  1. YEPW Heroes or Ghosts Geelong 67 Number One Contenders to the Tag Team Titles && The Soul Collectors (Bile (E-) & Eraser (E)) v The Party People (Cody Cook (E-) & Toasty Bonnar (E)) This is a lot more even then one might think it was going to be. The Party People cause chaos, but Eraser can keep up. Bile comes in and uses his power, but Bonnar is able to use his non-stop energy to overwhelm him to keep the fight even. Reacher: Winner gets a shot at the tag champs, whoever they may be. Platten: A year ago I’d have no question who’d have won this match, now, The Party People have proven they can hang with the best. They can hang, but they can’t complete the upset. Bile uses the Mind Trip to make Bonnar go unconscious and they hit Souled Out on Cook for the win. Winner: The Soul Collectors Rating: E- Jester sits on his throne in the Realm of Darkness as D-Pod approaches. D-Pod: Jester, I understand Francis came to you to make our cage match a Realm of Darkness match too, but I can’t do it. Is there any way I can stop this? Jester: Loyalty, a valuable trait. I cannot do what you ask for. I was promised a soul. I will receive one. D-Pod I can get you another soul. I can find one. Jester: I could allow that, but I won’t. Burke wants this to be a Realm of Darkness match, he will get his wish D-Pod isn’t happy and leaves. Rating: D- Realm of Darkness Cage Match. Loser Gets Banished D-Pod (E) v Francis Burke (E-) It’s a nervy start by both men. Burke tries to engage but doesn’t want to make a mistake while Pod doesn’t want to fight his friend, especially in this situation. Eventually they engage. Pod is quick, Burke is aggressive and they trade moves. Platten: One man will be banished here, it started off uncomfortable, but both men know what’s at stake here. Reacher: You lose, you may become Jester’s minion if you can’t fight him off, neither man wants that. Burke gets the advantage, throwing up his knees on a Pod springboard splash. Burke takes control. He aggressively attacks. Flings Pod against the cage. And again. And again. And Again. With more and more force. Burke drops to his knees screaming. Platten: I think everything is becoming clearer for Burke. He knows he’s the problem and because of his inability to accept that, it’s come to this. Reacher: Pride is a hell of a thing. He knows he has to put Pod away now. He put them in this situation, it's either him or Pod. Burke gets up and sets him up, but Pod meets him at the top and superplex. Both men are down and are trying to get their breath back. They rise to their feet, Burke strikes first, Pod returns one, Burke gives a receipt, Pod sparks Burke, and again and again. Low blow by Burke. Burke tries to take advantage, but Pod doesn’t let him. Dropkick. Criss cross Crossbody. Pod climbs to the top, hesitates. Moonsault Press connects. 2… 3. Winner: D-Pod Rating: E Sturt Industries are backstage as Sturt and Snorefesst get ready for their match, Sturt doesn’t look too pleased. This is when The Entourage show up. Lothario: Sturt, you told us we would get a shot if we helped you, where’s our title shot? Sturt: You are right, I did say that. However, you could do me one more favour and you’ll certainly get it then. Lothario: We did you a favour give us our… Sturt: We already have a match tonight and if we aren’t the champs, you won’t get a shot if we aren’t champs. You help us tonight, that won’t be an issue. Rating: E Both teams are in the ring when Sturt takes the mic. Sturt: You know, I didn’t expect you of all people to extort a title match out of me, Morty. However, it was a pleasant surprise. Maybe your brief time with me made a little difference. That being said, I’m not an idiot. I agreed to a match, sure, but never said what type, well let me tell you. Sturt Industries and The Entourage walk down to the ring. Sturt: A lumberjack match. My men will surround the ring, you want to win these titles, you’ll have to beat my entire staff. Pyle grabs a mic Pyle I had a feeling you’d have something up your sleeve so The Party People and Fuzzy Freeman come down next Pyle: We also got some support. This isn’t going to be as easy as you think it’s gonna be. Rating: E+ Lumberjack Match Dick & Morty (Felix Harding (E-) & Mortimer Pyle (E)) v Sturt Industries (Vance Sturt (E) & Wes Snorefesst (E)) It’s a pretty even start, Pyle is flung to the outside, but neither side attacks. Reacher: Who’s gonna make the first move here? Platten: Neither wants to do anything, they could ruin their sides chances of winning, that’s the problem. Reacher: This match is gonna end up in chaos eventually. Pyle gets back in the ring and he and Snorefesst begin to exchange. Once Harding comes in and bounces around the place, Sturt tags in. Grounding the quick athlete but he fights back, of the ropes but Henderson pulls down the top rope and Harding bundles to the outside where Sturt Industries attack quickly. The Party People and Fuzzy run them off and give Harding some time to recover. Reacher: Interesting, The Entourage didn’t attack Harding there. Platten: I mean it wasn’t like there was much time, Sturt’s men had him swarmed in moments and The Party People had them run off in a few more moments. Reacher: I think there is a lot more strategy to this than what you think, Platten. Sturt shouts at The Entourage briefly before returning to his assault on Harding but Harding is able to counter and get the tag but Sturt is out of there as quick as he can. He won’t fight Pyle. Pyle does well against Snorefesst who wants to doze off, but he is no slouch and does some nice technical moves before chucking Pyle outside, but it’s to his teammates. Sturt isn’t happy. Pyle once goes on the attack with calculated strikes and Snorefesst is in trouble, but connects with a slick counter and jumps to tag in Sturt. Pyle is about to get up but Henderson pulls Pyle to the outside. They attack him but here comes the cavalry. Sturt Industries and The Party People with Fuzzy brawl on the outside of the ring. There’s chaos out there. However, The Entourage are free and they advance on Pyle. Sturt screaming instructions, getting angrier and angrier as The Entourage are taking too long, he’s losing his patience. He looks away, “Get em” we hear from Sturt. This is when Harding comes into play. He rushes around the turnbuckle runs along the apron and…. Jumps over The Entourage landing on Henderson and Snorefesst who were behind them with a cannonball. Platten: Was… Was Henderson and Snorefesst going to attack The Entourage? Reacher: I guess we’ll never truly know, whatever they were about to do, Harding saved them. The Entourage look at each other. The grab Pyle and fling him back in the ring. Sturt goes on the attack, stomping. He sets up the Crack-or-Jack and.. NO. Pyle counters. Clothesline. Another. And again. PYLE IS FEELING IT. He sets it up… And Sturt bails. He’s gonna get counted out…. BUT THE ENTOURAGE ARE BEHIND HIM. They won’t let him leave. They grab him and fling him back in the ring. Sturt begs for forgiveness. Not today. Clothesline and another. Powerslam. Pyle-Driver. 2…. 3. Pyle celebrates emotionally in the ring as Harding grabs the belts and hands them to him, raising his hands as the crowd cheer. Platten: This is what it means to Pyle. He fought and fought and nothing ever seemed to be enough. Sturt seemed to have his number but he never gave up, never gave in and now, he is one half of the YEPW Tag champions. Reacher: He may be the ultimate geek, but Pyle did what a champion does here tonight. He won when the odds were against him. He made sure Sturt stood across the ring from him tonight and he knew he could win. He believed in himself and you can’t not respect him for it. Congratulations. Winner and NEW YEPW Tag Team Champions: Dick & Morty Rating: E Realm of Darkness Match. Loser gets Banished. Trey Tallman (E-) v Lone Rider (E) It’s a real battle. Rider attacks with power and Trey dodges, getting some offense in as well. It’s a pretty even contest and eventually, both men look for weapons. Trey is first, bringing in a kendo stick that he cracks against Rider, only for Rider to fight through the pain and shoulder blocking Trey outta his boots. Rider gets a trash can. He hits Trey repeatedly with it, flattening the can completely. He then throws Trey in the corner and splashes him with the flattened can for extra damage. Rider is in control now looking to put Trey away but Trey isn’t going to go away that easily. He kicks out of a few big moves and begins to get back in the fight. Platten: Rider has thrown everything but the kitchen sink at Trey and still can’t put him away. Reacher: It’s likewise for Trey. They’ve certainly battled here, but I think whoever hits their finish first, that’ll be the deciding factor They trade blows, Rider gets the upper hand but Trey smartly pulls Rider to the outside. Trey goes out after him and Rider is waiting for him with the steel steps, Trey attacks the body, hitting him with pinpoint strikes in locations that would get extra damage. Trey throws Rider into the barricade and then takes the time to throw heavy handed strikes to his head. Trey brings the steps into play again, but Rider dodges and uses them to smash Trey into the face. He brings the steps and Trey into the ring. Platten: One man will be banished, we’ve already had one go tonight, who will it be? Reacher: I’m on the edge of my seat, these two… would you even call them men? Who knows what they are? Beings? Either way, they’ve battered each other and I don’t think this match is going to last much longer. Rider sets up the steps, and begins to bring Trey into position, but Trey fights back. They go punch for punch, but Rider gets the better of Trey, connecting with right after right. He lays him on the steps…. RIDE O…… NO! Trey moved. Rider crashes down hard. Trey capitalises. T-D-T on top of the steps! And that’s just enough. I can’t believe it… LONE RIDER IS BANISHED. Winner: Trey Tallman Rating: E Quick Silver is meditating backstage when the Prof. comes in. Ventris Getting ready? Silver Trying to stay calm. Just worried Ventris About what? You were created to be a hero, you have become so much more. Silver Yeah, but Ceri. She’ll be a factor. Ventris Don’t worry, I’ll be there to help, if Ceri gets involved, I’ll be the equaliser. Silver Thank you. I need it. We do this, YEPW and Wasp will be back to the way they should be. Rating: E+ Realm of Darkness match in the Realm of Darkness Australian Devil (E) v Vortex (E+) Devil walks through the portal to the place he used to call home. The cold wasteland is familiar, but he is on edge. The sand makes it difficult to move quickly as Devil makes his way to the grave, an empty hole in the ground