  1. Steve DeColt I never found much for Jon Jetson to do in my save, other than a heel jobber to build up my faces. Here he is much more interesting but still no match for Steve Johnny Maverick I don't see Maverick as a flashy guy, even with Hollywood in his name but Eddie Chandler is a naive babyface so Maverick pulls it outta the bag somehow Alex Another guy I never found much use for in Switchblade Mike. He's got menace and as a Monster of the Week, I think he'd be fine but not a long term threat but you'd probably find something interesting for him to do. Alex will still win though Helen Wheels BR Seems like something Alex could win but he's busy. So lets go Steve Flash? I can see why you thought Flash and Bowen would get a good rating, but I find without a few months of build Bowen can be iffy. He's not great in the ring, he's over but not majorly so that doesn't fix it. Flash is unbelievable though. Tyler was disappointing with that promo too, was Dan rated? Maybe his pop dragged it down. I've actually made Dan into a really solid big man in TEW 2016 CV97 game. This was in DAVE where his skills fit really well. He became The Chase Agency's ace. Held the Extreme title twice and was pretty good doing so. It ended in 2006 when TEW 2020 came out and soon after my PC corrupted and the save was lost.
  2. Bowen Outside of Tyler he's really the only heel who can actually challenge Steve out the gate and while Flash is probably the best face performer in the company, he'll make Bowen look great. The Flock This really depends on McClean's partner. I'm trying to think who he could use. I say it's a lower carder and The Flock take the w Howling Dog Biff is fine, but Dog has been pretty good recently and he's a colourful undercard face and you need them to build heel threats for the DeColts I think what you are doing is really the right idea for the financial side. In my cgc save i started turning a profit in April (probably due to Wrestlefestival) but that was with monthly PPV's. My production values are Professional, Small, in house, in house and they've been pretty ok. The thing is I'm not running extra shows so, take it with a pinch of salt.
  3. Absolutely Flawless I really like The Martin Brothers. They're kinda the UK version of the Bumfholes for me. Dragon & Wilson Not yet for the Bern Boys Antithesis If he's going to challenge to get his belt back, he needs to beat the back-up first Frisby Probably in the doghouse after LeStat got hurt, nonetheless should win Beast Bantom Doomsday isn't at Bantom's level yet. I like Bantom, but as heel. His face run has been solid though. Koller I toyed with Cooper winning this but he and Prince just had a program. Cash is a bit old and not at a level to challenge like you can be old and super over and challenge to get thd new champ over, but I feel Cash isn't over enough for that so Koller it is. The title picture is awful messy on United at the moment.
  4. Alex and Jack Honestly, this could go either way and I wouldn't be surprised if the SOF got them Biff Rookie babyface Eddie Chandler isn't quite ready yet John McClean I like John a lot in CV97. Young, good gimmick, time to develop. His probelm.is you don't have many faces to build him up, but him v The Flock should be fun.
  5. This is pretty fun. Not trying to put on extra pressure or anything but you think could make one for the English football tier, or make a custom league tier, watch teams go up and down see how teams go each year, etc. I'd have a lot of fun with that.
