  1. QAW 2020 POWER RANKINGS -- TOP 10 #2 "The Face of QAW" Alina America "Alina is the undeniable figurehead of QAW!" 2020 Win-Loss: 11-4 Average / best / worst match: 55 / 56 / 54 Age: 31 Experience: 10 years Nationality: Mexican Style: Wrestler Signature Moves: "Southern Lights Bomb" -- Northern Lights Bomb Split legged moonsault Career Highlights: 2 x QAW World Champion 1 x QAW Queen of the Ring 3 x QAW Shockwave Champion Tied for most Shockwave reigns 1 x WPL Women's Champion Notable relationships: Emma May [rival] Hellcat Hernandez [rival] Danielle Sweetheart [strained relationship] Pamela Rojo [strained relationship] The stunning Alina America is a gorgeous luchadora from the heart of Mexico City who now lives in Dallas. She first came to people's attention via the QAW, who she joined in time for their first ever show in 2010, with her combination of looks and technical skill being hard to ignore. She quickly became one of the break-out stars of the company, becoming the first wrestler to win three Shockwave titles and shooting up the card. She's now one of the biggest stars they have, a two time World champion, and it is almost guaranteed that she's going to end up in one of the bigger leagues eventually - booked correctly, she's virtually a license to print money... QAW Starshow 2020 Date: Fri W3 Jan 2020 Alina & Emma May had spent much of 2019 chasing the then champion Foxxy Larue; it was Alina that won that particular race and she defended against her rival straight away. However, Danielle Sweetheart returned at this time [having been injured by Emma previously] and she was inserted into the match as special guest referee... QAW World Championship Alina America © vs Emma May Special Guest referee: Danielle Sweetheart The match started with a feeling out process and Alina demonstrated great technical proficiency going hold for hold on the mat with Emma and the two exchanged a series of roll ups which Danielle counted fairly. Alina hit Emma with a victory roll at the 5 minute mark and almost got the 3 count causing Emma to roll out the ring. An irate Emma berated Danielle for a fast count from ringside but Danielle simply began counting her out. Emma broke the count a couple of times before a frustrated Alina gave chase around the ring and back inside-- Alina feinted sliding in the ring which drew Emma towards her and allowed her to trip a leg and drag her back outside the ring where she continued the attack. The close quarters at ringside favoured Emma and she ducked a high kick from Alina who connected with the ring post instead; she cried out in agony causing Danielle to exit the ring and check on her. This irritated Emma and she barged Danielle out the way and stomped away at Alina's leg until Danielle pushed her away as Alina clutched at her knee. The two exchanged heated words and Danielle could be heard threatening to DQ Emma if she touched her again. Both competitors re-entered the ring and circled each other mirroring the start of the match but Alina now had a limp which was blood in the water for Emma. The match then became a game of cat and mouse with Alina playing defence and avoiding the relentless attack on her left leg and endured a particularly nasty looking dragon screw which caused Alina to retreat into the corner with Emma in hot pursuit pelting Alina with strikes. This triggered Danielle to begin 5 counts but on 4 decided to pull Emma away instead of finishing. Emma shrugged it off initially and went back to work causing Danielle to pull her away more aggressively. Emma: What the hell are you doing?! Danielle: I warned you to keep it clean and you’re hitting the 5 count. I don’t want to disqualify you! Emma shoved Danielle to the ground and turned back to Alina who had hoisted herself to the top rope and surprised her with cross body block for a 2 count. Alina grabbed at her knee again as Emma rose to her feet but instead turned her attention back to Danielle in disbelief she made a count against her and the two pressed foreheads in the middle of ring seemingly on the verge of tearing each other apart. Danielle composed herself and backed away as Alina rallied to her feet who caught a menacing looking Emma into a Southern Lights Bomb for the 3-count, although Emma kicked out a fraction of a second after the final count. Winner: Alina America via pinfall in 17:57 [47] Road to Battlebowl 2020 special Date: Fri W3 May 2020 Alina fended off both Emma and Pamela Rojo and looked set for a solid reign. At the top of the year QAW formed the Women's Wrestling Council with 5SSW; as QAW's champion Alina toured with 5SSW ahead of facing off with 5SSW's champion Yuma Maruya. Alina came away with both the win and a budding friendship with Maruya... 5SSW World Champion: Yuma Maruya [A short video of career highlights play] Commissioner Bomb and Alina America Bomb: Last but by no means least, Alina America! Welcome to my office! America: Thank you for having me! Bomb: Alina, as the current reigning QAW World Champion, what do you think of this alliance? America: I don’t know if my fellow champions would admit to this but it is a dream come true for me. I didn’t have the easiest up bringing in Mexico. My family tried their hardest, and when I was a little girl I was very happy, but as I grew up I began to notice that we were actually very poor compared to other families. I thought it was normal for your parents to work at least 3 jobs at a time…! At times it felt as though the world was closing in around me and my future was decided already. But lucha libre saved my life. My abuela loved it! She would take me on special occasions to OLLIE shows and I just fell in love too. It was a total escape from reality and once I tasted it I didn’t want to let it go! So, when I was old enough I worked 3 jobs like my parents and saved up for wrestling training! At the dojo we used to swap wrestling dvds and one day someone gave me 5SSW Joshimania 2007, Sensational Ogiwara defeated Crusher Ichihara for her 8th world title reign. My eyes were opened to the wider world at that point, it was so different to lucha libre and everything that I thought wrestling was meant to be. It absolutely inspired me and 13 years later I’m here in America at the top of my game. And now I have the best of Japan knocking on my door to face me. Bomb: You sure do! To be specific you have 6 time 5SSW World Champion Yuma Maruya knocking! So, are you going to defeat her? America: Of course I am. Frankly, I can’t afford to think anything else! The woman has 17 years of experience. When I was learning how to bump on a crappy ring in someone’s backyard Yuma was winning championships. Before I even made my professional debut Yuma was a world champion! She is a one of a kind talent who can do everything I can, probably better too… She’s faced DEVIL Karube, Joanne Rodriguez and the Sensational Ogiwara herself... Bomb: You don’t sound very confident! America: When I was a little girl I used to look out of my window at the night sky and feel hopeless. The sky was so vast and I feared I would be stuck under the same patch of it forever. But I worked hard to chase my dream and I promise that little girl who dreamed of more that I will win at Battlebowl. Yuma Maruya, you may have notched some legendary names into your belt… But you will not claim Alina America's! The Showdown Date: Fri W3 June 2020 Danielle Sweetheart was Alina's next challenge to overcome. She did so at The Showdown in an excellent match. However, Emma May was still not far behind. Things came to a head at Crowning the Queen after Alina fought her way to the finals only to be manipulated by Commissioner Bomb to defend her title in the main event against a fresher Emma May. Things didn't go well for Alina... QAW World Championship Alina America © vs. 