  1. JULY 2018, WEEK 1… Show Rating: 91 Announce Team: Peter Michaels, Tom Townsend and Adrian Garcia <div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:darkred;border-style:solid;border-width:3px;box-shadow: 0 4px 8px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2), 0 6px 20px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.19)";"> w/ w/ 'The Stud' Christian Price w/ Cameron Vessey [vs] 'The Animal' Edd Stone w/ Tim Westybrook Another excellent outing as the feud between Primed For Progress and Iron and Stone continues to heat up. They will fight at Jeopardy, for Price and Vessey's Tag Team Titles, but tonight, Edd was able to get a leg up and some much needed momentum. For the finish, after Tim Westybrook distracted Price by kicking Vessey in the face, Edd flew off the top rope to deliver his 'Party's Over' finisher! 79 Winner: 'The Animal' Edd Stone w/ Tim Westybrook Finish: 'Party's Over' Elbow Drop </div> Peter Michaels: “Gentlemen, our next match will see Hotstuff in action once again... and they were DUE to take on POISON and Prometheus...!!” Adrian Garcia: “Yes but on social media this week, POISON has decided to pick Aldous Blackfriar to be his partner?!” Tom Townsend: “It's a strange one Garcia... We know Aldous doesn't have Mutant around him right now due to injury, so he really doesn't have much choice but to carry POISON's bags, and do what he says!! But surely he won't be as effective a partner as Prometheus!!” <div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:darkred;border-style:solid;border-width:3px;box-shadow: 0 4px 8px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2), 0 6px 20px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.19)";"> w/ Hotstuff (Jay B & Buff Martinez) [vs] POISON & Aldous Blackfriar w/ Prometheus A great outing for these four workhorses, as Hotstuff continue to impress in NOTBPW. As the announce team predicted, Aldous Blackfriar wasn't as effective as Prometheus would have been. He looked like he didn't even want to be there, and he failed to break up the pin after Buff Martinez hit his 'El K.O' finisher on POISON to score the win! 80 Winners: Hotstuff (Jay B & Buff Martinez) Finish: 'El K.O' (Roundhouse Kick) </div> <div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:darkred;border-style:solid;border-width:3px;box-shadow: 0 4px 8px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2), 0 6px 20px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.19)";"> The Ring Generals (Dean Waldorf & Marv Statler) [vs] The Rebel Pirates (Trent Shaffer & Wade Orson) Trent Shaffer and Wade Orson are very easy to hate. They break the rules at every opportunity, using distractions to allow double teaming and downright cheating! The Ring Generals don't need all of that nonsense. Their in-ring skills are enough to get them through most situations. But tonight, Shaffer and Orson's antics were too much for them! Ernest Youngman stomped to the ring late on, but Shaffer and Orson used it to their advantage again. Orson hit Dean Waldorf with his 'Bounce Back' finisher to win the match! 76 Winners: The Rebel Pirates (Trent Shaffer & Wade Orson) Finish: 'Bounce Back' (Kip Up DDT) </div> Peter Michaels: “Gentlemen, a big win for Orson and Shaffer there!” Adrian Garcia: “They've been in good form lately Michaels... Big wins over Akima Brave and Donte Dunn, and now the Ring Generals!!” Tom Townsend: “But at Jeopardy, they'll be facing an altogether different challenge... Jay B and Buff Martinez: Hotstuff!!” Peter Michaels: “So many teams are trying to jostle for position and gain momentum in the tag team division... Whoever wins that match, will do just that!! Primed For Progress have got to be looking over their shoulders...!!” Tom Townsend: “That's IF they get past Iron and Stone Michaels!!” <div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:darkred;border-style:solid;border-width:3px;box-shadow: 0 4px 8px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2), 0 6px 20px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.19)";"> 'Country Strong' KC Glenn [vs] 'Gentleman' Lord James King A fairly short match, in which both men got their greatest hits in. Lord James King controlled the pace, slowing things down in the middle section, using a brutal looking side headlock. But Glenn was able to create separation. He hit a cross body, and a springboard flying elbow, before putting King away with his 'Tune Up The Sunshine Band'! 69 Winner: 'Country Strong' KC Glenn Finish: 'Tune Up The Sunshine Band' (Brogue Kick) </div> <div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:darkred;border-style:solid;border-width:3px;box-shadow: 0 4px 8px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2), 0 6px 20px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.19)";"> w/ 'The Hillbilly Heartthrob' Solomon Gold [vs] 'The Notorious' Sayeed Ali w/ The CTC Connection There was only ever going to be one winner in this match, but Sayeed Ali didn't exactly have his head in the game here. 'The Notorious' striker clearly wants his NOTBPW TV Title back, and it almost allowed Solomon Gold a way back into it. The youngster is hard to handle, due to his long limbs. But a huge uppercut when Ali got in close was enough to take Gold down. In the end, he won it with the 'GBH Driver'. 