1. Just saw the edit in my post, sorry for that, Adam, I wasn't sure whether that word was allowed here or not, I've been out for a bit. steesh: I wouldn't be able to live with that Cody injury. Making him work through that for months? Hard.
 2.

You said to press 1 so here it goes.......1

I'll give the people what they asked for. Even if you were joking. I just need to tell the world how bad this game is. It's not even that terrible, it's just so arrogant, so irritating, and that's not what I look for when I'm playing a game during my free time.

First problem is, the immersion/presentation. The arena sounds for offense and defense are mostly the same in every arena, even though that's not the case in real life. The Spurs have their ''Go Spurs Go'' sound, the Warriors have their nice own defense sounds, the Raptors have the ''Let's go Raptors'' sounds and etcetera. 2K must have felt like their own sounds would have been fun additions, but no, it breaks the feel for the game, at least for me. They did a good job with the unique, real life buzzer sounds, and SOME sounds are there like the Nets substitution whistle and ''Let's go Warriors'', but not enough at all compared to NBA Live, whose biggest pro is exactly the immersion, compared to a huge con in its gameplay. While 2K's gameplay is better, its cheesiness doesn't make it a hell lot better, but just a bit better. I'll get to that later. Back to the subject at hand, I don't think there are any problems in placing the sounds in the game, it's just 2K's laziness. I want to feel like I'm playing a real game, not a 2K product. UFC 2 makes me forget that I'm playing something made by EA and makes me think that I'm truly playing a real fight. NBA Live makes me forget thtat I'm playing something made by EA and makes me think that I'm playing a real basketball game. I want that.

Commentary has improved, but hear me out for a second. The NEW third commentators are the improvement. Barry, Burke, Steve Smith, Webber, they all bring some fun opinions and discussions about the teams. Barry is the best one hands down. However, Harlan, Anthony and Kellogg are absolutely atrocious. The former two are a real shame because Harlan is great in real life and should definitely get a Finals gig for once (I do prefer Breen, and that brings my mind to a stalemate), and Anthony is not bad either based on a 2013 playoff game I watched last year. Kellogg based on this game makes me want to turn off a game if I ever see it's going to feature him on commentary. Thank goodness it's never happened yet. The reason for the hate? Well, they rarely complement your team on good plays, never complain about bad calls going either way like good real life commentators would do occasionally, throw the AI's greatness in your face when they do stuff that I will tell you about later, plus the fact that their dialogue is recycled as hell and yes, it's terrible. Kellogg is the worst, he suggests illogical stuff all the time, complains about your team the most, raves about the other team the most, and his voice is just not enjoyable to listen to. When you hit a big dunk, his lines sound like they came from a PS1 game. Hell, all his lines sound terrible and lazy and just good lord, he's terrible. I think you got the message. Breen and JVG have fewer lines in NBA Live but they're far more enjoyable to listen to and actually bring constructive arguments.

Online is way better to play than offline when you find a good opponent, but more often than not you will face a dude who will jack up threes every possession, and he will most likely be using the Golden State Warriors. And they will always hit. All-Star, in which you choose a player from a specific position in a conference to play with 4 more players from that conference against 5 guys from the other conference, has the same problem. Playing with guys who move the ball to find the open man gives you a great time, but you might also be paired with ballhogs who never pass or face a team with a three point specialist who will jack up impossible threes that will hit either way. The ball movement is not a problem of the game per se, it just shows how mature the majority of this game's players are, but a solution would be nice. An option to send a video to 2K to prove that the player is making your experience bad or something. I don't know if that's possible. But moving on...

MyTeam has improved, but the run and gun style of Domination is very tiresome and Blacktop is the second worst mode of the game. 99% of the players just jack up threes and win. There's no ball movement, so most of the time when I see it will go that way I just stand there and watch them do their ''magic''. The draft is a joke, since the game purposely gives you worse cards than the board has sometimes. Still, building your team is fun, the challenges are nice, and if you do enjoy running like an idiot every offensive possession for a dunk or a three, Domination will be fine as well. I'd say MyTeam as a whole is a pro, but Blacktop is terrible.

MyLeague is the best mode of the game, so if you want a reason to buy it, it's a good one. You can control the whole league if you want, watch it develop, develop one team, two teams, all the teams yourself...it's another pro. But I'll tell you already that we are running out of them.