'The Queen of Hearts' Danielle Sweetheart Alina and Danielle had a tough act to follow, but if any pair could capitalise on the crowd’s excitement it was these two, and they put on the best match in QAW’s history to date. Both women have grown into similar competitors over the years, although many critics would give Danielle the edge in terms of experience, but concede Alina held the star quality. Despite their prickly exchange earlier both competitors wanted to keep things respectful and treated the audience to some slick chain wrestling which resulted in several stalemates and had the crowd locked in duelling ‘Lets go Alina/Danielle’ chants. Early on Danielle managed to take Alina’s back in the pursuit of a choke but Alina managed to power to her feet, with Danielle on clutched on, and flung herself backwards into the turnbuckle, snapmared Danielle forward and took to the top rope. However, it was too early to go high risk and Danielle joined Alina on the ropes before she could react, and landed a hard forearm shiver sending Alina crashing onto the apron and to the outside. Now, it was Danielle’s turn to go high risk and she scored a somersault plancha from the top rope. The referee started the 10 count as Danielle and Alina struggled to their feet and Emma May was out of her chair talking smack to both competitors. The challenger, Danielle, knew all too well she couldn’t win the title via count out and heaved Alina up onto the apron, where Alina repaid her with a stiff headbutt to the chest. As Danielle clutched her chest, Alina hoisted her onto her shoulders and hit an air raid crash. The crowd cringed as the apron was famously the hardest part of the ring and many called for medics to check on Danielle. But she emphatically kicked out at 1 and as Alina pulled her up Danielle caught her with a stiff right hand. After checking her nose for blood Alina gave a receipt and the crowd knew the gloves were off now. Although the match returned to being a technical affair both wrestlers were noticeably seeking painful submissions and weren’t afraid to add spice with some strikes. A notable moment came towards the end of the sequence when Alina went for a kimura on the same arm Emma May had injured previously, but Danielle had it well scouted and caught Alina on the nose with a sharp elbow. In another notable moment Alina scored a near fall on Danielle with a split-legged moonsault in homage to Yuma Maruya. As the match progressed it was evident that Alina had returned to form and Danielle had work cut out for her. The beginning of the end came when Emma declared on commentary that she was bored of the match, grabbed the world title belt and hopped onto the apron prompting the referee to immediately block her entry to the ring. Before Emma could ruin anything, Alina slid through both sets of the leg to the outside and delivered a devastating looking powerbomb to Emma onto the mats. Upon reentry to the ring Alina walked straight into a kick from Danielle who followed up with a ‘Vessey Driver’ [spinning Death Valley Driver] which awed the crowd. Which was in tribute to the Vessey Family, particularly the recently deceased Larry Vessey. “1, 2…--!” Commentary called for a replay to determine if Alina had actually kicked out but it was clear only a fraction of second saved the match. A frustrated and tired Danielle signalled for the end of the match and took to the top rope. As commentary wondered what her intentions were something caught Danielle’s eye from the audience. Inexplicably, Fuyuko Higa had appeared in the front row and was shouting at Danielle, who completely took her eyes off Alina for about 10 seconds. As Alina staggered into the centre of the ring Danielle snapped back to the action and leapt in the air for a missile dropkick which crashed and burned as Alina sidestepped it. Sensing her chance, Alina dragged her challenger up and hit her 'Southern Lights Bomb' followed by a La Magistral pin to clinch the successful defence. Winner: Alina America via pin in 22:10 [56] Road to Starshow Tour Night#2 Date: Sat W2 Jan 2020 Alina made her intentions to regain her title from Emma but she was quickly derailed by Hellcat Hernandez who began targeting her for no reason. The two fought at Capital Clash, with Alina winning, but Hellcat attacked her after the bell; Hellcat went on to have Alina's number for several months... The feed transitions to a pre-recorded promo from Alina America... Alina: Hellcat, you may think you’re done with me but I’m not done with you. You pinned me at Trios and World Summit but I won our last singles match. And when I won you attacked me and I’m not going to just let you walk all over me like that. I’m the face of QAW and I take that seriously! I’ll be damned if the example I set to our young viewers, and the rest of the locker room, is one that says bullies get to do what they want when things don’t go their way. So, yeah, I’m willing to take you on in a street fight! No doubt you think I don't know what I'm doing but we grew up in the same place. You think I didn’t have to fight my way through as well? I’m ready for you Hellcat. Are you ready for me? [55] Starshow 2021 Date: Sat W3 Jan 2021 Fans saw a new side of Alina America during her feud with Hellcat. More aggression and fire, and also the emergence of "The Face of QAW" gimmick. Alina agreed to go out of her comfort zone for a shot at revenge against Hellcat, so the two clashed at Starshow 2021 in a Street Fight... Street Fight Hellcat Hernandez vs. Alina America Both competitors punctuated the match by wearing street gear and taped up fists and at the bell they charged each other swinging for the fences; so much so you’d be forgiven for thinking you’d tuned into an MMA bout. The referee did little to restore order and both women separated after a minute-- with Alina sporting a bloodied nose. Hellcat and Alina then shot out the ring and started throwing various weapons into the ring-- Trash cans, kendo sticks, baking trays, steel chairs and a mysterious black bag. From there the match devolved into various weapon spots: Alina suplexed