  1. Just realized I messed up the links. Fixed them now. Don't know what that was.
  2. Hey folks. I have decided to release an early beta of my Arknights mod. Nobody asked for it, yet I'm delivering the sauce! Arknights is a mobile game that has caught both my heart, and my wallet! So much so, I'd decided to devote dozens of hours working on a mod of it. I released the skin last week & decided it was time to let people see what I've been cooking up. It's still FAR from completion, but I wanted to at least get it out there & let the zero people who are interested take a look at what it will be. It's honestly nowhere near completion, needs a bunch of stuff. Finishing developmental, worker relationships, tag teams, stables and many more things. I'm just wanting to see if anyone can give it 20 minutes. Play it & tell me it's awful so I can keep plugging away at it. I have tried to do some outside the box approaches to the stat system & defiantly made sure to balance the game in a way that I felt would make the game world feel measured. The link comes with a skin that I altered some. As well as my favorite Arknights music. Here's the sauce! Data:https://www.mediafire.com/file/hiv68q4x9hrtapg/Arknights+Data.rar/file Picture pack: https://www.mediafire.com/file/d6vdfph3v4d7yz7/Arknights+Picture+pack.rar/file Main menu skin: https://www.mediafire.com/file/0rn1rmyo4e9qfto/Arknights+main+menu+screen.rar/file Music: https://www.mediafire.com/file/29mn12bh9kjsq63/Arknights+Music.rar/file To anyone that plays it for a couple minutes. Just understand it's incomplete. I am just tired of sitting on the mod. It's not a big mod. It is however one part of my master plan to eventually make a mod like 9000verse. Oh BTW, anyone interested in maybe a collab with me on making a fantasy based mod. Feel free to shoot me a DM. I'm looking for people serious about making a large scale mod. I know nobody is interested. I just figured I'd throw it out there. Thanks for not reading all this. Luv u!
  3. Don't know where to post this. Felt like bringing up the fact that I always wished TEW had a more in-depth audio player. I'm working on a mod & would love if I could plug in my music files I want to be in the mod. I understand we all have YouTube. I also know the actual player they had in the game was literally one generic song that you had to rename the file you wanted to use. but I always felt it was a cool "yet underdeveloped" feature that the old TEW games had. I have an excellent main menu theme that would have fit perfectly for the mod I'm working on, would have been really cool anytime you open the mod it instantly played the song. Would be cool if it could be added back to TEW2020...... (WINK WINK)
  4. https://imgur.com/XMcmygP Hey everyone. Been quite a while since I've uploaded anything. I am currently working on an Arknights mod. For those who don't know, Arknights is a mobile game that is honestly a pretty good world. I know the question you ask yourself. "Why in the world would someone want to play/make a mod off of a gotcha game?" Well like I said. It's honestly a pretty interesting world. Lots of good information & the art of the characters is really cool. Plus, I love making mods that nobody wants. It's kind of my thing. I've been working on it for the last 2 months & although it's still not ready to release. I have been working on it pretty hard. This is the main menu screen logo Skin I whipped up. I think it honestly looks pretty sexy! It also has over 110 loading screens to go with it. The actual mod I'm working on is nowhere near ready for prime time. I did upload a very early beta version on a FB group a week or two ago, but that was before I added a bunch of stuff. Also, in the very far future. When I feel like I completed the game into a finished state. I will be retooling my DBZ mod from TEW2016 into a more stable & complete version, as well as getting back to work on my Fire Emblem mod. It's honestly been a blast working on this Arknights mod & I look forward to sharing it in the future with you guys. Anyways, sorry for the filibustering. What percentage of your workers fit into each star range? Like, is 3* or the the average and then it trickles into the upper and lower star ranges?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> <a href="https://imgur.com/75X7Kc1" rel="external nofollow">https://imgur.com/75X7Kc1</a></p><p> </p><p> Pepe the link to see how I do it. I'd say 3 star can be mid-level for sure.</p><p> </p><p> I typically rate them by how they are perceived in their world. Like in my DBZ mod. Goku is obviously 6 stars. Dabura would be 5 stars. Piccolo would be 4 star. Ginyu would be 3 star. Krillin would be 2 star & Roshi or Yamcha would be 1 star.</p><p> </p><p> It's your call where they land on the spectrum though.</p>

My primary question is how people generally go about setting skill values for all of their workers. I assume this is an extremely long process? Do you use excel sheets and rate everyone compared to how you've ranked others already or is there a better way to go about this?</p><p> </p><p> Additionally, I was wondering if there's any threads or advice with general modding tips that I should check out. I'm sure there's lots of advice out there that could save me some pretty big headaches.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Pretty much. I use an excel sheet & a grading system for each character.</p><p> </p><p> 1-6 stars for each character.</p><p> </p><p> For example: 1 Star is 650-700 total value. The 50 point gap is because it would be annoying having to get each worker to exactly 700 points, also allows some 1 stars to be a little bit better/worse. The skills that's being used in the value is Brawling thru Flashiness, Charisma thru Acting & Basics thru Resilience into consideration. Not taking into account the more worker specific stuff like Star quality, experience, respect, sex appeal. Those are more based on the actual individual & shouldn't fall into the category of those points I allot for each star ranking.</p><p> </p><p> That's at least how I measure my workers stats. It's definitely a slog going through the entire thing, but it makes a much more balanced experience.</p>
  7. "And now for something completely different" Is it wrong that I was legit thinking someone was making a Chris Chan mod? Only me? Okay....