awaiting the victim of the match between these two. Waiting for Vortex to show up Devil is wary of where he could pop up. There he is. He stands in front of Devil, but quickly disappears and is now behind him. He disappears again before returning but now Devil has disappeared.. He can’t find him. Suddenly, Devil attacks and now they can finally engage. Vortex takes control and breaks a piece of rock off one of the formations and uses it to beat up Devil but he is able to dodge one of the strikes which breaks it. Devil uses his surroundings to his advantage bouncing off of numerous rock formations before using his body as a weapon as they two warriors collide. Both men are hurt as they continue to battle as they come across a lake filled with a black liquid. Vortex is first to try and throw Devil in but he is able to stop before he falls. Vortex follows up but Devil dodges and he almost falls in. Devil tries to take advantage but Vortex swings around and catches him and Swinging Slam right into the lake, the loud splash is followed by deafening silence. . Platten: What.. on Earth? Reacher: Don’t think this place is on Earth, Platten. Platten But Devil just got slammed into that lake? Is he coming back? Suddenly, Devil flies out of the lake, the black liquid residue still stuck to his body. It seems to be making him lose power as Vortex takes control. Swinging Slam again. Vortex grabs his lifeless body and drags him back to the grave and is about to throw him in but Devil counters, and throws him through a small, spiky rock formation. Devil is struggling but is fighting with every ounce of his being. Vortex may be too strong though. They climb and climb up a big cliff and they fight on the edge. They trade blows. Vortex gets the upper hand, he tries to hit the final blow but Devil dodges and pushes Vortex off the cliff as he falls a long way onto the sand. Vortex begins to recover and gets back to his feet but Devil is on the attack. It’s now or never. Forearm smash, kick to the head and Vortex falls onto the grave using his limbs to keep him out. He can’t get up though and looks up to see Devil on top of a nearby rock formation. Tumbleweed leg drop. Vortex falls into the grave, his body gets smaller before it disappears into the darkness as Devil lies on the sand, trying to recover. Winner: Australian Devil Rating: E- Realm of Darkness Match. Loser gets Banished w/w/ Ceri Dordevich w/ Jester (E+) v Quick Silver (E+) w/ Prof. Ventris There is no love lost. Quick Silver charges and Jester meets him. They flail limbs at each other, doing their best to inflict as much damage to the opponent as possible as Silver gets the upper hand. Jester cackles , enjoying the pain as Silver delivers nasty kicks to the chest. Jester returns a knee to the face and Silver shrugs it off. Throwing more strikes, silver connects with heavy blows but Jester catches him and flings him to the outside, a suicide dive follows. Jester gets the weapons, a chair to begin with. He viciously hits Silver over and over, but Silver gives Jester a receipt, kicking the chair into his face. He flings Jester into the barricade and crossbody’s him, they both fall over into the crowd. Silver then goes for a big dropkick, he gains momentum, but Jester meets him with a clothesline. Jester then grabs his head and repeatedly smashes it off the steel barricade, his villainous laugh echoing around the venue. Platten My god, that’s sick. Reacher Yeah, but that’s what you have to do. Go to the next level. If Quick Silver can’t, he might as well throw in the towel now. Jester brings Silver back towards the ring but Silver recovers and pushes Jester into the steel post. He then uses the barricade to springboard off of, landing a crossbody. Out comes the ladder. Silver sets it up in the ring. He brings Jester in and sets him up. He climbs to the top and…..JESTER MOVES! Silver crashes and Jester orders Ceri to set up a table on the outside. She does so. Jester throws him off the rope and goes for a back body drop over the top rope and down to the table below, however, Silver lands on the apron and juts Jester in the gut, leaping in for a sunset flip, but that only gets a two, also forcing Ceri up on the apron. Platten: Ceri is making her presence felt. Reacher: And the Prof. is gonna make her a non factor. The Prof. is up beside her. He tries to get her out of the fray.It distracts Silver briefly, enough for Jester to come back to life and rush him, but he dodges… HITTING CERI AND THE PROF! THEY FALL OFF THE APRON AND THROUGH THE TABLE. Platten: Oh my god. They crashed and burned, Jester just knocked Ceri off the apron and through the table. Reacher: It was an accident, definitely. However, I don't know if Ceri will see it that way. Both men are taken aback, they stare at the wreck of broken bodies. Silver wants to go out and help but Jester takes advantage of Silver losing concentration. Headbutt. Punchline! That’s it. Winner and still YEPW Australian Title: Jester Rating: E+ Show Rating: E+

  3. New Year Riot Rumble Armando Guerrero, Jake D’Angelo, Jesse Tasman, Lance Lott, Lone Rider, Nathan Rigger, Reed Buckfield, Rusty Mills, Sulphur, The Kipper I had Tasman winning this but missed that both Rusty and Rider are here. Rusty will take it then Smokers & Suplexes vs Golden Grapplers I like Grapplers more. Though, I don't know what this win would do for them. Think it's a better booking decision for S&S to win, maybe Blithe and Bawes could feud then but I'll take Grapplers anyway Gareth Case vs ----- Case is being pushed, needs to win if that is to continue Sydney Championship Match Blackwell Bush vs Vortex © I don;t know if Bush can carry the Sydney title like Vortex and Dizzy have. The get a lot of promo time, something Bush is terrible at. Tag-Team Championship Match The Runway vs Lifeline vs The Devoted Souls © Yeah, you'll prob drop it to Lifeline if anybody deserves to win the belts but I say TDS retain. McGhee does need to throw Peril to the wolves though, he's better than a tag champ and having already won the big belt, dunno why he wouldn't try and get it again. Australian Championship Match Warmonger vs Adgee Cross © I don't know if Warmonger is end game for Cross. (Tie Breakers) Promo of the night - It's usually Vortex or Dizzy G but I'll actually go left field and say Stephanie Drucker. Think she'll get some time on the mic and deliver. Top 3 matches - . Hmm, I'll take two of the best workers in the company for one. Two, I'll put a lot on the Champs shoulders as I don't know how good Warmonger is gonna be. And three... surely the tag match will perform. 1. Vortex v Bush 2. Cross v Warmonger 3. GG v S&S
  4. I enjoyed that show. Lot's of storyline development, good fun and although I never really "aim" for this but some good ratings as well. (AusDev/Black Flash is the best match the company has had. Jester/Vortex put on the best angle we've ever had and the show was rated the best we've ever put on) All good things. Yeah, ye are pretty bang on with this. Lance was a storyline piece from the very beginning and although this didn't go exactly how I wanted (some sca (means news) on that after the next show). I still feel like it worked somewhat. As @HiPlus said, Trey's kinda got an aura about him now and I'm glad that's coming across to you guys too. Plus, @John Lions is right, Lance kinda sucks. All of you went with The Party People to win this and yeah, they were supposed to when The APP were in the diary. However, I don't have them now and these guys don't measure up. I scrambled to find a replacement and this was the result which is what it is. Again, more on this post Heroes or Ghosts. Really shoulda done this exact match last show with Quick Silver but I wanted to keep him strong for the season finale (next show). Still beating AusDev, even with interference is a big deal. I know I said gimmicks would be something we discuss but I have faaaaar more interesting analysis planned for this and the next show, maybe in the future we'll take a look, now, however..... Workers It all comes full circle. The optional questions were really just to see who you guys were enjoying and who you wanted to maybe see in the future. The roster is going to need a shake up at some point (not now, but soon) and I just wanted to get a clearer picture of who I should definitely keep and who I should be looking to bring in. Let's get discussing. Workers to Keep Vance Sturt If there was a guy who's the most over with the readers, it's probably Sturt. He's pretty good to be fair, but he's old but that doesn't mean he's going anywhere. He's been mostly a mouthpiece this season and I thinks that's where he'll be headed post in ring career. He's a YEPW original and he'll be here for as long as I can keep him, though he's not always going to be on screen. Vortex Vortex was actually on the chopping block until I realised he's actually very good in 2020. Lot's of people like him too, so I'll have to find something for him. I'm actually very much against "win now" workers in TEW. Guys that are just super talented and allow you to get crazy ratings, its kind of boring but Vortex deserves to have a job and I think I have something for him to do. Quick Silver Really glad to see people give QS some props. @azzak mentioned that there isn't a particular reason as to why he's liking QS, I think that's a pretty solid summation of him. He didn't "get hot" with an angle or match, he's just been consistent. A consistently good character who is consistently showcased on shows and feuds and a "good guy" that you want to cheer for. I'm happy with that. Jester I'm so happy Jester got a mention. Yes, he has been integral to the story we've been telling. I think he's a pretty over powering character and I think he's been really good. I'm glad you guys have enjoyed him or appreciated him in some capacity. Whether he sticks around or not... I'll keep that to myself. Lone Rider Nice for Lone Rider to have a following too. I like what I've done with him as I think it's given him an edge he wouldn't normally have. The fact he was mentioned and AusDev wasn't kinda sucks as they kind of go hand in hand in my head. (not like a tag team just how I think of talent) One thing Lone Rider has though, a YEPW original. He'll be around for a looong time. Trey Tallman Trey was my project for this diary when it began. A solid worker, he just doesn't have that pop, that x factor to be a big star, I tried to change that. I think I've done a better job this time around and he's a much bigger deal here than in the original. If there was anybody who didn't have to worry about job security, it would be Trey. Workers to Hire Rob Edwards Rob has been on my shortlist from the