Hellcat onto a trash can. Hellcat placed a cookie sheet on Alina’s sternum and delivered a double stomp from the middle rope. Both women clobbered each other with everything but the kitchen sink! After taking several chair shots Hellcat miraculously stole the advantage by literally throwing a steel chair into Alina’s face. As Alina clutched her face Hellcat couldn’t resist show boating and started jaw jacking with a young girl in the front row. This distracted her enough to not notice Alina crawling over to a kendo stick and as Hellcat returned her attention she got lit up with snapping shots all over the body much to the crowds delight. Satisfied with her handiwork Alina retrieved the black bag which everyone assumed to be thumb tacks but it was actually a… Garcia: Is that a red brick? JRO: Didn’t Alina ask Hellcat what was “red and bad for your teeth”? She meant a brick! And she’s placed it in the middle of the ring. What is she thinking?! Alina dragged Hellcat to her feet, hit a kick followed by a picture perfect Face Buster smashing Hellcat face first into the brick which crumbled on impact. The crowd counted along with the referee as they knew there was no way Hellcat was getting up from that... Winner: Alina America via pin 11:48 [54] With Suzanne Brazzle winning the World Title how will "The Face of QAW" respond to the Fallen Angels modelling themselves after AAA? Or will she pursue her unfinished business with Emma May?

  4. QAW 2020 POWER RANKINGS -- TOP 10 #3 Pinky Perez & Mariana Torres "Las Amazonas" "Pinky Perez has stolen the show night in and night out over 2020!" 2020 Win-Loss: 9-2 Average / best / worst match: 52 / 60 / 37 Age: Pinky 30, Mariana 32 Experience: Pinky 11 years, Mariana 13 years Nationality: Both are Mexican Style: Pinky is a Luchadora, Mariana is a technician Signature Moves: "Doble Impacte" -- Double team Electric chair/blockbuster "Pink Butterfly Bomb" -- Double underhook powerbomb [Pinky] "Venus Fly Trap" -- Rolling cross arm-breaker [Mariana] Career Highlights: 1 x QAW World Tag Team Champions 5 x CILL Women's World Champion [Pinky] 1 x COTT Women's World Champion [Pinky] 1 x CILL Women's World Champion [Mariana] Notable relationships: The Experience [Feud] Lilly & Rose [Feud] "The Mexican Ace" Pinky Perez is one of the best luchadoras in the world. An all-rounder who fights with admirable fire in her heart, she was signed to be part of CILL's debut women's roster after impressing on independent shows around Mexico. The fans soon got behind her, loving her never-say-die attitude, and it was no surprise that she was soon in possession CILL World Women's Championship. Having become one of CILL's break-out stars, in 2019 Perez also started working for the QAW in Texas. Debuting in March alongside the mysterious Mariana Torres, they immediately started building towards a big clash with the team many think is the best in the business, Anderson & Snyder... Mariana Torres is a Mexican luchadora who is noted for her slick chain wrestling abilities. Little is known about her except she appeared with Pinky Perez in 2019... San Antonio Invasion Date: Fri W3 Feb 2020 Despite Pinky & Mariana not being known for tag wrestling the tandem made a big impression on the tag division when they joined QAW in 2019. Specifically feuding with The Experience; Las Amazonas entered the number 1 contender tournament and ran through TermiNation, The Uprising and Lilly & Rose on their way to a title shot... TermiNation [unstoppable Tai & Toku Kijmuta] v Las Amazonas [Pinky Perez & Mariana Torres] To describe Unstoppable Tai as a ‘beast’ is an understatement and the audience were awe-struck by her. Her tag team partner, Toku, is a well known bruiser in Japan but next to Tai she looked much less imposing. If the luchadora pairing of Pinky Perez and Mariana Torres were nervous they didn’t show it and stood their ground in the ring. Las Amazonas (and the audience) quickly discovered that either opponent could over power them so stuck to a hit and run strategy which really threw the Japanese pairing off their game. A frustrated Tai overshot a double clothesline and the luchadoras pulled down the top rope causing the giant to go crashing out the ring. Backed into a corner Toku came out swinging without a plan and the more experienced Pinky Perez caught her with a dropkick to the mouth and heaved her up into a ‘Pink Butterfly (power) Bomb’ and Mariana added her weight to the pin to ensure Toku stayed down. Winners: Las Amazonas via pinfall in 13:44 [47] During this time, Pinky Perez faced Poison Ivy in the CILL promotion for the newly created COTT Women's World Championship. There were rumours swirling that Poison Ivy was Mariana Torres who had shown up in QAW. This remains unsubstantiated... Meanwhile in Mexico... Sobrehumano Date: Fri W1 Apr 2020 Location: Zapopan [Occidente] Attendance: 473 Dark match: Catalina Vasquez def. Hellcat Hernandez via DQ [54] Commentary: Victor Fernandez & El Maestro Fernandez: We’re now ready for the main event and it is set to make history! Maestro: When this great company agreed to join the prestigious COTT alliance we did so under one condition: they introduce a women’s singles and tag team division with World Championships! Our Luchadoras are the best in the world and deserve the same opportunities as our luchadors to travel to other promotions and assert their dominance! Fernandez: The Tag Titles were decided last month at OLLIE’s Eternal War where Electric Dreamer and Ursula Saez defeated Elsa Calvo and Purple Viper. I know our luchadora’s are already beginning to speak with one another about potential partnerships to bring those belts to CILL in the near future. Maestro: And who knows we might introduce our own belts! Fernandez: You heard it here first! Maestro: And tonight we have the honour of deciding the first ever COTT World Women’s Champion with Pinky Perez versus Poison Ivy! Two former CILL Women’s Champions in their own right. Fernandez: Although perhaps on different levels El Maestro! Pinky is the record breaking 5 time (5 time!) champion and has been dominating the division for the past 8 years. Poison Ivy has just the 1 reign to her name…! Maestro: Lets not forget that Poison Ivy defeated Pinky for the women’s championship and held it for almost a year! Fernandez: Only to lose it back to Pinky and hasn’t tasted gold since. Pinky has to be the favourite going into this match! And I’m sure the CILL Women’s Champion Maribel Mercado will be watching this one with interest! Confederation Of The Territories World Women’s Championship "The Mexican Ace" Pinky Perez v Poison Ivy The two luchadora’s were making history in the main event and had to go on after the CILL World Championship and Women’s Championship matches, which had been excellent. Fortunately for those viewing the pressure formed a diamond of a match which completely out classed the rest of the card! Pinky Perez has been the face of the women’s