1. Hey everyone. I just did a long sim with basically the default data until 2031. One of the things that stood out to me was no one reaching Titanic size. SWF have run away with this sim and are a large company with about a billion dollars in the bank. They qualify as a Titanic company in every region except Tasmania, where they are only a 55. In Oceania, their sizes are as follows New South Wales - 91 Queensland - 91 South Australia - 80 Victoria - 89 Western Australia - 80 Tasmania - 55 New Zealand - 80 Their broadcasters cover Tasmania the same way they cover the rest of the regions in the area, so I assume this is tied to area importance which I believe is now called Potential Fan Base. Tasmania has a "Tiny" potential fan base of 15%, which I understand is because of it's remoteness and lack of professional wrestling culture. So due to the way Potential Fan Base is set up in the default database, is it actually not possible to reach titanic size? What am I missing in the equation here for Tasmania? Just trying to understand this a little better! Thanks.
 2. It would be nice to a have a performance center tab where it lists the workers currently training there with their recent performance gains all on one page. Unless something like that exists I don't know about? (very possible)
 3. Interesting how little chatter there has been around the largest company in the game. Anybody playing with USPW? Has menace being nerfed down turned people away? Or is USPW too big to present an interesting game? I started a new game to poke around and realized with their starting funds I could launch a performance center with 100%/100%, the largest child company and a TV broadcaster for the child company with medium coverage everywhere in the world and still have millions left over. I think I'm going to create a copy of the game after doing that and sign some of the bigger available names, resign and see how they do a few years into the future. What are some ways people have had fun with USPW?
 4.
Medium sized strategy!

I'm six months in and have been running with the default event and TV schedule for BCG. I estimate we are a month or so away from hitting medium for the first time.

What changes have you made with BCG when you hit this mark? I'm curious how people change their schedule and specifically what broadcasters they look at.

I'm trying to figure out if I should keep the schedule I have but also add a weekly TV show. I'm not sure which broadcaster makes the most sense once I make the jump. It seems like you need 40 pop in 8 regions to get anything new. Should all current broadcasting deals be upgraded?

Having lots of fun with this, it's my first try in Japan after owning like the last 4 iterations of TEW and it's been great with BCG so far.

 8. I know the game is still evolving in what best or common practices are used, but I wanted to see if there was any consensus on running shows for small American companies. How many shows per month? What kind of shows? What broadcasters are most helpful as a company first putting their promotion on one? I know there are a lot of factors involved here and it doesn't even touch on money necessarily but I wanted to see people's opinions. Thanks!
 9. I’m still going to buy the game, but this has definitely been the worst part of the new game for me. Thank you everyone, can’t wait to continue playing.
 10. Can’t wait to play! Love the intro graphics.
 11. Any guidance on where to actually start with a blank database? I have an idea for a small fantasy mod I'd like to do from scratch. I've been reading the handbook and playing the game with a few different companies to try and understand the products better and their relationship to workers. But when you have nothing in a new database, what is the first thing you do? Create companies? Fully create the companies with product / money / popularity or just the shell and come back later? Create workers? Again with stats and popularity fully fleshed out then create the companies? I know there will be a lot of tinkering regardless where you begin and that seems to be a lot of what you are doing on the front end if you are importing a mod (not that this isn't difficult and creative in itself) but again, I'm looking at a blank database and wondering how to start the workload for a fantasy mod.
 12. I added a few company logos to the google sheet. Haven't done these before so let me know if they are fine quality wise, they don't have to be the definitive versions.
 13. This looks great, I couldn't figure out how to get it to run but I love how it looks. I'm playing TEW through Parallels so maybe that has something to do with it because I follow it to the letter. Either way, very cool way to look at the data.

But yes, you gain pop the same regardless of region now and it's the differing size criteria which makes things varied.

Thank you for the answer.

 15. This stems from another question I had but is something from previous games I'm not seeing here and couldn't find in the handbook. Do areas still have importance? Is it still harder to gain popularity in areas like Hawaii and Puerto Rico than Tri State? I feel like the answer here is no because for Hawaii and Puerto Rico you need to get a higher level of popularity to rise to Medium and Big. So I'm thinking you gain popularity the same way regardless of region, it just takes longer to get to those marks. Thanks again everyone
 16. Thanks for the heads up, I was playing with Patch #9 so I’ll look out for the next one. EDIT: As an additional note (as I now went and read what I believe is the forum post where this was mentioned), the intent of my show was “tour”. I believe this may have resulted in the no popularity gain even though the grade was 23 points higher than the popularity. EDIT 2: In case anyone comes back to read what I was experiencing, it was definitely having the tour option selected as my intent. I ran another show two days later with "normal intent", the attendance was up from 61 to a sold out 300, the rating was a 56 and the company increased in popularity.
 17. As always, thanks in advance to everyone who can help me understand things I read the growing your company section of the handbook for the following issue. There it says receiving a grade at least 5 points higher will net you some popularity. I ran an event in Puerto Rico with FCW that received a 54. Their starting popularity is 31. I didn't receive a note after the show that the show gained us any popularity. Normally I'd check the in game editor to see if we went up by a decimal but that's not there. Is there a factor I'm not considering? Does this have to do with area importance? (I don't even know if this is in the game anymore truthfully) Does the game just not say every time if you've gained popularity or not? Economy is 43 and rising and Wrestling Industry is 34 and falling. Thanks again for all the help.
 18. He hasn’t been active in awhile but my head immediately went to Whistler. Even in TEW 2016 I’d drag him back into the ring for no good reason. I’m not a sucker for patriotic characters in the CVerse but for whatever reason he does it for me. Treat him like Jim Duggan and push him to the moon. Commissioner Whistler still lives.
 19. Usually when I ran a show on TEW2016, I’d end with a freestyle angle graded on overness with a couple of the top workers. So far when I’ve done that in TEW, the rating gets significantly lower than the overall pop of the workers. (Example, they are in 80s for popular and the angle will score in the 50s or 60s). I also receive the note saying the crowd thinks nothing interesting happened here. But if I run an identical angle earlier in the show, I don’t get the crowd not interested note. Can anyone help me logic this out? I have crowd management turned off in preferences. Thanks!
 20. Ah well, thank you for the answer. One day I'll get to resurrect BoSC and take them to the top.
 21. I've seen the product note, I believe for TCW, that says "angles that are primarily based on sex appeal have their overall rating limited". Does this mean with the right product, that sex appeal angles will no longer have a cap / their overall rating limited?
 22. I’ve been played for two days now with a new skin (which I think is necessary) and I think 90% of the game feels good. I’d like a couple buttons back, a few numbers bigger but I like perception and I like the new product system. I definitely a fan of what I’ve experienced so far with gimmicks. Can’t wait to play a long save.
