1. Just got them downloaded. Only had time to look at the first fighter from the Russia pack. Really balanced. Looks great! I may have to redownload Daz and give it a go myself. Unfortunately I don't have hardly any hair packs so that sucks. Don't think I have any clothing for fighters either so they're all going to look super generic 😂
  2.
GAMMA 61 is in the books and what a night of action it was!

I won't cover the entire event, but here are the notable fights...

Lawrence Herringbone has had a rough turn of events after winning the LHW title in March of 2000. In the 31 months that have passed since that date, "The Law" has lost 4 out of his last 5 matches and may find himself of danger of getting cut if he's unable to turn it around. Also, he's fought himself out of main event, off of the main card and into the preliminary bouts. Tough luck!

Alberto Basora came in heavily hyped and has now lost his 2nd consecutive fight. He will likely have to win his next fight to stay in the big leagues.

The same cannot be said for his brother, Luis Basora. He's now 2-1 since joining GAMMA with his lone loss to Helio (more on him later) via a fluky TKO due to a cut. After winning tonight, and with the events that transpired later in the night, safe to say he'll have the opportunity to redeem himself sooner rather than later.

In the co-main event of the event, "Texas" Teddy Glossop stuck to his fighting style of kickin' ass, takin' names as it took him less than 60 seconds to get the TKO finish against Frank Paul to defend his title. Technically he won the vacant title that he vacated because someone forgot to extend his contract after he won the title from George Pickering in his last contracted fight, but we'll say first defense for all intents and purposes.

In the main event of the evening we have the undefeated Fiyero Lermentov who recently put Jake Keane on a 6 month medical suspension after brutalizing him over 6 minutes before putting him to sleep. A slight underdog, Helio put on the performance of his life as he was the one doing the brutalizing tonight. It took less than two minutes for him to draw blood on Lermentov. He reopened that cut in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. Lermentov began grappling midway through the third after losing the striking battle and won the 3rd round. Unfortunately for him, he never had a chance to grapple in the 4th and Helio broke the jaw of the undefeated Lermentov. Ever the warrior, Fiyero came out and won the 5th round via some takedowns on the tired Helio. Unfortunately for him Helio built a mountain too tall for Lermentov to climb. The Russian lost blood, lost his jaw, lost his recently won title, and lost his undefeated record. Helio looked like a man possessed and being only 25 and already arguably the best striker in the world, he could be the man to break Sean Morrison's record of 7 title defenses!

    GAMMA 62: Foster vs Fezzik

The end of year extravaganza event is the next major event for GAMMA. November was a great month for the company as they were able to sign great talent away from competitors ALPHA-1. Hassan Fezzik was the prize signing for this company. This has been a dream fight for many people for a long time. Foster has always been thought of as a weak champion, and Fezzik a strong champion due to the level of competition in their respective companies. Now James Foster gets the opportunity to cement himself as the greatest heavyweight to ever put on gloves, and potentially the greatest fighter that ever lived.

In the co-main event, we have Spencer Rubenstein returning to action for the first time in 6 months after a brutal fight with Mike Watson where he won the LHW title for a second time. He will take on Niki Soldo. The former SIGMA star is a stud in his own right. Soldo has been featured in the fight of the year for 2 of the last 3 years, and on the last Saturday of 2002, he'll have a dance partner in Spencer Rubenstein to put on another classic.

To round out the main card we have Gladstone Lopes taking on Tim Boyer for a chance to elevate himself into the Heavyweight title scene. Former SHW champ George Pickering takes on John-James McIleen in a potential #1 contenders fight. Lastly, fan favorite Big Magic has a fight to round out the main card!

  3. Sorry for the long post guys, but this save has become a blast and there's a lot of fun things going on!

    International Fight Week 2002

After the landmark GAMMA 50 to kick off the year, it's been a streak of phenomenal shows for GAMMA, with this being the biggest show in the company's history! It broke the PPV buy rate record set by last month's GAMMA 55: Foster vs Roy by over $1,000,000 dollars. It broke the previous gate receipt record, also held by a Matthew Dean main evented show from GAMMA 53: Dean vs Moura II by $20,000. And it was the 2nd ever show with over 6,000 people in attendance, having 3 less bodies than GAMMA 55.

