No matter how good you or others may think TNA have been re-branding the company is the #1 thing they need to do. It still carries the stigma of bad years past but most importantly as many have said already with the sale talks it's hard enough to sell wrestling to advertisers let alone a company with a name that invokes the idea of tits and ass.

With the WWE title match opening the show I'm somewhat interested to see what the put in the main event slot. Given the build I think Miz and Ziggler is the best option.

I don't know how the next day avaliblity would go over with usa but it was one of the things listed as a possible benefit of the higher tier. I don't remember all of the things listed but I remember next day viewing, a free PPV chair after a year, and a letter from Vince as the only things that were of interest to me.

On the subject of the more expensive network tier I was part of a WWE survey about what one would like to see or expect as a part of that higher cost. Watching live Raw and Smackdown was not listed as a benefit of the tier but they did say next day viewing of the shows no waiting a month or so.

Cena AJ was the only match that drew me in everything else I just couldn't get into. Takeover had me interested in almost everything going on and I'll personally take that over a meh show with one great match.

Wow that was a flat anticlimactic ending. Takeover was far and away the better show this weekend.

Echoing everyone else but takeover was GLORIOUS. Roode does need a new finisher though is that what he used in TNA? I wouldn't be surprised if Joe is getting called up soon especially if Finn wins tonight. I hope Bayley isn't called up right away though that's only because I'm going to see NXT in September and she's my daughters favorite. Really as has been pointed out already who else is ready to challenge Asuka after last night?

While I get the complaints about giving away the demon entrance doing on TV was the right thing to do to get people to see it. While ratings are down for Raw it still gets more viewers than a Pay Per View/Special. Seeing the entrance could convince some viewers to subscribe to the network which is what's most important for WWE trying to please Wall Street.

In terms of content NMS easily is worth the 60$ but that's not the point. 60$ is the standard retail price for new games from triple A games like GTA to terrible crap games like Ride to Hell or Battleship released broken and with hardly any content. Saying a game is triple a just because of the price point is wrong on so many levels. Also comparing content to these other games NMS is definitely in the triple A relm I already know I'm going to be sinking the same sort of time I spend on an Elder Scrolls or or fallout game into this.

So by releasing a game at the standard price point for new games 59.99 USD here that constitutes a triple a game? Triple A games are games like GTA, CoD, Elder Scrolls and the like. They have huge teams of people working for years and spend millions promoting said games. Can the games be compared sure but a handful of developers creating something like NMS is a big difference from a company like Ubisoft who probably has triple that working on just 1 aspect of a game like assassins creed which will still ship full of game breaking bugs and glitches something which I haven't really heard about for NMS past the little issue some had with the pre order ship. Not sure why you have an issue with multi-player I can and have seen other players discoveries so it's there you want all the traders flying around to be real players then there would also need to be millions of people playing constantly which is unrealistic. As far as the game "working" I'm not having any issues but I'm playing it where it was intended not saying that's an excuse but it's become a seemingly more common theme that PC ports of console games are full of issues though. As far as playing NMS I've had tons of fun exploring I was filthy rich for a time after finding a planet full of gold. I had about 2.5 million credits and blew most of it on an aliens ship with tons of cargo space and upgraded weapons. I also found a literal water world hardly any land and almost all the plants animals and landmarks were submerged.

Wow lots of hate on No Man's Sky and I have to ask did anyone do any sort of research or anything prior to playing. I've been following pretty much everything I could about the game for about 2 years or so and Sean Murry in interviews has been very open about what the game is about and how it's changed. I'm loving my time with it and easily lose track of time while exploring. My biggest issue is people calling this a AAA game it's not it's an indie game Hello Games made this with like 15 people. Not saying people are wrong for not enjoying a game that I like but for example to be so dissapointed that you want a refund I really wonder if some people really knew anything about this game.

Do you guys not know about no man's sky? I've been hyped for it since they first showed it off at E3 a few years ago. Beyond that I'm actually excited for Call of Duty I don't care what others say. Horizon looks good but won't be out until what March. South Park looks to be just as awesome as the first and then there's god of war. Granted only 3 of those games are set to come out this year but there's some great looking games in development.

My biggest disappointment with the draft was how SmackDown didn't get anything to distinguish themselves. We all know that there's going to be 2 world champions and the US and IC titles would go to different shows but why does Raw need the tag team and women's champions if they're going to get the cruiserweight division too?

WWE also just put up a video of lucha dragons deciding to go there separate ways and enter the draft as singles competitors maybe Bray will have some promo saying something similar like the last time he released Harper and Rowan

How did I know it would be ospreay vs ricochet before even opening it. I'm no Japanese wrestling expert but I wouldn't really call that a Japanese style match. I don't want to come off like Vader or others who are blasting the match but it was way too spotty for me. Don't get me wrong it was great to watch and shows incredible skill and athleticism not to mention how into it the Japanese crowd got I've never seen them get that into a match.

from 04-06 Joe was an undeniable beast arguably the best in the world the only one close to him from that same time frame was Bryan Danielson but he didn't really come into contention until his 06 work still though that was such a great time to be a fan of either promotion

Joe was in TNA before his match with Kobashi. That match actually happened close to the same time as the unbreakable 3 way. Aries was in TNA around the same time as well in 05 just after his first ROH title run ended. And as great as his trilogy with Punk was it still doesn't compare to the attention being on ppv and TV with an arguably national company. I said in my original post Joe and Aries to an extent are homegrown yes a minority of fans may have known of them prior but they became more recognizable as TNA wrestlers.

By that logic nobody TNA could ever sign would be home grown talent unless they sign guys who haven't had a match yet

AJ Daniels AMW may have been in WCW but they didn't have any sort of name or notoriety because of it. Joe and Aries were ROH stars when they were an Indy DVD promotion so they all still count.

But TNA did have homegrown talent AJ styles Christopher Daniels Montey Brown Abyss America's Most Wanted even to an extent guys like Joe and Aries who should have been utilized better. Sure AJ was a multiple time champion and grand slam champion but he was also booked terribly for long stretches of time during his run. There is nothing wrong with bringing in a guy like Angle or the Dudley's they were still crazy over and talented guys who should have been pushed. But Booker T Hall Nash RVD Pope Tomko Matt Hardy Jeff the second time Flair Foley Golddust never shouldn't even been signed. I'll fully admit some guys have been signed from WWE and worked out well but they've wasted so much real talent by focusing on former WWE guys. Also the reason nobody says anything about Jay Lethal in ROH is because he was in ROH before TNA.

That's a relief I didn't see him move at all after that bump after what happened with perro aguayo it was pretty scary.

Damn such a bad break for Enzo and Cass hopefully Enzo is ok.