division for the past 8 years and put on a performance which showed she was perhaps the face of the entire company. Her opponent, Poison Ivy, was a blast from the past and was Pinky’s first proper championship feud; so it was poetic to see them clash again as Pinky looked to establish her footing on an international stage. The match was pure lucha libre displaying rapid sequences of holds and manoeuvres and both women took to the sky. Ultimately, Pinky Perez got to display everything she had and the crowd never took to the prospect of Ivy winning it (despite controlling portions of the match). Pinky put Poison Ivy away with a ‘Pink Butterfly Bomb’ [double underhook powerbomb] and became the first ever COTT World Women’s Champion! Winner: Pinky Perez via pinfall in 16:09 [70] The Showdown Date: Fri W3 June 2020 Las Amazonas and The Experience had clashed several times but never over the World Championships; they faced off for the gold at The Showdown in a superb bout... QAW World Tag Team Championship The Experience © vs. Las Amazonas These teams have collided over the past year and this was the big rubber match with the grandest prize of them all on the line, and both teams were on top form. The match was a great representation of QAW’s unique selling point with The Experience bringing the rough and ready Southern style mixed with strong technical skills, and Las Amazonas brought pure lucha libre excellence. Despite The Experience being the much more experienced [no pun intended] duo and worked like a well oiled machine, the talking point of the match was Las Amazona’s jaw dropping sequences that had the champions on the ropes more often than not, with particular attention being drawn to Pinky who was clearly moving on a different level to everyone else in the ring. Sensing danger The Experience were not opposed to bending the rules to hold onto their gold and scored a distraction from Bossman Brayfield hilariously throwing his shoe from the announce table, which somehow managed to catch Mariana in the face. From there Lily and Ava worked an extended heat segment on Mariana working the leg. The uber charismatic Pinky worked the crowd from the ring apron and rallied Mariana numerous times but each time Mariana went for a tag The Experience intercepted it. On the 3rd attempt, Lily snuck up on Pinky and pulled her from the apron but Pinky landed on her feet, took Lily out with a hard clothesline and made it back on the apron for the hot tag. The sequence that followed would make it onto youtube one day as it was performed with perfect fluidity. Pinky charged Ava down with a clothesline, then a drop kick and finished with a springboard cross body. Instead of going for the cover Pinky rolled towards the turnbuckle, leapt onto the top rope and soared to the outside with a cross body onto Lily, which looked like it flattened her. Pinky hopped back onto the apron and sprung onto the top rope and nailed Ava in the face with a meteora. Before Ava could catch her bearings Mariana [who made the blind tag on the apron] had her by the arm and rolled her through into the ‘Venus Fly-Trap’ [Rolling cross-arm breaker]. Ava had no choice but to tap when it became clear Lily wasn’t around to save the day! "AND NEW QAW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS, LAS AMAZONAS!" Winners: Las Amazonas def. The Experience via submission 18:20 [57] Garcia: What a match!!! New champions, Farrah! New champions-a-go-go! Hesketh: Folks, Las Amazonas have done it! They said they were winning those belts tonight and they did it with style! Brayfield: Do you two mind?! This is a disgrace! A travesty! That tapout was called far too early, did you see? Ava wasn't tapping. Garcia: What was it then? Brayfield: She was fighting it! That wasn't a tap. I'll be lodging a complaint with Commissioner Bomb as soon as I get backstage. Hesketh: Well, as we wait for the outcome of that, we still have new QAW World Tag Team Champions in Pinky Perez and Mariana Torres! Two world class talents who I hope will elevate the division to new heights! Trios Tour Night#2 Date: Mon W3 Oct 2020 Las Amazonas settled into their reign well. But, The Experience continually asserted themselves into matches which didn't go unnoticed by Lilly & Rose. Cracks started to appear between Las Amazonas going into Triosmania when Mariana was barred from competing... w/w/ Kate Lilly w/ Debbie Rose vs. Mariana Torres w/ Pinky Perez There was noticeable dissension between Las Amazonas before the bell as Pinky tried insisting on wrestling but Mariana refused; commentary pondered the strategy as Pinky was the more decorated singles competitor. In contrast, Kate waited confidently in the centre of the ring as Pinky was ushered out. Kate used her speed advantage to run circles around Mariana who was more technician than flyer with some success early on, but unfortunately for Kate, Mariana was well versed in slowing down luchadoras from her years in Mexico. This was demonstrated nicely when Kate sprung onto the 2nd rope looking for a cross body but had her leg chop blocked from behind causing her to land in a heap, tangled in the ropes. Mariana took immediate advantage and wrenched the leg on the ropes and applied pressure to the knee by standing on the leg as the referee, and crowd, protested. As the referee checked on Kate, Pinky caught her partner's attention and seemed to also be voicing her displeasure at the tactic-- Mariana brushed it off and continued working the leg. Garcia: Pinky and Mariana don’t seem on the same page tonight! Hesketh: There is a spot at Triosmania on the line so this match is high stakes! And the higher the stakes the higher reward, Alfonso. Money, exposure, legacy! It’s all to play for! Later in the match Kate fired up and got some offense in which resulted with Mariana on her shoulders, maybe going for an electric chair drop, but Mariana raked the eyes and rolled Kate in her 'Venus Fly-Trap' submission [rolling cross armbreaker] but was unable to lock it in before Kate reached the ropes. Again, Pinky caught her partner's attention in an attempt to coach Mariana and Kate pulled her down into a small package for the win. In a match with decent reaction but sub-par wrestling, Kate Lilly def. Mariana Torres via roll up in 15:22 [44] This match got the show off to a strong start Debbie slides into the ring and raises her partner's hand in victory whilst Mariana clutches her hair in disbelief-- Pinky guiltily placed a hand on Mariana's shoulder only to be shrugged away. Suddenly, Commissioner Bomb's music cut across Kate's, and the Commissioner appeared in the entrance way mic in hand. Bomb: Congratulations Kate and Debbie! You've got your ticket to Triosmania... Well, you've got their ticket [Lilly & Rose laugh and high five] Bomb: You earned it fair and square but I forgot to mention the other stipulation... [Lilly & Rose stop laughing] Bomb: You now have to choose one of the losing