beginning. After using him a few times in other games, I know how good he is. I didn't have him in mind when I had the original diary but here, I wanted to find something for him due to how much I like him. The issue is he's in that Vortex territory, except he's even more talented, I don't like that. I needed to find a character that fit him for me to be willing to bring him in and @John Lions idea of a "Human Weapon" kinda rocks. I could see him running around in a gimmick like Jax from Mortal Kombat or when the Lin Kuei become robots. Definitely keeping that in my back pocket. Gareth Case I like Case but in the same vein as Edwards, gimmick is the issue. I have ideas, but that's down the line. Luckily he's young enough that if I did go with that idea, he'd still be an option unless something happened between now and then so yeah, he's got a shot down the line. The Void I honestly thought The Void was another one of those older former DIW workers who was over the hump, in their late 30's who's usefulness would be popularity and that's it. I was wrong, he's 31, a pretty good brawler with psychology, menace and some talking ability. In another lifetime, he could have been Jester's right hand man. Now, I think his window to get hired is closed. I don't need anymore back-up for Jester. Sexxxy SJB He's got the biggest asset you can have when I'm looking for workers, an interesting render. The mask on the lower end of his face makes me think ninja and after discussing Edwards possible Lin Kuei type gimmick, whose to say SJB couldn't come in to do that as well. Outside that, some charisma and his youth, yeah he's not great and I don't mean "oh, you ain't that good, I can bring you in", I mean as in "You legitimately aren't good enough to come in" and I hired Lance Maddigan. He's also small, but I'll keep an eye on him in case the right opportunity comes along for him. Monday Next I hired him in the original diary and he won't be making a return in this one. Too over, too talented, working in ZEN, all negatives. There isn't any reason to bring him in anyway, he'd job to nobody and I need guys willing to do jobs. Black Flash and Jackson Slade made a ruckus about putting guys over, Next would probably walk out. Troll I... have an idea for him already, but it's not happening anytime soon. I can pretty much guarantee if this diary lasts long enough, Troll will be in YEPW at some point. However, that's literal (in-game) years away. Hack the Hunter Certainly not a bad pick just not who I need right now. Hunter is a guy for the future and someone I can keep in mind for workers down the line, but right now this moment, he's not what I need. With the ideas I have, he could fit into something I have planned and fit in quite well, whether he gets chosen over some of the other talent out there probably won't be decided until that arc is ready to go. Predictions Table Key Name - Score this event - Score Total Azzak 3/4 - 17/23 John Lions 3/4 - 14/23 Kyteran 3/4 - 14/23 HiPlus 4/4 - 14/23 Tiberious N/A - 2/4 YEPW Season 3 Finale Heroes or Ghosts No.1 Contenders to YEPW Tag Team Titles The Party People (Cody Cook & Toasty Bonnar) v The Soul Collectors (Bile & Eraser) Realm of Darkness Cage Match, Loser gets Banished D-Pod v Francis Burke YEPW Tag Team Titles Sturt Industries (Vance Sturt & Wes Snorefesst) v Dick & Morty (Felix Harding & Mortimer Pyle) Realm of Darkness Match, Loser gets Banished Lone Rider v Trey Tallman Realm of Darkness Match in The Realm of Darkness, Loser gets Banished and Buried Alive Australian Devil v Vortex Realm of Darkness Match for the YEPW Australian title, Loser gets Banished Jester v Quick Silver Optional Questions Free question space, ask me a question about the project you want to discuss? Can be about the future, past, present, other features in the game etc, I won't spoil anything but I'm all up for discussion. I might use it for the future analysis post after shows for season 4. Who's the best heel in the company? Who would you boo based purely on their character in this diary? Who should be used more in the diary? Any worker you feel could be used better or more often?
  5. YEPW Fully Charged XVI Melbourne 75 D-Pod (E-) v Vortex (E) Both men bounce around the ring. It’s tough to keep up with every move and Pod does well to keep up with Vortex. Eventually though, Vortex gets the upper hand. Platten: Pod is in this. He’s on the defensive now, but he’ll get back into it. Reacher: This… being, or whatever he is kept Australian Devil down long enough to get a count out win, D-Pod will be an easy task. An easy task? No, Pod fights hard and stays in the match and Vortex can’t put him away. Burke comes to ringside and grabs Pod's leg and the ref admonishes Burke but get hit by Vortex who misses the attack on Pod. Burke jumps into the ring and attempts to attack Pod but Pod dodges and returns the punches. 1…. 2… 3! Burke is flung over the top rope. However, Vortex takes advantage. Swinging Slam. That’s it. Winner: Vortex Rating: E Jester comes to the ring Jester: Australian Devil, Are you listening? I am sure you are. I was thinking, how could I possibly punish you for leaving us. The Soul Collectors and to my surprise, it was your clone who came up with the idea. Go on, tell him. Vortex: We will fight in the Realm of Darkness. Not just in a match, but in the realm itself. Amongst it’s empty wasteland, where your next step could be your last, where it’s sand is cold to the touch and anything could be hiding underneath, in the end, two of us will enter, only one will leave. Jester: That’s right, Devil. I shouldn’t be surprised. You always were the most vicious and nasty of our team, and he, well he’s just like you. He’s so diabolical he wants to fight you IN the realm and one of you will be BURIED ALIVE!!! MYAH HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAAHA! Rating: D- Black Flash is backstage, skulking around. He turns one corner then another before stopping. Black Flash Finally Black Flash stands before a large metal door and smirks evilly. Rating: E+ Realm of Darkness Match Lance Maddigan (E-) v Trey Tallman (E-) It’s a brawl to start. This is personal for Maddigan but Trey has him scouted. He knows what’s coming but Maddigan lands a few blows. Maddigan gets the weapons but Trey is able to bring it back to a more technical affair. He uses a chain, wrapping Maddigan’s head and wrenching. Platten: Maddigan needs to realise what’s going on. This isn’t personal for Trey, he’s clear-minded. If he doesn’t he’ll.. Reacher Be banished? Yeah, I think he’ll end up there either way. Maddigan escapes and now both men get weapons. Kendo stick to the head by Maddigan, he follows up on the attack but Trey pulls him out of the ring. Maddigan gets up but Trey comes flying out with a suicide dive. Trey goes for the kill but Maddigan counters. He gets a table and sets it up in the corner. Maddigan tries to suplex Trey through it but Trey counters and twists him around belly to belly overhead through the table. Reacher: This is it, Maddigan’s gone. Platen: You might be right. 2… No! Maddigan gets his shoulder up. Trey goes on the attack again, but Maddigan fights back. Right after right. Trey pushes him away, but Maddigan pushes the pace. He sets up the Flatliner, but Trey gets out of it. They trade blows again and Maddigan gets the upper hand but Trey rakes the eyes. T-D-T onto the broken table, Maddigan’s banished. Winner: Trey Tallman Rating: E- After the match, Lone Rider comes out. Rider: After all this time, I found the man who was the darkness that brought me here. The man that I needed to put down. You Trey Tallman. The man who nobody noticed. You think you can bully people, force them to put their soul on the line. Well not on my watch. You and me, Trey. Realm of Darkness match. Next month. However, if I win, you can never be called back here again. By anyone. Rating: E Melissa Hey everybody, I'm Melissa and you might know me from such interviews as Lance Maddigan telling me what happened to him. Today, we have Francis Burke, Francis you face D-Pod in a cage next month, thoughts? Burke: It had to happen, Melissa. He ran. He didn’t want to fight. The only way I can prevent him from running is a cage. Plain and simple. Melissa Well, actually it was you who.. Burke You see, that right there Melissa. That’s the problem. I know what happened, I lived it. I don’t need to be re-told. Yet people keep on calling me a coward and blamikng me for what happened. This was D-Pod’s fault and what’s worse. I cannot be here with him. We cannot co-exist. I’ll always want to fight and he’ll always want to run. So, I came up with another stipulation. Melissa Oh? Burke It’s simple. Make it a Realm of Darkness match also. Melissa Whoa, Francis, you have to think about this. You’ll make Jester stronger. Burke No, Melissa. This has to happen. Next month, in a cage one of us will be banished and let me tell you, it ain’t gonna be me. Rating: E- The Party People are in the ring when Sturt comes out to announce the final test. Sturt The Party People make it to the final test, what a shocker…. However, you’ve only got one more task to complete. It’s actually pretty simple. Run the Gauntlet. You beat three tag teams here tonight? You’ll challenge us for the titles. You lose and nobody does. Good Luuuuck. Rating: E && The Party People (Cody Cook (E-) & Toasty Bonnar (E-)) v Crime Wave (D.O.A (E) & Switchblade (E)) It’s Sturt underlings that start the gauntlet and they press the issue with quick brawling tactics. They brawl like thugs but The Party People want to have fun and get back into it with crazy antics. Fast kicks, quick tags, controlling the pace, but Sturt Industries put the pressure on again. Platten If The Party People don’t pace themselves, they’ll tire out way before round three. Reacher Pretty sure that’s the point. They try to end it but Switchblade comes in and smashes Bonnar in the face and the ref calls it. Winner: The Party People by DQ Rating: E && The Party People (Cody Cook (E-) & Toasty Bonnar (E-)) v The Entourage (Blake Bushwell (E) & Lothario (E)) The Entourage are next but it takes a few moments for the match to start. Both members of Sturt Industries batter The Party People with chairs over and over again. Security eventually get them away but it seems the damage is done. Platten This is hardly fair. Reacher Life ain't fair. The ref gives them some time to recover and they agree to continue but it’s a slaughter. Lothario and Blake tie up The Party People with Lothario submitting Cook with the Love Triangle Choke. Winner: The Entourage Rating: E- Sturt: Well, what are the odds? The Party People failed and so no tag title match. Think I’ll go to Italy. Have