  2. Thank you, kanegan! That's really a great praise in a forum where people like Eisen-verse are around doing their visually incredibly impressive stuff!

CWA let him go six months into my long-term save, but I'm a big fan of his, so I'd love an 'Indian Summer' type push for him!</p><p> </p><p> Loved seeing Price and Vessey team up. It's been a pleasure to write it, and I'm quite happy with the format I've come up with. I think its visual quality is consistent with the posts I've made before, and I wanted to keep the segments relatively short while not making them feel irrelevant. I hope you like this approach - if there's anything you're not happy with or that you'd like to see improved, please tell me!</p></p><p> </p><p> <p>Most of you predicted a Ricky DeColt victory, which was definitely more likely concerning he's younger and has a higher perception rating. However, I needed a setup here for one of the matches at Total Elimination, and it also allowed me to introduce you to the character I have in mind for Johnny Bloodstone. He's too old to be a constant focus of the shows (and would take the spotlight away from younger talent), but I just had to take the opportunity to put him in a program with the DeColts.</p></p><p> </p><p> <p>Predicting draws and no contests is always really hard, so I'm not surprised that nobody got that one right. LaEstrella actually had the right idea in mind, but still went with Thunder & Lightning. Don't expect things like these to happen too often in the future. I don't see CWA as a sports entertainment company, and run-ins will not always and automatically result in disqualifications. Also, don't expect my heels to constantly rely on cheap tactics to secure their victories. I like strong heels if it fits their characters, and I'll book them accordingly.</p></p><p> </p><p> <p class="cwa-p-nmb">I will post the results of the first episode of CWA Northern Fight Night (my new "B" show) in the next days, followed by the first update on the Pick Your Wrestler contest (since the results from those shows will also count).</p></p><p> </p><p> <div class="cwa-predictionresults-results"></p><p> <div class="cwa-predictionresults-participant"></p><p> <span class="cwa-predictionresults-name">LaEstrella</span></p><p> <span class="cwa-predictionresults-points">1/5</span></p><p> </div></p><p> <div class="cwa-predictionresults-participant"></p><p> <span class="cwa-predictionresults-name">shawn_waters</span></p><p> <span class="cwa-predictionresults-points">3/5</span></p><p> </div></p><p> <div class="cwa-predictionresults-participant"></p><p> <span class="cwa-predictionresults-name">The Lloyd</span></p><p> <span class="cwa-predictionresults-points">3/5</span></p><p> </div></p><p> <div class="cwa-predictionresults-participant"></p><p> <span class="cwa-predictionresults-name">kanegan</span></p><p> <span class="cwa-predictionresults-points">4/5</span></p><p> </div></p><p> <div class="cwa-predictionresults-participant"></p><p> <span class="cwa-predictionresults-name">Rateddc</span></p><p> <span class="cwa-predictionresults-points">3/5</span></p><p> </div></p><p> <div class="cwa-predictionresults-participant"></p><p> <span class="cwa-predictionresults-name">Leion</span></p><p> <span class="cwa-predictionresults-points">3/5</span></p><p> </div></p><p> <div class="cwa-predictionresults-participant"></p><p> <span class="cwa-predictionresults-name">Dalton</span></p><p> <span class="cwa-predictionresults-points">3/5</span></p><p> </div></p><p> <div class="cwa-predictionresults-participant"></p><p> <span class="cwa-predictionresults-name">Historian</span></p><p> <span class="cwa-predictionresults-points">2/5</span></p><p> </div></p><p> <div class="cwa-predictionresults-participant"></p><p> <span class="cwa-predictionresults-name">TakerNGN74</span></p><p> <span class="cwa-predictionresults-points">3/5</span></p><p> </div></p><p> <div class="cwa-predictionresults-participant"></p><p> <span class="cwa-predictionresults-name">christmas_ape</span></p><p> <span class="cwa-predictionresults-points">4/5</span></p><p> </div></p><p> </div></p><p> </p><p> <div class="cwa-predictionresults-scores"></p><p> <img src="<a href="https://i.imgur.com/o2Owk6c.png" rel="external nofollow">https://i.imgur.com/o2Owk6c.png"</a> class="cwa-predictionresults-image"> <img src="<a href="https://i.imgur.com/SdchqFV.png" rel="external nofollow">https://i.imgur.com/SdchqFV.png"</a> class="cwa-predictionresults-image"></p><p> </div></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </div></p><p> </div></p><p> </div></p>