77 Winner: 'The Notorious' Sayeed Ali w/ The CTC Connection Finish: 'GBH Driver' (Double Arm DDT) </div> <div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:darkred;border-style:solid;border-width:3px;box-shadow: 0 4px 8px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2), 0 6px 20px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.19)";"> Akima Brave & Donte Dunn [vs] Jacob Jett & Seeker Two teams that don't get along with each other did battle here, but Jacob Jett and Seeker have a lot of experience as a duo. Akima Brave and Donte Dunn have teamed together a few times recently, with varying success, but Brave has never once looked like wanting to work with the always happy Dunn. For the end of this match, Brave decided he didn't want any part of the match, and walked out of it, throwing his hands up in the air dismissively. Dunn's smile turned to a look of shock, but he was even more shocked when Seeker kicked him in the side of the head from the apron! Jacob Jett admonished Seeker for his actions, but Seeker too threw his hands into the air, and walked off!! This left the two fan favourites Dunn and Jett to fight it out 1 on 1, but it wasn't much of a fight. Dunn had been in the ring a long time, and he soon fell victim to the 'Emergency Landing'. 91 Winners: Jacob Jett & Seeker Finish: 'Emergency Landing' (450 Splash) </div> Peter Michaels: “Well there we have it gentlemen... A big win for the team formerly known as World's Most Wanted!!” Adrian Garcia: “They had it easy in the end though Michaels... Donte Dunn spent over 90% of the match in the ring, and then got kicked right in the side of the head by Seeker before Jacob Jett put him away!!” Tom Townsend: “I agree... Akima Brave walking out on Dunn won't have done his chances of landing a spot on Team DeColt/Montero any good... But Dunn's bravery will have helped his cause!!” Peter Michaels: “All that's left to say now folks is stay safe, and we'll see you next week... Where Steve DeColt and Gino Montero... and James Hernandez... will complete their Maple Leaf Mayhem teams!!” Edd Stone [def.] Christian Price Hotstuff [def.] POISON & Aldous Blackfriar The Rebel Pirates [def.] The Ring Generals KC Glenn [def.] Lord James King Sayeed Ali [def.] Solomon Gold Jacob Jett & Seeker [def.] Donte Dunn & Akima Brave Tommy Cornell defeated Joss Thompson in a 99 rated lower card match at USPW's Independence Day episode of their weekly television show... Fantastic work from both former 21CW employees!! Not to be outdone, Remo beat Sean McFly in a 100 rated Main Event from the Independence Day Slam pay-per-view!! PGHW answered USPW's two incredible matches by having Seiji Jimbo go over Kozue Kawashima in a 99 rated match at their recent Wasteland Tour show!! Federique Antonio Garcia also beat Sammy Bach in a 99 rated Main Event on SWF TV this week... How will NOTBPW respond to all these amazing ratings next week?! USPW were in the news again later in the week, as they announced the signing of Joanne Rodriguez!! The 39 year old comes to the company with 100 Star Quality
  2. Thanks for this guys. I for one hope NXT stays on the WWE Network! Apologies for the delay in posting shows. I've taken a little break from writing to avoid burn out. Summer Smash was taking some time to write, so I just stopped for a bit. I have the next seven shows fully written out though, so I'm not falling behind or anything I do keep getting a hankering to start a new WWE (Three Brands) save... But with the new game around the corner, I'm not sure the timing is right. I think if I was to do it, the Draft would be the perfect time to take the helm (and do the draft my own way). I'd probably completely mix the three brands up. In my opinion, bleeding NXT into RAW and Smackdown would freshen up all three shows!! Johnny Gargano vs The Feind. Velveteen Dream vs Randy Orton. Tommaso Ciampa vs Seth Rollins. AJ Styles vs Matt Riddle. Charlotte vs Shayna Baszler. There is SO much you could do that's never been done before with three 'equal' brands. Anyway, I'm rambling again, apologies. <div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:darkred;border-style:solid;border-width:3px;box-shadow: 0 4px 8px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2), 0 6px 20px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.19)";"> < < QUICK PICKS for NOTBPW: Championship Wrestling, JULY 2018, WEEK 1… > > 'The Stud' Christian Price [vs] 'The Animal' Edd Stone Hotstuff (Jay B & Buff Martinez) [vs] POISON & Aldous Blackfriar The Ring Generals (Dean Waldorf & Marv Statler) [vs] Rebel Pirates (Wade Orson & Trent Shaffer) 'Country Strong' KC Glenn [vs] 'Gentleman' Lord James King 'The Hillbilly Heartthrob' Solomon Gold [vs] 'The Notorious' Sayeed Ali Donte Dunn & Akima Brave [vs] Jacob Jett & Seeker </div>
  3. <p>While I'm here, does anyone know the answer to a couple of questions I had...?</p><p> </p><p> How do I now watch NXT in the UK!? I usually watch it on the Network anyway, but I wonder if anyone knows if it'll eventually go exclusively to the USA Network?</p>

