1.
Promiscuous- more likely to have good friendships with lots of people from the other sex. But has more fallouts and more likely to break up a marriage. Also more likely to get work. (The overall locker room morale could be higher, but their relationships with other workers may make it worse)

Legitimate big guy - these people are really huge and dont need star quality to cap their popularity.

Outsider - people who are not wrestlers but known outside the business and keep their popularity regardless of what happens in the ring.

 2. The auto aging feature is an amazing addition. Except for the odd few, every single thing so far makes the game sounds like a great improvement and there’s more to come
 3. Stables sound like a massive upgrade. Again another improvement which sound like it has had much thought. Also it sounds like it improves the AIs booking. I do hope there would be some way of using stables in angles and just selecting the stable, rather than each worker individually.
 4. They are two separate things though. In terms of consistency, we don’t have a level of consistency that has affects everything we do i life. If you train in something, you also improve your consistency in that particular aspect. If a wrestler improves his consistency in the ring, it wouldn’t improve his consistency as a footballer. In terms of in ring and out of ring consistency it is completely different. I think your speaking more about determination or something along them lines, because consistency is nothing to do with how seriously sometakes their work. You can be the hardest worker in the world and not be consistent

Would like to see some stats applying to refs also!

Is consistency for in ring skills the same consistency that effects mic skills etc?

I wouldn’t say it was in reality

 6.
I imagine the importance of the match will count. Someone who has headlined many major PPVs by 30 should have gained it a lot faster than someone who’s 40 and never headlined one.

I think it’s a great addition.

I also think some stats should improve one they’ve hit time decline. Especially psychology, but maybe experience will make up for this

 7. I remember those comments. There will never be a game based on real life that can’t be improved.... ever
 8.

Right, but it'll break immersion if you're looking at an old-timey ragsheet and then switch to your desktop to look up wrestlers. It only stands to reason that if you're playing in an older era, you'd have to scout wrestlers using early technology, which means you shouldn't be able to sort. So I understand why Adam is removing the ability to sort from that era, but I'm eager to see the announcement for what's going to replace it.

People Download skins anyway so i imagine the most important thing about that entry isnwhat kind of news subjects we get. Which will now be relevant to the era.

Hulkamania running wild on twitter isn’t happening

 9. Yep today’s entry is welcomed by me as someone who play historical mods and gernerally 90’s to 00’s

Or sports fans in general who overrract to every play or every game. Overreaction theater. Believe it or not, it’s possible to discuss what’s happened already while still acknowledging that there’s a lot of time left and things will change.

+ a few quotes above.

I fail to see where people have ‘jumped the gun’ or ‘overreacted’ nearly everyone has welcomed this change, the only issue people have is the uncertainty around how the roster will be filtered l.

I don’t think anybody has said ‘this is rubbish now we can’t do this’ people are just making Adam aware this was a big thing people relied on.

When there’s so much time for things to change, this is the best time to put points across. Nobody’s slating the game

 11. In an ideal world yes the goal is to give them what they want. But there’s a hell of a lot more to it than just giving the fans what they want. You have to build, look tonthe future, try and get people over enough to make other look strong, notnhave the same matches week in week out. If promoters gave the fans what they wanted, heels would never win. Unless you mean the fans that think they know how to book better than the promoters themselves, and the only thing they want, is to actually book the shows.
 12. This is exactly the point. Everyone seems to welcome thendeature, but are worried about an internal way of sorting. When it comes to quickly checking your roster when planning storylines, booking or even more importantly going back to a save, having the old way of ‘internal’ sorting was ideal. The worry is, if you have an ‘upper midcarder’ who is hot, the fans perception may have him higher than anmain eventer that’s not hot ‘a jobber to the stars’ meaning a couple of losses for both andnyou upper midcarder quickly falls back to being an upper midcarder. As I imagine pop still counts for more, there’s a chance if itsnsorted by perception that people may put people on the main event scene too quickly because they’re hot, rather than keeping them lower down the card gaining more wins. As I say, it’s just so helpful the way they are categorised on our roster st the moment.

I have a feeling this game will be so much different from TEW 2016 and may need some getting used to, but I don't mind it if it's for the better.
I can already see complains though from people who don't like change, but I hope the development team don't let themselves be swayed by this.

Yes, it seems like the crowd is running the show because it's realistic. Of course the fans decide who is over (by definition) and that's how it's been in the previous games, too.

I'm not watching WWE but if the WWE isn't putting their most over wrestlers in their main events, they're just being stupid. The most over guys belong in the main event because they are the guys people come to see or tune in to watch.