The show kicked off featuring Heavyweight prospect Gaby Corrales picking up a unanimous decision (30-26, 30-27, 30-27) victory over Razor Rivers. 6th ranked Super Heavyweight picked up the win over Osser Mallaby by submission midway through the 1st round in the first of 4 great fights on this show. 4 months after suffering his 2nd career loss to Middleweight title contender Osmosis Benn, Ashley Ballard knocked out 16th ranked Carl Ratcliffe with a devastating head kick against the cage with 2 second remaining in the 2nd round. In a great striking matchup, #13 William Harrison gave Ricky Heath his 4th consecutive loss. Ricky Heath will be moving down to middleweight to see if he can give himself a career renaissance, or head elsewhere for employment. The final prelim match featured 2 world ranked fighters from the light heavyweight division with Toby Sorkin dominating Matt Kurri and finishing him with strikes via TKO in the first 30 seconds of the final round. Sorkin is potentially 1 win away from challenging for the Light Heavyweight Title!

    On to the main card!

Jeff Carlton continues his come back journey with a much more exciting match in his 2nd fight back, finishing Kirk Purchase. Neil Napier beat Tora Mizwar in a title eliminator match, and will likely be Dean's next opponent. After losing the Welterweight title for a 2nd time to Bobby Brubaker, Julio Regueiro decided to move down to Lightweight and was quickly welcomed to the division by the heavy handed Luke Hilton and Spanish Silk now finds himself at an interesting crossroads after suffering back to losses when his only previous career loss was to the aforementioned Welterweight champ, Bobby Brubaker.

The co-main event featured two team mates out of Sean Morrison's Kentucky gym Animal House. "The Reaper" Spencer Rubenstein and "The Calgary Assassin" Mike Watson did not disappoint. They beat the hell out of each other. For nearly 15 minutes these two traded blows back and forth. Mike Watson drew first blood early in the 2nd and got the better of The Reaper for the majority of the fight. He drew more blood in the 3rd round, shattering Rubenstein's nose. However, at the end of the night it was Spencer Rubenstein who saw his hand raised. Despite the punishment he received, Rubenstein stayed patient and picked his spots and secured the TKO victory. Unfortunately we likely won't see Spencer until the end of the year, as the commission has medically suspended him for 4 months. Watson didn't leave unscathed either. He spent the night in the hospital and garnered a 2 month suspension himself. It's possible we see a rematch between these two headline the end of the year show.

The main event featured arguably the greatest of all time in Matthew Dean do what he does best and thoroughly outclass his opponent. The first two rounds saw a lot of dirty boxing from Dean and Garner was struggling to deal with it. In the 3rd and 4th rounds we saw Dean's trademark smothering top game as he took down Garner effortlessly and grinded him down. Garner came out aggressive in the 5th knowing that he needed a finish to win but Dean is simply too good. Garner secured a trip takedown early and somehow Dean still found a way to end the round on top of the jiu-jitsu expert.

Matthew Dean has dominated this division now for 8 years. Over that time he's had 14 fights. He's fought some of the greatest fighters on the planet at 185 pounds and has beaten all of them, mostly numerous times. The other 4 fighters that round out the top 5 in the middleweight division are a combined 26-9 in GAMMA. 8 of those 9 losses have come at the hand of Matthew Dean. Buddy Garner has lost 3 times in his entire career. All 3 have been to Matthew Dean. Osmosis Benn has lost twice in his entire career. Both losses to Matthew Dean. Neil Napier has lost twice in his entire career, once to Dean, and once to Osmosis Benn. So this division is very stagnant at the top, not due to a lack of credible challengers, but Dean is arguably the greatest of all time, and the top 4 contenders in the division are all time greats as well, but simply not on the level of Dean.

After winning, Ashley Ballard has jumped up to #6 behind those guys, as well as Braulio Moura. Since Dean has defeated all of the guys ranked #2-#5, it's very likely Ballard will get the next crack at the undisputed GOAT. Unless GAMMA CEO and matchmaker Matt Tripp could convince Dean to attempt to become the first ever 2-time champion and take on newly crowned 2-time champion Spencer Rubenstein at Light Heavyweight. Now that would be a salivating matchup!

  4. Don't convince Oleg the judo god to come out of retirement. He won't fight anybody because they aren't popular enough. Those that are popular enough are light years ahead of him so the commission won't allow it. Only fight I could book was moving Huang to MW. But then he shattered his elbow and now he's out for a year. I was hoping Huang would destroy him and knock his pop down a tier so he'd accept other fights. Dude thinks he's Conor McGregor or something.
  5. I'm already doing a COTT with the Feathers. I have Nathan Chambers and I believe Jack Humphreys as coaches. They'll main event the show with the two finalists fighting for the FW title. Ziskie will also fight LiKong on that card.

On a side note, the people I keep wanting to win to become #1 contenders don't. Rav Kapur was set to fight Tank. Tank got injured so I moved a guy up from LHW I just signed from the British fed and despite being massively outweighed, he KOed Rav. Back to the drawing board for the HW division's next Challenger. Raul Hughes also lost to Lindsay Ballard. Hughes should've have a TKO in R1 but he let Ballard recover and got KOed himself in round 2. So Rubenstein will fight Watson for the LHW title next after knocking out former champ Lawrence Herringbone in timely fashion.