So many things i have enjoyed, such as Gargantuan's massive undefeated streak. Edd Stone's heel run. Everything with the Delay's/Alex Decolt and the secret and so much more. <p> </p><p> Never played NOTBPW (big TCW fan here)before but this diary is making me get the itch and adjusting the product some like yourself, so Kudos on that!</p><p> </p><p> Just two questions though after each month you put up the current pushes for your roster and the alignments. Do you actually play with the heel/face divide off and just tell us their alignments for our own knowledge? and Why does your roster stop after the midcard? do you not use lower cards and manually push everyone to mid card to avoid penalties or do you just feel like they since they are lower card guys you don't need to show them?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Hey man, thanks for taking the time to comment. I really appreciate the feedback on those stories. DaLays/Alex/Logan and Gargantuan's streak are two of the biggest and most fun I've ever written... They've both ended badly for various reasons, but there we go <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> That's wrestling I guess!</p><p> </p><p> I play with the face and heel divide very much <span style="text-decoration:underline;"><strong>on</strong></span>. I believe in good guys and bad guys as the best way to tell a story. I'm currently 2 hours into RAW this week for example, and [**SPOILERS IN WHITE**] <span style="color:#FFFFFF;">Cesaro has mentioned how much he loved Brock for attacking Rey and Dominic... Ricochet stuck up for Rey and Dom, and it lead to a match between Cesaro and Ricochet. A match we've seen before, but a reason to HAVE the match!! The only thing I'd have done differently, is have Ricochet challenge Cesaro to a match for NEXT WEEK!! That way, we have a week to look forward to it, and the story moves on without either of them wrestling, and one of them losing. Which leads to over exposure, and Cesaro being perceived as not being able to beat anyone! NXT does this SOOOO well. </span> [**END OF SPOILERS**] Anyway, sorry for the ramble. Most of that was slightly off topic. Don't read it if you haven't seen RAW!!</p><p> </p><p> The midcard thing is a good question. I just class all mid, lower, openers and </p><p> enhancement talent as the same level. Rather than have a page with two enhancement talents on it (possibly forever). 6. JUNE 2018, WEEK 4... Show Rating: 90 Announce Team: Peter Michaels, Tom Townsend and Adrian Garcia <div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:darkred;border-style:solid;border-width:3px;box-shadow: 0 4px 8px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2), 0 6px 20px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.19)";"> 'The Man Without Fear' Sonny Wildside [vs] 'The Saviour of Wrestling' Jonathan Faust Two great athletes close to the Main Event scene doing battle here. Sonny Wildside doesn't fear anything, but Jonathan Faust gave him a lot to think about. 'The Saviour of Wrestling' knows how to control an opponent using headlocks and take-downs. But eventually, Wildside exploded into life. He hit a few flying kicks, and finally the 'Fear Factor' after a back and forth fight. 80 Winner: 'The Man Without Fear' Sonny Wildside Finish: 'Fear Factor' Moonsault Stomp </div> Peter Michaels: “Gentlemen... I have some news right now... Two odd couples will do battle next week!! Akima Brave and Donte Dunn, who we just saw, do NOT get along... But they'll be taking on a former duo, who get on even LESS!! Jacob Jett will team up with his big rival Seeker!!” Adrian Garcia: “My goodness Michaels!! What a MATCH that'll be!! They're evenly matched, but not only that, NONE of them get along!!” Tom Townsend: “I'm looking forward to seeing how Seeker is going to screw over Jacob Jett... It's what he does best!!” <div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:darkred;border-style:solid;border-width:3px;box-shadow: 0 4px 8px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2), 0 6px 20px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.19)";"> w/ 'The Iron Fist' Dan DaLay [vs] 'Notorious' Sayeed Ali w/ The CTC Two fantastic workers, who showed all of their skills in this match. Dan DaLay used his power and size edge to keep Sayeed Ali on the back foot, while Ali used his friends: the Coast To Coast Connection, to keep DaLay preoccupied. For the finish, a distracted DaLay would look for his 'DaLay Down' headbutt, but Ali sprung out of his clutches. The 'Notorious' New Yorker was then able to deliver his 'Uppercut Palm Strike', and knock DaLay out! 82 Winner: 'Notorious' Sayeed Ali w/ The CTC Finish: 'Uppercut Palm Strike' </div> <div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:darkred;border-style:solid;border-width:3px;box-shadow: 0 4px 8px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2), 0 6px 20px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.19)";"> The John Maverick Retirement Tour 'The Silent Threat' John Maverick [vs] 'Gentleman' Lord James King John Maverick remained in the ring after helping Dan DaLay, and got set to take on his former tag team partner Lord James King. Maverick and LJK had an even fight for much of the match, but again Logan DeColt and Robin DaLay made their presence known! Dan DaLay headed out, but he was double-teamed by the Sons Of Anarchy. Maverick and the referee paid attention to the fight outside the ring, and King was able to add brass knucks to his fists! He hit the 'Power Of The Punch', and this time Maverick was knocked out! 63 Winner: 