  1. I've updated the mod squad thread at the end with all the links.
  2. <p>Should anyone want direct downloads from a server rather than Mediafire, you can also get them via the article on Nexus here: </p><p> <a href="https://community.wrestlingnexus.com/articles/233-1985" rel="external nofollow">https://community.wrestlingnexus.com/articles/233-1985</a></p><p> </p><p> Thanks Tsu for the great work <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

Bret Hart has a steroid rating of 100. Shawn Michaels has a rating of 50 and he's only been with the company for a year or so. Everyone I check is on the roids. I feel like Hal from Malcom in the middle with his army of beefy men.<p> </p><p> </p><p> Anyway. Summerslam 1988 ended with Mr. Perfect winning the world title from Randy Savage. I was hoping on giving him a decent run with it but he's been quite underwhelming on his own. He'll probably drop it to Hogan soon.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> WWF in that mod start with a dirty doctor so that's why they are getting hooked on the needle</p>

I could be wrong, though.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> They do do that, but also, TEW's rating system isn't even slightly accurate in nearly all cases, as you can't get the rating unit accurate for its time - which changes year on year to account for number of households.</p><p> </p><p> Best way to test this for realism is some mental maths with the TEW rating unit vs Neilsen Rating unit, and testing broadcasters on a singular basis.</p>
  5. I'm fully of the belief that this game would be even more niche that it is, without the ability to have real world mods. It might not even be financially viable. I just wanted to add though, I feel you're contradicting yourself with fictional vs non-fictional. The ratings, data collected etc are certainly original works, there's no single definitive way to measure a worker. It's a mod maker's ideas how good a person is at a given time, whether workers should have colour ratings, or not, whether they are a particular size, body weight. Even Ownership structures... I don't wish to bring an external debate here, but I know that there's been many discussions between myself, Genadi and justtxyank on how best to simulate WCW's ownership structures There's many ways in which work into a mod is original to a point, and very much so I think people have a right to complain if someone wants to use their work without permission. As you'll know any kind of mod takes a certain kind of care and attention to detail into it to be in any way a good mod. What I don't like to see personally are two things:- People mass importing a mod, and only making very small changes to the databases and not holding it to a high standard. Especially when lots of issues become apparent in that mod because worker stats are overpowered, or details are wrong because often - a worker created for a mod in 1997 is meant for 1997, not 1992 or 1993. I also think that sometimes, credit given to people without asking is actually a reflection of that persons' work than the person creating the mod. If the details are wrong, and the mod attributes that part of the work to you (and not the author), then people will be less trusting of your work in future. Asking for credit is great for a couple of things, its an endorsement but also oftentimes you will find people will be very much willing to help you out with mod specific changes and polish. There's many great members of the community that do this, TsuMirren, Genadi, justtxyank, Hive, Matt Shannon to name a few who are also great with feedback as well. Everybody wants more mods but more importantly, everybody wants great mods. That's why I think communication and collaboration is so important. Everybody's mods become suddenly better when we're all discussing things and helping each other. It isn't helped though if some people are out for themselves and just want to take work from others and take credit themselves, without also contributing to the community as a whole.
  6. <p>Well, this escalated quickly. </p><p> </p><p> Nobody is saying there isn't any appreciation for "updating this mod".... but it is for nothing if you haven't actually updated it properly with due diligence and research and taken pride in your work, and been rude to people giving constructive feedback.</p><p> </p><p> Getting all hysterical when some very helpful advice, feedback and points of contacts have been given to you, isn't going to endear yourself to people you go to asking for help, and feedback. Yes, it is for nothing if this is how you react to feedback and act like you're being somehow victimised.</p>
  7. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Matt Shannon" data-cite="Matt Shannon" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41810" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I've actually considered that, along with Young Guns and eventually Main Event. Maybe even an alt mod or two. <img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> The installer will allow you to package up multiple mods and packs in the same download, so that might be of interest to you.</p>
  8. <p>Just wanted to add, if anybody wishing to use this does want a bit of help customizing or setting up the Installer just drop me a PM and I'll help and walk you through it. </p><p> </p><p> It's very easy, but if editing CSS isn't your forte I can help on that front.</p>
  9. Thanks guys <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
  10. TEW 2016 Mod Installer Having used this with the Mod Squad Mods recently, I've now decided to create a thread and make this open for anyone who wishes to use the same software and distribution for their own mods, skins, graphics to provide for people who want a one-click solution to installing their mods, rather than only giving manual instructions. http://i.imgur.com/wyU7wqx.png Download Link (10Mb) Modder FAQ User FAQ Any questions please feel free to ask. It would be great if those of you that use this for distribution just let me know that you are using it and how you are finding it, similarly anybody who uses this as a user as well.
  11. <p>Think from one modder to another we know that there isn't any "hostility" in the statements, but we care how it might appear to other members to the community who are new, or not as involved. </p><p> </p><p> It comes across as though it's seen like some kind of competition, which it is not. We all want more options for users and that is a great thing. That doesn't mean comparisons need to be made about which is "definitive" or not.</p>
  12. <p>It's not listed so no. Some of it *may* work but your mileage will vary. </p><p> </p><p> You should use whatever picture pack Fleisch is utilising for his mods for maximum compatibility.</p>
  13. Likewise this was done with some Mexican venues during the research phase but whether they made it in or not I'm not too sure, but a lot of the locations were cleaned up to keep things neat across the board.
  14. The advertised matches for that show are off the charts. They must surely be putting it on the Network -- Bash at the Beach?