members to be your 3rd in the tournament-- Choose wisely! The two teams grimace at each other as the crowd start chanting between Pinky and Mariana. Kate and Debbie confer with each other and after a moment Debbie turns to Pinky and seemingly chooses her. Before she can respond Mariana takes her partner by the arm and pulls her away, leaving Lilly & Rose in the ring [50] Starshow 2021 Date: Sat W3 Jan 2021 The trio of Pinky and Lilly & Rose was ultimately unsuccessful at Triosmania. However, it contributed to a rift between Pinky and Mariana that continued to grow over the months. Many feel this was in part caused by Lilly & Rose but also insecurity on Mariana's behalf as Pinky was receiving stronger praise. Las Amazonas went into Starshow 2021 looking to defend against their two biggest rivals and move on to new challenges... QAW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TRIPLE THREAT W/ Las Amazonas [Mariana Torres & Pinky Perez] © vs. Lilly & Rose [Kate Lilly & Debbie Rose] vs. The Experience [Lily Snyder & Ava Anderson] w/ Bossman Brayfield The much anticipated showdown between the top 3 tag teams in QAW who have clashed throughout 2020. The match was personal with everyone opting to brawl- hard forearms, clotheslines and knife edge chops for all! The fractured relationship between Mariana and Pinky held until a miscommunication saw Pinky dropkick Mariana off the apron. As Pinky pulled at her hair, Debbie Rose tagged in and continued the match with Ava. As Las Amazonas began arguing at ringside; Kate Lilly retrieved one of the title belts and distracted the referee by sliding it into the ring. This triggered Bossman Brayfield who clambered onto the apron ranting and raving which prolonged the confusion. This was the opportunity Debbie needed who revealed brass knuckles from her boot and struck Lily and Ava with them and after the referee restored order she noticed Debbie making the cover... 1, 2.... 3! Winners: AND NEW QAW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! Lilly & Rose via pin 13:53 [53] Will Las Amazonas be able to repair their relationship and recapture the gold?

QAW 2020 POWER RANKINGS -- TOP 10 #4 "Miracle Blonde" Suzanne Brazzle "It's a miracle!" 2020 Win-Loss: 7 - 1 Average / best / worst match: 49 / 56 / 36 Age: 42 Experience: 20 years Nationality: American Style: Entertainer Signature Moves: Miracle Connection -- Michinoku Driver Career Highlights: 1 x QAW World Champion 1 x AAA Femme Fatale 2 x AAA Top Contender 1 x KFW Tag Team Champion Notable relationships: Fallen Angels [alliance] Pamela Rojo [Former tag-now-rival] "Miracle Blonde" Suzanne Brazzle made her pro debut in 2000 and spent the next five and a half years building a good reputation for herself as one of the top independent female competitors around thanks to her crisp technical style and great work ethic. She was signed by the Angel Athletic Association in 2006, finally giving her a much-deserved first taste of fame, and she went on to be one of the big stars of the company's latter years, including a stint with the AAA Femme Fatale title. Brazzle is still active on the independent circuit post-AAA, but age is beginning to catch up with her... Amazons Attack Date: Wed W3 Aug 2020 Brazzle was introduced to QAW as an ally of Pamela Rojo, who was having a crisis of confidence. Both women were in similar phases of their career and seemingly had a pact to push each other... QAW interviewer Dharma Gregg enters the ring with a mic to catch a word from Pamela and Suzanne... Dharma: Pamela, Suzanne, congratulations on that hard fought victory over two very tough competitors. I just had to come to the ring though and ask the question; Suzanne, are you now part of QAW? Brazzle: Dharma, tonight is a special night because a miracle has happened, and Suzanne Brazzle is officially in QAW! I have been plugging away on the indy circuit and keeping tabs on this place and I was drawn to Pamela’s story. I know the hurt of working to the bone and not getting the recognition you deserve. I have watched the women of my generation go onto great things and I’ve watched the next generation follow in their footsteps… Meanwhile I got left behind or surpassed. I think Pamela and I share that story. Am I bitter about it? No! I’m here and I still have time to leave my mark. And I’m here to help Pamela make her mark too. Pamela: And I am by your side, Suzanne. I have made mistakes recently, specifically betraying my friendship with Alina America over the title; but I’m not going to let that define me. I have all the tools to succeed in QAW. I just needed a friend to remind me. [34] Capital Clash Date: Fri W4 Sep 2020 Brazzle and Rojo quickly made their mark and going into Triosmania built some solid momentum taking on Ronin3's leader: Foxxy Larue. In the other corner Foxxy was flanked by her stablemates. This was a ‘first ever’ match up between two well known veterans and despite Foxxy’s recent erratic behaviour she seemed focussed. Foxxy’s strength lay in her kicks and range so Suzanne targeted the legs throughout the match landing sharp leg kicks and submission attempts. As Foxxy shot in for a ‘Flash Headkick’ [Running big boot] Suzanne ducked and tripped Foxxy face first to the mat and applied an ankle lock; Foxxy cried out in pain which triggered her stablemates to spring into action on the outside-- Vinny hopped onto the apron to distract the referee and Becca and Toni went after Suzanne. Unfortunately, things didn’t go to plan as Pamela intercepted both women with a double clothesline and promptly chucked them from the ring as Suzanne broke to take a swipe at Vinny. The referee admonished Pamela to get out of the ring giving Foxxy the opportunity to rake the eyes and lifted Suzanne up for what looked like the ‘Miracle Connection’ [suzanne’s Michinoku driver finisher] but the crafty veteran wriggled over her shoulder and pulled Foxxy back into a high stacked roll up. Winner: Suzanne Brazzle via roll up in 12:03 [56] World Summit Date: Fri W3 Oct 2020 Following their loss in the Triosmania finals weighed on Pamela, but Suzanne showed great friendship and pulled her friend away from the brink. At World Summit Brazzle took the initiative to approach the ever temperamental Commissioner Bomb for an opportunity... We find Suzanne Brazzle speaking to Pamela Rojo outside Commissioner Bomb's office... Brazzle: Pamela my friend, you’ve got to snap out of this mood you’re in! Rojo: I'm frustrated. Not only did we lose the Trios Cup but we lost to Hellcat Hernandez... And the issues Alina has had with her recently? I just feel like it's another example of not quite getting the job done when it matters. Brazzle: Whatever is going on between Hellcat and Alina is between them now. I think you're being hard on yourself! We didn't win? That sucks! We learn from what went wrong and move onto the next challenge. Speaking of, that's why we're here [suzanne gestures to the nameplate on the