MyGM has one small, simple problem...the players act like 2 year olds all the time. I have a 2016-2020 Lakers save, and currently, D'Angelo Russell, Brandon Ingram and Harrison Barnes are all pissed off at me. D'Lo is my franchise player and 3-time MVP of the league, so naturally I wanted to renew his contract when it came up. I did as soon as it did. Inexplicably, the next day he comes to me asking to renew his contract. I promise him that I will, since I have done it already. One week later he comes up and says that I broke my promise. WHAT? There isn't an option to tell him I've done it already, so I must promise him again. The next week, his morale goes to 0 and he's pissed at me, doesn't want to talk to me again, his overall drops to 86 (From 90) and hurts the overall morale since he's the team leader. Harrison Barnes, my sixth man, also has his morale dropped to 0 for two reasons...he wants me to drop the training intensity, so I do. However, Russell wants me to raise the intensity, so naturally I listen to the leader. Barnes comes out and requests the same thing he did before, so I take a look at the training menu and see that I'm able to drop Barnes' intensity and let the rest of the team like it is. For some reason, that doesn't count as his request, so he also tells me that I broke that promise. Not only that, but he also wants me to move Brandon Ingram (Who has a higher overall than Barnes) to sixth man and give him the starting job, even though he's had more minutes than Ingram and is a sixth man of the year candidate. I deny that request, his morale drops to 0, he calls me a tyrant. Very mature. When I move him to the starting role after this madness, Ingram gets pissed. Very freaking mature. But BUY LOADS OF VC and you will be able to give them some kool-aid and their morale will be back to 100! AMAZING!

I'm almost done, just two more arguments here. MyCareer...is trash. The very worst mode of the game. First of all, forget realism in this mode. It's gone. The so much hyped story? Nonexistent. A way to improve skills, attributes? WELL, BUY MORE FREAKING VC, YOU MORON! If you're playing in a difficulty higher than Pro, prepare to have a major headache. The difficulties change nothing but the field goal percentage from your team and the other team. So basically, the easier ones mean you will hit more shots, the other team will miss more shots. The harder ones mean your team will jack up bad shots and miss all of them, the other team will jack up terrible shots and hit all of them. The guards will more often than not be ballhogs and look for the worst shot possible. If you play Golden State, there is no way to defend them, because there will always be an open man since your team can't defend and they will always hit their threes. I've lost a 30 point lead to them in a FOURTH QUARTER because my team settled for terrible shots and misses, while they jacked up and hit impossible threes with Curry, Thompson, Durant, Green, and my matchup FREAKING ZAZA PACHULIA who hit a 24-second buzzer beater in my face, which means it was a contested shot, do you think he hits threes in real life, open or contested? (He doesn't.) That's exactly what happens all the time when the AI runs the pick and roll, there's always someone open.

When you use a Center, it's basically a game of who gets to the paint first. Let me elaborate, Ed Davis, a defensive-minded Center murders me with like 20 ppg every game I have against the Trail Blazers because this game likes it. Anderson Varejao, a freaking corpse at this point in real life from my beautiful country who flops to draw fouls and does nothing else in real life at this point, moves like he's Russell Westbrook and hits layups in my face. Pachulia hit a three in my face like I mentioned. He's not a shooter and much less a three point shooter. The AI will throw perfect baseball passes (Fullcourt passes) after a defensive rebound to their Center and if you're not there, it's two more points for them, so you can't defend anyone else who's truly an offensive threat who your team is failing to defend because the game doesn't want you to. If YOU try a baseball pass to someone else or your team tries a baseball pass to you, though, the AI will steal said pass 99% of the time. Also, you and your team can't defend for nothing, but the AI will stick like glue to you, which is VERY REALISTIC, and chances are, when you find an opening for a dunk or a layup, the magicians will still find a way to block your shot or draw a charge as soon as the ball makes its way to your hands. It's ridiculous. Your defender can be 20 feet away from you, but if someone gives you the ball for a three, he will become The Flash and find his way to contest your shot 99% of the time. Guys like Steve Nash will become Dwight Howard and block your shots to the stands from out of nowhere. Your team will never defend in transition. If you attempt to steal the ball one-on-one, it will most likely result in a reach-in foul, even if the reach-in animation doesn't activate, which means you basically get a foul for breathing. The AI will always be able to steal the ball from you when they try to. Glitches will be in favor of the AI 99% of the time, like shots going through the backboard and into the basket. The commentators will act like it's a realistic game and the AI's team is the greatest of all time as I said before, so this game will hurt your brain, your eyes and your ears. I don't recommend this kind of pain to any human being. Please do something better with your time.

