1. That's odd since there wasn't any mention of that match at the taping maybe something occurs during the show and it changes.
 2. I just saw a report that Nakamura faces Elias Sampson for the show taped for tonight
 3. Kingster I think you're over thinking this the fact that he is an amateur means nothing he has a name. Punk is a character whether you like or him or not that people are going to pay to see. His actual fighting ability doesn't matter for this fight it's the fact that he is a name that will draw buys which honestly the UFC needs. They've gotten so big but have maybe 3 fighters that are true stars a casual person will have heard of who fight maybe twice a year. Punk won't change that but he will definitely get more eyes on the sport and for those eyes to hopefully latch on to another fighter.
 4.

How does that affect whether or not they can build someone as a bankable star?

Frequency and severity of injuries does not necessarily have anything to do with age. Kevin Nash wasn't all that old when he started becoming injury-prone and Bryan Danielson is only 34, but had to quit wrestling.

The guys previously listed, if they aren't too unlucky, could all easily go for another 10 years.

but being older means your more likely to get injured and be out longer with injuries. when Batista started in WWE he was 35 IIRC and had 3 or 4 injury gaps of around 6 months. Also its hard to build a star when they get injured look at Wade Barrett he almost always gets injured when he starts getting momentum behind a push. No Barrett is not that old but injuries have killed his big opportunities to rebuild his career. I'm not saying that guys like Aries Joe or Nakamura can't be built up into the stars they should be but that being older is a big issue in the WWE and has other affects that are going to probably make them gun shy of them so to speak

 5.

How old was Batista when they started pushing him?

and how many times was Batista sidelined with injuries? Also I don't care how depleted the Roster is there is no way I or most any fans will take Bo Dallas, Heath Slater or Zach Ryder seriously they're so damaged

 6.

I'd be shocked if they'd put him in a co-main event spot or even a main event spot on a PPV. Sure he's got some name value and that's why he was hired in the first place despite his complete lack of mma experience.
But they're not going to put an 0-0 fighter in a pay-per-view main event spot, nor should they. I can see him being on the undercard or headlining the prelims, though.

And Brock Lesnar was in the semi main for his first UFC PPV a 1-0 fighter. Dana isn't stupid a lot of people are going to pay to see Punks first fight the wrestling fans who want to see how he does and all the stuck up haters who want to see him get his ass kicked. Putting him on the undercard or prelims is like throwing money way.

 7. Are fight nights still on free TV? If so no way, Punk is going to have his first fight on pay per view at least in the semi main.
 8. Apparently you either don't remember or are to young but Sable was a manager first for her husband Marc Mero and while she didn't cut promos like Lana OT wasn't Lana's promos that got her so over with the crowd it was how hot she is.
 9. Sable most definitely would get over today especially considering that Lana got over doing nothing but look hot managing Rusev.
 10. Reigns had a great match with Lesnar last year also a great match with the big show at extreme rules nevermind the fastlane match with Daniel Bryan. Also Reigns did not win the rumble this year hence why Triple H is defending against Roman.
 11. Apparently TMZ is reporting that Sting is officially retiring from active wrestling, and he's expected to make a formal announcement at the HOF. Really sucks to see sting go out like that but after the match with Rollins it's not surprising.
 12. My money is on Hulk Hogan coming back to get his heat back for judgment day in 02.
 13. They don't and if anything the way Fox has redone the X-men universe with days of future it makes sense that this colossus is different. Much like deadpool colossus is also much more faithful to his comic book version than anything else put on screen in the past.
 14. Deadpool is one of the best comic book movies ever made. Go see this movie. Also I thought Kung Fu Panda 3 was fun and a nice little cap on the series.
 15. Vince is paying AJ a half million a year if reports are true which is also the reason Vince is personally handling AJ.
 16. if by protecting their asset you mean trying to keep him out of a wheel chair or god forbid another Benoit. If the the word about the tests he took is indeed true and he does try wrestling after his contract is up I will lose all respect for him, though it would be hard to imagine another company taking the risk on him.
 17. While I'm sad to see Bryan's career come to an end I'm happy that he won't continue to do damage to his body by continuing on.
 18. Whoever thinks that Bryan vs Lesnar is a good idea should probably think long and hard about how much they really care about Daniel Bryan. I love the guy but unless he changes how he wrestles he's just going to get hurt again, and a match with Brock at potentially WM he would go all out like usual and almost certainly get seriously hurt. I don't want to see that god bless Daniel Bryan for wanting to put on amazing matches for us but I don't want to see him crippled because of it.
 19. Crownsy you said it yourself Warhawk has blind hatred for regins and nothing he ever does will be acceptable. He could pull a 5 star match out of Kali and Giant Gonzales and warhawk will either say it was still crap.
 20. Unless Bryan is going to tone down his in ring style (which he most likely wont) he needs to suck it up and retire. I've been a Bryan Danielson fan for a decade now but if he's not going think about his personal well being after all the injuries he's had I'm completely behind WWE not letting him wrestle.
 21. I applaud you Russel for that post but your talking to a wall on this subject with warhawk. He's of the same mind as people who blindly hate on Cena for being the top guy. Nothing Regins ever does will be good and any awesome matches he has will he the result of whomever he's working with. On the subject of Roman I was a little surprised at the title change coming so soon but I think it was the best follow up to what happened at TLC. I think it will lead not to a Brock rumble win but a title match at the rumble leaving the door open to possibly elevate someone with a rumble win.
 22. Considering that this feud with Joe has been going since just after Brooklyn where Balor finished his feud with Owens I think you may be missing something. Also it seemed pretty obvious to me that Corbin was going to win since Balor was going to retain. As for Bayley look at how Nia tried pining her after all that punishment. A foot on the chest or just hands on the shoulders is not going to keep a fighter like bayley down. Nia treated her like the squash women she's faced and Barley has more heart and determination. I am with you on Enzo and Cass they are fun but Dash and Dawson have much more to do with the titles.
 23. So long as we get a rematch with Shane o Mac I'd love to see Blackman come back and get the title.
 24. I was actually expecting Roman to end up winning off the cash in as that hasn't been done before and would have been another way of building him up.
