise at least x not just exactly X.
  13. Hey Reaper, glad to see you're back creating TEW titles. If you can, I'd like a World Championship, Tag Team Championship and Women's Championship for Rx4. Here is their logo. <img alt="mchqDk4.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/mchqDk4.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

I think Medium should get you to 60-70, Big 71-80, Very Big 81-90, Enormous 91-100.<p> </p><p> This type of range per coverage seems like it would be about fair. This means broadcasters would need bigger deals to get bigger coverage as intended, and would make bigger ones more meaningful.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> You missed Huge, but I would be okay with Huge and Enormous both getting you to 100, as long as enormous is faster and generates more money.</p>

I think that you can get into the 90’s in a foreign region with medium and that feels a little high to me. Also if Medium takes you to 100 in your home area it kind of makes the next 4 levels pointless too.</p>
  16. From the looks of it I would say that they have medium size coverage in the Oceania area. They could hit Titanic, but they would need to get more coverage there.
  17. Triple H: So Ryan we seem to be stuck on large and can’t get over the Tasmania hurdle, how do you propose we do that. Ryan George: Oh it will be super easy, barely an inconvenience. You just need to relocate to Australia, then you can continue to run your shows in the US like normal and you you will be Titanic.
  18. Actually the way that it works now it's actually easier for Australian based companies to get Titanic, because the way the pop limit works is it will prevent any company not based in Australia from getting past 75 even from enormous coverage, but Australian companies can easily go past that mark and become Titanic.
  19. Well it is pretty clearly the opposite of how the game works as the company in the original post is American based and probably has never held in Australia yet, all the other Australian regions are close to 90. Also I am pretty sure that in real life WWE is asking what is the smallest possible place in the world we can hold a show because that’s the area we need for our growth.
  20. Yeah that might get you to Titanic without changing anything, but it is pretty bad if to get to the highest level in the game you are required to continuously run shows in the least popular region of the game. It also makes me question just want 100 is because it doesn’t seem like it is 100% of that regions available viewers.
  21. I did some testing and it appears that Tasmania popularity caps out at 75 even when you have enormous coverage, thus making the Titanic size unacheivable. My recommendation would be maybe lower the requirements so that you maybe only need 90% of the regions above 77, instead of every region above 77, or change the coverage caps to be a flat% based on the size of the broadcaster.
  22. I would go so far as to say have the total needed equal to what was needed before, so if 5 75s, you need 375 heat, and only count storylines that are no worse than 10 below what the average should be, and at least 1 storyline needs to be above, so if you're looking at that 75 bracket a storyline would need to to be at least 65 to count. Additionally you'd need 1 above 75, so that you don't just have 6 65s and say you're meeting the goal.