  8. It would be cool if a group of people got together again & made a supermod. I don't believe I was really around for the Hive, but I sure did spend plenty of time playing those mods. Genadi had some great stuff as well..... Really wish those would get ported over to 2020. I feel like 2020 needs a group of people to really work on one thing. Seems like people don't really do that. I'm sure it's a planning nightmare.
  9. Don't worry. A whole bunch of people "including myself" had no clue where this was either. 7 years of TEW experience couldn't prepare you for where that pivotal function was hidden.
  10. I agree. I can't find any good mods. Game has just done nothing for me. I legit took 2 months without touching the game. TEW2016 had great mods from the start. Although to be fair, that is due to the ease of transferring from 2013. I'm sure the modders put a ton of time into their mods. Just not mods I find interesting. Plus I can't stand trying to mod in 2020. That ugly whiteboard taking up half the screen & hurting my eyes while trying to even mod. I tried modding a 1999 save today & my eyes started hurting when I tried looking through the main screen of the modding screen.
  11. Please make some kind of notification when trying to pre-book a wrestler that is injured. I have made this mistake multiple times. When I try to pre-book. The wrestler for whatever reason, will still show up as available. No warning, no popup telling me the wrestler is hurt. Can we please get some kind of notification, warning us that the wrestler is at least currently injured? Even if the wrestler will be healed by the time the pre-booking takes place. I find this very annoying & would really appreciate this getting added.
  12. It's like going from a TV that is black & white to 4K! 2016 feels really awesome to play. Like a very warm blanket that feels perfect on a cold winter day. I haven't stopped working on my mods for 2016 either.
  13. <p>TEW2020 isn't for me either.</p><p> </p><p> Sucks, but true.</p><p> </p><p> I've tried a bunch of times to get into it. Just doesn't feel right to me.</p><p> </p><p> That's my issue though.</p><p> </p><p> Clearly everyone else enjoys it. I must be missing something.</p><p> </p><p> For me though, 2016 is the best version.</p><p> </p><p> I'll keep trying to get into 2020 when new mods come out. Maybe that's the issue.</p>
  14. It's the biggest pain trying to go through some screens. I will NEVER understand why they thought it would be a good idea to remove mouse scroll. It wasn't worth the addition of searching stuff. I'd still only rate the game a 6 out of 10. The core of the game is okay, but the QoL stuff is just straight up lacking in some big sections. Stuff that was in 2016, is now just gone.
  15. This is beautiful! Thank you for uploading a skin that doesn't assault my my eyes with neon colors.
  16. In the few games I've played with any reliance, I've gained pop in as little as one show. It's not that hard IMO.
  17. Mouse wheel should work everywhere IMO. I like the search feature, but not enough to justify losing the mouse wheel in major portions of the game.
  18. I loved pushing a Main-eventer, Upper-midcarder, Midcarder, Lower-midcarder, Opener- Enhancement talent, Occasional wrestler. I liked being able to do it like that. It was more aesthetically pleasing to me. Feels like I'm booking a wrestling show, instead of some weird popularity contest. I don't know, just my opinion.
  19. I love Thunderverse. RW events that are happening right now are very lame, but that's why we focus on simulation games. To try to look past the B.S.
  20. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Irishwhiskey119" data-cite="Irishwhiskey119" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47721" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><a href="https://ibb.co/gzhcQFp" rel="external nofollow"><img alt="br.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/hDwTr1j/br.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></a></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Not surprised if you watch a shot of Brandi with Orange Cassidy.</p><p> The sexual tension was palpable!</p>
  21. <p>New Japan is one of the only Japanese wrestling companies I don't worry about.</p><p> </p><p> They are a very well run company. I knew that they wouldn't run shows for safty reasons. It was probably good for the boys to get a few months off as well. Rest up & heal any nagging injuries. </p><p> </p><p> If anything, this time off will help the company.</p><p> </p><p> Gave them time to think up new directions to take the company, as well as rest up the talent.</p><p> </p><p> Happy they are running again though, felt like forever!</p>
  22. <p>Absolutely!!! Advertising, sponsors & TV ratings should both be bigger aspects to this game.</p><p> </p><p> Heck, TV should let you pick the amount of commercials each week on your show!</p><p> </p><p> I never understood why the game doesn't take commercials into account when running a TV show.</p><p> </p><p> Every mod I've seen has RAW running 2 or 3 full hours. </p><p> Never taking into account that probably each show has like 45 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes go to commercials each week. (I'm just guessing on that time.)</p><p> </p><p> Raw in 1994 was around 42 minutes. In the game though, it makes it a full 60 minutes.</p><p> </p><p> That isn't realistic.</p><p> </p><p> Sponsor's/ advertising would be a really cool thing as well!</p><p> </p><p> Could work very similar to broadcasters too. </p><p> </p><p> Then companies like WWE could be held back by sponsors. Like a certain sponsor can try to push you to give a certain wrestler a push due to them being featured in the sponsors advertisements. If you don't push that wrestler, the sponsor will get angry & threaten to take their deal away.</p><p> </p><p> So many fresh & new ideas could be added to it.</p>