'Gentleman' Lord James King Finish: 'Power Of The Punch' </div> <div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:darkred;border-style:solid;border-width:3px;box-shadow: 0 4px 8px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2), 0 6px 20px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.19)";"> w/ w/ 'The Second Generation Superstar' Cameron Vessey w/ Christian Price [vs] 'The Enforcer' Tim Westybrook w/ Edd Stone An excellent contest, between two tag team specialists here. Cameron Vessey and Tim Westybrook are both experienced competitors, and they told a great story out there. They had help from Christian Price and Edd Stone at ringside, but it was the big 'Enforcer' Westybrook who made the difference. His size and strength was hard for Vessey to handle, but he made a good showing of himself. Vessey handled Westybrook by staying away from him, sticking and moving, and using his quickness. In the end though, Vessey displayed previously unseen levels of power himself, when he hit the 'Vessey Driver II' on big Tim Westybrook!! 87 Winner: 'The Second Generation Superstar' Cameron Vessey w/ Christian Price Finish: 'Vessey Driver II' (Package Piledriver) </div> Peter Michaels: “Gentlemen, a fantastic match between Vessey and Westybrook there... But next week, their partners will do battle 1 on 1!!” Adrian Garcia: “Yeah Christian Price and Edd Stone are no strangers to one another, and they'll get their ninth match in the same ring, at the same time, next week...” Tom Townsend: “Their TENTH match, will be at Jeopardy... As Primed For Progress, defend their NOTBPW Tag Team Titles, against Iron and Stone!!” <div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:darkred;border-style:solid;border-width:3px;box-shadow: 0 4px 8px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2), 0 6px 20px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.19)";"> Steve DeColt & Gino Montero [vs] The CanAm Blondes As co-team captains for Maple Leaf Mayhem, Steve DeColt and Gino Montero need to make sure they gel well. Opposing them will be James Hernandez, and his good friend Aaron Andrews, as well as presumably Faith Enterprise members Spencer Spade and Luis Montero Jr, who get on very well. It's a five man team, but one bad apple can make a big difference. Luckily for Steve and Gino, their budding friendship grew due to a mutual hatred of the CanAm Blondes. The Natural and Owen Love acted like jerks throughout the match, and didn't endear themselves to anyone, least of all the fans in attendance. For the finish, Steve DeColt blasted The Natural in the face with his 'DeColt Stampede' Big Boot, and Gino Montero was able to hit Love with his unstoppable 'Destiny Explosion' finisher! 89 Winners: Steve DeColt & Gino Montero Finish: 'Destiny Explosion' (Canadian Destroyer) </div> Peter Michaels: “So Steve DeColt and Gino Montero getting on well gentlemen!!” Adrian Garcia: “Yeah for now Michaels... But don't forget, Steve previously accused Gino of being the man who attacked him at Super Slam...!!” Tom Townsend: “It's an interesting time to be a DeColt and a Montero guys... Join us next week as the two Maple Leaf Mayhem teams continue to take shape...” Sonny Wildside [def.] Jonathan Faust Sayeed Ali [def.] Dan DaLay Lord James King [def.] John Maverick Cameron Vessey [def.] Tim Westybrook Steve DeColt & Gino Montero [def.] The CanAm Blondes USPW have become the first company in this universe to rise to International Size! This could be a huge blow to National companies PGHW, SWF and SOTBPW... and of course NOTBPW, who thought they were going to be the first!! The rise comes after a Match of the Year candidate between Tommy Cornell and Steve Frehley on USPW TV this week!! USPW have already made a big impact since the rise, by signing manager and colour commentator Emma Chase from SWF, as well as NOTBPW veteran John Maverick!! PGHW have responded with TWO 99 rated matches at their recent show... Chojiro Kitoaji defeated Kozue Kawashima in the co-Main Event... and then to end the show, Yoshimi Mushashibo bested Seiji Jimbo!! Following the announcement of the affair between Alex DeColt and Victoria Stone-McFly, the mainstream media paid a lot of close attention to the DeColts and the Stones... Particularly the youngest brothers Ricky (DeColt) and Edd (Stone)... Ricky is currently filming Marvel Cinema's latest Avengers movie, while Edd's partying antics have landed him multiple spreads in magazines and appearances in short videos online... Such is the interest in Edd, he's now been commissioned for his own Reality TV series... 'Being Stoned' begins filming as early as next week...!! More mainstream coverage for the stars of NOTBPW...

Blockbuster isn't on Jack DeColt's level, but a lengthy reign as Champion will help grow him. CGC Tag Team Title: DaLay & Son vs The Gear-Heads © I'm going against my gut here, due to you confessing your undying love for Dan DaLay. The two brawlers worked well together at times, but Jay B and Buff Martinez have been teaming up for over 12 years. 11. I asked Triple I to go up in size in my save and his Star Quality, which was already growing slowly, shot up from 78 to 85. If he had that kind of success with you he'd easily be in your top five SQ surely? And then all you'd need to do is build his popularity slowly.