door]. We are going to march in there and ask for an opportunity. Rojo: An opportunity at what? Brazzle: At proving ourselves to her that we deserve to be moving up the card. The only thing is we're going to look stupid asking for something like this if we don't believe in ourselves... Let me rephrase that, if you don't believe in yourself. I believe in you. Why don't you? Rojo: I... I don't know. Brazzle: Do you trust me? Rojo:… Yes. Brazzle: Then follow my lead... [suzanne knocks on the door]. [49] Night of Champions 2020 Date: Fri W3 Dec 2020 Commissioner Bomb took Brazzle's request to heart and put Brazzle & Rojo in a ladder match against: The Uprising, The Honnari & Paige Croft/Christy Higgings. The winners received a mystery opportunity, which many assumed was a QAW World Tag Team Championship shot. Brazzle & Rojo won the match and discovered what it was post-match... After the match Commissioner Bomb joins the winners in the ring with what appears to be a contract… Bomb: What a match, give it up one more time for your winners! [bomb raises Suzanne & Pamela’s hands] Bomb: That wasn’t called the ‘Opportunity Awaits’ ladder match for nothing. Do you want to know what you’ve won? [suzanne & Pamela nod in agreement] Bomb: I felt that the Three Way Dance event needed to be cut this year. But, as a tribute to it, Starshow 2022 will see all QAW champions defending in triple threat matches! Pamela: So we’re in the tag team match? [bomb laughs wickedly] Bomb: I prefer to keep things interesting Pamela! You will both be challenging Emma May for the QAW World Championship! [suzanne & Pamela look at each other in shock] Bomb: May the best woman… Win! [46] Starshow 2021 Date: Sat W3 Jan 2021 Brazzle & Rojo had a short feud with Emma May going into the World Title Triple Threat and both stated their commitment to maintaining their friendship regardless of the outcome. However, Suzanne Brazzle finally revealed her true intentions in QAW and a collective of former AAA workers aligned with her during the match and helped her win... Garcia: And we have a NEW World Champion in Suzanne Brazzle! What is happening right now?! Joanne what did you mean "the beginning"? JRO: It's the beginning of the Fallen Angels! [JRO takes her mic off and enters the ring] Debbie Rose, Joanne Rodriguez, Suzanne Brazzle, Christy Higgins & Kate Lilly The new champions of QAW raise their titles over a downed Pamela Rojo-- with Joanne Rodriguez applauding them. The screen fades to reveal the logo of QAW's newest stable... "THE FALLEN ANGELS" [39] How long was Suzanne Brazzle planning to betray Pamela? And what is her vision for the Fallen Angels in QAW?

Lilly is a good high flying wrestler and in most people's eyes is the flashier, more charismatic of the two, and therefore the one more likely to succeed in the business. In 2007 the two partners were signed by AAA to continue the tag team work they'd been working hard to perfect on the independent scene. They went on to become one of the best duos in the company's history, winning the tag team straps on four occasions. They have stuck together post-AAA, making them one of the longest-running duos in women's wrestling history, and are one of the most in-demand acts on the independent scene... Debbie Rose is best known for her "Lilly & Rose" tag team pairing with the Canadian wrestler Kate Lilly. A solid cruiserweight rather than a flashy one, Rose seems to have the right balance between good wrestling skills and exciting high flying action. She was trained by one of the best female workers in the US, Belle "Wanda Fish" Bryden, and a lot of her mentor's mannerisms and style can be seen in Rose's work. It was probably Bryden's influence that was behind AAA's decision to hire Lilly & Rose in 2007. The duo went on to win the AAA Tag Team titles four times and firmly establish themselves as one of the premier female tag teams in North America... American Lucha Date: Fri W3 Mar 2020 The legendary tag team burst into QAW in February 2020 in the tag team number 1 contenders tournament. They breezed through the opening round and found themselves against Ronin3's tag team in the semis... w/ Lilly & Rose v Payback Inc. w/Vinny Cruz The semi-finals of the Tag Team Tournament kicked off with a great match that almost represented a AAA v QAW clash with Lilly & Rose representing the past AAA promotion and Payback [or Ronin3] being a symbol of QAW, albeit begrudgingly. Ironically though it was Lilly & Rose who brought the high flying QAW style and kept the match fast hitting numerous arm drags, drop kicks and hurricanranas. This was countered with a grinding offence from Toni and Becca, who preferred a brawl, and were constantly seeking to corner an opponent and keep them there. Vinny Cruz looked to get involved several times and even placed Toni’s foot on the rope to break up what looked like a winning combination from Debbie Rose. Ultimately, the sheer experience of Lilly & Rose overwhelmed Payback who were unable to keep the advantage and Becca Barton fell prey to ‘The Thorn’ and the 3 count. Winners: Lilly & Rose via pinfall in 14:51 [52] Big City Breakdown Date: Fri W3 Apr 2020 For such a big name team Lilly & Rose managed to fly under the radar of the champions, The Experience, who were embroiled in a feud with Las Amazonas at the time. This played a factor in the finals of the tournament and ignited Lilly & Rose... Las Amazonas v Lilly & Rose The finals of the number one contender tournament culminated in a great match between two excellent teams. Lilly & Rose certainly held the edge in terms of experience together but Las Amazonas entered the QAW scene with an irrepressible energy catapulting them to the top of the division. Many expected the high flying teams to battle it out in the air, and for a time they did, treating the viewers to a highly athletic contest with lots of arm drags, drop kicks and fast paced chain wrestling with innovative roll up attempts. When it became clear neither side could gain a clear advantage Debbie Rose and Pinky Perez shook hands and engaged in a more mat based technical exchange. The crowd really appreciated the versatility in the ring and applauded both teams who seemed intent on keeping things civil, until Mariana took exception to almost being caught in a victory roll by Kate and shoved her to the ground. As the intensity and speed started picking up again the Champions appeared at ringside scouting the action and sensing an opportunity with the referee distracted Ava Anderson slid into the ring and accidentally caught Kate Lilly with the title belt instead of Pinky. Pinky seized the day and drop kicked Ava out of the ring, hopped up to the top rope and hit Kate with a Flog Splash and sealed Las Amazona’s victory. Winners: Las Amazonas def. Lilly & Rose via pinfall in 18:07 [50] Amazons Attack Date: Wed W3 Aug 2020 Las Amazonas went on to win the titles; Lilly & Rose did not forget The Experience though, but