1. This sounds tremendous! Best of luck to you. Thanks Fleisch for all the years of hard work and for choosing a great person to whom you've passed off the reins!
 2. Congratulations on the release and thank you for the hard work! I'll give it a shot soon. Will be neat to play a mod that starts the month I was born.
 3. Meltzer is saying he's likely going to be in the 50-60 dates per year or something similar to Randy Orton. This seems like an educated guess as he's not certain at this point, and I'm guessing more will be known after Bryan works his Mania match and see how he feels.
 4.
Thank you Adam and company for releasing a new version of one of my favourite games!

*EDIT* sorry, I didn't see the post asking the question about whether or not this would be the last one. Makes me sad.

 5. All Japan is still drawing small houses outside of the odd Korakuen show and that's with Miyahara in the main event scene. 60 seems way too high, and I really enjoy Miyahara's work. I feel like he should be rated as a regional star.
 6. Thank you Fleisch, Derek and everybody else that helped!
 7. I keep checking the thread an unhealthy amount, so I'd say I'm hyped. You might even say I plan on staying hyped...
 8. Yeah, I agree with that generally. I think the reformed option is the way to go because it happened but it seems like lessons were learned.
 9.
Just going through some notes. Here are some minor things that you may or may not want to include (and I've checked the first page to make sure I'm not repeating anything):

*Konnan should have negative relations with Vampiro and Fuerza Guerrera. Also, maybe change his simmering tension with Dorian to hatred or strong dislike. He rips on AAA as much as he can.

*Karlee Perez had a DUI in '09 and Jack Swagger had one in 2013 (the classic mugshot!). Perhaps give them 5% law problems like you did with Stu Bennett. Jericho talks about being arrested for drunk driving in his book, so he could also use a bump there.

*I know it's best to use chemistry notes sparingly, but Rush and LA Park have torn it up two years in a row and just take each other's games to another level when they work each other. They are so great working against each other.

*During the whole Shibata scandal, Okada married his partner. In the May update he's still listed as "dating".

*Shigeo Okumura underwent neck surgery in April and hopes to be back in the ring by December.

*El Zorro left AAA in February and worked for Konnan's The Crash promotion this month.

*Should Mauro have simmering tension with JBL? Meltzer was pretty certain that they had some issues which led to his initial departure. Layfield's personality in game is pretty soft compared to the nightmare he sounds like going from multiple sources. Meltzer claims that JBL is super tight with Vince and that he's basically his proxy, perhaps a loyalty relationship between the two?

*Is Don Callis in the data? I can't seem to find him. He's commentating alongside Kevin Kelly for New Japan. I tend to stick to the Japanese commentary but from what I've heard he does a pretty good job.

*I believe it was Meltzer who said Joe Koff treats Delirious like a son. Loyalty relationship?

*Davey Richards has been pretty open about his dislike of Joe Koff.

*DJ Hyde's egotism is a running joke for people who have worked for him. He inserts himself into big angles and talks a very big game. He's got a balanced personality in your data. Still better than Zandig.

*The whole Dive twitter stuff highlighted Randy Orton's still present dislike of Bully Ray going back to their OVW days. Meltzer went into great detail about this on one of the episodes of WOR during the Divegate time frame. Batista doesn't like Bully either.

*Su Yung and Rich Swann married. They're currently set as engaged.

*Speaking of Su Yung, she was fired from WWN (including Shine) due to something going down on Wrestlemania weekend. The whole red wedding that was built up didn't happen. I read it was traffic but for whatever reason, she and Gabe don't seem to be in a good place.

*Personal opinion warning: I think Lenny Leonard of EVOLVE is one of the, if not the, best English PBP announcers today. He's at a respectable C+, whereas Michael Cole, who I find adds little to nothing even without Vince in his ear is at a B. Cole is certainly more refined (mic skills?) but sounds so fake when he tries to get excited.

*Sugar Dunkerton did some PBP for Beyond and was quite good. He's got average colour commentary skills and 0 PBP skills.

*ICW Fight Club is on Italian station sportelevision (another that would have to be created though).

*I don't want to stray too much into stats, but Rusev's acting seems really low. He's so great at emoting in and out of matches. Look at how he came out of that ridiculously awful love triangle with Lana and Dolph looking better than either of those two because of his acting chops (he was injured I believe, so he relied on entertainment skills). The Youtube interviews he did with Michael Cole really gave him a great platform to showcase his acting skills too. He's a top notch wrestling actor right up there with Kevin Owens imo. It's at C- right now. I could see him being a really strong babyface if the turn were handled correctly.

*Big Dave Batista has been very critical of his last run and hasn't shied away from bluntly putting down the creative and indirectly the McMahons. Would a simmering tension be too strong? Additionally, should he have a popularity bump due to the success of Guardians?

*Road Dogg/B.G. James is one of the head writers of SmackDown. He has 0 booking skill and reputation in the May data. Ryan Ward, the other head writer of SD, is not in the data set. Not much is known about Ward but going off his LinkedIn page, one can get some basic info like a rough age and such. He clearly had a big hand in NXT's success because the show has really deteriorated without him and Smackdown suddenly became pretty watchable after his promotion.

*Was it just me or did the Nakamura/Joe series of matches in NXT really under-deliver? Maybe a poor chemistry setting for when they face off?