  7. Comments like those below are exactly why I've decided to do this contest! Alright, sir! He'll hold the World title, the TV title, the Tag titles (alone) and the Women's title in two months! Quote me on that! ... maybe. But seriously, it's obvious that I'm gonna try my best to push a Stone, but I play with fog of war turned on and don't want to spoil myself by looking in the database, so I'll first have to see how he performs before I can actually pull the trigger. What I can say already is that I'm not a huge fan of constant seemingly pointless tag team matches just for the sake of getting as many people as possible on a card. That's why I've already created a B show, and if I come to the conclusion that I don't have enough time to feature my relevant workers, I might also install a second weekly A TV show. We'll see. Great to hear that you like the concept! I definitely agree with some others on this forum that keeping Jack and Ricky away from the main event scene on purpose just because they're DeColts doesn't make sense. That said, I'm curious myself to see what the future holds for him. He's definitely not the youngest anymore, but he's one of my best workers. Time will tell!
  8. For the sake of clarification (since I've also already received a private message that makes me believe I didn't make the rules clear enough): The draft format was Draft with nobody getting duplicates. That's the reason why Cameron Vessey wasn't drafted: He was indeed picked by a lot of participants; two had him as their number one pick and four had him as their number two pick. However, that also means that for both positions, he was considered a duplicate (because there was more than one participant who put him on that position), and therefore he was not drafted at all. I hope that makes it a bit clearer. If anyone misunderstood these rules and got someone out of the draft they didn't want in the first place, that's what the extra rule that I've just described in my last post is for.
  9. Thank you! I'm really happy about the way the design has worked out so far. David is surely a guy that I'd like to give a push as soon as he's ready. I don't have any idea how soon that will be, though.

You can find the results below, but first of all, let me introduce you to an additional rule that just came to my mind in order to reward you for your involvement (and, even more importantly, to not punish you for taking part in this risky format; I can already say that there are some very important wrestlers who are still available because they were picked by more than one participant at the same position).</p> <p>After the draft is over, we will transition into a phase where every reader can still join the contest by writing me a PM with the name of the (male or female) wrestler they would like to pick. This will be "First come, first serve", so whoever writes me a message about a particular worker first, gets them. However, for the next <b>two days</b>, if anyone who was part of the draft feels like they are unhappy with the worker they got, <b>they can send me a message with the name of the wrestler they would like to replace their draft pick with</b>, again "First come, first serve". This will have priority over any request by a new participant, so if I get any messages from readers who want to join the contest, they will not be resolved before the start of the next week.</p> <p><b>I welcome everyone who was not part of the draft to still join the contest!</b> The more people are involved, the more fun we'll have!</p> <p>Now, without further ado, here are the results of the "Pick Your Wrestler" draft! 11. Aldous Blackfriar © vs. Azathoth vs. Lug Phelan for IPW Championship (Ladder Match) Not going with the most obvious choice here. Azathoth doesn't need a championship to be a major threat right now. In fact, I believe it might actually hurt his character. Frantic Ali vs. JOJI - Barb Wire Match Close call in this one. Ali might be leaving soon and you might want to put JOJI over in this match, but if not, Ali is probably more main event material for you. Dusty Ducont vs. Mystery Guest Never bet against the ?. Don't have the game where I'm writing this, so I'll skip on the guess because I don't know the local scene well enough. Hugh de Aske © vs. Deacon Darkhold for IPW Californian title Arrrr. Canadian Hardcore © vs. Coulrophobia for IPW Tag Team Championship I don't see a reason for a title change here. Minnesota Awesomes & Mystery Fan vs. Mexican Hardcore Killers & Zombie Boy **** the Minnesota Awesomes! Jules Night & Nigel Svensson vs. The Night Terrors Next. What is the Mystery Announcement? 12. Thought about hijacking a more generic thread instead of opening up a new one because I don't plan to do more creative work in this direction (it's definitely not my strength), but CWA seems to be a pretty popular promotion in TEW 2020 and it's easier to find these when they're in a separate thread. I've spent the whole evening creating new event logos for my CWA diary because while the existing ones are great, they didn't really fit what I had in mind perfectly. These use the new amazing logo by Kamchatka, and the style is heavily inspired by southside_hitmen's event logos that are just as amazing. I've also got rid of In The Company Of Legends because I really don't like that name and replaced it with Winter War, which also has been a CGC or NOTBPW event (can't remember which company it belonged to). If you like them, feel free to use them for whatever you want.