a nice rest. Sturt is about to leave the ring when Pyle comes up on the screen. Pyle Hello Vance Sturt. Not surprised to see you screw another tag team out of facing you for those tag titles, much like you had Henderson screw us over last month. Like you screwed with everybody in the League of Tag Teams. You even screwed me over by tricking me into making a new formula for you. Probably got you enough money to employ all the men that stand behind you at this moment. I’ve thought of everything on how to take you down, or even just get the chance to fight you fairly. I even thought about calling the cops, but they know you. They know what you do, they won’t do anything. However, I’m not a person who can go outside the rules to get what I want. I’m not that guy. However, Felix,,, Felix is a different animal. He was my bully and now he’s my friend and he’s picked up some of his own strategies along the way. The camera is turned towards Felix who is taping a man to a chair with duct tape next to a desk with a computer. Pyle See Felix has the ideas, I have the information. See I know who this man is, he’s your accountant. He has all your financial records. And sending this to the government, maybe they might look into all those financial irregularities. Sturt goes crazy in the ring as we hear Felix chuckling on the audio. Pyle Now there is a way you can stop us from doing this. You put those titles on the line next month and we won’t press that send button Sturt doesn’t reply but as Felix gets closer to the keyboard… Sturt Ok. Ok. You got it… Rating: E+ Australian Devil (E) v Black Flash (D-) Flash and Devil are fast, too fast to keep up with. They exchange attacks. Flash with a kick combo, Devil with a springboard dropkick, but Flash counters the follow up attack and takes control. Reacher: Flash is a soul collector now and his speed is a little crazy. Platten: He was always fast, but he’s on another level now. Devil fights back though. It’s a very even battle that both men are trying to get out on top. They fight and struggle and knock down the ref. Vortex is immediately out and lays the boots to Devil and Black Flash helps. Silver quickly comes out for back up attacking Vortex and going after Flash. He throws pinch after punch as Vortex and Devil trade strikes also. WHAT THE?!?!?! It’s White Wasp. He runs down to the ring…. And rabidly assault Quick Silver. Platten: What on Earth? Reacher: Flash must've freed him earlier, he’s still in Wasp’s head. He viciously assaults his former mentor before turning his attention to Devil. Chair Shot. Swinging Slam. Senton Bomb, the ref is back to life and it just about keeps Devil down for the three. Winner: Black Flash Rating: E+ After the bell, the assault continues. They attack Devil viciously but Silver comes to the rescue, a chair in hand. Black Flash gets smashed. Vortex receives one too. As does White Wasp. Vortex flees. Flash isn’t far behind him. Wasp is knocked to the canvas and Silver grabs a hold of him. Wasp squirms and screams like a wild animal trying to be free. Security ushered by Prof. Ventris take White Wasp, who is still thrashing around trying to get free and they take him to the back. Quick Silver You know, I thought I was doing the right thing. Making sure I was always here to protect YEPW. I was the hero that was created to protect this place. I thought that by not putting my soul on the line, I would always be here to fight, but look at all the pain it has caused. My inaction has done so much to damage this place, my home. You unleashed, Black Flash, White Waso was released and all because I didn’t do what a hero is supposed to. I thought taking action would be worse, but I was wrong. JESTER!!!! You’ve wanted me to put my soul on the line for months and I wouldn’t do it. Well now, it’s time for you to get what’s coming to you. Realm of Darkness match, YEPW title on the line. You wanted it, you got it. We’ll finally find out if it’ll be Heroes or Ghosts who’ll prevail. Rating E+ Show Rating: E+
  6. Local Talent [vs] The Bern Boys (Schwarz & Piccard) w/ The Professor Jobby job ‘The Breeze’ Joey Beauchamp [vs] BW Eddie Eddie probably wins but Joey's ma boy ‘The Rock ‘N’ Roller’ Sebastian Koller [vs] Vinny Vigilante Koller is a star Evan Alpass [vs] Gulliver w/ Chuck Frisby Yeah, sorry Evan. Jobby Job 2: Electric Bugaloo Yuri Iliakov w/ Viktor Beskov [vs] Doomsday w/ Edward Cornell Yeah, Beskov should win this 21CW World Title Number One Contenders Match: Apollo Prince [vs] Adam Matravers [vs] Phillip Cooper [vs] J-B Cash Matravers is probably the better choice, but why not give Prince a go. He'll have to get some big wins over the next while to build to the PPV, but he can get there. Regardless, nobody of this group should beat Eddie for the belt.
  7. Eddie Peak/Big Cat Brandon in DAVE has always been my eternal rivalry. Just guys who both hate each other, it doesn't matter who is face and who is heel, they just despise each other. I always have Greg Gauge and Jay Chord be big rivals in TCW. Once Gauge is built to Major Star and Chord gets the belt, Chord v Gauge is a given.
  8. Not exactly a return to form but certainly a better outing for writing with this one. I was really interested to see you guys predictions. I really appreciated this, John Lions. Thank you so much. In terms of the network, it's not going to be anytime soon I just wanted to talk about it there as I had been looking at it in game. It would be a small broadcaster , Tiny coverage throughout Oceania, which would only cost 95k, which is incredibly affordable. However, we are not even 18 months in the business yet. YEPW needs more time to establish itself. That being said, I agree with the fact that the product probably does lens itself better to being broadcast. The venue is a much more achievable goal in the short term. 2.4k for a 100 capacity venue, 4.8k for 200. I'm not sure when I'd take the plunge on this. Maybe for Season 5 (January 2022 in game). We'll see. I think Dick and Morty's build up was good, but the pay off so far this season has been poor. They are very much a part of the tag scene (which is the second biggest part of the company) so I wouldn't say they haven't been main characters, they just haven't been going after Jester. If you are talking top heels, Jester is one and Sturt is certainly number two. He dominated and ran the show in the LOTT in season 2 and basically manipulated that entire tournament, playing with every team, screwed over a few of them and Sturt and Pyle have been at odds since season 1 and what he did to The Party People (or The APP in the original diary) was pretty bad too. I wanted to explore those relationships while also exploring the relationships of the tag teams as well. Sturt is actually crazy good heel, he's smart, vicious and ruthless, he's very easy to write for and for you to think DIW have him be running a similar gimmick in your game is a huge compliment. If you can create a character in a diary that becomes people's go to character for that worker, I think you have succeeded in creating something special and this made me very happy. Unfortunately, Sturt isn't where he was in 2016. Too old, shame. Sometimes I wonder if the Ceri and Melissa thing was/is stupid (similar to the commentary as sometimes I blank in what they should say) but it did seem to catch on a little originally and I'm glad you like it here. It's a weird one where, I think Ceri's 'story' was a complete surprise, but I feel like interviewers should have something that makes them apart of the show, makes them entertaining. I can see why all of you picked Dick and Morty. However, Vance Sturt had other ideas. Yeah, if there was ever a time to give Black Flash a big win over Silver, that was the time. I should have done it. Unfortunately, I didn't see it until you guys put in the predictions. That's on me. I think this works too, maybe just not as well. Also, I honestly thought Jackson Slade would not be welcome back to YEPW (he was disliked in the original I believe). He's in APW right now, which means he isn't really on my radar, right now. Maybe in the future. Talk the Talk Looking at the creative meeting section and today we're looking at Talk the Talk. There hasn't been many high graded angles or promos in the game so far, so I thought it would be interesting to see who are the best talkers in the company. No surprise to see Pod and Ceri here I need to use Ceri more. She's an excellent promo but she's not Jester and he needs to be the one talking and he's actually fine on the mic. Vortex was a surprise and he has taken huge leaps from where he was in 2016. He suffers from the same issues as Ceri, Jester is the talker. Reacher is on the desk, so he isn't going to be on the mic anytime soon. There's a few guys who are actually pretty solid on the mic and could get on this list. Felix Harding, Jester, Lothario (Lothar Prellinger), Switchblade. I'm not sure if they'll ever get to a point where they would get on this list. Speaking of which, there isn't many guys on the roster that get mic time. There's a few workers who get some bonuses from their gimmicks too. AusDev, Vance Sturt and Wes Snorefesst get boosts to their charisma, Francis Burke and Quick Silver gets a boost to Microphone, We also have a few penalties, Lone Rider's microphone goes down. I also just remembered that I was supposed to do gimmicks last time and I didn't do it and I also didn't do it this time either, next time maybe. 9. Yeah, it's nice when somebody gives you their thoughts, had someone do a short one in my diary recently and it was a really enjoyable read. I usually try and do posts like this when I get the chance, but you post too fast. 😛 I know it's really nice to read posts like this so I hope this inspires some people to do more around the boards. Match IV in the Best Of VII Series: ‘The Most Dangerous Man in Britain’ BEDLAM (I) [vs] ‘The Giant Client’ War Machine w/ Cliff King (II) I just prefer him Welsh Dragon w/ Aurelian Bradley [vs] ‘The Immovable Object’ Brickhouse Balder Not a big fan of either guy, but Balder is more over. (People talk about 21CW being the promotion of Bald guys but the amount of monster heels on the roster is a bit crazy.) ‘Cowboy’ Buck Winchester w/ Alfonso D’Angelo [vs] ???? Squash ‘The Neanderthal’ Andrew Lee w/ The Lee FamiLee [vs] Lone Wolf Andrew Lee has the potential to be a mega star with the right feud Crouching Storm, Hidden Sifu [vs] Landon Mallory & Leigh Burton Give the actual tag team the victory. plus Mallory and Burton shouldn't be able to co-exist ‘DBF’ Daniel Black Francis [vs] ‘Awesome’ Wade Orson Orson is actually significantly younger than I thought, so his rise to the top should continue.
