  1. I'm sure I'm missing it, but is there a way to turn script storylines off? Thank you.
  2. I think it's nice how many different types of companies in different situations exist. It would seem like an incredible and almost unrealistic fall from grace if USPW weren't on top at this point in cverse wrestling history. There's gotta be a Manchester City and Chelsea on top for you to bring down.
  3. Apologies if this has already been posted, tried to scan for it. The button I really miss is the static button to be able to move segments up and down on the booking screen. The individual buttons next to each match and angle make it very tiring to scroll my mouse up with the movement. Wish I just had a button I could mash like TEW 2016. Thank you.

  5. Small note that only came to me because of some of the color separation in the game. Under the daily available articles on the website page, everything is listed by whatever algorithm is being used and show results are listed in yellow. Is it possible to just have the news stories grouped? So Injuries, Retirements, New Storylines, Results etc kept in the same place just organized by story type? I think it would make it visually simpler to read and eliminate the need for results to be yellow yet nothing else color coded. Just a thought. Thank you.
  6. There's too many boxes and lines. The only other computer game I really play is Football Manager which I don't think this is much different than. Both have an excel looking format but you don't have literal lines drawn everywhere in Football Manager. You alternate between three different color shades so that your eyes can easily follow the line. That's all that I think was needed here. Some of the sections of the pages use this strategy but it's inconsistent. Instead it's hard to focus because of all the boxes and lines. I don't know what page is the worst example of all this but the title history and match history seem very bad. There are so many lines when you have something like the Creative Meeting screen open, the previous screen background is so busy it's hard to focus on the open tab. There also seems to be some repetition which I don't understand. Like if you are on in a list of workers you can see their skills. Then there is a button you can select called skills. If you select skills, it takes you to pages that not only give you the same information but also are the same size. I don't know. I'm not a developer or anything. It seems like some things could be eliminated to make it not so busy. I really enjoy being able to compare wrestlers skills, that's very helpful. Comparing title prestige across different companies is super fun too.
  7. Turned our first profit heading into the month of August. $34,000 earned, total balance at $618,000. Popularity gain has been a little tougher. Economy (5) and Wrestling Industry (17) have been falling since the start of the save which has added to the difficulty. We are up to 42 popularity and 31 importance. Our shows have about 1,800 people showing up right now, once the economy and wrestling industry go up the margins should be a bit better and we can continue to earn money towards our network. We are not killing it with shows grades. Sometimes we gain pop, sometimes we don't. Since we don't have to have regional battles I want to continue to work with the guys that brought us here and have them improve as much as possible even if it just means middling grades for now. We averaged a 53 show grade over our 12 events in July.
  8. Made it to regional! Took 49 shows from their starting place (I believe I booked one show with no popularity growth). Bank balance down to about $650,000 which is still plenty. I haven't gone on massive signing sprees, I've added more people at the bottom of the card to fill out the comedy division. Only characters consistently in the main event that I didn't mention before are Silver Tiger and The Sensational Singh. At the start of the game I bumped all of our production values up so we didn't get dinged for any penalties. We spend $7,000-$8,000 per show. I'd prefer to not sign any big pop free agents or overly talented workers but the temptation is always there. Since we are running a lot of shows I'm hoping the entertainment stats of these workers keeps improving, giving us better angle grades/show grades with them and slowly more pop in Hawaii. If we stay on pace and run 150 shows this first year and keep the roster around 20-25 I should be able to get everyone's entertainment stats in a pretty high range. Goal is still to only run shows in Hawaii and not expand to any outside regions. Raise our pop high enough here that we are turning a profit and then stockpile the money on our way to making our own broadcaster to cover America. Once we do that, we will start gaining popularity everywhere and can look to cult but that will take awhile.
  9. <p>Started up a small Kanzen game as my last save on TEW 2016. </p><p> </p><p> Booking fast, three shows a week. Ultimate goal is to start my own subscription network and never run shows outside of hawaii, just expand through the network. </p><p> </p><p> Main players are hometown hero Clark Alexander, Team Gold (Raphael and Simon Waves) and Fox Mask. Giving Fearless Blue, Jose Flamenco, Hawkeye Calhoun and Mascara Delfin prominent time in the beginning on our way to regional. </p><p> </p><p> Been fun trying to use characters I haven't in saves in the previous four years. Excited to see how far I get before TEW 2020.</p>
  10. What cverse company’s Product would you say mirrors an NWA product the closest? Active or yet to debut companies. Thanks.
  11. I usually try and pick people that are over but maybe not interesting without a title or an icon that has had a few runs already to pad their reigns.
  12. Do alliance titles count towards the Hall of Immortals title count?
  13. I usually try to find tag chemistry for everyone and then I book tag team and six man matches forever until I quit the save.
  14. Who is the most untraditional person you put the world title on? I love giving Joe Sexy and Robbie Retro runs with the belt. I stole Dusty Ducont and made him a Runaway Train type in one save as well. Curious who everybody else likes to push for fun!
  15. <p>Is there a cap to ratings for a comedy / eye candy matches?</p><p> </p><p> I'm running Babes of Sin City Wrestling and my eye candy matches seem to top out at 71, about 10 of them are my highest rated matches thus far. I have all of them run about 8-9 minutes. </p><p> </p><p> It feels like too many to be a conconindence. </p><p> </p><p> I wanted to try and make a comedy / eye candy promotion into one of the top companies in the game world but does TEW prohibit that?</p><p> </p><p> Thanks in advance everyone.</p>
  16. <p>Thank you so much for this. I haven’t played WOTI in a long time and this is great fun to have it. </p><p> </p><p> Small change to note, ROH and WCW/NWO have match intensities that automatically get dinged because of the product. Those need to be lowered for anybody playing as one of the two. </p><p> </p><p> Thanks again!</p>
  17. Hey guys, I'm playing as a Japanese company for the first time, specially BCG. To play as a touring company and add touring shows, do you just go to schedule -> add event and create a couple weekly shows? I think that's how to do it but I'm not positive. Thanks in advance!