I won't even talk about MyPark, sharpshooters and the enormous glitches that ruin the fun in that mode. Find yourself a video or a thread to know more about that. I'm done with it.

If you want a basketball game, do get NBA Live. The gameplay is also bad because rebounds are terrible, you can't rebound at all, but they actually try and bring something new every year, they actually try to give you a realistic game and I'm positive that NBA Live 17 will be a great game. 16 has many flaws on gameplay like rebounding, but it's a much slower, smarter game, people don't jack up threes all the time and there's way less cheesiness and much, much better presentation, immersion, and enjoyment.

I'm done.

 3. I might be late, but it's quite alright. Not worth the full price but it's enjoyable, even though I haven't played it much at all because I have no feel and no reason for it. That makes it a terrible purchase because I have nothing else to play since I've become sick to death of NBA 2K17 and its cheese from the AI. I found the gameplay additions to have been kind of terrible, since targeting feels worse either way (auto or manual), the AI will double team you 99% of the time and never stop, the rollouts haven't made the multi-man matches feel different at all plus the fact that nothing else has changed...but backstage access, promos (even though they're shit but yeah, baby steps), the roster, Ladder matches and the soundtrack are good reasons to buy it. I just hope they do a better job with 2K18 because the baby steps this time were REALLY SLOW baby steps. I'll also add that I haven't touched MyCareer and have no intention of doing so. The worst part is that I actually knew that before I got it for like 50% less on a PSN sale. Madden was out for less the next week. I feel like killing myself. Now I won't get this Madden anymore because I have to target Crash N-Sane Trilogy as the next purchase. And maybe I won't even get Madden 18 as well because Red Dead Redemption 2 also comes out this year. (OOC: Yeah bro, damn, the soundtrack is awesome and a pro for me, Diddy did a terrific job with it. People on 2K Forums think it's bad but I'm a musical addict who enjoyed it, surprisingly) (OOC2: I have no idea what OOC means since I'm not American but people seem to use it to give some extra messaging in here.) (OOC3: Royal Rumble matches are terrible. They still have that terrible camera angle for entrances and now the theme songs stop playing as soon as the wrestler enters the ring, now that is quite realistic...) (OOC4: Press 1 if you want me to rant about NBA 2K like I did about WWE here.) (OOC5: Nothing, it's just funny to OOC like this. Ha. Ha. Ha. Yeah, no.)
 4. This will forever be the one true answer.

 7. So, quick reply please, is EA Sports UFC 2 any good?
 8.

So far Luke Walton is my favourite for coach of the year. If he gets the Lakers to the playoffs he absolutely has to win it.

I liked the signings of Deng and Mozgov but not the length or amount. I would've given them one year with an option for a second although the cap is going up again next season so Im sure the Lakers will be fine financially.

Harden has been godly so far and the move by D'Antoni was genius. They need better production on the defensive end if they're to be a real threat though

Agreed on Antetokounmpo (I have him in my fantasy team so I see his name a lot and I'm not even confident I got it right.)If he could hit even 30% of his 3s, he would be in the discussion of best in the league. If he gets the Bucks to the playoffs he also needs to be in the MVP discussion.