  15. Much more likely Styles will be doing a heel turn at this point in my opinion even if it is temporary. Only way I see Reigns going heel again is a Shield reunion. Gallows/Anderson are feuding Usos.... Styles with Reigns... considering the connection it seems to be like its teasing the BC with Gallows and Anderson and Styles together. My money is on AJ/Reigns ending in a non-finish, with Gallows and Anderson standing tall with AJ to end Payback. This will run for a bit, I reckon. Eventually Finn could be debuting as a heel and AJ goes back to being a face after being double crossed because Anderson & Gallows don't really want AJ being champion, they did it for their true leader instead: Finn. The Wyatts is an interesting angle and I think will simmer through the spring and Bray will win the MITB, perhaps even costing Reigns the title at Summerslam to Cena. Reigns can get back into the picture later in the year by capturing the briefcase vs Wyatt and heading back into a Shield Triple Threat feud going into Mania season, possibly for the title. Bray v Finn would be a good shout for a match at some point at a big PPV, Wyatts and BC at Survivor Series maybe. That would be my scenario looking forward. It was a lot of clever booking this Monday and it's given them lots of options for the months ahead really on quite a few fronts.
  16. Best Raw in a very long time, and I'm stoked for next week's show I'll be attending. So many times we are watching and not really sure where the show is going, oftentimes the main event is booked in the opening segment and the opening match, almost like an invitation to watch the first and come back later. Not this week Dr Phil was excellent, what a promo. Tournament - love it. Matches with consequences and storyline progression - love it. A show that really flowed and didn't drag. Last 45 mins or so a bit harder to watch, but I put this down more to the length of the show. I'm liking the current storylines as they've done really well this week. Hope they keep it up. On a plus side - Reigns boos were not completely edited out in post production on Hulu (perhaps toned down a little bit). They are pushing this other side to Reigns well these last couple of weeks. I would hope the WWE could push some of their more 'meaningless' matches as having meaning with saying the wrestlers are fighting for a chance at a title or to be recognised, etc. Tournaments do this easy and added intrigue to the matches on Raw this week. Just hope they don't let us down in London next week.
  17. One thing I dearly miss on the main roster is use of backstage segments, I pretty much grew up on them in the late 90s. Some Raws feel disjoined as its just match after match, and its not too often we get a sequence of segments throughout the show that really keep the viewer watching. I think it was this past Raw where I watched the opening segment and then the contenders with Reigns, and realised after the show that for the most part (except for Miz), I could have skipped the rest of the show. It disappointed me watching live that Crews and Corbin were sortve just thrown in there, with little fanfare. The Womens segment was a let down as many (inc. myself) were wanting Bayley and instead got Nattie. Whatever happened to hyping up guys before they appear, getting to know them before they have matches? I think this is part of a reason why guys like Breeze have suffered, as I actually think his gimmick is a very relevant one and funny in its own way. Occasionally there are some good matches not in the main event on Raw, usually for me featuring New Day and Kevin Owens. But I am tired sometimes that the vast majority of angles even speaking parts, take place in the ring. Some of the best stuff in the past is with backstage members of the roster, even the Cole interview segments that are on Youtube these days like someone mentioned in the thread. I don't know, just think WWE are missing a trick sometimes. I do enjoy the wrestling fwiw, but I like fresh matchups too, things like running through 5 or 6 bouts of AJ v Y2J on TV weekly and Kalisto/ADR in recent past have killed some of the excitement I would have had on a PPV. One thing that really works well for Lucha Underground is that its vignette and angle segment heavy, and heightens the anticipation of matches when they finally do come. I appreciate this is harder for WWE now with the amount of hours they need to fill.
  18. There isn't a free hulu, that I know of. Hulu Plus is simply "Hulu" nowadays. I have Hulu and WWE Network, usually catch Total Divas and Raw on Hulu and everything else on the Network
  19. If there is anybody interested in entering a WWE & NXT Predictions League for 2016 that has a prize for the winner (free entry), drop me a PM and I'll send you the details. It will be starting soon as there's a couple of bonus rounds before the Rumble PPV. The prize would be WWE2K17 on PS4/Xbox One or a GDS game (user's choice). Let me know.
  20. Updated to Windows 10 on my new Mac Pro (installed natively), and TEW is working like a charm
  21. Easily show of the year for me, Wrestlemania 30 was very good for me but this is the only PPV this year I've gone back to watch again because I'm still so buzzed from how good the show was. Until WWE realise that Quality > Quantity, NXT will consistently be the more enjoyable to watch. The main roster programming is past diminishing returns now, I don't think it's just a case of bad writing (and there is plenty), but the sheer amount of time to fill and the resources they have.
  22. <p>I was predicting a swerve tonight but not to the Streak.</p><p> </p><p> Was in shock at the time but in the end really doesn't matter. Streak match itself wasn't too bad I thought, it was a slow build but the commentary didn't help. </p><p> </p><p> It definitely subdued the feeling of Bryan winning, but RAW will be massive tomorrow. Expecting Rusev to break out, and Bryan to feud with Brock I reckon. Don't think Bryan will hold the belt for long, month or two at most.</p><p> </p><p> Tonight's opening was simply amazing, and I thought Streak apart, booking was spot on. Wanted Bray to win but feeling from the PPV wouldn't be the same if it was all so predictable. Felt sorry for the Divas and especially with AJ winning as I think her reign is hurting the division now. But considering what went before that it really went under the radar. </p><p> </p><p> Also - props to WWE for keeping the Network alive. I was a few seconds behind I think tonight but had no glitches whatsoever.</p><p> </p><p> A Grade Show for me, WWE have won my interest back (for good I think) after been away about 9 years coming back in December <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