Q-TV only makes deals with companies based in that area.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> You're right, 4C are based in Ontario. I had misunderstood the "Must Cover Home" description. I thought it was eligible to any Canadian promotion, not specifically Quebecois, and that distinction was specifically to block like a Japanese company from negotiating a deal. I guess the only promotion that broadcaster is for is the randomly debuting Quebec Pro Wrestling. How odd. Thank you for the answer!</p>
  19. <p>Could anyone tell me why 4C isn't able to negotiate a broadcasting deal with Q-TV in the default data at the start of the game? I'm obviously missing something but to me it appears they meet the requirements (but obviously they don't!) I've created a show for them in the TV Controls screen but it still says they are unwilling to negotiate. </p><p> </p><p> Thank you.</p>

Or at least as a B show for now, will grow their pop and see what makes sense once they are more popular in America. I'm putting some lesser used main roster guys over there too as a sort of Japanese excursion for veterans, running with them as the gaijins.</p>
  21. <p>I'm in March 2017 as SWF. </p><p> </p><p> I was able to buy PGHW when they were going bankrupt. I took over the contracts of quite a few active wrestlers (Yoshimi, Seiji, Kozue, PRIDE, Masaru, KitoGuchi). Everyone is hovering around 10 popularity and they don't speak English yet. </p><p> </p><p> How would you guys integrate them into the roster? I don't necessarily want to do an invasion angle per se but I'm not opposed to keeping them together as a large stable. </p><p> </p><p> So storywise and in game mechanics, what would you guys do? Is there an in game manager that speaks English and Japanese that you would use as a mouthpiece that would be cool in story?</p><p> </p><p> I thought about running some shows in Japan to use their popularity to kickstart them getting some early good grades but I've only started broadcasting in Japan myself so most of my roster has popularity around 20-50 in that region. </p><p> </p><p> I'd love to build Yoshimi up to face Jack Bruce in a Once in a Lifetime match at Supreme Challenge if I can get his popularity high enough. </p><p> </p><p> Let me know what you guys think!</p>
  22. Does anyone have a true backyard wrestling product? It doesn’t need to be gamey, looking for a product that would accurately reflect like 4 guys with no training trying to do moves in a ring with no one watching. Thank you!