  12. Steve DeColt handed book by Jeremy Stone!! NOTBPW Principle Owner Jeremy Stone recently fired both Alex DeColt, and his own sister Victoria Stone-McFly... Vic was the head booker for the company, and Jeremy has now offered the job to Alex's own brother Steve DeColt!! Thoughts are this was a show of respect for Steve, and a show of solidarity between the two legendary Canadian Families... However, politics aside, Steve is a GREAT choice for head booker... He wanted the job back in CGC, when Alex took over the company as its owner... ________ Dan DaLay offered big money move to join Alex and Victoria's new company!! Following on from last months announcement that John Maverick was considering an offer from Alex DeColt and Victoria Stone-McFly to join their new company... Alex's best friend Dan DaLay has also been contacted!! The veteran big heavyweight's contract is due for renewal soon, and thoughts are NOTBPW won't be offering a long deal, or a big one... More on this developing story as we get it!! ________

  15. Then you should enjoy at least some of my plans... !! I wonder if any of you spotted the hidden 'Easter Egg' in the Mid Summer Madness Poster...?! The 'Gino Montero' pic is repeated behind him in both directions, but the far right one, next to James Hernandez, is actually Luis Montero Jr.!!
  16. Jacob Jett [def.] Thrill Seeker and Sayeed Ali to WIN the NOTBPW Television Title Jett and Seeker are the MVPs of my tag team division in truth. World's Most Wanted were an incredible team, and they won Championships and Ed Henson Cups. Their split was always going to be big for both of them. You could have a Shawn Michaels, and a Marty Jannetty (or however you spell it) situation, where one becomes the star, and one is forgotten. But I'd like to think I can build them both as singles stars. I always liked them both. As for Sayeed Ali, he has a bright future here. I'm currently trusting him to develop Lenny Brown and Ross Henry. He needs to help them both turn into future stars of the company. He's a hardcore fighter, who would have been the star of the hardcore division of the late 90s/early 00s in WWF/E. He wants every match to have no rules. It suits him. But I love that he can still wrestle properly. Like his bio says: "a very underrated worker who is capable of putting on excellent 'straight' wrestling matches too; he proved this when he represented 4C in the 2013 Rip Chord Invitational tournament held by MAW, having two excellent hard-hitting matches without any hardcore content." Logan DeColt & The CanAm Blondes [def.] Sonny Wildside & The DaLays My roster is a little bloated, so I'll be thinning it out in the coming weeks and months, using Alex DeColt and Victoria Stone-McFly's new company as an 'excuse' to trim the fat a little. It's safe to say that three of these guys are not my future, due to their age, and the fact they're on the time decline list. The other three are young, but I'm still trying to work out if they're the future of the company, or if they're destined to always be in the mid card. A run as a tag team could be great for Robin DaLay and Logan DeColt. The Sons Of Anarchy bring the best out of each other, and I think they'll learn lots from working together. It could be hard to book Logan properly now that his 'Father' Alex is gone! Spencer Spade [def.] KC Glenn to WIN the NOTBPW All Action Title I'm in absolutely no doubt that these two ARE the future of NOTBPW. If they formed a tag team, they'd be the best young tag team in wrestling, but I'm going to book them as 'forever rivals'. By that I mean they will always be in a feud of some kind as opponents. Right now it's over the All Action Title, but in two years it could easily be over the Canadian Title. I can't think of a real life example, but maybe Chris Jericho and Kurt Angle?! They began by feuding over the Intercontinental Title, but were never far from being opponents. I may mix things up with these two. Potentially a run in the Ed Henson Cup as a TEAM, or something like that. Aaron Andrews [def.] Dan Stone Jr. I said to myself at the start that I was going to use Dan, Jeremy, Alex, and other non-wrestlers that can still go, very sparingly. I think I've done that. Dan's had 9 matches. Jeremy just 3 matches. Alex only 6. That's in 2 and a half years. Most of Dan's came in the first Ed Henson Cup, teaming with Duane to defeat World's Most Wanted, then The CanAm Blondes, and then losing to Jack and Ricky DeColt in the finals!! Alex has gone now, but Dan and Jeremy can still very much compete in the ring. Especially since Dan is my user character, has amazing popularity, and is better than most of my roster!! Aaron Andrews needed something different to do, to keep him away from the World Title scene. I know a lot of you want him to be Champion, which is great, but he's supposed to be a chickens**t heel that you all hate! Haha! I'll work on it. Primed For Progress [def.] Mayhem, POISON & Prometheus, and Iron & Stone to RETAIN the NOTBPW Tag Team Titles Tag Team division has been hard to book ever since Jacob Jett and Owen Love got taken out on the same night and missed six months. This was a year ago, but it shook the division, and it's taken me a long time to build it back up. I had Primed For Progress, World's Most Wanted and the CanAm Blondes, all at the top of their game. Not to mention the Ring Generals and one or two others. It wasn't until I booked this match that I realised how similar the three sets of challengers are: Big guy and charismatic little guy!! Expect to see some change in the ranks in the coming weeks and months. I need to keep this division fresh. Hotstuff will