  6.

Based on this, I might have to hire Thomaz de Miranda.

Very much reminiscent of Diego Sanchez. Never giving up, taking a ton of damage and still pulling out the occasional victory. Might be one of my favorites now!

  7.
Thomaz de Miranda is the toughest SOB I've seen so far. In my Welterweight Grand Prix to determine the inaugural Welterweight Champ for OLIMPICO he suffered a broken nose that was gushing blood midway through the 2nd round of the 1st fight, won that fight by the decision. Then in his 2nd fight, his right eye was swollen shut as a result of being exhausted which was caused by being unable to breathe out of his broken nose from the 1st fight. Then in the 2nd round, he got caught in a Thai clinch and was getting destroyed by 3 massive knees and was very likely saved by the bell, but he suffered a deep purple bruise on his ribs that would likely further affect his breathing. This guy is an animal!

Unfortunately I tried to look at his fight history during the fight and got a run time era, so now I'm re-doing the event. But what a fighter!

I think the main event of a big show needs to send the fans home happy with a clean finish so they don't feel cheated.

If you have a long line of heels ready to challenge Sam Strong, I'd go with Strong. You can build up other baby faces to take on Rip while Strong has his reign. Or, you could do the opposite. If you have 1 or 2 guys ready, you could try to strap a rocket to a couple baby faces and get them ready for Chord in 4-6 months. Or, you could do what I just did in my youtube diary and push someone in the main event when they may not necessarily be ready. I've added Joey Morgan to SWF's first ever Elimination Chamber match so there's a bit of a freshness in the main event scene.

I'd personally go with fresh challengers for Rip Chord. Push someone to main event a couple shows you wouldn't expect. You may be surprised at what you get. Also, coming out of the season finale show is kind of a down time anyways, so seeing what talent might stick at the top could potentially be beneficial to you and realistic as it's the slow time of the year.

  9.

Unfortunately I can't take credit for Chaos Theory. It was one of the options offered on the name generator in the game. Usually, I take one of those suggestions and mold it into my own (i.e. All Day Express with Devine & Biggins), but Chaos Theory just fit right with Anderson & Tornado. Sadly, it won't last much longer, because I'm disbanding Anderson & Tornado due to Troy's declining stats since the start of the saved game. Anderson at this point is a vastly better midcarder.

Right now, The Syndicate is Wolf Hawkins, Jay Chord, & Edd Stone. I'll probably be editing it soon, because Chord is becoming too good to remain a follower. At the very least, I'm going to put him in the International Title picture. I've been wanting to include a 4th man anyway, but just haven't decided yet.

So the TCW history in general is that RDJ & Joey Minnesota defeated The Syndicate (Cornell & Hawkins) to disband the stable. At the beginning of my saved game, Hawkins builds this trio and begins to run havok in TCW, with RDJ being the focal victim. Hawkins offers RDJ an opportunity. A one on one match. If RDJ wins, the trio will never work together again. If Hawkins wins, Wolf earns the right to revive the Syndicate name, as he's determined to carry on the legacy his mentor Tommy Cornell started. Needless to say, Hawkins wins, and The Syndicate now lives once again.

Clearly, I'm having a lot of fun with this saved game. If I had time, I'd do another diary. For now, though, I'll stick with posting my PPVs.

That sounds fun. There's a lot of ways you could end it. You could go the Batista/HHH route, which is one of my favorite storylines of all time. You could also have RDJ try to get in Jay's head as the vet that has seen it all and sees something special in the 2nd generation talent. Although, I don't really think Jay is good at playing face. You could have Chord take over the stable right out from under Wolf and turn Wolf. That kind of seems like something a Chord would do. Then he rebrands it something more fitting for whatever direction you'd take his character.

I love stables in general. So many options for matches and angles. So fun to book.

I was always holding out hope I'd get some more TCW out of you! Of course, I'm assuming here, but hopefully I'm right.

I think his canon history is perfect for a top tier heel. He's only champion because of his last night. It's wonderful and easy to book around. He's arrogant for no reason at all, he thinks he's better than everyone etc. in terms of the in ring stuff you're spot on. I've had a save where he could pull high 80s consistently and even a few 90s depending on the opponent. I love me some Eric Eisen.

Better known as Mr. Supreme or Mr. Hollywood. Terrific performer, raging alcoholic, 100% pain the ass. Although after his second trip to rehab, I haven't had another drunk incident. So maybe that's a thing now, who knows. He's in the 97 database and one of the top tier workers SWF has. Probably 4th behind Keith, McFly and Faith. Maybe Cornell but I think Supreme is slightly better at the very beginning.