  10. Okay, let's get to the analysis. Graphics were cool. I really like when people go out of their way to make a diary look good and to show how the PPV would look if you were actually watching it live. It did take me embarrassingly long to realise it's supposed to be like a police line-up but I think it really works with the way the PPV went. Stellar work. Though, I did look at every height you put guys at, I love looking at info outside of what you receive in game. In terms of the show, I enjoyed it. I'm surprised by Antithesis losing the UK belt to Beskov. Antithesis has been a pleasure for me to read about. There's an edge to his stuff that other people on the roster don't have right now. I don't know what it is, but he's been a highlight. I look forward to where it goes. Beskov is the break out of The Red Devils but I question his ability on the mic, putting the UK title pushes him to have to talk, which is good. This leaves Iliakov in a tough spot. He's not got the upside of Beskov, he's not got a shot at being relevant in singles competition and as a supporter/helper to Beskov, that's not good for him. My idea, a new tag team with Kelvin Bradbury. Big, bad, tough dudes who'd kick the crap outta you, perfect for let's say an Apollo Prince led stable, if you ever wanted him to have one. If you break up Kenobi High I WILL RIOT. Don't challenge me Lloyd, I will do it. 😛 Speaking of, can I say how much I loved the Cooper/Apollo feud? Destroying clothes and hats and owning and fighting in a shampoo factory, just yes. all of it. This is my kind of nonsense in TEW diaries. Gimmicky fun. I loved it. Wilson and Dragon as the tag champs, okay. You got me. I don't see the picture right now, but I am intrigued by where it is going. Antithesis, Cool/Stones, Kenobi High (sobs as they might break up), lots of ideas. Also, Mark Adonis, more on him later. However, my biggest question, The Martin twins, moving up the card? I can see why. Both got good SQ, can talk a bit, experience, really good all round workers, MW so big enough to compete, I could see myself cheering for a Martin twin going for the World title. And finally the main event which really was the pinnacle to the show as a whole. Mark Adonis was the star and him joining Cornell, yup, I get it. He honestly, doesn't even need time to get to a main event level talent cause he is already there. Bringing him in as an heir of the House of Business makes sense and in reality, I could see this turning to a Farooq/Rock sitch like in the Nation of Domination. Adonis may pass Cornell out before he's willing to give the reigns up, which is intriguing. You have something special here that I know you will deliver on, but where it goes, only you know that. Roly/Beast on the other hand. Ehhhh. I can see why Roly could be a big deal but a menacing babyface? I don't really like those. He doesn't come across like this megastar to me. His in ring work isn't there. Beast Bantom is similar but better in the ring. I actually like Bantom (as a heel) but I dunno. I get that Two big babyfaces puts Cornell in a corner and maybe forced him to bring in Adonis, despite not wanting to, but did to make sure he kept his title. I could see it and it's good storyline writing too. You also see the lack of mega megastars in 21CW in the brand split and you've done well to make people who were the definition of midcard matterlike Roly. My thoguth here are just my bias talking. Also, Mass Hulk. A really bad worker but has everything else. Is he in the House of Business aswell? I would think so. Maybe with a new tag partner, (Assassin might be a good shout) but I think Adonis NEEEEEEEDS to go singles now. I do like his new beard though. So, yeah. Loved to show. Looking forward for more.
  11. YEPW Fully Charged XV Geelong 64 Fuzzy Freeman (E-) v Vortex (E) Fuzzy is very relaxed and we all know that is not going to go well. Vortex is on a mission and he attacks Fuzzy with viciousness Platten: I feel sorry for Fuzzy, he just wants to be friends with everybody. Reacher: He's got a doctorate in Watermelonology, he'll be fine. It's a quick one, Vortex destroys Fuzzy and a Swinging Slam later and Fuzzy's counting the lights Winner: Vortex Rating: E- Melissa: Hey everybody, I'm Melissa and you might know me from such interviews as when Quick Silver thought he was going to beat Jester and tonight, I have Lance Maddigan. Lance, are you okay? Maddigan: I am Melissa. I was.. Brainwashed and Lone Rider did what he needed to bring me back. I appreciate that. However, Trey Tallman is my mess to fix. Melissa: You and Lone Rider face The Soul Collectors tonight, why are they in your sights? Maddigan: If I’m going to get Trey Tallman one on one, I need to get Jester’s attention, beating his underlings will do that. Melissa: Alrighty. Back to you. Rating: F+ D-Pod (E-) v Francis Burke (E-) It's a bit of a tentative start to the match, Pod isn't willing to engage early on as Burke is aggressor. Burke then takes control as Pod won't hurt his friend, even after his comments last month. A flurry of attacks by Burke cause damage to Pod, Burke is relishing this. Reacher: Yes, Burke gets his revenge. Platten: Revenge? Burke was the reason they lost the League, not Pod. Reacher: Don't start with that. Pod deserves this. Platten: That's just ridiculous. As Burke continues the onslaught, Pod begins to get a fire lit under him. He returns a strike, Burke can't believe it. And another, Burke tries to fight back but Pod knows him better than anybody. He dodges a strike and a kick and returns a combo. He's getting fired up, one punch, second punch, third punch. Burke bails quickly out of the ring and walks up the ramp, the count gets to ten and Pod gets a win Winner: D-Pod by Count Out Rating: E With Burke half way up the ramp, he gets a mic Burke: You see this is why you're a coward. You... You run away from any issue, you wouldn't even attack me and now you are running away now. So this is it, You and I Pod, in a cage so next time, you won't run away. Rating: E The Party People come out to the ring awaiting their opponents. However, it's Vance Sturt that makes his way to the ramp. Sturt: I bet you're laughing at me, you insolent fools. I gave you a way into this place and you repaid me by turning your back on me, you could have had all the... flour... in the world and you threw that away and now you chase after me. Well, you still have two more challenges to complete. Last month, you showed me that you are nothing but a bunch of schemers, like that pipsqueak Mortimer Pyle and tonight, I'm going to show you how cruel I can be. Tonight, your opponents are... DICK & MORTY!!!!! One of you fails the challenges tonight, I'll make sure of it, oh and if it ends as a draw, you both fail and nobody gets the title shot. You want to play dirty, I can play dirty. Rating: E+ && Dick & Morty (Felix Harding (E) & Mortimer Pyle (E)) v The Party People (Cody Cook (E-) & Toasty Bonnar (E-)) The match starts with a show of sportsmanship, The Party People extend their hands and Pyle shakes it, it takes some persuading on Pyle's part to get Harding to shake hands but he does. It's an even affair. Harding's athleticism is crazy, the Party People fly around with reckless abandon and Pyle calculates every move. It's a great showing from both sides and it shows both teams would be worthy challengers for the tag titles. After a very even back and forth. Dick and Morty begin to pull away, Pyle's calculations and Harding's athleticism have given them control and The Party People create chaos trying to get back into it. Then Harding flies off the top rope knocking down all contestants including the ref. They're all down, Harding starts to move and get back up, he could get the cover right now. Reacher: This match is a joke. Platten: What are you talking about? These are by far the top two contenders? Reacher: Who cares? Platten: I'm sure these people do. What the.. Henderson. What's he doing out here? He attacks Harding with a Lariat and puts Bonnar on top of him. He revives the ref, he count's it. NOT THIS WAY! 2..... 