help with that. They've always been a personal favourite of mine, and their run in developmental and 21CW has helped their popularity tremendously. They come in to the company as the 3rd most over tag team, with 100 experience!! Steve DeColt [def.] Gargantuan Probably the most controversial of the night. I decided I wanted to have Gargantuan go on this most unbelievable unbeaten run, including a Canadian Title reign, and it was fun to book. But it got stale towards the end. He'd have a match with a babyface. Win, and then beat them again in the re-match. I was recycling the same old storyline every time a new challenger emerged. So I decided to give him some time off. The problem was I then didn't have a Steve DeColt match for the biggest show of the year, so I rolled Gargantuan out again, WITH his new manager Floyd Goldworthy, and he lost again!! More time off for 'The Monster', but I have a rough plan of where and when he'll return. Jack DeColt [def.] Tom Gilmore My favourite storyline right now is Jack and Gilmore! Jack is able to bring out Tom's 'Angry' side because he's a 'Wild Man' himself. However Jack is also a heel, who knows how to push people's buttons. He got Tom to come out of 'retirement'; a story which by design keeps me from using Gilmore in TV matches very often now. In fact, between the DeColt Wrestle Festival and Jeopardy, he had just four matches. All on pay-per-view!! He appeared on every show in some form, but only wrestled on ppv!! Since Jeopardy, I've written two TV matches for him, but they're both big matches. I like finding ways to keep my top guys away from the World Title. Only to have them BOTH feel worthy of a Title shot, and a Title reign once the feud comes to a climax! James Hernandez [def.] Gino Montero to RETAIN the NOTBPW Canadian Title Another controversial one, for many reasons. I think I've played you all well really. Breaking kayfabe for posts like this, but only telling you what I want you to know. I NEVER mentioned that El Fuego was Luis Montero Jr., but during the six month run under the mask, a number of you mentioned you thought it might be him. He debuted the show after Luis got fired :D I set myself the challenge of making you all forget it was him and I think I got most of you!! At first, I just jobbed him out. Thinking you'd peg him for an undercard worker like Sin Cara. Since Super Slam, I've made the El Fuego character more relevant. He was the 'Iron Man' in the Rumble Match, and has obviously joined up with Faith Enterprises. A nice match with KC Glenn, and a simmering rivalry within F.E. with Spencer Spade, and he's got a lot going on. His arrival in this match, and costing his own brother his first NOTBPW Canadian Title is a horrible thing to do to his own flesh and blood, and he may pay the ultimate price now. He's not going anywhere though. He's super talented between the ropes As for Gino Montero and James Hernandez, they're the MVPs of my entire roster, and so it was only fitting to have them Main Event the biggest show of the year. As someone said, Gino now has a stable to 'work his way through' before ultimately getting a re-match for the Title. If Hernandez's run is as good as his TV Title run, he'll still be Champ by the time Gino is through with his rivals. But then again, NOTBPW is now DeColt country. Both Steve and Jack are due a Title shot, and Ricky's movie won't be filming forever!! Hernandez has a lot of challengers to fend off... With more talent in the roster than ever before!!

Sayeed Ali loves a match with no rules, but he has a habit of surprising his opponents and the crowd by mixing things up. For the first few minutes, Ali was happy to let the heated rivalry of Jacob Jett and Seeker boil over in the ring, while he waited outside of it. He took the opportunity to set up his work space. Like a surgeon placing his tools out, 'Notorious' Sayeed Ali laid weapons around the ring and then grabbed Seeker by the leg and dragged him out under the bottom rope. Ali began to work his way through his chosen weapons: Kendo Stick, Baseball Bat, and then a powerbomb through a Table! Ali then turned his attention to Jacob Jett. The Kendo Stick was successful, but when Ali picked the Baseball Bat up, 'The Amazing' Jacob Jett was able to charge at Ali and hit a double dropkick. Ali hit hard against the ring post, and Jett hopped up to the top rope!! From the top turnbuckle, to the FLOOR, Jett delivered his 'Jett Take Off' Double Stomp, cracking Ali's ribs and driving all the wind out of the Television Champion's lungs! Seeker had recovered at this point, and he and Jett continued their fight. Their rivalry is full of hatred, and it showed with how hard they were hitting each other. For the finish, Seeker was attempting a superplex, and Ali managed to get back into the ring. Jett shoved Seeker backwards, and he landed ON Ali! But all six men chose not to follow those rules. At multiple times, all six of them were fighting, and the referee did a good job of regaining control. However, for the last few minutes it was chaos. Dan DaLay headbutted everyone in sight, and knocked The Natural clean out on the outside of the ring!! Robin DaLay was taken down by Owen Love's 'Love Gun' Sidewalk Slam in the ring, but Sonny Wildside broke the pin up!! Logan DeColt could only watch as Wildside delivered his 'Fear Factor' Moonsault Stomp to Love, but he was able to stop Wildside winning. It was Dan DaLay and Wildside versus Logan 2 on 1 at the finish. The two fan favourites surrounded Logan, as Robin DaLay even rose to his feet to make it 3 on 1! KC Glenn and Spencer Spade have very similar skill sets, but what perhaps sets