The first time I started playing a game with the mod, the Midnight Express had zero chemistry as a team. Considering they had been for a few years by that time, they should have had their chemistry pre-set as excellent. Yet, for some reason they felt the need to have CM Punk and John Cena's chemistry pre-set.

Needless to say, I backed out of the save, went back and set up numerous chemistry notes in the database, then started up a new game.

I just checked the database and they have now added Eaton and Lane to the chemistry notes, but they're still missing a lot of teams that I really feel should have been included. Just a few examples off the top of my head:

LOD

Arn Anderson/Tully Blanchard

Steve Williams/Terry Gordy

Dudley Boyz

The Rockers

Demolition

The New Age Outlaws

The British Bulldogs

Harlem Heat

Brothers of Destruction

All of the Freebird combinations

Unfortunately, it also looks like Savage and Miss Elizabeth are the only wrestler/manager combo with a chemistry note. Seems like a fairly big oversight in my opinion. Then again, maybe they did it like that on purpose to add a little more randomness to the mod. Either way, I really enjoy the mod and greatly appreciate all of the time and effort they put into it!

I'm not thrilled with the name, but I wanted something like The Dark Watch, but not quite. Any other thoughts? I plan on adding to the stable over the course of the next in game year, but no specific plans yet.

My cult-like stable led by Scythe is called Legion.

It started out as just Scythe and for the first few months he would cut promos subtly referencing "others", before progressing to less subtle things like, "I am Legion, and we are many!"

Finally, when it looked like he had potentially bitten off more than he could chew in Colossus(Hell's Bouncer), Cerberus made his debut as Scythe's first "follower." He was later followed by Bear Bekowski, who helped Cerberus and Scythe lock Colossus in a casket and set it on fire.

From there, Legion started a feud with Akima Brave. Brave eventually drug his friend Bulldozer Brandon Smith into the feud, only for the two to lose their eventual match with Scythe and Bekowski, when Colossus came back as the fire themed Leviathan, joining the very men who had set him on fire. This led to Brave and Smith challenging Scythe and Leviathan to a tag team cage match. In the weeks leading up to the match Scythe warned them that the cage wouldn't protect them. Turns out he was only talking to Smith, as Brave turned on his partner during the match to join Legion.

It goes on from there, but you get the idea.

 6.

Started playing the "Montreal Aftermath" mod, as I like a relatively clean slate to start from, and that's as good a point historically as I could think of for the WWF conceivably moving in drastically different directions to where it went in real life. I intended it to just be a bit of a nothing game to pass the time, but ended up very quickly becoming one of my favourites I've played.

To start with, Vince has given me the Owner Goals of not hiring anyone over 35 (irritating for me, as I tend to build around veterans, and because it meant I couldn't hire Terry Funk when he left ECW in early '98), and that I had to get Faarooq and Blackjack Bradshaw considerably more over than they currently are.

Steve Austin wasn't doing too well as a figurehead, so I removed him while I look for the next best choice - this affected his morale, which was already low as a result of the aftermath of the Montreal Screwjob. I was planning on taking a long route to Austin/McMahon, which entailed slowing down on Austin's push a little anyway - but less than two weeks before the Royal Rumble, Austin handed in his notice. This meant I rushed him into a couple of big TV matches to wrap things up and get the best I could out of him, but that everything beyond that was up in the air.

So, headed into the Royal Rumble, I'm lacking a tough guy/rebel top babyface in Steve Austin. In fact, the whole babyface side of my roster is pretty lacking compared to a bloated heel side. The Undertaker is, by far, my most over face, but he's wrapped up in a feud with Kane.

My solution is to split the role between two people. Ken Shamrock takes over as the tough guy, and is the next challenger for Shawn Michaels as WWF Champion. Owen Hart returns after a short hiatus, as an anti-authority babyface hellbent on revenge against Vince McMahon and Shawn Michaels.

Vince, meanwhile, is gradually transitioning into the Mr. McMahon character with a series of sitdown interviews stemming from the "Bret Screwed Bret" promo. He doesn't go full heel at all times, though, as he still butts heads with DX, who he sees as running roughshod over his company - so he's somewhat torn in the middle between Michaels and Hart.

Over this time, though, Vince does start to build a version of The Corporation - up to this point, no full-time wrestlers have sided with him, just a series of "Yes Men" who have Vince's back; Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco at first, soon joined by a heel turned Sgt Slaughter and Gorilla Monsoon.