  6. A month long hiatus which I kinda knew would happen given that time of year is usually busy and I had the busiest one yet this year so, I was hoping I could pop one up after Christmas and break it up a bit, alas it wasn't to be. TEW has taken a little bit of a backseat lately, given I have other projects I'm having fun with, yet this is the one that's on my mind the most. It's weird. That being said, I would still expect a show from me every week or two. I'm still very much invested in this project. New Workers I asked you guys about who you'd like to see in YEPW, this was honestly for later seasons but when I began to write season four I saw a severe lack of workers actually available. Between releasing guys and them being trapped in the Realm of Darkness or other kayfabe nonsense. I had to bring in a few guys, I'll discuss them briefly here with the real analysis coming post season 4. Blayrec Sexxxy SJB was never a guy on my radar and even when he got mentioned in the new workers section, I didn't think he'd get a call. However, I needed jobbers and I like the ninja gimmick enough to give it a go. Despite the low rating in his first match, he actually overperformed. I was expecting like a single digit number, but it was in the teens. He'll get a few matches, we'll see how it goes, this is very much a try-out for a future role in something else down the line. The Void This was all you guys and over my hiatus when I decided Void was getting a shot, I needed the gimmick to be right. I previosuly said I didn't need more Jester lackeys, boy was I wrong. Trey is great, but I had plans for him. Vortex is gone and The Soul Collectors are going for the tag titles. I needed a guy. The Void was the man who got the call and deserved it as well, he fits so well. Shane Bader (Bonnar) NewGen who is gonna to be a MEGA STAR! I won't show his stats til the end of season 4 but yeah, I had to bring him in. I have high hoper for Bonnar, whose name was changed as we already have a Bonnar on the roster (Toasty). Predictions Table Key Name - Score this event - Score Total John Lions 4/4 - 22/33 Azzak 3/4 - 21/33 HiPlus N/A- 17/29 Kyteran 3/4 - 17/33 Tiberious N/A - 2/4 Voting for Dick and Morty in the tag match garnered a point as technically they kinda did win YEPW Fully Charged XVIII Shane Bader v White Wasp Blayrec v Trey Tallman The Entourage v The Soul Collectors Australian Devil & D-Pod v Black Flash & The Void Optional Questions What did you think about The Season 3 finale and Season Four Opening?
  7. YEPW Fully Charged XVII Melbourne 74 The Soul Collectors make their way to the ring MYAH HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAAHA! Jester More souls have been added to my collection and with every soul we gather, I get stronger and stronger. The forces of YEPW continue to dwindle but mine only get stronger. This place will soon be mine, aaaaalllll miiiiiinnnne and there’s nothing any of you fools can do about it. D-Pod runs out D-Pod Jester, you forced me to fight my friend and send his soul to your realm. Now, I want your head. Face me, Jester and put that belt on the line. I will save Francis and that’s a promise. Jester You wanna shot? I would say join the club, but there’s barely anybody left. Myah hahahaha. Let me ask you this? What reason would I have to fight you.. Unless you decide to… D-Pod There’s no way I’m putting my soul on the line. However, there is something else I can offer. You lost her already, I can give you a way to get her back. Jester What are you… D-Pod Ceri. She’s agreed to accompany me to the ring tonight. If you win, I’ll give her back to you, if I win, I get your title. Jester What?!?! Ceri… she.. She’s only loyal to me. She’d never… ever be with someone else. D-Pod That where you are wrong. I may be excitable and high energy, but I’m also the D-lectable, D-vine D-Pod and tonight, Ceri will be on my side, that’s if you want to win her back. Jester You want a fight you wretch. You got it. Ceri will be mine once again, she is only loyal to me. MEEEEEEEE! Rating: E Blayrec (F) v Shane Bader (F-) Blayrec speeds around connecting with precision ninja strikes. He’s fast. Very fast and Bader is struggling to see where he’ll come from next. Reacher A ninja, huh? He’s quite fast there’s no doubt. Platten Yes, but those attacks don’t seem to be doing much to Bader. Blayrec continues his “assault” when LARIAT!!!!!!! Bader takes his head off. 2. 