3. Winner: The Party People Rating: E && Lance Maddigan (F) & Lone Rider (E-) v The Soul Collectors (Bile (E-) & Eraser (E)) Rider and Maddigan aren’t quite the team of the Soul Collectors, but they’re no slouches. They keep up, with Rider really pulling his weight. Maddigan comes into it as well, he brawls with Bile, but he may be too strong. Platten: Maddigan is trying so hard, but if he’s not careful, he’ll lose this Reacher: I mean, he may be a preacher, but he’s not as strong as The Soul Collectors. He understands he can’t do it himself and Rider comes in. He’s ready to bring justice. Eraser gets a forearm. Bile tries to attack, Rider turns it into a Ride On and that’s it. Winner: Lance Maddigan & Lone Rider Rating: E Maddigan grabs a mic after the match. Maddigan: Jester, you turned my brain to mush and I want revenge. We beat these two, now I want your other lackey. Tell Trey Tallman that I want him one on one. It is not Jester who shows up, but Trey himself. Trey: You want your revenge, Maddigan? I get it. All you had to do is ask. You didn’t need to beat The Soul Collectors for me to fight you, I have no qualms in putting you down. Maddigan: You wish, next month, I’m going to put you down. You ain’t.. Trey: No no, Maddigan. This isn’t just any fight. You want to get me one on one, then you know the rules. Put your soul on the line and you’ll have me all to yourself. Rider vehemently shakes his head, wanting Maddigan to refuse. Maddigan: DEAL! Rating: E- Black Flash (E) v Quick Silver (E+) It's a fairly familiar sight as these two stand across from each other. Silver seems more focused then ever, Flash seems to be ready too, though not himself. He is a soul collector after all. Platten: This isn't like anything I've ever seen. Reacher: Black Flash and Quick Silver are complete rivals, nemesis, this feels so familiar, but also, very different. It's Flash that starts the fight better, he's stronger, faster, maybe even better, but Silver has no issue in dodging his attacks, both men are created as supers. Flash connects with a kick but Silver returns one before they collide in the middle of the ring, but they get up soon after exchanging blows. Platten: Right after right, these two are going at it. Reacher: Well, of course, these two hate each other, whether Black Flash has been converted to a soul collector or not. Platten: Converted isn't the right word, I don't think so any way. Reacher: Whatever the word is, it doesn't matter. Silver and Flash are very even and it's tough to separate the two of them. They trade moves but neither man can put the other away. A double clothesline knocks down both men.. Out of nowhere, the Soul Collectors run out and attack Quick Silver, the ref has no choice but to DQ Black Flash. Winner: Quick Silver by DQ Rating: E The bell rings but the attack continues. Jester: Poor Poor Silver. You know, it doesn't have to be like this. All I want you to do is put your soul on the line and I'll let you be. No more interference, you can free your little buddy, be free. Of course, that's if you beat me. It's up to you Silver. We'll make it really difficult for you, it's up to you Silver. Put it on the line, or suffer. MYAH HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAAHA! Rating: E Show Rating: E

Sebastian Koller and Aldous Blackfriar [vs] Blackheart and Chuck Frisby w/ Gulliver Koller and Blackfriar are being built 21CW UK Championship: Viktor Beskov | Jase Cole | Christopher Lister | Luke Cool | BW Eddie | Antithesis (c) I'm much more interested in Antithesis facing Cliff Wilson than anybody here Cain Carlisle and Rolling Johnny Stones [vs] Grave Digger and J-B Cash A complete toss up. He's a fave of mine 21CW United Tag Team Championships: Absolutely Flawless (c) [vs] Clifford Wilson and UK Dragon Absolutely Flawless need to have some legit opponents. As good as Wilson and UK Dragon were they're old now. 21CW World Championship: ‘The Squashasaurus’ Roly Muckletruck [vs] Beast Bantom [vs] ‘All Business’ Edward Cornell (c) I don't think either of these guys should be end game for Edward. They shouldn't be. Not yet anyway. I like Beast Bantom but ehhhhh. I'm less of a Roly fan. Of all teh worker from SNP to be signed, I would have thought it would've been Meathead McAuliffe. BONUS: 1). How many Titles will change hands…? 0 I actually really enjoy all three champs 2). Who will take the fall in the Main Event…? No one, some kinda bs finish such as DQ or the like 3). Which match will be the Match of the Night…? main event Oof, not clear cut. The Uk title match may be pretty good too but I'll bet on Cornell
  14. I feel your pain with the whole hitting a wall and things not feeling "right" or being the way you want them. It happens. I've read diaries that have gone on hiatus and come back a few weeks later, just to clear the head and I think this is a great way to reset and start from where you want to go next. I'll be following SZW and your work regardless. That being said I am very excited to see where SZW goes from here. Big salute to @John Lions for those superb graphics and the event rotation idea is actually stellar. Allows you to come up with traditions or show gimmicks that won't go stale as they don't come around every year. I like how seriously you are treating the switch to a weekly show. It's a big deal and you've put a lot of effort into understanding how big a deal it is, massive props to you. Looking forward to the shenanigans weekly shows usually provide. I really enjoyed your breakdown of the roster and how that effects your booking. I've heard a similar strategy before of "Pick 6-8 guys, make feuds with them, fill in the blanks with the rest of the cast of characters you have" which is a really excellent way to look at things. You breaking down how Tier 1 and Tier 2 fit into how you book things is a really cool insight into how you see your roster aswell as giving us and indication of how you jump up or down tiers, very interesting. I've never used the model myself but I probably should, it seems to be a much more streamlined story making it make a lot of sense from show to show.
  15. Continuation of this, haven't been playing as often as I'd like but recently made it to Chaos in the Cage. Alex stands as a DeColt alone facing off against Doll the Runaway Bride's (Her actual name) Army. She comes out with her army to begin the road to Chaos in the Cage, She says Jack maybe the number one contender but not for long, using the voodoo doll she forces Jack to lay on the ground as Xavier Austin pins him, she counts the three. She states that everybody saw Xavier Austin beat Jack for the number one contendership and they are coming for Steve. Alex has a promo later in the night saying he will defend CGC, hold the fort until Steve returns, by himself if he has to. The next week he faces off against Xavier Austin. He wins, but only because Jack interfere's thanks to Doll's controlling of him. The beatdown begins. Steve is hurt, Jack is on the other side, who can help him? Steve Flash, that's who. The fastest rising star in CGC runs to the ring and saves Alex. Surely, the inevitable tag match comes to fruition the very next week, Alex and Flash v Austin and Jack? However, that seems unlikely as Flash has the TV title and Eric Tyler (More about this later) has forced him to defend it every week, this week the dangerous John Maverick gets a shot. Doll asks Alex who'll be his partner now and Alex ensures her he'll find one. Flash beats Maverick, but had an Armbar latched on for awhile, so he's not in the best of shape. Alex goes looking for a partner. The majority of the faces (aka the Job guys) are too scared of Doll to help Alex. Moose Mulder wants to help, but he's been battling Dan DaLay and Alex feels that'll just be more trouble. Similarly, Team Toronto (Alexander Robinson and Lee Bennett) also want to help, but the Soldiers of Fortune have been feuding with them. Ed Monton says he's busy (even though he doesn't seem it) while The Flock are stuck in their locker room as a dog (a small sweet one) has herded them in there and won't let them out, which Alex doesn't understand. Alex says he'll go alone but Flash stands up saying they'll go with the original plan. Alex and Flash v Jack and Austin. It doesn't go well and the injured Flash costs them the victory. Finally, a beatdown with no interruptions. Not so fast, a still clearly injured Steve DeColt returns only two weeks after being thrown off a stage. Doll can't believe he has returned. The next week, Doll asks Alex if he can really trust Steve, look at everything he said about you. Alex has no qualms or reservations about his brother. They talk later in the night, Steve assures him he's 100%. He's not. They face a newly heel Ed Monton and Jon Jetson, The Canadian Enforcers. It starts poorly, but Alex pulls it out of the bag. Also, Jack's temper has reached an all time high. He can't help his brothers, in fact, he's fighting them. Every second fighting the voodoo is making him weaker and gives her more control over him. He