had to wait for them to return from Japan. They made their move though and challenged them to a match at Amazons Attack... w/ The Experience w/ Bossman Brayfield vs. Lilly & Rose In a change from tradition Brayfield decided to stay at ringside instead of providing guest commentary; despite calling Lilly & Rose a non-threat, it was clear he wanted his clients to win. The match started with feeling out sequences which demonstrated that both sides were evenly matched and commentary reminded viewers that this was a potential passing of the torch as Lilly & Rose were out to show they were still on top against their potential successors. As the match progressed the difference in styles became more pronounced as Lilly & Rose relied on high flying offence and The Experience went after the ground and pound, but they had cross over in the technical space and settled into a technically sound match. Brayfield was a constant presence on the outside encouraging his clients and attempting to bend the rules on their behalf, which surprisingly his clients seemed irritated by. This eventually proved to be their downfall as Brayfield was caught placing Ava’s foot on the rope by the referee which pulled their focus to him. As this happened Ava caught Kate in a small package and got the 3 but the referee wasn’t there to make the count. Debbie Rose took the opportunity to roll the small package into her partner’s favour and drop kicked Lily off the apron. The referee turned at this moment and caught the pin, giving the victory to Lilly & Rose. Winners: Lilly & Rose def. The Experience via roll up in 17:37 [51] Trios Tour Night#1 Date: Sat W2 Oct 2020 With their win over The Experience, Lilly & Rose earned a shot at Las Amazonas. Unfortunately, The Experience made their presence known again and helped the champions retain. Lilly & Rose considered this to be too much of a coincidence and confronted Las Amazonas... Dharma Gregg is standing by in the interview area with Pinky Perez and Mariana Torres... Dharma: QAW faithful, joining me at this time the world tag team champions, Las Amazonas! At Capital Clash you successfully defended the titles against Lilly & Rose with a little assistance from The Experience. After the match you seemed a little reluctant to prevent The Experience from attacking them further-- Pinky: – I’m going to stop you there. We are the tag team champions NOT hired security for other tag teams. We don’t condone what happened to Lilly & Rose-- but we’re not going to throw ourselves into an issue that doesn’t really involve us. Mariana: Pinky is right. When you’re the champions you have big enough targets on your backs without looking for trouble. Anyway, we helped in the end so what's the big deal? Kate Lilly & Debbie Rose appear to the surprise of the champions Kate: You sure did, eventually! Forgive us for eavesdropping but we were interested in what you had to say! Especially as you two keep seeming to benefit from The Experience interfering in our matches! Mariana: Are you implying we're working together?! Kate: Are you? Fool us once, shame on you. Fool us twice… I guess we should have seen it coming! Pinky: Pfft! That is ridiculous and frankly we don't have time to entertain this nonsense because we’re looking ahead to Triosmania! As we’re champions we have an entry, we just need a partner! Debbie: It’s funny you should mention that! We just proposed an idea to Commissioner Bomb which she really liked the sound of. At the next show, one of us will take on one of you, with your entry to Triosmania on the line. Try and get the job done on your own this time, eh? [Kate & Debbie exit] Pinky: Can they do that...? Bomb can't be serious! Mariana: Putas. [33] The segment got the crowd hotter Road to Starshow Tour Night#1 Date: Tue W2 Jan 2020 The three-way feud continued to escalate throughout Triosmania and World Summit. At one point, it seemed as if Lilly & Rose were content to work with Las Amazonas; but others argued they were a factor in causing friction between the champions. As time went on the frustration grew and by the end of the year the veterans were beginning to show a mean streak... We join Kate Lilly & Debbie Rose in the promo area… Lilly: When we arrived in QAW just under a year ago we thought our ascent would be instant. Instead, we got two thorns in our side: The Experience and Las Amazonas… Rose: The Experience, you've screwed us out of title matches. And Las Amazonas, we allowed ourselves to get caught up in your drama... Maybe we got complacent? Lilly: Maybe… But that ends now. We're tired of 'thorns' in our side-- In fact, thorns is a compliment. Roses have thorns! Rose: True. Lilly: The Experience, Las Amazonas... You are weeds... Annoying, unwelcome weeds in our backyard and it's time for us to rip you out root and stem. It's time for Lilly & Rose to flourish in QAW and remind the world who we are. So, at Starshow… Why don’t we settle it? Turning pro in 2011, Snyder quickly established herself as one of the rising stars of women's wrestling with a series of solid performances on the independent circuit. This did not go unnoticed by QAW, who signed her in 2014 and teamed her up with Anderson. Fantastic together, they are known for their slick teamwork and for the fact that they seem to have an almost telepathic ability to know what the other is thinking... Ava Anderson (Ellen Handry) is a versatile performer from Florida who is best known as a tag team wrestler, regularly teaming with Lily Snyder - they're a highly regarded duo who are quickly becoming one of the greatest female tag teams ever. Making her pro debut in 2010, Anderson built a reputation for herself on the independent circuit as a quality competitor with a strong strike-based arsenal of attacks. This led to her getting on the radar of QAW, who signed her in 2014, and the genesis of her team with Snyder... QAW Starshow 2020 Date: Fri W3 Jan 2020 The Experience entered 2020 after a rock finish to 2019 losing their QAW World Tag titles in a major upset against The Rage [thanks to assistance from Emma May]. However, iron sharpens iron and their ongoing feud with newcomers Las Amazonas they were able to quickly work themselves back into contention at Starshow 2020... QAW World Tag Team Championship: The Rage [Honey Badger & Marie Punnen] © vs The Experience [Lily Synder & Ava Anderson] vs The San Diego Girls [izzy Quick & Coco Malloy vs Las Amazonas [Mariana Tores & Pinky Perez] Next was a fatal 4-way for the tag titles. The Rage surprised the world when they captured the titles from The Experience in September, which many put down to The Experience being weakened after their war against Las Amazonas over the summer and accepted the match without thinking. The new champs have proven themselves to be fighting champions having successfully defended the titles twice since against local enhancement talents. This is their first real test against more established teams. The