3. Winner: Shane Bader Rating: F- Bader returns to the backstage area when the Professor approaches him. Prof. Ventris I knew it, I knew you’d be unstoppable. Bader Uhhh, who’re you? Prof. Ventris I’m Professor Ventris, the man who invited you to YEPW here tonight. Bader Um, okay. You are way too excited dude. Prof. Ventris You are needed, Shane. We… We’ve been fighting a losing battle recently and we’d appreciate it if you would join our ranks to protect YEPW. Bader Look I don’t know what’s going on here, but it would be nice to have some allies I guess. New place might be good to make new friends. You know what, you got it. You keep lining up new heads and I’ll take them clean off. Rating: E- Jester sits on his throne when Black Flash comes up Flash My time here is over, Jester. Send me back. Jester You want to go back? Flash Quicksilver is gone, banished to the realm that is now my home. I must go and make life miserable for him there too. Jester I like you Flash. You’re a useful soldier and I understand what you are saying, but it’s not like this place can’t be your own personal playground. Flash What do you mean? Jester I got you your old friend back, feel free to cause as much chaos as you’d like. Flash seems very pleased Rating: E+ Black Flash (D-) & White Wasp (E-) v The Party People (Cody Cook (E) & Toasty Bonnar (E)) The Party People corner Wasp early but he explodes like an uncaged animal, unpredictable and vicious. When Flash comes in it’s tricks and flips. He takes control, isolating Cook. Platten They're just toying with him now. Reacher Keeping Cook away from his partner, it’s a good strategy, Platten. Any tag team worth their salt would know to target the weak link. Cook does fight back, but can’t get the tag. When Bonnar tries to intervene, the ref stops him. Double team attack. Swandive Legdrop, and Wasp gets the win. Winners: Black Flash & White Wasp Rating: E AusDev JESTER! You’ve done everything in your power to try and take this place over. You even tried to make the people who protect this place turn against me, but my loyalty never swayed. I was always a YEPW protector and that hasn’t changed and you’ve done everything to stop me. Soul Collector after Soul Collector has challenged me and time and time again, they fall. You even created me again, my carbon copy, Vortex, but he has also been dispatched. You will have to face me eventually, Jester. You have the title right now, maybe after tonight, you won’t, but will that mean you leave? Will that mean we will rid you of this world, never to return? I don’t know the answer. I do know one thing. Regardless of tonight’s result, I will be waiting to face you. You can’t get rid of me any other way, Jester. It’s you and I and we are destined to battle again. At this point a large man comes out and attacks AusDev from behind, Jester then appears at the ramp. MYAH HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAAHA! Jester it seems you are ready to fight, Devil. However, I am a bit busy tonight, so I thought you might like to meet the man who brought Vortex to life. Meet The Void, another soldier in my Soul Collector Army. Rating: E+ Australian Devil (E) v The Void (F) Void is pretty vicious in his attacks as he hits Devil hard over and over. It seems he’s trying to send Devil to hell but Devil is no easy fight. He uses his quickness to dodge a few attacks and returns some vicious strikes, but Void keeps trudging forward. Platten He's like a Zombie, all The Void knows is offense. Reacher You might be right, we’ve seen weirder, why couldn’t a zombie be a part of YEPW? Despite this, Devil is able to get the upper hand, dodging an attack and finally getting the big man off his feet, but he gets up almost immediately. Devil is tiring from the constant dodging but Void keeps on going. Devil needs to act fast. He gets Void down again and quickly springboard off the ropes, connecting with a modified Tumbleweed Legdrop on Void who was sitting up and it just keeps him down for the three. Platten Hey might have got him down for the three, but it was close. Reacher A lesser being would have a tough time dealing with The Void. Winner: Australian Devil Rating: E- Melissa Hey everybody, I'm Melissa and you might know me from such interviews as when Francis Burke was being a jerk. Today, I have D-Pod here to tell us about his relationship with Ceri. D-Pod A relationship? I wouldn’t say there is one. She agreed to be by my side tonight, I’m sure to get her own back. I want the title, she wants revenge, it makes sense. I said I’d get my friend back and I plan to. Melissa So Ceri is now a defender of YEPW? D-Pod I wouldn’t say that. Ceri has her own goals, I don’t think saving YEPW is on her list. ??? You need to be careful Prof. Ventris I know you think you have recruited Ceri to your side, but she’s a soul collector, when have we ever seen one of them defect? D-Pod She hasn't defected. She made it clear that she isn’t a friend of YEPW. Prof. Ventris And you think you can trust her? D-Pod It’s because of this that I do. She made her intentions very clear, leaving nothing out. We have an agreement, that’s all. Tonight, she helps me win the title. After that, our partnership is over. Rating: E Dick and Morty (Felix Harding (E-) & Mortimer Pyle (E)) v The Soul Collectors (Bile (E-) & Eraser (E)) The Soul Collectors start really well, but the new tag champs are up for the task. The battle and battle, showing that this is a much more even contest than it was in