  1. This would be amazing but we never really get additional features like this after release. Maybe it would be included in the next game.
  2. For those of us who experienced the attitude era, we saw pro wrestling become accepted as being "cool" for a variety of reasons. High school and college kids would wear their NWO or Austin 3:16 t-shirts with pride. Millions of people were watching wrestling who never did before and wrestling would even beat Monday Night Football in ratings regularly. Fast forward to 2020 and wrestling is most definitely not cool. The millions of fans have long since stopped watching or even caring about wrestling. Most normal people today would consider someone a loser for watching wrestling these days. Wrestling is now considered more nerdy then videogames and anime. The millions and millions of fans who stopped watching will never ever consider being a fan again at this point. I am 100% a wrestling nerd (and other types of nerd) but I miss the days when wrestling was popular and wasnt something to be embarrassed about. I miss when wrestling fans werent associated with overweight nerdy virgins who wear replica title belts. Unfortunately these types of stereotypical nerdy wrestling fans are all thats left - just look at WWE and AEW crowds vs the crowds in an event from 1999. When AEW was announced, it got me excited to think that they could turn wrestling cool again but it was just wishful thinking because they ended up totally embracing the nerd culture instead. Wrestling will never be cool again at this point. I'm curious what other people have to say on this topic whether you agree or disagree with me.
  3. The traditional definition of a road agent is the person who works with the wrestlers to put together the details of the matches. TEW uses this definition and always has. Your definition of a road agent includes much more roles then what would traditionally be considered a road agent. Using the traditional definition of a road agent- Jim Ross, Eric Bischoff, Jimmy Hart, Bruce Prichard, Jim Cornette, and vince russo are not road agents and never have been. Vince russo says all the time that he never got involved with the matches at all, just the finishes like every other writer. Maybe the referees you listed acted in a limited capacity sometimes as a road agent but i've never heard of it. I know nothing about Jeremy Borash or Ronnie West so i'm not referring to them.
  4. In the lore, Richard Eisen was forced into retirement from IRS tax evasion and other shady dealings, but the company does not seem impacted at all beside Richard Eisen no longer being in the company. I think there should have been more fallout like maybe some negative opinion modifiers, loss of TV deal, loss of advertisers, financial loss, respected stars leaving the company, penalties to his children's/backstage workers reputation for covering it up, etc. or whatever else would be suitable. Not all of these would be necessary but at least should have something. I think loss of TV deal at the very least. Currently the world just moves on like nothing happened. This should have had a huge impact to SWF in my opinion. Richard Eisen could have just had a normal retirement and would have the same impact.
  5. I think the biggest problem is that it would be impossible to accurately set attributes for the hundreds of barely known wrestlers in the real world mods so they are left blank. This alone will make real world mods feel incomplete. Unless mod makers want to start making up attributes, we'll probably always have real world mods with hundreds of empty shell of wrestlers and will not feel complete. The only mod that I think addresses this is the killing the business mod and his solution was to cut the workers out of the mod completely so the only workers left are complete workers.
  6. Adam has mentioned this before but "left the business" really means that they left the business. They have no interest in wrestling whatesoever. If they left the business then they are done, period. What your looking for are people retired or on hiatus.

Really hope this mod gets the love it deserves and doesn't go to waste.</p>

I've been looking everywhere and all the links are dead</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> There was no real 2016 version of this. Somebody just converted from the previous year and made it compatible enough to load without throwing errors and then it was passed around.</p>
  9. Whether you should wait for Genadis mod or not depends on if you care about worker attributes being tuned for 2020 or not. Most of the RW mods so far were converted from 2016 and at the bare minimum fixed it so it runs with 2020 without errors. Most mods have not fine tuned workers for 2020 mechanics. Your bound to run into workers who have no set attributes or attributes that were converted wrong. I think only one so far has actually worked on all the workers, "Killing the Business" but i might be wrong. If there are others that finished tuning all workers I'd like to know about it.
  10. I'm pretty sure in the last game it gave the match rating a slight boost and reduced the amount of good and bad overness changes from the match
  11. Maybe you should post as a bug report. I've simmed with this data for several years and never had a problem.
  12. Thank you for releasing this. There are some issues: 1) Some broadcaster warnings when starting new game 2) Many promotions are not hiring owners and go out of business from not running any shows. Chicago wrestling never got an owner in 3 different saves and some other debuting companies have the same issue.
  13. Thanks for the update, i appreciate the work you do to continually improve the mod. After the latest update there are now several broadcaster warnings when starting a new game. Example: Midwest Sports requires minimum popularity in 30 regions but only has coverage in 2.
  14. Looking forward to the update. There are a few broadcasters that have their requirement location set as "Anywhere" instead of the region they are in. (I am not at my computer with TEW installed right now so I cant look to see which ones). For example one of them was a broadcaster that only broadcasts in just one area in Japan (i think kanto region) but accepts offers from anyone. I believe the "anywhere" requirement should only be set for larger broadcasters with a lot of coverage. There are a bunch of mexican broadcasters like this also and possibly some canadian.
  15. My apologies, i didnt mean it to sound that way. I just edited my comment.
  16. Due to the worker attributes that were worked on in this mod, this is my favorite mod out of all of them. That said there is one minor issue that I keep seeing when i start a new game which is that TCW and SWF still have trouble with their television show deals. From what i've seen, SWF tends to switch the time slot to save Supreme TV and TCW sometimes switched the time slot but other times just loses the TV deal. Not sure if you want to address this but its something that i personally found necessary to modify in my database by switching them to different broadcasters.
  17. Are you going to be doing any work on worker personality/attributes? A lot of high profile yet to debut workers look like they arent touched at all and just have blank personalities and no real attributes.
  18. Just want to add something interesting when I simmed this for over a year yesterday- SWF quickly jobbed out Micky Starr and Hagar to the low 60s and to my surprise the reigning champion was Frank Rock with pop in the high 70's low 80s.
  19. I think there are still major balance issues. Many people, like whistler as i mentioned in earlier post still have uniform high popularity despite never being in a company that they could achieve that in. Companies are still losing tons of money each month and losing TV deals. Other things are just a little weird - like how could DAVE be so popular when they don't even run shows or have TV deals in many areas they are very popular in.
  20. I redownloaded this and now SWF has an invalid broadcasting deal because America Sports One doesn't debut until 1983. SWF doesn't even meet the requirements for them either. Can you clarify what their broadcasting deal is supposed to be?
  21. Could you reveal how many workers attributes are finished and if there are plans to work on stats for debuting working?
  22. <p>Great work with this mod. I really appreciate the work you did on attributes. </p><p> </p><p> One error i see is Micky Starr should have a friendship with Rocky Streets according to his bio.</p>
  23. <p>Gives a warning and an error when starting. The warning is about the Sergio Barbosa / Ollie contract has a role ticked for a worker who cant play the role and automatically fixed.</p><p> </p><p> The error is Maria Barbosa is set to manage Vincenzo Maenza in WBW but has no contract.</p>
  24. In the last version of this mod for 2013, a young Dusty Streets had a hugely successful run with a vampire gimmick. Cant wait to do that again.