them apart is the influence of Spade's manager: Faith. She was influential at two very important moments in this match. First, when KC Glenn had created space and was looking for his 'Tune Up The Sunshine Band' Brogue Kick, Faith hopped up onto the apron! Glenn was distracted, and even swiped at Faith, forcing her to jump down. Spade then took advantage, and gained some control. Glenn is an exceptional chain and mat wrestler though, and he was able to take Spade down again. But a collision of heads sent Spade flying backwards and the point of his elbow caught the referee above his eye. Faith came into her own again, when she climbed on the apron, and pointed at the stage. She then seemed to call someone out to the ring, and that man arrived!! Her other client: El Fuego ran to the ring. After an even fight, the masked Mexican hit a spinning kick to the back of Glenn's head. Dan Stone Jr. is officially retired from in-ring competition, but at the age of just 45, he still has a lot in the tank. He's only fought in 9 matches in 3 years, so on one hand, he could be considered as 'fresh'. He could also be considered 'rusty', and as the match began it was certainly the former. Stone dominated 'Ace' in the early stages, throwing the young bad guy around the ring and using his size and power. But Andrews is crafty, and he soon hit a low chop block that looked like it twisted Dan's ankle. From that point onwards, Stone could barely walk around the ring, let alone hit any offence. For the finish, with Stone hobbling and finding it hard to get to his feet, Andrews put him down like a wounded animal. Ace put Stone out of his misery, by kicking his boss in the head. The big man didn't let it phase him though, and he was soon back on the attack. Gargantuan gained control of the match from then on, using his immense power, but he was still having a little trouble with the shoulder he crashed into the post with! Steve knew about the injury, but knowing about it was one thing, doing anything about it was another! Steve fell into the cover, and Gargantuan couldn't kick out! 84 Winner: 'The Outsider' Steve DeColt Finish: 'DeColt Stampede' Big Boot </div> Peter Michaels: “I never thought I'd see the day gentlemen... Gargantuan went 27 plus months undefeated... and now he's lost TWO in a row!!” Adrian Garcia: “I can't believe it... Even bringing in Floyd Goldworthy hasn't helped... Two big matches, two defeats, and...” Tom Townsend: “Wait a minute guys... What's this now?!” Peter Michaels: “Chaos!! Was it Spencer Spade all along?! Did he grab Steve DeColt in the Super Slam Rumble...?!” Adrian Garcia: “If he did, then he cost Steve not only the match, but also a shot at the NOTBPW Canadian Title!!” Tom Townsend: “Steve is going to FLIP!! The DeColts can be angry, vindictive men, and he'll be out for revenge on Spencer Spade... That kid only just got here!!” <div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:darkred;border-style:solid;border-width:3px;box-shadow: 0 4px 8px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2), 0 6px 20px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.19)";"> Incredible match, and Match of the Night between these two 40+ year old veterans. Jack DeColt smashed into Tom Gilmore with a shoulder tackle to start the match, and walked around the ring with his arms outstretched as Gilmore pulled himself together. The usually 'Angry' Gilmore was unusually calm, and almost looked like he hadn't wrestled for years. The brawler Jack was cocky, and poked at Gilmore. He tested the Canadian veteran's resolve, trying to goad him into exploding. It didn't take long for this tactic to have the desired effect, because Gilmore came to life and delivered a brutal forearm to the face! It was a brawl from then on. Something that suited Jack more than it did Gilmore. 'The Wild Man' loves to get down and dirty, and use his fists. Gilmore held his own out there, and stayed in the fight. He was getting more and more 'Angry' as the match went on. He wasn't just goaded for a few minutes tonight, he's been goaded for weeks by Jack DeColt, and all of that aggression boiled over into this fight! For the finish, Jack decided he needed to resort to using a weapon, and he grabbed a chain from under the ring. Prior to this month, Jack hadn't used his trusty chain for years, but here it was, at Mid Summer Madness!! With Gilmore down and recovering in the corner, 'The Wild Man' began to wrap his fist in the chain, ready to deliver the knock out punch! The referee saw the chain though, and grabbed Jack by his huge bicep! Jack had to stop mid-flow, and was furious. The referee threw the chain, and it landed in the corner of the ring, so he went over to kick it out under the bottom rope. While his back was turned, Gilmore ran at Jack, and the crafty DeColt Brother used a thumb to the eye!! He then hit 'End Of Days' as the referee turned around, and pinned his veteran opponent!! 