  2. <p>Not sure what the definition of underrated is, but I never hear anyone talk about how great these 2 guys are. I've only played them on the Cornellverse 2010 TEW 2016 mod maybe that's why. </p><p> </p><p> Bussho Makiguchi and Chojiro Kitoaji most of the time are next big things and become great workers and improve a lot from the start of the game very, very quickly. When they hit 100 experience they are going to be phenomenal. </p><p> </p><p> The only problem I have with them is I can't think of any gimmick for them. Nothing comes to mind other then they are just 2 dudes. I'm using a gimmick of they win all the time and are elite in the ring so chear for them please.</p>

Backup the folders I wanted to save, redownload the game, and then replace the new folders from the redownloaded game with the folders I backed up. 4. <p>None of my Grey Dog Software games will start. I will click the icon, and see the loading sign instead of the mouse sign flick on once or twice, and I do get the confirmation for administration rights, but none of the programs will start. Nothing else happens. Before I posted this problem in the technical form I was going to try to uninstall the game and then re-download it. My question is if I re-download the game can I still use the Databases, Music, Pictures, Skins, and System folders that I was using before? I wanted to ask this before I re-downloaded the game. </p><p> </p><p> I'm using the latest patch, then I tried to use an earlier patch to see if anything would change but it didn't.</p>

  7. WillyWillyWilly, where did you find that skin? It is awesome.
  8. The TNA roster was so phenomenal in 2008 I would play that instead. As far as storylines I don't have any but I would focus on making the x division badass again and being the first company to push women like the men. They might of already been doing that at that time, not sure.

SANADA looks like such a dope with that thing on. I can't believe BUSHI wouldn't give him some advice. His masks are awesome.</p>
  10. That color of blue on those SNP belts is awesome! I'm in love with that color. Cool to see SAISHO get some new stuff for my PGHW game. Thanks!

I had the same thought as you had about not understand what the point of TV shows. I've given up using them in my current games as they always seemed to score lower than Regular matches in the main event - do they need a calmed crowd for maximum effect?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> It is good to use Epic/Spectacle if you get a dirt sheet note that says that a worker is good at working an epic or spectacle style match. You will then get a bonus every time they wrestler one. I haven't used them much but I believe they work best if you do use them after a match that calmed the crowd down or with a crowd that isn't particularly hot.</p>

I think the Thunderverse is more popular then the Cornellverse too. It probably is seeing that Adam Ryland even said it was his favorite database.</p>
  16. Random question. Why do the Cornellverse alts have multiple different "styles" to them while the Thunderverse alts all have the same "style" alt? Is it a certain program you guys use or something?
  17. Anyone have a good pimp name? Currently I have Guido Flashdaddy. I like Flashdaddy but I think I could do better than Guido.
  18. I'm making this a separate post because people won't read this if they read my last post, not realizing I edited it. I've been simming with the database and I've noticed how BHOTWG in the beginning to middle 2000s gets company of the year basically every year and Japan has almost all of the top talents in the Power 500, yet BHOTWG it always at #3 behind HGC and SWF. The AI is stupid with BHOTWG for some reason. There isn't anything Derek B could of done, it is just something really weird. So, BHOTWG is kicking butt with their shows, but they won't sign tv deals that give them good exposure outside of Japan. Another really weird thing is that most of the time them signing contracts that would greatly help them outside the United States would barley hurt them in Japan, yet they won't do it. If you want to make your game ever better this is what you do. If you notice BHOTWG kicking butt with their shows, but staying locked in at #3 what you do is at the end of each year create a new player and assign them as booker to BHOTWG. Have them sign contracts that will help them get the most exposure outside Japan. As long as it doesn't crippler them in Japan (I have yet to see it happen) then do it. If you have to cancel some current deals (a lot of times they will have Japanese deals that include Hawaii, and you are going to want to sign them to contracts that are big across the United States) then do it, and give them the money back in the editor. Sign the deals for 2 years so they don't try to cancel them. After you sign the contracts then get rid of the player. Do this at the end of every year. This makes this awesome mod even more enjoyable and more realistic!
  19. Anyone else find it super fun it take over a indy company and sign the top talent in the game, and than just autobook the results along with changing a few things if you want? It is super fun to be able to see a company progress for 20 years without having to do much work, and see it climb itself to being a power.