  14. You did an amazing job with Valiant in that last SupremeTV episode! By the end of it, I was really hyped up for him and you can now count me a smark who will cheer like crazy should he, at some point, take the title from Remo. I know it's unlikely that will happen, but then again, Valiant has already shown that he can absolutely put out very good grades. I also like the new RISE show format!

  17. Sorry if this has been asked before; I did a quick search of this thread without any results. Does anyone have any experience values (or good enough game knowledge) how many house shows are appropriate for a company (CWA) that has monthly PPVs, one 'A' TV show and another 'B' TV show? The default three seems a bit high to me, but I don't have any idea how the game works in this regard.

For every position, if the name of a worker that has not yet been taken only appears on one list in this position, they are assigned to the participant.</li></p><p> <li>This process is repeated until either all 10 possible list positions have been looked at, or every participant has received a wrestler.</li></ul></p><p> <p><b>Example:</b></p></p><p> <ul><li>Participant A and Participant B have put Christian Price on #1, Participant C has put Aaron Knight on #1, Participant D and E have put Cameron Vessey on #1. Only Participant C receives a wrestler in this phase because they're the only one with a unique pick (Aaron Knight).</li></p><p> <li>Participant A has put Aaron Knight on #2, Participant D has put Christian Price on #2, Participant B and E have put Sean McFly on #2. Participant A has a unique pick, but Aaron Knight is already taken. Participant D receives Christian Price because they're the only one who picked them as #2. Participant B and E once again don't receive a wrestler because they both have chosen Sean McFly.</li></p><p> <li>Participant A has put Sean McFly on #3, Participant B has put Shooter Sean Deeley on #3 and Participant E has put Chucky Dorrance on #3 (what the f*ck, E?). All of them have unique picks that have not been taken yet. Since all participants have received a wrestler now, the draft ends.</li></ul></p><p> <p>If you're unlucky and don't receive a wrestler during the draft (which is very unlikely), decide to not participate or miss the deadline, you will of course still be able to take part in the contest! <b>After the draft has ended and the initial wrestler allocations have been announced, we'll transition into an ongoing "First come, first serve" where you can just leave a comment in this thread at any point in time and request a wrestler that is still free.</b> Chances are that the most popular wrestlers are already taken by then, but having multiple prize categories means that midcard and even undercard men and women have a fair shot at winning the contest.</p></p><p> </p><p> <p class="cwa-p-nmb">With the rules laid out, I hope that you will be a part of this experiment and wish everyone good luck!</p></p><p> </div></p><p> </p><p> </div></p>
  21. <p>I don't know what to say, folks. I'm absolutely stunned and overwhelmed by the amount of responses and the positive feedback! Thank you so much to everyone who's commented so far (and everyone else who's taken their time to read through the starting posts)!</p><p> </p><p> I'll respond to every single comment below, but first of all, I'd like to let you decide how the initial wrestler allocation will take place. Like I've already written in the contest post, I'm not a huge fan of first come, first serve and would prefer a draft-like mode to make the whole affair as fair as possible. However, there are two different ways to do such a draft that come to my mind right now, and of course, if the majority of you still prefers first come, first serve, I'm absolutely fine with doing it that way as well.</p><p> </p><p> Here's a link to a poll that I've created (and an explanation of the options below it). Starting with the top of the list, they get the wrestler that <em>nobody else has put in this position</em>.