  2. I recently hired Emma Chase away from SWF and intend to use her as a color commentator for my new brand/"rival company" WPL. Before that though, she's going to revive The Chase Agency. However, once the group is established, she's going to step aside and hand over the reigns to Elizabeth Cartier. So, my question is what should the Chase Agency be called once Cartier takes over? I've got a few ideas and was hoping to get some feedback on which one you guys like best: 1.) The Cartier Agency - Straightforward and carries on the tradition with no explanation needed. 2.) The Cartier Group - I think this one has a nice "business" ring to it and rolls off the tongue nicely. 3.) Cartier Inc. - Same thoughts as option 2. 4.) The Chase Agency - Chase would introduce Cartier as her sister and there would be no need for a name change. Also, see my thoughts on option 1. 5.) Cartier Management Services or CMS for short - I like it, but it's maybe a bit too wordy? The CMS abbreviation leaves a bit to be desired as well, but still sounds appropriate for a "business" type stable. 6.) The Cartier Foundation - I like this one the least by far, but I still like it. I'm obviously open to other suggestions too, so feel free to chime in with your own names/ideas if you don't like any of these. Any feedback would be much appreciated! PS I already posted this in the Tag Team/Stable Naming Suggestions thread, but that thread has a tendency to drop down the page quickly and therefore doesn't usually get a lot of responses, so that's why I posted it here.

  8. I've been wondering about this for a while myself, so with this question posted today, I decided to dig through the Small Questions thread and ended up finding the following post from Adam: http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2215556&postcount=3507 At first I thought this directly contradicted what Historian said. However, Adam didn't actually say you don't need to visit a region at all if you're still being seen there. Just that you don't need to visit a region "regularly" if you're still being seen there. So I'm confused. Can anyone confirm what Historian is saying about "capping out" in pop for a region you don't visit regularly? Adam?

  22. <p>I read through the thread and can see you clearly have a lot on your plate. Still, it never hurts to just ask so here I am. </p><p> </p><p> I was wondering if you could do a few belts for me. If you were able to do these, it literally wouldn't matter to me if it took you a year to get around to them. The belts are for one of the "yet to open" C-Verse companies in the default database WPL, or Wrestling Premier League. It's an old school, no frills company with a heavy dose of realism, and a main focus on the heavyweight division.</p><p> </p><p> Here's their company logo:</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="oDF1L3h.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/oDF1L3h.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> These are the belts I need:</p><p> </p><p> WPL World Heavyweight </p><p> WPL World Tag Team</p><p> WPL International</p><p> WPL Midwest</p><p> </p><p> The only specific thing I would really be looking for with these, is that red is at least a semi-prominent color in the designs. Whether that be as the strap color, font color, or something else would be completely up to you. </p><p> </p><p> However, if you're not interested, are simply burnt-out on making belts, or just otherwise don't think you'll have the time, that's obviously fine too and I still appreciate you even acknowledging requests at all. </p><p> </p><p> THANKS!</p>

So for teams that are already experienced, it really shouldn't matter. And for several of the teams listed, they weren't really "chemistry teams". They were teams with two good workers who worked well together after they gained some experience. That's the experience bonus in play. Positive chemistry is when a team is better as a combo than their skills should allow them to be. I don't think that's really the case for teams like the Brothers of Destruction.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Fair enough. However, if you go into the database of TGA and check the chemistry section you'll find that there are several entries that seem to have been included for the sole purpose of ensuring that certain workers don't have bad chemistry with each other, either as opponents or a team. That's more what I had in mind above. </p><p> </p><p> For example, Hulk Hogan/Andre The Giant, Ric Flair/Terry Funk, Ric Flair/Dusty Rhodes, Ric Flair/Harley Race, Barry Windham/Ric Flair, Saturo Sayama/Dynamite Kid and Kobayashi/Misawa all have their chemistry set to "Neutral" as opponents. While the Steiner brothers have their chemistry set to "Neutral" as a team. I think all of the teams I listed above should also have their chemistry set to at least Neutral so people can recreate common/popular teams in their saves without having to worry about being hit with an "awful" or "zero" chemistry note. Sure you could just ride a negative chemistry team out until their experience overrides it, but I think that's a poor alternative to just having popular/well known teams set to at least Neutral at the start of a mod.</p><p> </p><p> To me it kind of just goes back to what KingOfOldSchool said above about Cena/Punk. If they can take the time to go in and set Cena/Punk to having great chemistry as opponents, I think they should have at least set all the significant tag teams to having at least Neutral chemistry. I'm obviously not suggesting they should have taken it as far as adding teams like ShowMiz, Hogan & Edge, Regal and Tajiri or Booker T and Goldust, because you've got to draw the line somewhere or a real world mod would take forever. I think it could easily be universally agreed though that teams like LOD and the Dudley's are significant enough to warrant inclusion.</p>

The first time I started playing a game with the mod, the Midnight Express had zero chemistry as a team. Considering they had been for a few years by that time, they should have had their chemistry pre-set as excellent. Yet, for some reason they felt the need to have CM Punk and John Cena's chemistry pre-set. <p> </p><p> Needless to say, I backed out of the save, went back and set up numerous chemistry notes in the database, then started up a new game.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I just checked the database and they have now added Eaton and Lane to the chemistry notes, but they're still missing a lot of teams that I really feel should have been included. Just a few examples off the top of my head:</p><p> </p><p> LOD </p><p> Arn Anderson/Tully Blanchard</p><p> Steve Williams/Terry Gordy</p><p> Dudley Boyz</p><p> The Rockers</p><p> Demolition</p><p> The New Age Outlaws</p><p> The British Bulldogs</p><p> Harlem Heat</p><p> Brothers of Destruction</p><p> All of the Freebird combinations</p><p> </p><p> Unfortunately, it also looks like Savage and Miss Elizabeth are the only wrestler/manager combo with a chemistry note. Seems like a fairly big oversight in my opinion. Then again, maybe they did it like that on purpose to add a little more randomness to the mod. Either way, I really enjoy the mod and greatly appreciate all of the time and effort they put into it!</p>