While I agree mostly about the Pels, if Davis takes more shots, taking his teammates out of the equation, then defenses can just focus in on him. They've been playing a lot better since Jrue came back and I've said many times that Jrue/AD pick n roll is amongst the best in the league. I think they need to move Evans though. He is too much of a ballstopper that ruins the Pels momentum. I would try move him for a defensive center who can rebound. Someone like Nerlens Noel or Marcin Gortat would help take the pressure off AD

Yes, Luke has done a fantastic job indeed, we just need to shake off the rust after the shit ton of injuries that we had. That was a very winnable game against the Knicks last night...but as always, a guard...well, this time, two guards had a field day against us. If that wasn't enough, one of them was freaking (I wish I could use the other F word, I was very frustrated during the 4th yesterday because of him <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/rolleyes.png.4b097f4fbbe99ce5bcd5efbc1b773ed6.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png"><img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png">) Brandon Jennings, who became Stephen Curry because our best and basically only perimeter defender is Uncle P, so they were feasting on the threes with Jennings and Courtney. I do love Derrick Rose and loved to see him play that well, I just wish it was against a different team. <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png">

Harden is my frontrunner for runner-up, the frontrunner-up (If that even exists) for MVP, after Westbrook. It might come down to which team gets the higher seed, assuming both make a top 5 seed in the West (Which is what I expect.)

While Harden is proving to be extremely effective as the Steve Nash of the MDA offense, Westbrook has the better narrative, but both have been carrying their teams so well, it will come down to the wire. I'm excited. About Giannis, I'm afraid he won't be in the discussion yet, as I don't see the Bucks being a top 5 seed in the East. Cleveland, Toronto, Charlotte, Boston and Chicago/New York seems like a solid bet for me, in no particular order. If they do make the playoffs, his first playoff series as the legitimate Bucks' superstar will be no short of exciting, that's for sure. However, the race for the bottom seeds will be tight once again. The Bucks do have a legit shot, but Atlanta, Chicago/New York (whichever slips out of the top 5), Orlando, Detroit, Indiana and Washington are all there as well.

I really feel bad about Davis' situation. Jrue's return has helped him a bit, that's true, but is Jrue reliable? Thus far in his NOP tenure he has rarely been in the court. He's terrific when he's there, but when he's not it's basically Davis and a goon squad. About Davis, the guy loves New Orleans, but he needs more, consistent help. You made a defensive C trade proposal, and that was exactly what they were looking for with Asik, but he is basically useless at this point, moves like a senile old man and rarely shows flashes of what could have been. (He did that against us this season as well, but then again, everything went south for us in that game <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/mad.png.69834f23b9a8bf290d98375f56f1c794.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png">) They do need to get rid of Asik ASAP, so let's weigh in on your options...Noel's trade value is sinking more and more by the day, because like Jrue, he can't stay in the court either. That's a shame, but I hope it's just bad luck so far. Gortat seems like a better match.

 9. We have beaten the Golden State Larriors two times in a row and are back to .500 for the first time in years. We can sure as hell beat the Suns so I guess we'll end up with a winning record for the first time in years after tonight as well. I think it's safe to say that the Los Angeles Wakers will be making the playoffs this season. Yes, I'm being sarcastic. But we won't be dead last in the West.
 10. Simmons is INJURED. Perfect timing. (And the preseason kicks off tonight!)
 11. So...who's on NBA 2K17? xD (PS4)
 12. As I said, the Raptors, all the way to the Finals (Not a win, but they will get there). Lowry and DeRozan are a very productive duo and Valanciunas keeps improving. He could soon be a top 5 Center in the league (I might be biased though. ) Lowry was inconsistent in the Playoffs, but they did give Cleveland one hell of a fight, and I'm sure that they will be the team to beat LeBron at last this season. Either them or Boston. But Boston isn't a darkhorse for the finals in my mind. I also think that the Timberwolves will make a run for the 8th seed this season, with KAT, Wiggins, LaVine, Kris Dunn and company being coached by Thibs, it's very possible indeed. I don't see them winning in the Playoffs, especially if they do get the 8th seed (Which would very likely place them against Golden State), but it will be a nice experience for Towns and the other rookies. Orlando has the best frontcourt in the league, pretty much. Vucevic, Ibaka, Biyombo, Gordon (When he develops)...they will get more wins and hold some teams to some scary low scoring, that's for sure, but I'll bet on the 17-18 season for the Playoff run.
 13. Not at all, Durant and Zaza have to adjust to diferent teammates, plus the numbers for Curry and Durant will be considerably decreased as they will share control of the offense (With Thompson and Green as well), so there's definitely an advantage for a few teams there. And this means that Curry will probably not get a three-peat on the MVP award. I'm thinking Westbrook takes it.
 14. I'm a betting man for the Raptors this season. They will make the Finals against Golden State, but ultimately lose.