the LOTT. Dick and Morty are a well oiled machine, Bile and Eraser are powerful beings, it’s like a rock verses a hard place. Platten We see the growth from Dick and Morty, but The Soul Collectors will fight forever it seems. Reacher You want to talk about coin flips, this is one right here. Neither team will back down. Unfortunately, it’s interference that ends it. The Entourage run in and attack both teams, in the end, it’s ruled a double DQ. Winners: Draw (Dick and Morty Retain) Rating: E w/ Jester (E+) v D-Pod (E) w/ Ceri Dordevich Pod flies into action battering Jester over and over again as Jester cackles like a madman. It doesn’t deter Pod though as he keeps hammering away. Jester does eventually return the some offense but he’s unwilling to go near the rope Ceri stands outside of, even stopping himself from hitting it after an Irish whip. Platten He’s… He’s afraid to go near Ceri. Reacher No, he’s afraid to give her an opportunity to do something. He knows she can change the outcome of this match. Jester tries to cheat, but Ceri immediately points it out to the ref, no Realm of Darkness match rules here. Pod comes storming back, dropkick, kick to the chest, shining wizard, MOONSAULT PRE…. NO!. Knees are up from Jester. They slowly get back to their feet and trade blows. Pod gets the upper hand and backs Jester into the corner. He goes for the splash but Jester pulls the ref in front of him. The ref is out, Jester and Pod are down… AND HERE COMES CERI! She gets in the ring, Pod is getting to his feet and Ceri is, standing over Jester as he makes his way to his feet, on one knee, he looks up. No smile, no cackle… He’s scared. Ceri's face is determined, she’ll get her revenge. Pod rises to his feet… AND CERI TURNS AND KICKS HIM RIGHT INTO THE GROIN! Jester cackles like a madman, Ceri holds the chair for the PUNCHLINE! She revives the ref and there’s the three. Winner: Jester Raing: E+ Jester cackles as Ceri takes the mic Ceri You thought I had turned, everyone did, but I am loyal to my Jester. I am his queen, I am his servant, what he says goes. If I have to go through hell, just for him to rule, I will. I am but a humble servant, his queen and I will be loyal to the end. Jester It was all a ruse. I knew her loyalty would never waver. I knew her heart was always mine. I knew it all and you fell for it hook, line and sinker. It feels soooooooo good to have her by my side once again and now that she is, the defenders will have no chance of ever getting rid of me. WE WILL RULE!!!! MYAH HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAAHA! 9. Okay, you have me very intrigued on what he'll say with this. I can't say I've pay attention to much modern wrestling (not a big fan of either of the "big two" though I generally think I just dislike modern wrestling) so I can't comment on the Zayn/Roman or Cole/Devil storylines. My idea was more about elongating the decision for Landon, if he has his answer already, I don't need to wait. 😛
  10. Masked Prefect Can't give this to Sloan. He's not very good in the ring and isn't very over. I can't imagine this will be a good main event so plenty of angle with the DeColts talking Land Mass and Mammoth With some development these lads can be a threatening duo, i went the other way in my save and jobbed them out but I could see why you would want to build them up a little. Battering Lamb Lamb can be a mega star if built right, though I struggled to find anything other than comedy in my save, Dirty Frank ain't the guy to beat him before that starts Title belts, huh? For CGC I'd struggle to give them a cruiserweight type belt. For me, maybe a regional belt to pre-cursor the Canadian belt. Like the Alberta title or British Columbia belt (BC title for short) which you could use to main event the house shows you are running and then use em as main events for the tv shows when needed and in that specific area. Down the line you could make more of them and eventually unify them all together to create the Canadian title. In 97, hardcore maybe. I get CGC is supposed to be more for kids but I think there are plenty of guys who could work the style in CGC. Maybe a title that gives you something useful. I dunno if the Ultimate Showdown Series is apart of your schedule but if not you could have a Showdown title, every 3 defences you get a wish up to 9 and if you reach 12 defences you automatically get a world title shot, another pre-cursor to another part of your CGC canon. Hopefuly this helps, and if not those belts they might inspire you to create something similar.
  11. I am so excited for this. Jack and Alex This is DeColt country after all Howling Dog I'm not a huge Mike fan (even if he is in my 2 favourite companies when CV97 begins) but I wouldn't be surprised if he won here as he's a big dude but Howling Dog is more over and a better character at the moment Mammoth Squash, Condor was an unprofessional asshat in my CV97 save but Mammoth should win anyway.
