If thats true, its really hard to replicate WWE. A loss for a guy on TV should be extremely minor pop losses and vice versa for a win and pop gains. A win or loss should mean a lot more in PPV.

WWF 1987 im running a weekly show Superstars on NBC. My monthly events are also shown on NBC. Are the pop gains the same on the weekly show as the event? Or no?

9/10 still seems awfully generous at this point. I have no doubts it will get there in time, but right now its about a 7 for me.

Is there any way to work around signing with a company for my show after being dropped for too many bad shows? NBC dropped me from prime time and now I'm being told I can't negotiate with anyone in the U.S. for a year... Side note: This seems entirely unrealistic and I noticed its in TEW 20. How did this not get fixed? If a show was getting 20.0+ ratings week in and week out, wouldn't a lesser broadcasting company want that show? That might not be good enough for NBC in prime time, but surely that's good enough for AMC in the graveyard time slot..........

dude this is awesome. One step closer to buying the game with a couple more fixes from Adam. The 1991 mod was my favorite in 13 and 16.

This is my top hang up too. The one thing at this point that would be a huge improvement over 16 would be AI companies that can actually beat you with good booking. Not looking like that's the case and feel lied to since the developers journal about this improvement.

This. Wrestling Bios on YouTube has awesome 20-25 minute mini documentaries and he covers how the story unfolded in many angles. I listen to one every night and a lot of the time I find myself thinking how I would have changed the booking. How it could have been done better. Also reading the comments on videos like these give you lots of what if scenarios and other ideas you had never heard or thought of from other people really passionate about wrestling like we are.

Its a shame we are having problems with AI booking after being told AI booking was a massive upgrade.

Glad to read in the future update list that Adam posted that he will be changing the booking. If we get the arrow system 16 had, it will be much better.

I like it. Its not a story that has been done a million times over. New things are intriguing even if later on they are considered "wrestlecrap". If I were watching your show, I would think 'at least they're trying to do something different.'

How do I edit the ones the autobooker is using, though? Thats what I'm having trouble with. There are so many angles IDK what the autobook option is going off of.

I hate how my auto booked angles are rated. A promo/interview is rated on microphone. I think it should be entertainment. A skit is rated on overness. Also should be entertainment. A brawl should be rated on overness. Can I change it to these somehow?

Authority figure makes a #1 contender match that Vessey wins. Vessey makes a challenge in a different type of match... one that suits him better. Saying Golden could never beat him in that type of match (cage? Iron man? Best 2 out of 3? Etc) Golden shoots a promo in the ring saying his match with Vessey was one of the best of his career. Asks the crowd if he should give Vessey a rematch. (Crowd cheers, match is made)

Its my feel good show. Most my faces go over here and a lot of feuds end. The rivalries for the past year are put on as the best card. Sure, some heels win, but faces win the most. The show always ends in a "feel good moment." That being said, I'm working up to my first wrestlemania that will finish with a heel winning the championship. He will attack his opponent and another face (returning from injury) will make the save. They will celebrate in the ring...which will be my feel good moment. Side note: I've always thought having a heel win the main event of a season finale should give some sort of penalty. Fans typically do not like this.

I wish DDP was available. I like that combo.

This is just why I delete loyalty in the editor if there is someone I want to sign. That's the one thing I will edit and don't feel its cheating because its actually more realistic like you said.

Like the title says, I have Michael Hayes. He was suspended for a while and in the meantime Terry Gordy left because he is a free lancer. Hayes is back, his contract is coming up and I'd like to have a Fabulous Freebirds team. Buddy Roberts was always my least favorite of the 3 and is 41 currently. I'd like to get someone younger with the "Freebird mentality" to tag with Hayes. My other option would be to have him join Rock N Roll Express as a 3rd member since the gimmick would be somewhat similar. Maybe would involve a heel turn. Thoughts?

<p>I'll use what I've going on in my games as examples...</p><p> </p><p> Savage vs Ventura</p><p> </p><p> Savage has been champion for almost a year. Ventura has been bad mouthing him at every turn from the commentators desk. Savage won at a PPV but Ventura finally snapped and jumped into the ring viciously attacking Savage. Its being told that Ventura is jealous of Savages success. Also this story is to give Ventura one last run as a competitor. </p><p> </p><p> Steamboat vs DiBiase (then Steamboat vs Backlund)</p><p> </p><p> So this goes back about 6 months. Steamboat hired Arnold Skaaland to manage him. DiBiase won the IC championship with Undertaker as his menacing manager (a way to introduce Taker). He has been doing Dibiases dirty work all the way to helping him win the title. Dibiase beat quite a few guys until Steamboat came along. Taker accidently hits Dibiase during their match and Steamboat gets a quick roll up for the win. After the match, Backlund jumps the barrier and attacks Skaaland then an already hurting Steamboat. This story will go into Backlund blaming Skaaland for his world title loss by throwing in the towel all those years ago. (This is a story line I was prepared to do months in advance)</p><p> </p><p> In the tag team division Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson have dominated every other team. They won the titles in a tournament after British Bulldogs were forced to vacate bc Davey Boy failed too many drug tests. So almost a year later, he is back. Arn and Tully have proclaimed they have beat every team in WWF. British Bulldogs music will hit. They will claim they should still be champions and those guys have never beat them. </p><p> </p><p> There is a lot of inspiration in the years of WWF and WCW. Going back and watching videos about past story lines can help give ideas. I'm usually listening to a YouTube video while I play TEW. Its also easier once your game is started and you have something to build off of. The first month or two is the hardest booking imo.</p>