blows a gasket at her (after beating Eddie Chandler who grabbed Jack's junk, but as he's being controlled, it didn't affect him) saying he's nobody's soldier and he'll fight til the end and that's a DeColt Guarantee (Jack came up with a new catchphrase in this segment, couldn't come up with anything original so stole one from Self). Doll says so be it, keep fighting. The weaker he gets, the better it is for her. However, something seemed to give her an idea. Flash also faced Xavier Austin in the main event for the TV title. Austin won, by count out though. Steve and Alex save him from a beatdown. Week 5 of 6 in the build up and Jack is up for a shot at the TV title. He loses by DQ as Xavier Austin interferes, but Alex and Steve rush to the rescue again. Later a now fully heel Eddie Chandler talk to Steve. He says the only way to beat a guy like him is by getting in his head, so he has a plan. He pulls out Jack's voodoo doll, Jack emerges from behind the curtain and he stands on the ramp with him. Eddie gyrates and feels up Jack, Steve isn't too happy, Eddie tells him come save his brother but Steve does nothing. That's until Eddie plants a kiss on Jack's cheek, Steve's had enough mocking and rushes to save his brother, Austin attacks from behind. Eddie chuckles "We have, shall we zay, teamed up for zis evening" They throw Steve in the ring, the bell rings and Chandler does the most provocative pin he can think of to get get a major upset wi....,. NO! Steve kicks out. Austin has left ringside, Doll is nowhere to help. Eddie is alone. Steve batters Eddie. Eddie tries to use numerous underhanded tactics. A slap on the bottom, no response, Steve's a jock, he's used to getting a slap on the bottom in the locker room. grabbing his junk? A kiss on the cheek? Steve is blinded with rage, he doesn't care and beats him. After the match he tells Doll she better hope Xavier Austin is enough because he'll stop at nothing but to banish her from CGC. The last week before Chaos in the Cage, The DeColts say they will save Jack, but Doll states the only way she'll let him go is if Alex beats him in a cage. Alex reluctantly accepts. Alex then faces Xavier Austin and beats him (misclick, Austin was supposed to win but I found an alternate story). Alex takes an almighty beating, taking in information as a way to find the weakness, find a way to beat him. He finds a way, but it's not clear what it is and Alex counters a move and hits the DeColt Driver and wins by the skin of his teeth, what could he have possibly learned? Chaos in the Cage is here. First up Alex v Jack in a cage match. The match is even. Jack is being controlled but Alex counters a lot of moves that's been thrown at him, how does he know what he'll do? Alex refuses to strike his brother, dodging and weaving and trying to sneak a victory with a school boy or escaping out the door, this is when Jack finally gets ahold of Alex and Alex smashes both himself and Jack with the steel cage door by accident. Jack is busted open, he got the brunt of it. Alex is hurt but is about to get back to his feet when Barry Bowen returns. Running down he busts open the door and destroys Alex before pulling Jacks lifeless body over him for the three. Why would Bowen help Doll? Wait a minute, she has Bowen's voodoo doll.... The one Steve dropped out of the bag back at WF... was Barry Bowen's. Bowen felt that the DeColts were doing something to him, but it was Doll controlling him and now, he joins her Army. In the main event, Steve faces Austin. Austin is powerful and hits some big moves but Steve is doing a pretty good job dodging as Alex would. Doll is absolutely freaking out on the outside, why won't anything she's doing with Austin's voodoo doll work? That's the thing, Steve can see her manipulating the doll, he knows what's coming because he sees her do with the doll, Alex is a genius. Knowing Doll knows this now as she begins hiding what she's doing with the doll, Steve needs to end this quick and he does. Steve retains his belt, but now they have to deal with Barry Bowen too. In other feuds, Eric Tyler and Steve Flash have continued their feud. Tyler has been talking a lot about if Flash joined him, he'd be world champ and yada yada yada. Flash was busy with the DeColts so hadn't been doing much with the SOT. Tyler beat Flash in an exceptional match in a cage at CITC. Speaking of, Dan called out anyone who thought they were bad enough to beat him at WFD1 as a warm up for Flash on D2, Moose Mulder answered the call. Mulder lost, only just though and Mulder stated if he landed a Moose Punch he'd have won. There's not been much about this feud, but Dan interefered in some of his matches, the SOT talk crap about them when they have mic time, usual heel stuff. Soldiers of Fortune v Team Toronto (Alexander Robinson & Lee Bennett) are in the same predicament, but Bennett got hurt early on in the build and that ruled him out for the tag match, Condor took his place (but he phoned in his performance because he's an unprofessional twat and doesn't realise being a LW in CGC means jobber) but SOF successfully defended their belts. Maverick and Archangel also feuded, nothing much happened as I hadn't much time to fill. Archangel had some squashes, Maverick had some matches, they had a stand off and Maverick beat Archangel at CITC, had to happen unfortunately. Next we have the Ultimate Showdown series. 8 weeks, 10 events, 10 competitors, 1 winner. 3 wishes on the line. The Competitors are as follows in alphabetical order: Alex DeColt, Battering Lamb, Dan DaLay, Eddie Chandler, Jack DeColt, John Maverick, John McClean, Moose Mulder, Steve Flash & Xavier Austin (Bowen was supposed to be in it and not Austin but he's not been very good. Underwhelming which is why Bowen has taken his place in the World Title scene, Bowen was always planned to be apart of Doll's Army but as a secondary piece, now he has to be the ace). I'm very much looking forward to this.
  16. I was really excited about this project (still am) but this show felt, ugh. I feel like my writing isn't up to snuff yet (I am back after a significant hiatus I guess, excuses) but I'll get there. It's made me a little down, but I'm happy I have a few people willing to stick with the diary despite my lacklustre writing. I guess I didn't explain Vance Sturt Test too well in his promo. The test basically means if you lose, you are out. You must beat all three rounds to qualify for the tag match at the end of season 3. I also just realised I typed The Australian Party People instead of The Party People (Cook and Bonnar). Wow I am an idiot. That's my bad guys sorry about that. I said I was going to write about gimmicks next, but I don't want to. I don't really think these analysis sections are getting over with you guys and that's fine, this is more for myself. I need to write less and have more interesting discussions I think, I guess I haven't had that yet. One of the things I would love to take a look at are SWF and TCW who are getting absolutely raided to hell and back by USPW and EILL. You should see USPW's roster, it's actually ridiculous. For this section, I want to look at Investments. INVESTMENTS Something I very rarely do in TEW is investments, other than making a dojo or child comapny. I never think about creating a network or my own arena, I never see the draw. In this game, I can see why I would want to do it. For one, there is no way I'll ever get on TV/PPV in Australia. The broadcaster with the smallest coverage right now is The Bloke Channel that requires 30 pop in 5 areas, I have 13 in my highest, yeah. Wrestleworld doesn't come in Australia for awhile but I have edited all the Wrestleworlds so that you have to have at least 50 pop in 1 area to get a deal, because I think it completely changes the Verse when you have all the companies in the US at medium or higher, it ruins the balance so it only allows top indy promotions to get a deal (CZCW and PSW are about 2 years away from getting one given their current trajectory). This works for me but it means I may have to splash the cash and get our own network down the line. The second is I really like the idea of having a home arena for YEPW. Having a building with areas that YEPW need. Hero Locker Room, Villian Locker Room, Portal Room, Prison Cells, Interview area, Interrogation room. All very important. I'd very much like to hear you guys opinion of this. Some of the stuff isn't that expensive for the lowest level. I don't think I've ever actually used Price though, which seems weird given I'm such a big fan of his.