Owen Hart challenges Shawn Michaels for the WWF Title at the Royal Rumble, and Michaels wins by DQ. Later in the show, Hart takes out Headbanger Mosh and steals his spot in the Rumble match, going on to win the whole thing, much to the chagrin of Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon, leading to Vince tolerating DX if it means he can get Owen Hart out of his hair.

Also at the Rumble, Mike Tyson is the guest of honour, interviewed in-ring by Vince himself. Before Tyson can confirm why he has come to the WWF, he's interrupted by Ken Shamrock, who takes umbrage with Tyson calling himself "the most dangerous man on the planet". Over the coming weeks, Tyson aligns himself with the Nation of Domination, and they serve to beat down and humiliate Shamrock - leading to a match announced for Wrestlemania, pitting Tyson against Shamrock to determine the real World's Most Dangerous Man.

Unfortunately, Shamrock gets injured a few weeks before 'Mania, and the match is off. With no suitable replacement opponent for Tyson, he gets slotted into essentially the role he played in real life, and he becomes ringside enforcer for Shawn Michaels vs. Owen Hart.

Michaels vs. Hart is booked as a very Attitude Era cluster****; Triple H interferes, in a blatant rip-off of Austin/Dude Love, Vince McMahon appoints Brisco and Patterson as guest ring announcer and timekeeper, Sgt. Slaughter as the second ringside enforcer, and Gorilla Monsoon as guest commentator. Original referee Tim White gets knocked out, and Earl Hebner is the replacement referee. With Hebner in the ring, Shawn Michaels gets Owen Hart in the Sharpshooter, and Hebner looks ready to call for the bell, only for Tyson to drag him out of the ring. Tyson prevents the screwjob and turns face, knocking out Slaughter, and allowing Owen Hart to lock in a Sharpshooter of his own and win the title.

Elsewhere at Wrestlemania, Sir Steven Regal's open challenge (he had debuted on RAW back in February, and cut a series of promos criticising American culture, leading to the open challenge at Wrestlemania) was met by Butterbean, who Regal was able to cheat to defeat.

The Kane/Undertaker feud I booked in, honestly, an utterly preposterous fashion. I was insistent that Undertaker not strike back against Kane until they meet in the ring at Wrestlemania, and my attempts to come up with ways of keeping them apart were increasingly nonsensical.

Brother Love returned to the WWF, with The Undertaker as his first guest on the Brother Love Show - which all turned out to be a ruse, allowing Kane, Paul Bearer and Bearer's new apprentice The Jackyl to jump The Undertaker and beat him down. This led to a match at the Rumble between Jackyl and Undertaker, which 'Taker won decisively. The Undertaker's music played during the Royal Rumble match itself, causing enough of a distraction for Kane to be eliminated.

The Undertaker would fall prey to Kane again at No Way Out, following a tag match pitting The Undertaker & Owen Hart against DX. With the help of DX, Bearer and his cronies were able to lock The Undertaker in a casket.

On a TV special two weeks before Wrestlemania, the casket reopened, and The Undertaker emerged, chokeslamming The Jackyl into the casket, and hitting Brother Love with a Tombstone, before beckoning for Kane to face him. Kane and Bearer backed down, however. This effectively - for the time being - killed off the Brother Love gimmick, with the intention to bring him back as Bruce Prichard and use him as another McMahon stooge.

The match at Wrestlemania, after all this, was relatively straightforward, with Undertaker going over. The feud is far from over, though, and they'll likely meet in a series of gimmick matches before all is said and done.

Other things going on - The Rock has taken control of The Nation of Domination, having defeated the newly babyface Faarooq at Wrestlemania. He has also enlisted Too Cold Scorpio to the stable, while Faarooq is insistent on fighting alone. Prior to this, NOD were able to defeat Los Boricuas and DOA in a three-way Losing Team Must Disband match, putting both other gangs out of the game.

The New Age Outlaws are ruling the tag division, fending off challenges from the New Blackjacks and the Legion of Doom, amongst others. They have recently teamed up with Sunny as their manager.