The game should simulate how all pro wrestling works, and not just centre around how WWE is operating.

I think very few people dislike the change. I have no doubt it’s a major change and will have a major impact formthe good. I just think it was much more helpful the way people were sorted on your roster. Hopefully it can still be sorted in a similar way.

The most over guys belong in the main event yes from a fans point of view. But this isn’t always the case for many reasons and the game will hopefully replicate this and give people situation where they have to go against what the fans appear to want.

I’m mean that’s what playing TEW is all about

 14. That would depend if perception is based on ‘fans of the company’ or wrestling fins in general. If you sign someone doesnthen’perception’ come over with them
 15. It’s something I’ve hoped for too. I believe everyone in the real world has a: - company pop - wrestling world pop - world pop
 16.

If the previous games are anything to go by, you can still filter by popularity and the like to make sure your most popular Major Star is the one headlining everything.

Yes you can, but the current ‘push’ and ‘autopush’ Is something that just has it all set out on your main roster screen without having to click, filter, sort etc. Might be a little thing but it is a big in terms of having to go through extra clicks and things.

As I say, I’m sure Adam will have an alternative.... if not I hope he considers something because such a great sounding big change to the game could also remove something that streamlined a lot of things such as what I and others have mentioned.

I suppose if you don’t use the current push system that way, then it’s hard to see how reliant some of us are on it

 17.

Good point but we always can tag a worker into a category and separate like that. I feel like the need for staff feedback is even more of a hot commodity now. I can see myself going through a creative block on who to push and who to put on the mid card. Maybe there will be other elements to making such decisions...Will a roster full of major stars mean I have a roster full of main eventers?

I should imagine there will be something to help. This is a major change for the good, but I’ve seen before in games sometimes features taken out that were helpful.

As you say staff feedback is something the game would really benefit from, and although the old way of ‘pushes’ had more linked to, for me it was one of the only things ‘staff’ helped with. I can see why it’s been taken out as the new way sounds much better, I just want us to be able to use the old way of sorting our roster and auto push (to be classed as a staff suggestion)

If you have a roster of only 20 major stars, you do have 20 main eventers in terms of the fans would accept you booking any of them as main eventers, but you wouldn’t book them all as main eventers.

 18.

Wouldn't that be up to you though? So if you had a roster of all major stars you would just choose who you felt were the priority to book who who you want to book? Or am I misunderstanding? I mean if you have just 20 major stars (which I'm assuming was an extreme example) isn't putting one of them as "opener" just the same as treating him like one anyway?

Yes that’s correct.

But it was just so helpful to have the roster set out in that way. When planning, booking, deciding who to sign, and many other things. Even more so going back to a save after a few weeks or longer.

The auto push was very helpful in arranging this and helping me decide what storylines, who I would push etc.

Also using auto push after every PPV show to help see changes.

 19.
Today’s entry is great with one issue

First of all the way Adam has explained it sounds much more realistic. This is a massive change in the game and sounds like it’s for the better.

The only issue I have (there maybe something added that solves this) is that pushes being assigned actually helped me so much in terms of booking, knowing who was where on the roster and sorting my roster out. If I have a roster of just 20 major stars, I haven’t got 20 main eventers. Even thought the fans would buy it, the roster would still be structured to have openers etc.

Like I said there maybe another way to do it, but is there the possibility the old way of sorting your roster (and autopushes) could benthere, purely for arranging the roster? It wouldn’t be ‘visible’ to the world eg fans/workers.

 20. Yeah I don’t think to be a good road agent for angles you would need acting skills. It’s almost like a creative skill would be needed. Although it would be interesting to see how/if Adam implements it
 21. I didn’t know this, although it ties in with momentum which ties in with popularity I suppose it has an indirect effect
 22.

I hope we can hurt someone in angles like we do in matches and stuff like that, getting the ability to set similar, and hopefully new goals. Curious to see what the dos agent addition brings to the table.

I think we can already isn’t there an injury risk already? But because we set them ourselves for each angle most probably don’t use it

 23. Yes, I was hoping for the ‘rated on’ to be replaced with, beats up, promo, fights etc. And replacing ‘major loss’ etc, to be replaced so we would choose x beats up y. I totally misread the entry, thinking this had changed when reading it again it appears that ‘fights’ is added as another thing to be rated on such as menace etc. But hopefully the fights will still take into account different attributes.
 24. No mate I probably didn’t type it in a way to make it look like that. I find using mobiles for forums easy to either misread things or not type things in Ann easy to read way lol. I’ve done both in this thread alone
