Having a properly warmed but not burnt out crowd can swing a match an entire letter grade or even two in my experiences. Make great use of minor (worker backstage walking, etc) angles to let the crowd breathe between two huge matches back to back. Try incorporating storylines as well, which provide hefty bonuses once the stories start to get over.

Crowd management is not on, I have storylines. Gosh darn it it must be the automatic call in the ring! Either that or my game is cursed. Top puro guys must get a huge bonus from call in the ring. Not at computer right now, but I'll find out soon. This is 1 of the greatest mysteries in TEW history.

None of them fixed the problem. I wasn't picking horrible road agents notes either according to the dirt sheet. I only was once in a while. I've tried to change everything, and I can't find the cause. The only thing I can think of was not leaving the call in the ring note on automatically.

I barley used any road agent notes to see if they were causing the worse off matches. I use the dirt sheet. The road agent notes weren't causing any major problems except for 2 or 3 matches at the most. There was 1 major thing I changed that I forgot about. I got rid of the automatic call in ring every match. I didn't use it much because I wasn't using many road agent notes. PGHW has pretty much all the top Puro rating guys in the Cornellverse. I wonder if you get a huge bonus for using call in ring with top Puro rating guys. My gut told me the psychology rating effected how good call in the ring worked. I'll check on that tomorrow. That might be it.

Sorry, don't mean to sound arrogant, but getting good grades with the right workers is pretty easy. 5.
Sorry for all of the questions. I'm new to playing the game.

1. Can a development company sign a contract with a broadcast company? I don't have an option to do this.

2. What is the point of having 4-5 minute segments? I have some workers that have a mid 80 popularity rating. I like to do angles with them based on overness. I know that you need at least 4 minutes in a segment for it to count towards the show rating, but when I do a 4-5 minute segment at the best it gets around mid 80s because in the dirt sheet it says the rating was capped because of the length of the segment. If I do a 9-10 minute segment than I don't have that capped penalty and sometimes I can get ratings 90+. Why would I ever want to do a 4-5 minute segment when the rating gets capped?

3. Why can the AI get such better ratings than me? I'm playing the Cornellverse 2010 mod. When I don't play as PGHW, PGHW are able to consistently get show ratings of 88-93. When I play PGHW I consistently get ratings between 77-86. I tried changing the products drastically, and not changing the product at all. I tried using tons of road agents notes, and very few road agent notes. I tried the same thing with match aims. I've tried having a high motivation rating and a low motivation rating. There was never anything majorly wrong with morale or the backstage area. I've tried all of these things but I still can't get my workers to get the same ratings as the AI can. Muruyama, Ugaki, Miwa, Kwakami, Kawashima, and Diaz are getting ratings that I usually can't get them to have. I can't figure out why this is happening.

 6. Allman is supposed to anti-SE yet PWI is heavy mainstream. I always wondered if others heavily lower the anti-SE rating of PWI when they play it. I do whether I am playing them or not. I feel like it should be set to low or very low. Sounds like what WWE is rumored to be doing in 2018.

I believe there's a dropdown box making the show a highlight show, which affects the level of quality (I believe it lowers the necessary level by an appreciable degree, but I could be mistaken).

Thanks for the answer! I don't know how I missed that! If a worker appears in an angle but is not rated on anything in the angle, can the angle still affect their popularity?

 8. Are you guys playing for a top 5 company, or are you guys playing for lower-tier companies, because I wouldn't of expected the people you mentioned unless it was a lower-tier company. I was interested in Samoan Destruction Inc as a team that mostly loses in PGHW. The thing is 1 of them always gets a written deal in 16, luckily that doesn't happy in the 10 mod I am playing.

You can land a TV deal for your tour highlights though if you want some extra income and exposure.

What I wanted to do was have the tour highlights, but I read they got rid of the option for tour highlights in TEW16. I looked in my save game, and also tried to edit the database and I cannot find the option to have a TV show that just does tour highlights.

Never mind I figured out how to do tour highlights. When you click on "new deal for" there is an option for tour highlights. I don't see a way to select tour highlights when you edit the database, so it can be set up before you start a game. This doesn't matter to me at all, but I thought I should point it out.

 10. Do you get penalized for not running a TV show? I'm running PGHW and want to run 4 small events during the touring month, and then have 1 big event during the month. By quick comparison, the Tverse has about 70 active female wrestlers who can work in the US with Sex Appeal of B or better. Some of those are on Written deals and unavailable, but that's still quite a few. The Cverse has about 45, with as many or more unavailable on Written deals. A couple RW mods don't look to have notably more than the Tverse either.