  12. Some DAVE Alum IPW Booker and Road Agent Vin Tanner PSW Vet Teddy Powell Retired Freddie Datsun (who got jacked working in a lumber mill apparently) Retired Chris Caulfield who got in shape for a DAVE Reunion show Chris Caulfield 2005 Art Reed Dunno why the Art Reed one came out smaller but I loved how good it looked
  13. So, Landon turns heel? I don't think it was massively clear that he did (maybe intentionally) but I take it he turned. I honestly expected a Burton/Orson v Cornell feud with Landon in the middle of it. One week he teams with Cornell and wins and they make a good team then week 2 he teams with Burton and Orson in a 3v3 and does well with them but can't bring himself to do the post match beatdown. He saves Cornell from a beatdown from a lower level heel group, but backs up Orson and Burton in a tag match helping them win, leading to a really intriguing story on who's side is Landon on. I think thats ruled out now, so Cornell needs more help. maybe time for Andrew Lee to make that leap. In hindsight, I probably should have included Martinez on the face side as well. I digress, but I am interested to see where that goes. Kenobi High [vs] Mark Misery and Smiling John Smithie w/ Emmett Askey You know the deal by now, they lose I riot. ‘The Rock ‘N’ Roller’ Sebastian Koller [vs] BW Eddie Koller is pretty good and probably needs to get that push to see if he can get to the top, BW Eddie is younger but doesn't have that upside ??? [vs] The Bern Boys w/ The Professor Tough. I'll go with Bern Boys as I feel they've been solid A Chance With Chuck: ??? [vs] ‘The Unsung Hero’ Chuck Frisby w/ Gulliver This is surely created for either A) A HUGE signing debut down the line or B) A big win for a young lower card star (such as Evan Alpass). Chuck needs to win a few first Clifford Wilson [vs] Vinny Vigilante HAHAHAHAHAHAHA No. Roly Muckletruck w/ Beast Bantom [vs] Mark Adonis w/ The House of Business Adonis needs this muuuuch more. Roly is meh for me, Adonis could be the man to unseat Prince down the line.
  14. ‘The Most Dangerous Man in Britain’ BEDLAM [vs] Lone Wolf He's been featured A Move from the Top Rope Wins It: ‘The Irish Stretching Machine’ Merle O’Curle [vs] ‘The King of the Cruiserweights’ Phil Harmonic A flying armbar counts right? The Lee FamiLee (JK and Gorilla) w/ Andrew and Cousin Konrad [vs] The Underdogs (Joe Simpson and Michael X) I don't think The Underdogs have done anything of note yet Crouching Storm, Hidden Sifu [vs] Nightmare and Ruin One of the better tag teams on the brand Welsh Dragon and Aurelian Bradley [vs] Kevin Jones and Jeremy Allen Monkey Business 4 Lyf ‘The Barcelona Bull’ Buff Martinez [vs] ‘The British Lion’ Leigh Burton Burton has more going for him, Buff is kinda lacking direction now
  15. I think my preference of the red brand is more due to the characters and stories over there (Eddie, Apollo, Cooper, Blackfriar, Koller, Frisby, Antithesis, Matravers, Kenobi High, Beauchamp, Martin Twins, Adonis, Cool, RJ Stones and Thompson now). Speaking of United, I disliked the title change. Not narratively, just dislike world title changes on free TV unless you are a product that is TV orientated (RAW in CV, AEW in RL). Course it's more a change due to the injury, which I think you probably could have gotten away with given there's not a PPV for awhile I believe. If Apollo won at a PPV, I'd prob love it as making new stars is the point of wrestling. Anywho, the PPV review. Graphics first. Kudos for making them relevant to the PPV name, which is a weird one. They worked well. Cornell/Robbins was better than I expected grade wise, even with negative chem and it had the right winner. Cornell v Orson should be pretty interesting, more on this later. The national match was something I was looking forward too. I honestly thought anybody could win it and I think Belushi is a solid new champ. Where does DBF go from here though? You call him a rising star but at 35, he's probably past becoming a main eventer, so what does he do? I'm interested. You don't seem too keen on Lee going for the big belt so he'll probably stay on the same level now. Buck joining the Booth. Huh, fair enough. I honestly liked face Winchester, we'll see if The Booth can help him go up the card. I haven't been invested Bedlam v War Machine, I just War Machine to go for the big belt, but with Orson as champ and Cornell as challenger, I can't see that now. The one thing I am very excited for coming out of this PPV, the whole Orson/Burton/Mallory sitch. I can see Mallory becoming a challenger down the line and this being the catalyst. Burton will surely turn on him as it's clear where his allegiance lies. Mallory could be the next champ if you play your cards right. The fact that Buff/Orson got an 83 is a shock to me. However, I thought is was a fun build with Burton and Orson and probably should have seen it coming seems Buff has kinda been an afterthought in the build up. Like DBF, where does Buff go from here? Burton? He's a tag champ, so unless you plan on a Hot Stuff reunion, I'm not sure about that. Feuds are few and far between on Kingdom. Maybe he stays in the world title picture, I guess we'll see. Honestly, I don't see anybody being able to carry the brand all that well. I's Tommy or bust for me. I understand why you'd keep him away from the title and I'm very happy you did not put Robbins over him, we'll see where it goes. Overall, it was a good show, but I do see United as a much stronger brand as I've mentioned, though I'm interested to see where some stories go on Kingdom.