  18. YEPW Fully Charged XIV Melbourne 63 Melissa: Hello.. Rider: Melissa, I don't think it's time for games. Melissa: Games? Rider: Yes. We must quickly move to the issue, Lance Maddigan. Melissa: Of course, so.. yeah, whats up with him? Rider: The evil that coursed through him is a not true. Melissa: I'm sorry? Rider: He's been manipulated or controlled by Jester in some way, Trey Tallman did something to him. He rewired him into thinking that I am Jester, that I am his enemy, that I am the man that wants to destroy this place. It is regrettable. I must stop my pursuit of Jester now, so I can free this innocent pure soul. Melissa: But if he's a soul collector... Rider: Soul Collector? No, Mr Maddigan is not a follower, just a victim, that I can assure you. All I can do now is save him. And a hard smash to the head will bring him back. Melissa: Sure, now, to the desk. Rating: E Lance Maddigan (F+) v Lone Rider (E) Maddigan is vicious in his attack early in the match and Rider can do nothing but dodge the onslaught. One eventually does hit though but Rider returns a forearm of his own. Maddigan is able to rush at Rider then and take him to the ground but Rider is able to kick him off Platten: Maddigan has been really good here Reacher: Of course, he's a friend of Jester. Platten: Uh, I don't think friend is the right word. Rider comes back into it but it's really even and they trade huge blows in the middle of the ring. It's intense as Rider then comes back into it as he throws Maddigan into the corner turnbuckle but Maddigan explodes out of the corner. Maddigan then goes and gets a chair but Rider is able to stop him from using it. The chair drops to the canvas as Rider strikes Maddigan over and over before dropping to his knees. Rider looks to set up the Ride On but Maddigan, while on his knee's grabs the ref and he gets hurt in the crossfire. Maddigan then grabs the chair, swinging it wildly towards Rider. Rider dodges, and again, and again, before smashing the chair into Maddigans face. The ref is up, Maddigan seems confused, Ride On! 2…. 3. Winner: Lone Rider Rating: E Backstage, Mortimer Pyle and Felix Harding are sitting backstage. Pyle looks very worried. Harding: Yo, Morty, your face is making me sad, I only like it when you have a sad face on when I inflict it. Pyle: Wow, thanks Felix. Harding: Oh, come on dude, we friends now right? Just tell me whats wrong? Pyle: This match tonight against Vance. I've wanted it for so long but I know him, he's gonna have a plan that's going to screw me and then, we'll be done for. Harding: Oh, don't worry about him, you'll be fine. Pyle: I don't think you are given hi enough credit. I mean, you're banned from ringside for my match and Fuzzy, he's band from The APP's match, so... Harding: What is it? Pyle: I... think I have an idea. Rating: E+ & &&&w/ The Party People (Cody Cook (E-) & Toasty Bonnar (E-)) v Vance Sturt Industries (D.O.A (E), Henderson (F), Snorefesst (E) & Switchblade (E)) w/ Joseph Fornell As one could imagine, The Party People struggle with the numbers, especially with Henderson starting the match. Although there are short spurts of them coming back, they just don't have enough to keep it up. They are outnumbered and outmatched. However, when Switchblade misses a clothesline and hits the ref, things start to look up. Platten: This doesn't look good. Reacher: Oh, shut it. It's about time these jokers got their due. However, out of nowhere a masked man comes down to the ring with a chair. Not expecting anybody to interfere, VS Industries are taken by surprised. Fornell is first to feel the chair from the masked man, then it's D.O.A, Snorefesst also is smashed as well as Switchblade. Henderson is still standing after a shot, then another and another, but another shot knocks him down to his knees before a final shot KO's him to the floor. With Switchblade down, the masked man drags Bonnar over to the KO'd Switchblade and covers him, before reviving the ref and he counts the pin. Winner: The Party People Rating: E - As the masked man is in the ring, Vance Sturt comes out to the ramp, a large smile on his face. Sturt: Ohohoho, very funny, good plan, Party People have Fuzzy Freeman dress up in a mask so we can't be disqualified, well, guess what, I don't care. The Party People are out! The masked man grabs a mic, he seems to be smiling. Masked Man: Oh, I don't think the Party People are going anywhere.. The man takes his mask off Pyle: Well, Mr Sturt, I was not banned from ringside, so Party People's win is perfectly legitimate. They beat your challenge and they did it within the rules you set and speaking of beating your challenge. Felix Harding shows up from behind Sturt and grabs him by the head and throws him into the ring, with Sturt's associates laid out around the ring and the Party People still hanging around, he's in trouble. Harding leaves as the Sturt and Pyle match is next. Rating: E+ Mortimer Pyle (E) v Vance Sturt (E) With no buddies and Pyle standing in front of him and The Party People at ringside, Sturt tries to beg for mercy. Platten: Ooooh boy, yes! Reacher: I... This can't be. Platten: He's been outsmarted, Pyle's going to get some revenge. But it doesn't work, Pyle goes in for the attack, setting up the Pyle-Driver, but Sturt escapes and bails through the crowd. The ref counts him out. Winner: Mortimer Pyle by countount Rating: E- Burke: So, after beating you up, throwing you into the garbage and going solo, you want to come back and be friends again. It makes me laugh. Pod, we are not friends, you made us lose the tournament and if I had anybody else with me, I would be a tag champion by now. So, it simple Mr. Pod, I want you gone from here so.. D-Pod: Look Burke, you and I, we deserved to lose that tournament. We both are to blame and obviously you are having a hard time coming to terms with that but that's fine. All I'm going to say is that, I ain't leaving and until you realise that we both were the problem, you'll have to deal with me. Burke: Oh, yes, be the so called bigger man, this isn't about us not being able to tag together again, I couldn't care less, all I want is gold around my waist and you stopped that from happening. D-Pod: Okay, blame me all you want, but we both know that this has nothing to do with me. You were rejected by your idol Gregory Grace, then we lost the tournament, just because you've had some bad luck doesn't mean you can't... Burke's had about enough and attacks Pod. He beats him down to the mat throwing strong clubs at him and kicking him hard, Pod is hurt. Burke: I am not unlucky... I will show you just how good I am next month, maybe you'll see just how much you held me back then. Rating: E+ Australian Devil (E+) v Vortex (F+) As you can imagine as carbon copies of each other, the match is very even. When Devil hits a kick to the face it doesn't hurt Vortex and Vortex returns the same kick and it it looks to hurt Devil, if only a little. The match continues them exchanging strikes but Devil sees and opening and takes it with a tornado DDT. Platten: Vortex is down, this is his chance. Reacher: Yeah, sure, cause Vortex doesn't know what Devil is thinking, he's literally him from another dimension. Platten: Maybe that's what Jester wants us to think Reacher: At this point, I just believe everything that Jester says. Devil does take advantage for a small bit, hitting vicious kicks but Vortex fights through them to his his own kick that downs Devil. He tries to set up a Swinging Slam but Devil throws him off and looks for ahead kick but Vortex knows it's coming and ducks and Devil's foot connects with the ref's jaw, he's out. Devil tries to revive the ref, but it's not happening. The distraction is enough for Vortex to get a chair, SMASH! Devil's brain is rattled. Still not completely out though, Devil tries to fight Vortex off, he can't though as Vortex grabs Devil's leg and drags him to the outside. Devil is dazed as Vortex stands him up on the commentary table and Vortex jumps on the barricade. He jumps from the barricade to Devil to hit a Swinging Slam through the commentary table. Devil is out. Vortex gets back up and goes back into the ring where the ref is moving around again, Vortex picks up the ref with one hand, making him stand up, the ref see's Devil is on the outside and begins the countout. Amazingly, Devil starts to move. 3. He's crawling to the ring. 5. He's reaching up to the apron to help get him up. 7. He tries to grab the ropes to assist more. 9. He's not going to get there, he's too dazed. 10. Winner: Vortex by count out Rating: E w/w/ Blake Bushwell w/ Lothario (E) v Quick Silver (E) w/ Prof. Ventris It’s an even contest, Lothario grounds the fast Silver, but Silver is able to get back into it and is tough to keep up with. Blake gets involved grabbing the foot. Ventris gets involved, Silver is distracted and Lothario ties him up in knots. Platten: Quick Silver might be a hero, but Lothario is no slouch. Reacher: I believe they’ve been modeling in Italy and then they return and Lothario does this, maybe he should challenge Jester. Platten: I don’t think that’s going to happen. Enough of this, Silver escapes, baseball slide to Blake, springboard splash to Lothario, Silversault. Ventris holds onto Blake to make sure he doesn’t break the pin and that's it. Winner: Quick Silver Rating: E- After the match, The Soul Collectors come out onto the ramp. Jester: Oooooooh, it feels good to have the entire group back together. Feels just like home. Of course, we all know that this means, that Quick Silver, well, he's in trouble, isn't he? You see I will never ever allow Silver to get this belt, I won't even give him an opportunity, because I don't play fair, except if on thing is met. He puts his soul on the line and he will have a one on one match with me, no Soul Collectors, no Ceri, just him and I in the battle for our souls. I have done it both times before I never cheated against Slade, and I won't cheat against you, you think you can beat me, prove it. You and I, Silver, Realm of Darkness match, for the YEPW Australian title, I want to know your answer. Silver: What can I say? You got me. I thought I could beat you, but you always had a plan, huh? I guess I was too narrow minded, but a certain professor told me, I need to look out for everybody not just me, not just my friends. So, no matter how much I want it, no matter how much I want to help my friend who's mind is twisted, no matter how much I believe I can beat you one on one, just the two of us, I can't accept the terms. I can't put my soul on the line because if you, somehow, someway, beat me, I'll never be able to live with myself, that I allowed you to get stronger. So, no. I don't accept your terms, be damned if I ever allow YEPW to be unprotected from your evil. Jester: I had a feeling you'd say that. The counter part to Quick Silver, Black Flash, the man Silver banished to the Realm of Darkness last season returns and attacks Silver from behind in a vicious assault. Jester: You see Silver, any soul that is banished to the Realm of Darkness becomes mine and I can do as I see fit with that soul. Some fight the darkness so they don't have to serve me, others embrace it, then other need that final little shove to accept it. That was Black Flash, see he had no interest in serving me until I told him, that you were my target and he said he'd do anything to get one last shot at you, so meet my new recruit Silver and if you don't want to put your soul on the line? We'll have to beat you so bad that you have no other choice... MYAH HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAAHA! Rating: E Show Rating: E
  19. 6 minutes is all he needs. I can understand dropping Jones down the card at his age. My MOSC games from 2010 and before heavily featured Jones as the face that runs the place. He's too old to be that now. Shame. Lot of the guys I like in the CV are 40 plus now, it's kinda devastating.

  21. Had the same problem.with the links and no images but you seemd to.have fixed it now. The post before the show is still imageless for me. However, that Lone Rider Rusty Mills match was awesome, interested to see what this "Big Man" does going forward. Nice to see my promotion, YEPW open up. With London Platten no less (he's my announcer). Course different company as I edited the product and location But nice all the same. Wesker seems to be doing reasonably well recently, how has he improved since you brought him in?