I see what I did wrong. I went in filter and searched for women who can work USA, to view, and have at least Great Sex Appeal, and only counted them. I have no idea why. I've been burnt out lately. Anyway, I look through the women again and I don't know where you are getting 70 from. I did can work is USA, Good Sex Appeal, to View and found 30. That includes 3 workers scouted high enough so I could see their full number which had close to a 65. I do feel though that there is enough now. Been in a fog lately, I should of went to Good Sex Appeal and not Great Sex Appeal. I wasn't comparing the Thunderverse to other mods.

Also, I would HIGHLY recommend starting your own company. That is what I would only do if it wasn't for my love of PGHW.

1. When I book a company, titles are treated as more important than at any time in wrestling history, most likely. I like being able to see all of the past champions instead of just viewing them in history.

2. I don't like how title history is done in any fictional mods, and seeing that titles are so important to me that is a big thing. If I was to play as another already created fed I would have to redo the title history and make it realistic up to a tee. I'm very, very, very obsessive with some things in life, and that includes realism in an important part of a project. TEW falls into that. You can view the PGHW official thread for more on that if you would like. That title history I did is outdated though, because I didn't find it realistic enough. I'm posting the new title history as part of a mod I will be releasing in the next week or 2. Might as well not post it for suspense or something <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />.

3. I don't have to change the roster around by hiring a lot of guys, trying to fire some other guys if they aren't written, and not knowing what to do with some guys that aren't talented enough to be on my roster. I like being able to pick out my roster from who I see as best right from the start.

4. You get to view the entire history of the promotion.

 13.
From the update thread

You can continue existing save games with patches.

Does this mean that saved games will have the positive effects of the patches even if the game started before the patch was created?

There's plenty of available talent to assemble a roster not unlike that on the show.

I think the opposite. There isn't much female eye candy in the Thunderverse in my opinion.

 15.

Damn thing about destiny rolls, eh?

Yeah I guess so. I've only played one long term game in the Cornellverse, so I don't have any sample size. Thanks for the tip though, I'll make sure to sign him again.

This is a really fun thread, one of the reasons why I bumped it.

 16.

Bulldozer Brandon Smith.

Guy is Vader and could be one of the best gaijins in Japan history or should be main eventing TCW by now. Like I would love to see an alliance between PGHW and TCW based on him and Bryan Vessey, etc.

Bulldozer Brandon Smith - Basically the C-Verse's version of Stan Hansen, so if you're playing as a Puro fed and you haven't signed him yet then what are you doing

I brought him into PGHW and was not impressed.

 17. Has anyone ever used a woman's division solely for eye candy, and to calm the crowd/work the crowd? Does it work well in the Thunderverse? I was planning on running this for a low cult promotion in America. The thing is I was very surprised with how few available woman workers had high sex appeal ratings. Even including the woman with exclusive deals there aren't that many. I feel like I would have to use a woman division for this as the male wrestlers I have are going to greatly outshine the women. There are only a few good woman wrestlers in the Thunderverse.

Now don't get me wrong TEW is fun and a lot of people create some great content, but anything that isn't working on yourself and working on improving your life is a distraction from making your life better. TEW is a bandage that might temporarily, but will eventually come off.

 19.

It's mostly for petty reasons, as in real life. But if you're bigger you can cripple the other company (again, for petty reasons) and pretty much take their talent at will.

How? According to the description all it does is force exclusive contracts, which both companies already have, and allows the dirty trick options, which in the long run are going to hurt both companies at war. I don't see how it increases the likelihood of crippling them.

 20.

A year in and the Cverse is in an interesting place

SWF took back that number 1 spot from USPW pretty damn quick and are now reigning supreme once again

South of the border pro wrestling, made a surprising splash to steal some top level American talent like Rick Law, Rich Money, BLZ Bubb, Randy Bumfhole and most recently signing Bryan Vessey. I imagine them stealing a decent bulk of USPW main eventers is part of the big hit USPW took to fall back to 2nd place.

Also PGHW passed BHOTWG as number 1 promotion in Japan and even WLW is nipping at the heels to steal the 2nd spot for themselves, which would be an insane fall for BHOTWG.

And only one premature death with Duke Hazzard falling into a shark tank at an aquarium

BHOTWG doesn't start with elite talent. It didn't in my 2016 game or 2010 game. PGHW is way more stacked.

 21. What is the benefit of going to war with someone? It only seems to hurt you because of the exclusive deals and the dirty tricks.
 22. Random scenario I thought about as I am booker for a company that has an owner that is almost 70. If the owner of the company you are booking for dies or leaves the wrestling world can you apply to replace him as owner? Or does the game choose an owner without you having any control?
 23. Are you going to have bios for the characters? Man, this must be tons and tons of work. Thanks for doing this!