Vader was feuding with Goldust, and brought in Marlena to counter Goldust having Luna in his corner. At the Royal Rumble, Vader teamed with the returning Mankind against Goldust and Jeff Jarrett, but Goldust worked drug, and ruined the match - and not for the first time, meaning he checked into rehab shortly after. The next night on RAW, Vader turned heel when an attack on Luna Vachon went too far, and Mankind stepped in to break it up, resulting in a brutal No DQ match between the two, and a Last Man Standing match at Wrestlemania, which Mankind was able to win.

Good stuff Skummy! I especially liked the Shamrock/Tyson idea, so it sucked to read that Shamrock was injured. I think you made the best of a bad situation though, turning Tyson face to help Owen.

 8. Since you're not against "ripping off real life stuff," you could just give Kane the name he used in Puerto Rico, Doomsday, and go with your Dungeon of Doom idea with Doomsday as the leader since his name's in the title. Yeah, the stable name's a little direct, but not detrimentally so. If you go with Kane as "Doomsday," then these would also work I think: Homicide Squad - Play on Suicide Squad which has actually been around since the late 1950s. 3D, Triple D, or DDD as in "Doom, Danger and Death" I'm not sure how well either of these really fit in 1994 WWF though.

 10. I do CZCW as well and I also use the Wave Of Fury Event as my Royal Rumble. The only difference is I call the match the Coastal Rumble and use that as an event subname, so it's: Wave of Fury: The Coastal Rumble. The winner gets a ladder match for the championship at the Reach For The Sky event in September. I also use Reach For The Sky as my Money In The Bank event and hold a 6-man "Golden Ticket" Ladder match where the winner gets a shot at any title of his choosing within 1 year. Anyway, back to the point of this topic: CZCW June 2020 CZCW Championship: Prestige 100 Mikey James - 0 defenses. Won from Greg Gauge, match rating 99, at CZCW: The Rip Chord Invitational XVI in June 2020. CZCW American Championship: Prestige 100 Davis Wayne Newton - 4 defenses. Won from Mikey James, match rating 89, at Surf Slam in March 2020. CZCW Tag Team Championship: Prestige 92 Resurgence(Acid II and American Elemental II)- 1 defense. Won from The Pryce is Wright(Prince Pryce and Robbie Wright) in a Triple Threat match with The Assassins(Ernest Youngman and Onslaught,) match rating 90, at Welcome To The Coastal Zone in May 2020. CZCW Pacific Championship: Prestige 85 Jack Avatar - 2 defenses. Won from Kamikaze, match rating 88, at Spring Break Bash in April 2020. CZCW Television Championship: Prestige 85 Rocky Weatherfield - 2 defenses. Won from Sonny Wildside, match rating 82, at Spring Break Bash in April 2020. CZCW Rip Chord Invitational Challenge: Prestige 100 Spencer Spade - Defeated Davis Wayne Newton in Tournament Final, match rating 89, at CZCW: The Rip Chord Invitational XVI in June 2020. Gets shot at CZCW Championship at Wave of Fury: The Coastal Rumble in August 2020. CZCW Sam Keith Classic: Prestige 92 Natural Storm - Defeated Davis Wayne Newton & Frantic Ali in Tournament Final, match rating 85, at CZCW: The Sam Keith Classic IX in February 2020. CZCW Golden Ticket Trophy(MITB briefcase) Prestige: 92 Amazing Fire Fly - Defeated Masked Cougar, American Eagle II, Kamikaze, Hurakan and Marvel Malloy, match rating 86, in the Golden Ticket Ladder Match at Reach For The Sky in September 2019.

You can find that info in Topic 36 of the Player's Handbook, which says the following:

"Every worker has hidden 'caps' on all his skills and popularity. These caps are generated at the start of each game based off a combination of the worker's stats, Destiny value, his pre-set potential, and randomness. This adds a unique flavour to every game and means not every worker can become a star.

All caps are conisdered 'soft'; this means that values can rise above the caps temporarily, but they will always eventually sink back down to that level. This also (intentionally) means it is not always obvious when a cap is reached."

I really think everyone, even the series veterans, could benefit from reading through the Player's Handbook more often. It contains tons of very useful info that would eliminate a lot of the questions asked in this thread.

 12. I've got nothing that I really like that's reminiscent of Bumfhole, but in thinking about it I've also decided to rename them in my game. I'm going to turn them heel, give them a snobby, Hunter Hearst Helmsley like gimmick, rename them Randall & Xander Bancroft and give them the team name "The Fabulous Bancroft Boys."