I occasionally run month long feuds but I don't make them official storyline feuds for fear that they'd have a negative effect due to the length</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I'm pretty sure there isn't a specific minimum length. I've ended feuds very quickly before because the workers had bad chemistry, and I created the storyline before realizing this.</p>
  21. <p>So basically, when I start to edge towards the time frame that WCW and ECW experience issues, I should edit them to have more money in order to continue any battle we may have? Thanks</p><p> </p><p> Yes</p><p> </p><p> Second question is how do I get a TV deal for my child company? I have created a show every Friday but I can't get a TV deal for them. Is it something that they organise themselves?</p><p> </p><p> The AI does it unless you create your own broadcaster which costs mega bucks.</p>
  22. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Danny_H22" data-cite="Danny_H22" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41194" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Currently looking at the 'narratives' section of the editor and it obviously has ECW and WCW struggling finanically around 2001. I am running WWF in 1998 and I don't want them to go bust, nor do i want to have to purchase them.<p> </p><p> So my question is, will this definitely happen unless I remove them?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> You can go in the editor under the companies section and change the amount of money they have to whatever you want.</p>
  23. <p><img alt="Capture.jpg" data-src="https://s29.postimg.org/esjoxooc7/Capture.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> 1. For touring months, I get that the smaller shows draw in less of an attendance than the bigger shows. That is easy to see. My question is do the bigger shows affect popularity growth less than the smaller shows do? They should. For example New Japan has their main shows, and than they have "road to" shows that are just filled with multi-man matches that basically no one talks about or pays attention to. The quality of those shows is nothing special, but their main/big shows are by far the best in wrestling today. I book my shows the same way, unless there is a tournament going on. The smaller shows really shouldn't effect popularity much, especially compared to the bigger shows. My bigger shows are usually my best shows, like they should be. I would hope they don't effect popularity equally. I can't tell if they do so far in my game.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> 2. I think this is a bug but I'm not sure. Maybe the more experienced members of the game can help me with this. </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="shark_per_apperance.jpg" data-src="https://s17.postimg.org/7m1g3go7j/shark_per_apperance.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <img alt="sharkpermonth.jpg" data-src="https://s17.postimg.org/w3tjrcqrz/sharkpermonth.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> It says on the main page that the contract is paid every month, but if you click on the yellow writing next to the words contact, than it says it is per appearance. I thought this was supposed to be per month. That is what it said when I first signed the contract. I'm pretty sure it is per month and that that is just a typo, because if it was my development company would be costing me tons of money with the roster I have on it. I went into the editor and I calculated the amount of money the company started with and what the company has now. At that rate the company has only cost me $17,936. The development section under the finance section has $35,763 and $34,216, so I assume that is for running the development company, and not the actual salaries of the workers, because it is was those wouldn't be the numbers. I wish I would of been paying more attention to when I hired a new owner for the company, because the owner is labeled as rich and he might of put money into the company. Still, he would of had to put in a lot of money if these contracts were pay per appearance. Again, I think it must be a typo. I was wondering if a more experienced member knew the answer for sure. Thanks guys! <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  24. My golly miss molly I didn't see this coming. I'm running perf>pop to the highest level. I brought in Billy Russell, Oleg Dorosklov, Pistol Pete Hall, Roy Edison, and Yasuhide Tayama. They were the guys with the highest popularity available. The whole point of bringing them in is to lose and usually get dominated by all of my guys, most of all the next big things and young wrestlers who are at enhancement talent-lower mid carder. The plan was eventually their morale crashes (locker room is so strong I can afford it), they cause 1 or 2 bad backstage incidents, and I fire them for it. Doing that makes me feared even more as an owner. I'm playing PGHW. Listen to this horrible matchup. The matchup is Billy Russell, Oleg Dorosklov, Pistol Pete Hall, Roy Edison, and Ryu Kajahara vs. Junnosuke Fukazawa, Danger Kumasaka, Masayuki Shiga, Yoshuke Narita, and Yasuhide Tayama. No road agent notes. Oleg gets a 87! Edison and Russell get 74 and 72 which is just as good as my undercard gets. And most of all the match got a 72 .
  25. Dread and Danger Kumasaka have really bad time decline. Yosuke Narita has it pretty bad, and Shuji Inukai is at the lowest stage of time decline. Time decline isn't a problem. Both have at least B in psychology Few weeks before I tried for Bussho Makiguchi to have a call in the ring match and the road agent said that he shouldn't of had a call in the ring match, so I didn't use it here. Both had at least a B in psychology. American Elemental before got a shockingly high grade in a Steal The Show match, so that is why I selected it. All 3 had at least a B in psychology Raymond Diaz has at least a B in psychology, Yasuda does not. I wanted to test my theory out here about great puro rating wrestlers needing call in ring. Either I'm wrong about it or Yasuda isn't as good at pure as I thought. The fog of war is still very strong. Having Yasuda call in ring negated the benefit of the chemistry. All 4 had at least a B in psychology I'm going to have to start scripting Kozue's matches, because I have had so many problems with him and psychology. The fog of war is still super strong on him so I couldn't tell how bad the psychology was. The filter option showed he didn't have at least a B. W1. Visibly gets tired after 20 minute steal the show match. W2. Struggles with psychology of slow build match W3. Doesn't have good psychology for spectacle W4. Suffers lack of psychology in match with Toshiharu Hyobanashi This has completely baffled me. Shuji Inukai has a 10/10 scouting rating and a 83/B+ psychology rating. Eisaku Kunomasu also has a 10/10 scouting rating and a 83/B+ psychology rating. The reason I choose an epic match was because the dirt sheet told me Shuji Inukai has good psychology for the epic type match. The show ended up with a 84/B+ rating. The AI's top 15 minutes after 7 small shows and 1 large show. I have run 6 small shows and 1 large show. 1. Eisaku Kunomasu defeated Raymond Diaz 98/A* 2. Team Energy defeated Miwa & Kwakami 98/A* 3. Akinori Kwakami defeated Nobuatso Tatsuko 97/A* 4. Nobuatso Tatsuko defeated Raymond Diaz 96/A* 5. Team Energy defeated Miwa & Kwakami 94/A 6. Mito Miwa defeated Alexander Robinson 93/A 7. Shuji Inukai defeated Kozue Kawashima 93/A 8. Akinori Kwakami defeated Nobuatso Tatsuko 92/A 9. Mito Miwa defeated Nobuatso Tatsuko 92/A 10. Bryan Holmes defeated Chojuro Kitoaji 90/A 11. Team Energy defeated Miwa & Kwakami 90/A 12. Alexander Robinson defeated Bryan Holmes 90/A 13. Shuji Inukai defeated Kozue Kawashima 90/A 14. Noriyori Sanda defeated Alexander Robinson 88/B+ 15. Bryan Holmes defeated Washi Heat 88/B+ On a side note, wow does PGHW have a lot of guys with great psychology.
