For sports entertainment companies, last angles in shows have always been weighed highly. So with SWF you can get a B+ rated show with a 70 rated main event, if the last angle is great.

I had a talk of the first time with a friend of the first match done like that, we landed on the hollywood back lot brawl between Piper and Goldust in 96 at Wrestlemania XII. Is there an earlier example that springs to mind? I am not like a wrestling encyclopedia when it comes to this so would be interesting to hear if someone knows of an earlier example!

This is a great sign of this great community! Good on you! My favorite wrestling moment of all time was when Batista beat Triple H in Wrestlemania 21, Batista has been my favorite wrestler of all time and the build to that match was just so great. And it was incredibly gratifying seeing Triple H's reign fall. Probably a moment not remembered by everyone, but having your favorite wrestler win the big one at Wrestlemania? Oh yeah!

EU4 is the one I have played the most by far! But CK2 is nice too

<p>Question, has there been any word on whether or not battle royals have been reworked for TEW 2020? They dont work like they should in 2016 in my opinion. They get penalised for having too many competitors (even in 10 man ones) and get big rating drop offs for putting a few MC and LMC's in there, even though that is completely normal in real life.</p><p> </p><p> I haven't booked a royal rumble esque match as the main event in TEW in many many years and it is really sad considering that match type is my favorite one to watch.</p>

He still has some butt kicking years left in him, and I wouldn't be against him leaving for someplace else either (kind of like who most people compare him with, Shinsuke). Though staying wouldn't be bad either, as he is the clear 1-B to Emerald Angel's 1-A.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Tom "Angry" Gilmore</strong> - Me and this man have been through so much together, he is my TEW favorite, by far (in front of my man Ernest). I was so glad to see he had reached his potential for TEW 2016, and hope he hasn't fell off too far for 2020. I wouldn't mind seeing him elsewhere either, a last hope for TCW? A new shining beacon for NOTBPW (love this option after reading TheLloyd's diary on them, check it out), or maybe even a run in Japan? I am up for all of it! As long as he still does well of course, might go cry in a corner if he is depushed to hell.</p>