95 Winner: 'Wild Man' Jack DeColt Finish: 'End Of Days' (Baron Corbin's finisher) </div> Peter Michaels: “John Maverick just saved Tom Gilmore from a certain beatdown gentlemen...!” Adrian Garcia: “He was in real trouble there Michaels... Jack DeColt would have hit him with that chain and sent him into next week!” Tom Townsend: “Yeah and on that evidence this rivalry is FAR from over... The problem Gilmore has is that John Maverick's contract is about to expire... He won't have this kind of help much longer...” <div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:darkred;border-style:solid;border-width:3px;box-shadow: 0 4px 8px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.2), 0 6px 20px 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.19)";"> Another truly epic encounter to end the show. Since becoming NOTBPW Canadian Champion, Gino Montero has competed in eight matches, and six of them have had a rating of 90 or above! His in-ring work has gone to that next level, and he's been able to put the NOTBPW roster on his back, and carry them to amazing shows! James Hernandez is another very watchable performer. He's been averaging the high 80s recently too, and he more than held his own in there against the exceptional Mexican. The first portion of the match was very even, with both men getting their fair share of offence in. James Hernandez took a lot of punishment, but he was able to deliver some too, not least a brutal knee strike that sent Gino back-pedalling into the ropes and eventually through them and to the floor outside! Gino was in trouble, and the announce team cited a potentially broken nose. But Hernandez didn't allow the cameras to see, nor the referee to check on the Champion. Instead, Hernandez sensed a weakness, and zeroed in on the Champ's face! He used nasty looking crossface shots and a vicious reverse chin-lock, which a lesser man would have tapped out to. But the 'Magnificent' Montero refused to give up. He was able to create a moment of separation following making it to the ropes to break the hold, and then delivered his roundhouse kick, which stunned 'Mr. Main Event'! This time Hernandez fell out of the ring, but he was lucky he did, because had he stayed inside, he may have been pinned by Gino! Then all of a sudden, a commotion began breaking out in the crowd, and 'The Supreme' Spencer Spade was shown attempting to once again invade the ring! The referee called for help from backstage to deal with Spade, and a few more referees headed out to the ring. On the other side of the ring though, this man arrived: El Fuego! The masked Mexican who helped Spencer Spade win the All Action Championship earlier tonight climbed up onto the apron of the ring! Spade and Fuego are both members of the faction: Faith Enterprises, and they have never gotten along, until tonight. With no referee to stop him, Fuego delivered a move that should be very familiar to Gino Montero! The move made famous by his brother Luis Montero Jr.: a Flying Forearm! Gino was knocked out, and El Fuego stood over the fallen hero. Then to the shock of everyone in the arena, the masked luchador slowly began to remove his mask! El Fuego WAS Luis Montero Jr.!! And he just knocked out his own Brother!! James Hernandez was back in the ring now, and he looked stunned, as Luis made a quick exit before the referee could see what had unfolded!! Hernandez waited for his opponent Gino Montero to climb back to his feet using the ropes, and then unleashed with his unstoppable 'Apparition #14' Spear finisher!! Soon after that, Edd came off the top rope to deliver the 'Party's Over' Elbow Drop.</div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-size:18px;"> 82 </span></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong> Winner: </strong></div><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"> 'The Animal' Edd Stone w/ Tim Westybrook</div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong> Finish: </strong></div><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"> 'Party's Over' Elbow Drop</div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><p></p><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"> </div></span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"> </span></p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="45312" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><strong> Logan Walks On The Wildside </strong></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><img alt="DvMqiS9.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/DvMqiS9.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="YgbZl9s.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/YgbZl9s.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Nx1U4Qa.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Nx1U4Qa.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="XP70MSR.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/XP70MSR.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Following the conclusion of the match, Dan DaLay was attacked by Logan DeColt, Owen Love and The Natural!!</div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> The CanAm Blondes have taken Logan under their wing of late, and he lead them in a beat down of one of their Mid Summer Madness opponents!!</div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><img alt="IvyHiqr.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/IvyHiqr.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> It didn't take long for Dan DaLay's son Robin to run out, attempting to make the save... They could all have done without a 'tune up' match, for risk of not going into their matches at 100%. But Andrews and Hernandez made sure they weren't hurt by controlling Cameron Vessey. The 'Second Generation Superstar' was in all kinds of trouble, but he somehow made the tag to Christian Price. Price came in like a bull in a china shop. He knocked over everything that moved, and changed the momentum. He hit his 'Stud Stopper' Stunner on Aaron Andrews as he looked to close in on the victory. 24. Thanks chaps. Yeah Gino/Hernandez/Ace are three of my top guys right now, and they're taking up the slack from the DeColts well. Ricky is off making his movie, while Steve is in the time decline. Alex was a silly boy, and is now starting his own company. Jack will soon be the only top level DeColt on the roster.