  16. Cornell I'm far more interested in Cornell going for the belt than Loxley DBF This is actually a far more interesting match up in my opinion. Belushi is a good option, as is Lee. I personally feel Lee is destined for more than the National title. Belushi.... ehhh. So I'll keep the belt on the champ Winchester and D'Angelo Honestly a coin flip War Machine Another coin flip The Brat Pack Mallory and Burton shouldn't be a tag team going forward Martinez I'm not a huge Orson fan in this project. There are more interesting guys on the roster (Andrew Lee, Tommy Cornell, Loxley Robbins) who I'd prefer to take the belt off of Martinez. I'd question how you think Buff's reign has gone on Kingdom? For me, I find the United brand to be dominating the "war" between the two. MOTN will be Cornell/Robbins 0 title changes D'Angelo will not join Show rating 72
  17. Yeah I've tried "full body" myself to only get ignored. I'll try the kneepads/trousers trick, thanks.
  18. What prompt do people use to get the full length bodies (from thighs up)?
  19. Cornell Bedlam Ruin & Nightmare Andrew Lee Stoat and ??? Buff, Storm and Sifu
  20. Season three is in the books and YEPW Fully Charged XVII starts off season 4. We have plenty of intrigue going into season four so let's get into it. At the end of Season Three, The Soul Collectors still have a stranglehold on YEPW. Jester reaped another soul for his collection and Bile and Eraser became number one contenders for the tag titles. Not only that, Trey Tallman picked up a crazy upset win over the powerful Lone Rider, sending a powerful soul to the Realm of Darkness and one of YEPW's greatest defenders. With YEPW's forces dwindling who can stop Jester and his band of Soul Collectors. However, not everything went to plan for Jester. Firstly, Vortex, his creation to banish Australian Devil failed and is now buried in the ground. What does this mean for Vortex and The Soul Collectors? What does this mean for Australian Devil? Who knows? Perhaps the even bigger story, Ceri Dordevich, Jester's Queen, was the victim of an accident at Heroes or Ghosts with Jester sending her crashing through a table. What does this mean for their relationship? Is Ceri still with Jester? Could she be a valuable new asset for the YEPW forces? Only time will tell. However, we did get new tag team champion in Dick and Morty. Sturt was sent packing, but now these two have a huge target on their backs. The Soul Collectors are the number one contenders, but The Entourage will be looking for a shot too after they helped Dick and Morty win the titles and The Party People have also have a case having beaten them a few months back. With a plethora of challengers, will Dick and Morty's title reign end before it even begins? YEPW forces maybe dwindling, but AusDev and D-Pod came out on top of their battles at Heroes or Ghosts. Both men have a bone to pick with The Soul Collectors, AusDev has been battling them for some time now and Pod was forced to send his friend to the Realm of Darkness. What will season 4 bring for YEPW's last defenders? YEPW Fully Charged XVII Black Flash & White Wasp v The Party People Australian Devil v ??? YEPW Tag Team Titles Dick & Morty v The Soul Collectors (Bile & Eraser) YEPW Australian Title Jester v ???
  21. Cool and Stones Somebody new to take on the new champs Frisby Has a mini push going Bern Boys Named team geta the dub BW Eddie Coin flip Beskov Let Anitithesis move onto something else, maybe even the champ Prince As much as I think Adonis should win, Prince is the number one contender, this could be dq or count out or something but Prince should come out looking good.
