  14. AEW Dynamite Wednesday, Week 2, May 2022 vs. The Undisputed Elite (Young Bucks, Good Brothers & Bobby Fish) vs. The Dark Order (Evil Uno, Stu Grayson, Alan Angels, John Silver & Alex Reynolds) Before the match started, we got a promo with Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly backstage, with Cole talking about this night being the night of the Undisputed Elite, with a 10 man kicking us off, with 2 Owen Hart Cup Quarter Finals later, featuring both himself and Kyle O'Reilly. The Elite worked like a well-oiled machine throughout the match, against the seemingly shellshocked Dark Order, who were still trying to figure out why 10 betrayed them on Rampage. Alan Angels was isolated for big parts of the match, before a chopblock on Bobby Fish allowed him to make a much needed tag out. The tables only turned briefly, as The Young Bucks took back control, working over Alex Reynolds, before putting him down for a 3 count after a Meltzer Driver. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tony Khan stands on the stage, smiling as he announces his latest bit of big news. Mentioning he has a massive, stacked talent roster at his disposal, the best roster in wrestling, and this leads him to announce that after Double or Nothing, we will see a G-1 style tournament on AEW TV, to crown the first ever AEW Trios Champions! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Prior to his match against Kyle O'Reilly, we have a backstage interview with Rey Fenix, alongside Penta, Pac and Alex Abrahantes. Pac has stern words for the Lucha Brothers, saying he wants to go for the new Trios Titles, and Rey has a chance at winning the Owen Hart Cup, but they need to get rid of a hindrance that is holding them back, and that is Abrahantes. The brothers seemingly agree, as they look at Alex and walk away, leaving him alone. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- vs. Owen Hart Cup Quarter Final - Rey Fenix vs Kyle O'Reilly This was a great match, with Kyle using his grappling and strikes to keep Fenix down, but the high flyer soon found a way back into the match, hitting Kyle with some flying kicks. The Mexican however found himself in trouble when he went for a springboard moonsault to the outside, which O'Reilly dodged and Fenix landed awkwardly and tweaked his ankle, something O'Reilly capitalised on, working over that ankle further, before booking his spot in the semi-finals, submitting Fenix with an ankle lock. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Owen Hart Cup Quarter Final - Britt Baker vs. ??? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ATHENA! A shellshocked Britt is instantly on the backfoot as the newest addition to the AEW roster came straight for her from the bell. Athena was really in Britt's head and hit her with the Eclipse, jumping from the top rope to hit Britt with a stunner, unfortunately for her, Rebel was on hand to distract the referee, as Jamie Hayter hit Athena from behind, allowing Britt to sneak a rollup and advance. Athena gets her bearings and stares down the heels yelling into the camera, this isn't over. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eddie Kingston is backstage with LAX (Hernandez & Homicide) and the Dead Presidents (Santana & Ortiz), saying theyre coming for the Jericho Appreciation Society, and he wants Jericho's head. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Scorpio is seen before the match with his Men of the Year tag partner, Ethan Page, asking him to stay backstage and let the best man win. vs. TNT Title - Scorpio Sky vs Frankie Kazarian There was huge mutual respect in the match between the first ever AEW champions. The start of the match was a stalemate, with both men knowing each other so well and countering any offence the other man had. Sammy Guevara tried to interfere in the match but was ousted by both men, Scorpio looked like he might try and take advantage, but stuck to his word and fought fairly, using no heel tactics and seemingly confirming the recent face turn was long term. After a lot of back and forth between the two former partners ended when Scorpio hit Kazarian with a TKO. The two men embraced after the match, in what ended to the surprise of many, in a clean pinfall. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We have a in-ring promo next between AEW World Champion, Hangman Page and his challenger at Double or Nothing, CM Punk. Hangman saying Punk proved he had no fight, with his failed MMA career, and it'll be no different at Double or Nothing. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MJF's music plays before the match, he says if Wardlow can beat his final handpicked opponent, then its 10 lashes straight after. Wardlow enters with security with no music for the final time, and its revealed his opponent is the man formally known as Braun Strowman, the 6'8 385lbs monster, TITAN! vs. Wardlow vs. TITAN MJF tells the security to remove Wardlow's handcuffs as the bell rings, but TITAN blindsides Wardlow before they're removed. TITAN hits Wardlow with a hugely impressive dropkick, a big feat for a man of his size, and then follows it up with a reverse chokeslam, which seemingly breaks the handcuffs, accidentally releasing Wardlow from them. Wardlow then rallies against the bigger man, but is hit with TITAN's finisher, a running powerslam, for a 1 . . . . . . . 2. . . . . . . . KICK OUT! Wardlow kicks out shockingly, before even more shockingly, hoisting up the near 400lber for a F-10! He then signalled for the Powerbomb Symphony, and proceeded to hit TITAN with 3 consecutive powerbombs before pinning the big man. We cut to MJF who vince-esque gulps at the events that just occurred. He gets his bearings back and grabs a mic and instructs security to put the handcuffs back on as Wardlow now has to take his 10 lashings. Wardlow laughs but accepts the situation. MJF and Spears enter the ring and MJF removes his belt and begins the lashings. Wardlow again laughs as he receives his first to fifth lashings, clearly angering MJF. The angered MJF hits him 4 more times in anger, leaving just the one lashing left. Spears sneaks his chair in and smashes Wardlow across the back, but Wardlow shakes his head, basically no-selling it, and snaps out of the handcuffs and grabs Spears and powerbombs him, as MJF slides out of the ring in fear and escapes up the ramp. Wardlow continues the powerbombs until MJF screams at him to stop and says he needs to put the handcuffs back on until his lashings have concluded, and he'll get his 10th lashing next week. Predictions: ctessier197 - 5/6 + Correct Female Joker Old School Fan - 6/6

Owen Hart Cup Quarter Final - Adam Cole vs Dax Harwood Owen Hart Cup Quarter Final - Rey Fenix vs Kyle O'Reilly Owen Hart Cup Quarter Final - Britt Baker vs *JOKER* 10 Man Tag - The Undisputed Elite (Young Bucks, Good Brother & Bobby Fish) vs The Dark Order (Evil Uno, Stu Grayson, John Silver, Alex Reynolds & Alan '5' Angels) CM Punk and Hangman Page set to meet face to face Tony Khan has a massive announcement Who will win each match? Who will MJF handpick to face Wardlow? Will Hangman/Punk get physical? Who will be the female joker? What will Tony's announcement be? 20. AEW Rampage Friday, Week 1, May 2022 vs. Trios Match – The Factory (QT Marshall, Aaron Solow & Nick Comoroto) vs. The Dark Order (Evil Uno, Stu Grayson & 10) The story of this match was the surprise appearance of Shawn Spears on the stage, taking a seat on his favourite accessory, his chair, watching on strangely. This made more sense after Uno and Grayson hit their tag finisher on Solow to win the match. As the Dark Order celebrated, Comoroto came back into the ring and attacked Grayson, and as Uno went to make the save, he was shockingly blindsided by 10, and the two big men continued their assault, before 10 removed his mask, ripped it in half and threw it down as his former friends. The duo walked up the ramp to where Spears was sitting, and shook his hand as he stood up. The three raised one anothers arms as we cut to break. Spears had been speaking about looking out for new members for the Pinnacle.... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- AEW TBS Title – Jade Cargill © w/ Smart Mark Sterling vs. ??? Jade and her manager Smart Mark awaited the surprise opponent for the undefeated prospects next title defense, a familiar theme song sounded for a well known wrestler played, and to Jade's shock, it was a woman who's won many titles over her career . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . MICKIE JAMES! Jade was shocked as the former 10 time world champion made her entrance, and was by far the biggest challenge Jade has had to face in her short career. Mickie's experience shone thru in the match, but the overwhelming distractions from Red Velvet and Kiera Hogan, who has a bit of history with Mickie, led to Jade managing to keep her undefeated record intact and retain her TBS Title -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As we come back from break, Danhausen is standing with a microphone in hand, and requested Hook to join him to answer his question about whether he'd like to join him, but was blindsided by the Gunn Club, Austin and Colten, who have taken a real exception to Danhausen calling them the Ass Boys and how theyve been getting the chants of Ass Boys everytime theyre on TV. Hook made the save and drove away the brothers, before helping up Danhausen, teasing walking away, before shaking the hand of the very nice, very evil man who stood across from him, signalling the formation of a new team on the roster. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- vs. Team DMD (Britt Baker & Jamie Hayter) vs. Toni Storm & Ruby Soho Team DMD started off by working over Ruby, who couldn't see to catch a break, with every hope moment being neutralised but the teamwork of Britt and Jamie. Rebel also got herself involved, pulling Toni off the apron as Ruby looked to tag out, but took a big shot from Toni to floor her with a big forearm shot and leave her lying. When Ruby finally made the tag, Toni ran thru Hayter like she was twice her size, hitting her with suplexes before getting the pinfall with a Storm Zero piledriver as Ruby keeps Britt at bay. This will give Toni and Ruby a big boost going into their individual Owen Hart Cup Quarter Finals. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Andrade made his way to the ring, alongside some members of the AFO, those members being Jora Johl, Jack Evans and Angelico. He speaks about 'family' and how this family doesnt feel like it, and he knows what family really means. He introduced 2 people who he claimed to be his real family, who he's been running with for a long time, and saying the AFO had run its course and he would be releasing the members from his umbrella. The 3 members looked puzzled, and Andrade and his two hooded friends teased an attack, but instead turned and walked towards the back, leaving more questions than answers - Who are the hooded men? What happens with Johl, Evans and Angelico? Where were the rest of AFO? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- vs. Owen Hart Cup Quarter Final - Jeff Hardy w/ Matt Hardy vs. Darby Allin w/ Sting A match which had a lot of respect between the 2 men, who have found themselves teaming up recently on a couple of occassion. It was a real youth vs experience match which had Matt Hardy and Sting on the outside, but both letting the action unfold in a brutal, high octane stuntshow of a match under no-DQ rules. Jeff Hardy had been undefeated in his AEW stint, but that came to an end here as Darby did enough to keep his spot in the Owen Hart Cup, advancing to the semi-finals, where he will face Samoa Joe or the 'joker' after hitting Jeff with a crazy Coffin Drop from the top of a ladder. After the dust was settled and both men were able to stand, they shook each others hands to end the show. Predictions: Old School Fan - 2/4 ctessier197 - 4/4

  23. RoH Wrestling Thursday, Week 1, May 2022 vs. vs. vs. vs. vs. Opening Match - Six-Pack Match - Bandido vs. Blake Christian vs. Alex Zayne vs. Dragon Lee vs. Flamita vs. Rey Horus A highly entertaining and quick-paced opening match, which saw a whole load of high spots and some decent tag work from Bandido and Flamita. Dragon Lee looked exceptional during the match and thought he had the match wrapped up after hitting a Dragon Driver on Rey Horus, but rather heelishly and out of character, Bandido nipped in and forced Lee out of the ring and stole the pinfall. Lee climbed back into the ring after and had a heated staredown with Bandido, nose to nose, before rolling out of the ring and making his way backstage, clearly annoyed at not winning his return match in RoH. Winner - Bandido -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Announced for next weeks show for the main event is a gauntlet match to determine the next contender to Jonathan Gresham for his RoH World Title, featuring only ex-RoH World Champions, with the participants TBA. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- vs. RoH TV Title - Minoru Suzuki © vs. Rhett Titus Rhett Titus asked for a rematch for the belt he recently lost, which would normally be a fair request, but if the champion is Minoru Suzuki, it's definitely not the wisest move. Rhett came out aggressive but was really never going to match Suzuki for aggression, as Suzuki looked like he enjoyed taking some shots before coming back with some big chops on Rhett, leaving his chest looking very nasty. The match didnt last long, with Suzuki proving his win at Supercard of Honor was no fluke, making his first ever USA based title defense with a Gotch Piledriver finishing off Rhett for the 1-2-3. Winner and still RoH Television Champion - Minoru Suzuki After the match, the lights go out, and we see an hourglass timer, which can only mean one thing in the wrestling world, which was confirmed by his name on the screen! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Killer Kross! Who arrived with his wife, Scarlett, and stared towards Suzuki in the ring, in true Suzuki style, instead of being intimidated as most would be with Kross targeting them next, he instead laughed back maniacally! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- vs. Sydal Brothers (Matt & Mike Sydal) vs. OGK (Mike Bennett & Matt Taven) The OGK were flanked as always by Mrs Mike Bennett, Maria Kanellis-Bennett, who is always a nuisance on the outside at all times. The Sydal Brothers would have better chemistry in the match, but the interference of Maria nulified this, allowing the heels to capitalise whenever the Sydal's seemed to put together any kind of offence. The end was pretty spectacular, as Mike Sydal laid out Matt Taven, and his brother went up top for his shooting star splash, but was speared mid-air by the legal man in Mike Bennett for the pinfall victory for the OGK. Winners - The OGK -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- vs. Brian Cage w/ Tully Blanchard vs. Cheeseburger Theres really not much to say about this match, Cheeseburger tried to start off with offence, with a dropkick, but Cage swatted him away like an annoying fly. Cage was just using the match as a showcase for how effortless it was to throw opponents around, Cheeseburger was bumping all over the ring. Cage did a little run through of his signature moves, smashing Cheeseburger with a Tornado Claw Lariat, a huge F5, and finally a Drill Claw for the easy win. Cage is going to be a real threat in the RoH ranks. Winner - Brian Cage -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We get a run down of the AEW Rampage card, coming up on Friday, which will kick off with a 6 man tag match with The Factory taking on The Dark Order, Britt Baker & Jamie Hayter taking on fellow Owen Hart Cup competitors, Ruby Soho and Toni Storm, aswell as a Jade Cargill open challenge for the TBS title and a main event between allies, Darby Allin and Jeff Hardy, in a Owen Hart Cup Quarter Final matchup. We will also see a Hook and Danhausen staredown aswell as Andrade announcing what the future holds for the AFO. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- vs. RoH Undisputed Womens World Title - Deonna Purrazzo © vs. Mercedes Martinez After all the confusion of Deonna winning the title in Impact Wrestling and not being able to defend at Supercard of Honor, leading to Mercedes winning the interim belt, we are finally here to crown the unified, undisputed RoH Womens World champion. AEW Womens World Champion, Thunder Rosa made her way to the ringside area for a first hand look at who will be the wrestler she wants to face at Double or Nothing. The match starts with a handshake, honoring the code of honor. We started with strikes, but Deonna soon realised she couldn't match her bigger opponent, so moved to her more technical side, trying to work on Mercedes' arm, softening her up for her double armbar, which Mercedes' only just struggled to the ropes for a break. Unfortunately for her, the damage was done and despite trying to fight back, Deonna eventually forced a tapout from a Fujiwara Armbar to unify the belts and become the undisputed RoH Womens World champion. Thunder Rosa claps as she enters the ring and stands across from Deonna, they both raise their own titles above their heads, as we end the show. Winner and Undisputed RoH Womens World Champion - Deonna Purrazzo Prediction Scores: Old School Fan - 5/5 CGN91 - 5/5 ctessier197 - 4/5 Thanks for the predictions guys! Close one and 2 perfect scores!
