This is how I feel too. If the auto booker gets fixed as a priority, I’m relatively certain the rest of the changes to the game will be fine for me to adapt to. I’m actually looking forward to getting used to the new push system. I really like it.

I have to agree with this one too. It’s a MASSIVE quality of life issue, I’m surprised this one got through playtesting in all honesty.

Since TEW2010 I've always played a game as RAW for my first dive into the game to try and get the hang of any new features, and TEW2020 is no different. From there I always head to Real World mods once I understand how the game plays. Just booked my first show, went ok. Set-up two title matches for next week: Swoop vs Frogue for the TV Title and the RAW Giants vs God's Gift for the Tag Team Titles.

Ok, now that I've booked a match from scratch (as in, not using the Auto Booker), I see what everyone is talking about using the arrows to move segments. It's really bad, needs to be fixed... how did the playtesters not pick up on this sort of stuff??

Haha RAW is the CVerse promotion I’ve played on every iteration of TEW since 2010 while I cut my teeth on the new rules before heading over to real world mods. I came in here excited to see what you do with the roster (and to steal some ideas I don’t mind admitting), but leave disappointed that you haven’t booked a show yet! Still, looking forward to reading up on this once you do... good luck, man.

Hahahaha my real world mod did the same thing. You just need to edit your default matches so evening gown match isn’t one of them.

Dammit, the auto booker hasn’t been fixed yet and is still unusable in its current form. At the very least all it needs is angle and match lengths to scale to your product and it’ll be perfectly adequate.

Yes, THIS. So much this, this is what we need, can we have this please? The auto booker is my number 1 biggest problem now, but this change would fix the game for me almost entirely!

<p>This is a problem with your mod, not the game, unfortunately. there's no point "turning down" the drug use in the base game if the mods themselves are the issue.</p><p> </p><p> Have you tried playing the Cornellverse to see if the problem still persists?</p>

Do you have any spaces in the folder name? If so, try making it one word.

I think it absolutely does. I used auto booker to book my first ever card and it booked the new age outlaws vs the headbangers in a bra and panties match and a main event of shamrock and mankind vs DX in a lingerie match Pretty sure it’s to do with the default matches in the database

The AI booking DOES look good though, I just booked my own Raw is War and then checked out the AI’s Nitro results and the show looked really good! Even ended with a Ric Flair post-match attack on Curt Hennig after he lost to him. My major gripe is that our own auto booker doesn’t seem to be anywhere near as good as the AI that booked that card. That’s what I need, I don’t really care how the opposition books, I pay little to no attention to the opposition promotions. I need a good auto booker that can do a lot of the heavy lifting for tv shows. I also have to say all this fuss over the UI is a little overblown. It’s not THAT bad, bar a few small teething issues (scroll bars not working properly, no arrow keys etc) which I’m certain Adam will fix.

Ok, I've booked my first show and I have to say the Auto Booker needs a LOT of improvement. I like to lean pretty heavily on Auto Booker to carry me through my TV Shows (I just like to tweak things here or there), but the show that Auto Booker booked for me was just DREADFUL. After the event I look at WCW Nitro and the AI has booked a BRILLIANT show, with interviews, backstage segments and all sorts of great stuff. Why can't our Auto Booker use the same system? Is this possible?

<p>Ok, another minor issue is that the scroll bars don't work as they should. When you click the scroll bar either above or below the scroller, it should go up or down the page in the increment of one full page.</p><p> </p><p> Instead, it only goes up or down one entry, similar to if you only hit arrows at the top or bottom of the scroll bar.</p><p> </p><p> Does this make sense??</p>

Ok, something else I have to point out (which I know has already been mentioned, but just reiterating)… booking angles REALLY needs the View Profile option reinstated, if possible.

Yes, this. So much this. Also, the side bars when you click on them don’t go down a full page, just one entry, makes scrolling very hard. Navigation in general is a bit tough, you used to be able to type letters and it would easily scroll to the worker’s name, now you seem to have to use the search bar at the top. These are just my first impressions in the hour since I’ve downloaded it, Looks good though otherwise, looking forward to sinking my teeth right into this! EDIT: Ok, just saw Adam’s post saying you can change this in options. Should’ve read the whole thread before blindly commenting. Will check it out once I get back to the game.

Nice! How did it pan out? Did the game give you the option to buy them out or did you notice them struggling and just kept attempting to buy them out until they accepted? I've often wondered about that.