*The Differ Ariake is closing June 2018

*Bryan Danielson has done everything but come right out and say that he's going to be wrestling after his current deal is up. Would it make sense to have his current deal expire in a year and have it set to only Authority Figure (as you've got it currently set) and then set him as an active worker rather than retired?

*Mark Haskins went on hiatus (was told by doctors to retire) last year due to neck problems. His head/body are at 100. He's obviously returned to in-ring action, so it can't be as bad as some worried but there should definitely be some serious wear and tear there.

*Kagetsu is going on hiatus later this year. Is there any way to handle this in game? She's leaving Stardom and not re-signing. Beyond that, nobody seems to know what's up.

*One last request for stats: Keith Lee is very likely going to win all sorts of most improved awards this year and they'll be well earned. He's having some incredible matches on the indies and not exactly being carried. He's a super athlete for a man his size and a helluva worker. His series of matches with Dijak, his match with Ricochet, and his EVOLVE match with Kyle O'Reilly have all been superb stuff. He, Cage and Sami Callihan tore it up at PWG a few months back too. There are other matches but those stand out. Apart from psychology (pacing out matches, building up to big moves though he's not terrible at this, and generally keeping the audience entertained), he has the whole package and it wouldn't surprise me if he's a big hit with WWE in a year or so. Any chance on bumping his top row (mostly brawling really), athleticism, entertainment and SQ?

Thanks for your time and effort, Fleisch! If this isn't kosher, I apologize.

 10.

SNIP

TV Deals:

In general, I am a bit torn on what to suggest for TV for Japanese companies, as a true PPV model doesn't really exist there. A company like AJPW will show taped versions of shows about a month before on networks like Samurai TV or GAORA, and have the occasional live broadcast of big events on them as well. It's not consistent enough to be a true "TV show", but they do show the occasional event. In testing, it seems like the ideal mix is below, but I am going to keep playing around with it.

Change AJPW on GAORA to Touring Highlights show

This is all very interesting and thanks for the hard work. Doing broadcasting deals for Japanese companies is a damn nightmare for the reasons you list above. A lot of companies use the paid streaming site Niconico for events too. From what I can tell, this includes NOAH, BJW, DG, W-1, Zero1, K-DOJO, FREEDOMS. The following companies have sporadic events aired on Samurai TV, usually on a week or so delay: Zero1, Stardom, NJPW, AJPW, BJW, DDT, NOAH (tour highlights?), and K-Dojo. As you've said, GAORA airs W1 and AJPW in addition to DG and Oz.

...

So awesome that Derek B is helping out with ratings. I'm incredibly excited to see how it all looks! Thank you Fleisch, Derek B, and everybody else for making such a magnificent mod!

 11. Just spitballing, but could it have something to do with promotions having fixed titles? Does that have any effect on alliance belts?
 12. What determines the maximum salary a user can offer a worker? I'm playing a game in which a friend and I started with the same money, prestige, size and owner settings yet a few months in and he can't offer the same amount of wages and bonuses I can.
 13. Pete Dunne is fantastic and you know they would have a classic together but Regal is done for good after the neck surgery, right? Like, even if he wanted to he couldn't? Regal vs. Cesaro from December '13 IIRC was also incredible. It's almost like Regal is one of the greats or something. Thanks for the update, Joe!

Mainly because I'm trying to re-do stats over time, and as you can appreciate this will take a lot of time - and will never ever be 100% correct because people are constantly evolving or adding new dimensions to their work, also declining in their work and as such it is impossible to keep on top of. That is something that cannot be expected of any current day mod maker, and you will be hard pressed to find any modern day mod where all of the stats are to your liking... to that I say... chin up bucko... there's an editor for you to use yourself if you don't agree with something. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

I'm saying these things, not to be a massive tool (although I can be one), but merely as a way to continue doing this monthly update without having to <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/rolleyes.png.4b097f4fbbe99ce5bcd5efbc1b773ed6.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> at someone who has been here 5 minutes and never contributed anything thinking they know everything and I'm some hillbilly hermit who has been hiding in a log cabin with no contact with civilisation... 26 years as a fan of wrestling, I think I know some things <img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

So, for those wondering when the next RWC release will be despite it being written already... it's 3rd December, I repeat 3rd December... once more for luck, 3rd December.<img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

I think some people need reminding of that from time to time. They are close to dead ringers though, so not many people would notice.

 16. Yep, that's Dorada. Both of the middle two pics are of Manabu making grr faces. The second to last is definitely an announcer, whose name escapes me right now, while the very last is Milano Collection A.T.
 17.
Superb work, Joe. Thanks so much for these!

One thing I noticed was Nick Jackson's first pick certainly looks like Matt Jackson.

 18.
Those are fantastic. I am eagerly awaiting this pack and thank you, phoenixnitro, and Larrikn in advance.

If I were wanting to get a mod ready for this pack, should I just use Fleisch's pic pack as a stand-in to get naming conventions set?

 21. I've been looking around for a Kana/Asuka picture of her in that rad face paint that she used to wear but I can't find any on Kyky's background. Does anybody have one? I'm finding it difficult to even find good source images, as magazine pictures are either small or not great quality.
 22.
Excellent news and 2004 is a pretty fascinating time in wrestling. NOAH was right there with New Japan, ROH was about to enter a golden age, and the brand split gave opportunity to a lot of guys. There was also still some hope for TNA too.

Best of luck!