  22. Jester/Silver just became the best match the company has had, beating Devil/Flash from the last show. Great to see both men perform on the big stage. I'm kinda glad you guys thought I had built Silver up enough to get the win here, but unfortunately the hero of YEPW, it wasn't his time. Jester reigns continues. I think you have to remember despite Silver being "created" at the beginning of season 1, he's not actually doing anything heroic until he challenged Jester, which is over two seasons later. He claimed to be a hero, sure, but did he really do anythig heroic> HiPlus used my analysis section to see that AusDev was going to win this one, curses! In all seriousness, I think you guys look at Vortex and because he is so talented you guys think he's going to be pushed to the moon, that's not how I operate. I'm more so a guy who let's storyline dictate who wins, Vortex was a late addition to Jester's gang. Also, Zombie Vortex... that's... much better than anything I was thinking, might used that later. Responding the Optional Questions comments I see your point here but this is interesting as I actually find that the opposite is true. I don't see Jester and his minions as campy, there is no wink and a tap the nose gesture at their act. They are real in the state of the YEPW universe. They actually collect souls and are being sent to a horrible realm to be ruled once they are. They are a real threat in the YEPW universe. He does things to suit him, he never says anything as a joke, what comes out of his mouth is the real article. I see it like comics or video games or a TV series or a film in that something may be unrealistic and you have to suspend your disbelief a little. In pop culture terms, he's my Thanos. My Darkseid. Although an unrealistic being, nonetheless a powerful and scary one. On the other hand, I find Sturt's act EXTREMELY campy. He's clearly not selling "flour", there's a "Hehe, I'm a baker" kind of, I suppose comedy to his character. I don't see it like I'm being funny nor is his character but there is a "if you know, you know" part to his character but he is a threat and a dangerous one too, but the whole baker and flour thing is campy to me. YEPW is a promotion aimed at a younger audience (in Cverse, he diary is supposed to be accessible to everybody), but has enough edge and subtlety to it that adults can enjoy it too. I think if you wanted to go deep analysis into some of the stories I right, you could find a lot of subtle hints into other or future parts of stories. I do agree that Sturt has done more heelish stuff though, like he's a lowlife and likes humiliating people and such. Jester just wants souls, which yano, certainly isn't going to win him the Nobel peace prize, but he's willing to give his opponents a fair shot at winning when they put their souls on the line, Sturt never gives his opponent an inch, he must have the advantage, unless you outsmart him. I think you may get your wish on this one. Dick & Morty are favourites of mine, especially Mortimer Pyle. Vortex is certainly something that has been very surprising. Sturt's ability on the stick definitely feels way better. Lone Rider has been doing a lot better. There's haven't been many pleasant surprsies. more so disappointing ones. Lack of pop being one of the main one's. Jester had 0 in Victoria when the diary started. A lot of things changed as the product changed. Moving from a 4C/ZEN hybrid to Cartoon Wrestling, where pop is a lot more important. However, I wanted the challenge, harder to build pop instead of using guys talent to get ratings, if I still had the original product, a lot of performance grades would be higher (Silver, Flash, Jester, Harding, AusDev, D-Pod). RAW have let 5 people leave. Autumn Gleeson. Raymond Royce. Doug Vallance. Brodie Lachlan and Frankie Liberteen, none of which were on my shortlist, too popular, though I'd love to bring in Autumn Gleeson as I have a role for her, but she has been acting a lot in game and I would need her to be available so, probably won't bite the bullet. From the active roster, with pop not being an issue, Kal Wayne might be cool. I could do some mirror universe stuff. Like the man faces of Mick Foley. The APP woulda been nice to have but didn't bring them back as pop is too high. Tombstone has potential as the leader a spoopy stable down the line. Outside of them, nobody is really jumping out at me. For Swoop, I was thinking he could lead a group of frat guys who happen to be supernatural hunters, like my version of the Ghostbusters. Swoop would be the most serious of them, leaving the rest to be a bunch of goofy ridiculous characters who make as much trouble as they solve. The Void is getting a serious look at for future seasons but need to find something for him to do. I have the character, I just don't know where he fits in. The Troll will be in the company at some point as lone as the diary last long