</p><p> <strong>c) Draft with duplicates decided via dice roll:</strong> Same as the former, but if more than one participant has put a wrestler in the same position, a dice roll will decide who gets them.</p><p> </p><p> Option b) and c) involve some kind of mind game: You could try and set a very popular wrestler in the first position of your list, but at a relatively huge risk of not actually getting them because at least one other participant could've put it in the same position.</p><p> </p><p> Excited to see how you'll decide!</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="christmas_ape" data-cite="christmas_ape" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="50831" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>100% like the idea of Pick Your Wrestler, it's surprising I can't think of any other instances of it, at least not exactly like this. Nice to hear that you like it!</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Dalton" data-cite="Dalton" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="50831" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Alright I got a chance to read through it all and....wow, this is amazing. The time and energy you put into this is astounding. <p> </p><p> Pick Your Wrestler is such a cool concept. The rosters and other info are laid out BEAUTIFULLY. Like honestly man, this might be the most unique dynasty I've ever seen here. Bravo. Hope you get started soon.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Wow, thank you so much! I've recently started to learn a bit more about CSS, both for work and private use, and I thought this would be a great opportunity to try myself out a bit. I always wanted to make extensive use of graphics in the past (e.g. editing images before uploading them), but doing most of the stuff in CSS actually saves a lot of time, especially in the long run, and I'm really happy with the way it looks right now.</p><p> </p><p> It's great to read how much you like it. Hopefully the show format and everything else will be on a par with what is there already.</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="kanegan" data-cite="kanegan" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="50831" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Great concept and beautiful presentation. 22. Cliff's a really handsome guy, isn't he? I like him a lot. Hopefully there'll be another interview with him at some point in the future! Masked Cougar vs. Remmy Skye Azathoth vs. Hustle Muvva Frantic Ali vs. James Diaz Deacon Darkhold vs. Deadly Deadshot (Pre-Show)The Hot Taggs vs. The Night Terrrors (Pre-Show)"Superfan" Keith Vegas vs. Remmy Honeyman (Pre-Show)Baranaby & Rudge vs. Jerry Pepper & Texas Hangman (Pre-Show)Kid Fantastic & Manny Alvarez vs. Minnesota Awesome
  23. Aaron Andrews vs Greg Gauge Absolutely have to agree with christmas_ape here. The build-up to this inevitable feud is well done! Television Title Jay Chord vs Matt Hocking© Since Jay's probably leaving you (I guess), this is a very good opportunity to give Matt an extremely valuable win against an extremely popular opponent. The other possible outcome would be that you've been playing us, Jay has extended his contract and you're making him a champion, but that would destroy a lot of the momentum you've built for Matt, so I find that highly unrealistic. Joshua Taylor vs Edd Stone I'd go for Joshua in this one, but the storyline between these two would actually largely benefit from an Edd Stone win. It would make Joshua furious and only intensify this rivalry. Tag Titles American Ultra vs Mighty Meaty( C ) Mo's got to make it to the main event at some point. Not now though. Fro Sure vs Wolf Hawkins The paper's not lying.
  24. I knew Riley could do it! Definitely didn't expect James to make it to the finals, though, I would've bet house and wife on Youngman to beat the crap out of him. Really good show, Dalton. This is all coming together, and the addition of a few more angles definitely doesn't hurt!