enough for him to make an appearance. This was lovely to read and although I see John Lion's point, how you have described Jester is how I feel he's portrayed, which is great. I agree about the mask, looks weird, but I'll always have a soft spot for Jester now, he's one of my favourites. # I think you got your wish with Ceri given the season finale. She has been a background character as Jester is the talker. She's also ONLY managing Jester so she doesn't appear as often as she should. She'll get some spotlight in season 4. Lothario is in the tag scene with Blake Bushwell now. He'll be featured a lot more in season 4. Good call on an Eraser solo career, but he's Jester's underling right now, he's going solo no time soon. The Cutting Table Funny you said this HiPlus as I had planned a segment here for plans, ideas, characters etc that were cut due to a variety of different reasons so why not explore the one's that won't see the light of day here. Let's get too it. Jester's Opponents Despite being the champ for a year now, Jester's win over Silver was only his third defence. I wanted to get those numbers higher. I had plans for him to take on Black Flash post season 3. Being annoyed about him banishing Silver without Flash never being able to get a win over him, but time and just seems very complicated, I decided on something else. Lone Rider was also considered for season 4 but Lance Maddigan is garbage and I had to scramble by pushing Maddigan's fight with Trey to show 5 and Lone Rider v Trey for the finale. Getting Trey over with a big win over Rider in the season finale was a better idea than Trey v Maddigan. Maddigan was also fired post Heroes or Ghosts. White Wasp was legit supposed to challenge Jester during this season but he was brainwashed by Flash before I could do that. The Kipper back in season 2 was planned to challenge but I just didn't think it meshed well as both are heel characters. Tag Team Scene The original idea was that The APP was supposed to complete Sturt's test as the final test would have been them "doing him a favour", which would be they would have to complete a drug deal for him. They would so but the feds would have caught wind of the deal and bust them. Sturt would then be like "Oh no, nobody is here to challenge us" as he would imply that he knew it was a set up but The APP would arrive stating their court date isn't until a later date or something and they'd fight but lose, Sturt using his employees to sneak the win. This would also lead to us finding out that Wes Snorefesst was a mole in Sturt's gang to try and take him down. Hadn't decided if he was going to turn and cost Sturt or if Sturt knew he was a mole and converted him but it still would have given another wrinkle to Snorefesst's character, Dick and Morty then would be the main challengers in season 4, basically battering all of Sturt's gang but would also just humiliate them at every turn. Joseph Fornell would be arrested, Crime Wave's internet history would be released and Hardcore Henderson would be handcuffed to the most annoying person ever (probably a new character), stuff like that before eventually the accountant kidnapping would get them their title shot and they'd win at the season 4 finale. This changed as I don't have the APP anymore and Cook and Bonnar are nowhere near as good or nostalgic to me and I don't think they'd have the capacity to do what I needed them to do (character wise, I can get away with low rating) and I was also flirting with the idea of sacking them. This was the compromise. Lone Rider as champ Before Lone Rider became condemned to the Realm of Darkness, he was supposed to be the man to take Jester out. Never had the idea as to how, but he was THE GUY to rid Jester of the world when the original project began. AusDev defects Another original diary thing, when AusDev was outed as a former soul collector, he was supposed to full on turn adn be Jesters right hand man. People were digging face AusDev though at the time so I changed it. Vortex is fired Vortex was supposed to be fired (shoot) after he lost to AusDev at this show, your comments have kept him around. The ZEN Invasion At some point I wanted to have a ZEN invasion with Halloween Knight and Cyanide with a group come over, I don't think this is the way to got though. Want to build my own stars instead. Predictions Table Key Name - Score this event - Score Total John Lions 4/6 - 18/29 Azzak 1/6 - 18/29 HiPlus 3/6 - 17/29 Kyteran 1/6- 15/29 Tiberious N/A - 2/4 No predictions yet (we'll get to that when I have some of the shows written and I'll do the usual announcement post). but if you want to answer some questions, feel free to below. Heroes or Ghosts, thoughts on the show? The AI extra graphics for season finale, Yay or Nay? Should I fire any of the folowing? Cook & Bonnar, Wes Snorefesst. Where would like the diary to go? What are your excited about going into season 4?