match was really a showcase for The Experience and Las Amazonas who set the standard for tag team wrestling in QAW in 2019 and all four had some excellent technical exchanges with multiple counters demonstrating that they were all very familiar with each other, but The Rage were on hand to disrupt the sequences before they got too good, which aggravated the crowd towards them. The San Diego Girls played their part well and got some flashy spots in against the Experience but were never able to keep momentum going long enough to make a real impact. The final moments of the match saw Izzy Quick Moonsault from the top rope to the outside wiping out Las Amazonas, Honey Badger, and her own partner Coco. This allowed Lily to make a blind tag on Ava as she hit the ropes towards Marie Punnen ducking a spinning heel kick and launched through the ropes into the remaining competitors who just picked themselves up after Quick’s moonsault. Lily hit a bewildered Marie with a Cut-Throat Saito Suplex folding the kick boxer in half and claimed the titles. Winners: AND NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! Lily Snyder & Ava Anderson 'The Experience' via pinfall in 13:31 [37] Brayfield: YEEEEE-HAAWWWW! That's what I'm talking about! Did you see that?! 4-time champions: The Experience! What did I tell you?! Garcia: You told us a wrong would be righted today! Brayfield: Exactly boy. Now let me make another bold prediction, The Experience will have the greatest tag team championship reign QAW has ever seen and I will ask Commissioner Bomb to source me the best the WORLD has to offer in terms of opponents because lets face it the teams here just aren't up to scratch! Now excuse me I have to go celebrate! Hesketh: I don't know about that, QAW has some excellent tag teams but I'm always keen to see new blood here... San Antonio Invasion Date: Fri W3 Feb 2020 The Experience started their first reign hot immediately defending their belts against two of QAWs greatest: Alina America & Danielle Sweetheart... QAW World Tag Team Championship: Alina America & Danielle Sweetheart vs The Experience [Lily Snyder & Ava Anderson]© The two teams didn’t quite see eye to eye ideologically but had no real qualm with one another so the start of the match began with some classic tag team wrestling and each pairing got a chance to face off with one another and show off their technical prowess smoothly transitioning from hold to hold and displaying innovative counters. Whatever tension Danielle and Alina had earlier appeared to have been squashed and were gelling as a team. The Experience lived up to their namesake and their proficiency at tag wrestling began to creep them in front as they were noticeably tagging more frequently and scoring more double teams. At the halfway point Ava reverse irish whipped Alina into one of the free corners with the intention of following up with a corner splash. A split second before Alina hit the corner she used the ropes to hoist her body into the air causing the pursuing Ava to crash into the turnbuckle with nobody home. The normally nimble champion came back down to the mat just behind Ava but on landing her knee appeared to give out. The referee checked on Alina who attempted to brush it off but it was too late and The Experience now had a target as Ava came out the corner with a chop block to the back of the knee and The Experience went to work. The match was now reminiscent of last month’s main event as Alina found herself on defence again but unlike Emma May The Experience opted to work the knee through impact moves, even body slamming Alina legs first into the ropes on numerous occasions. It was clear Alina was being worn down and Danielle did a masterful job working the crowd to urge Alina on for the hot tag. The Experience did their part cutting off the ring and keeping the pressure on Alina but even the best make mistakes and that’s what happened. Ava spent just a little too long playing to the crowd whilst setting Alina up for a suplex giving Alina time to catch her breath and hit a desperation chin breaker leaving both women crumpled next to each other. They began the slow crawl to their respective corners for the tag and Danielle came in hot with drops kick to Lily (now legal) and battered Lily with snap suplexes, backdrops and a flying headscissors to the delight of the crowd. Alina having had a few minutes now to recover, perhaps unwisely, called for the tag which Danielle reluctantly agreed to. This led into the final moments of the match as Ava pulled Danielle off the ring apron and began brawling with her promptly drawing the referees attention. Out of nowhere Emma May slid into the ring and clocked Alina with the World Title in the back of the head with such force it sent her to the outside. Emma ducked out the ring and took cover as Lily Snyder alerted the referee to make the 10 count. “1, 2, 3, 4, 5…!” As Danielle realised what was happening she tried to assist but Ava had a vice like grip around one of her legs and was unable to pull herself away. “6, 7, 8, 9…!” Alina got to her feet with a glassy eyed expression. As the count reached 9 she appeared to be on the cusp of heaving herself back into the ring but instead clutched the back of her head again having a visible dizzy spell and she slumped to the ground. “10! Ring the bell!” Winners: The Experience [Defences: 1] via Count-Out in 17:35 [48] Battlebowl 2020 Date: Fri W3 May 2020 The Experience scored another title defence against Storm Front, had a successful tour with 5SSW and defeated the 5SSW World Tag Champions at Battlebowl. During this time a number 1 contenders tournament was taking place, and The Experience took an interest in the finals, so much so that they interfered in the main event, and accidentally gave Las Amazonas the win... The Experience vs. The Storm Dragons Critics would later describe this match as a revelation as it far surpassed everyone’s expectations. The build up to the match was around The Experience being disappointed in the quality of the newly crowned champions and given the choice wouldn’t bother with them. The Experience are arguably one of the best tag teams in the game right now and they were out to show their Joshi guests what QAW was about. The crowd was fairly familiar with Mushashibo’s run in Canada and was sold on Iijima’s martial arts gimmick, and to their credit The Storm Dragons had their working boots on and hung in there. In Japan their only crime would be being relatively unexciting compared to other teams whereas in QAW, in a relatively shallow tag division, they came across very well. Despite this, the ending was never really in doubt which prevented it from going to another level and Ava Anderson put Kinuye away with a ‘Thunderous Kick’ [Running single-leg drop kick] in just under 15 minutes. Winners: The Experience def. The Storm Dragons via pinfall in 14:34 [51] The match got the crowd hotter. It’s great to see that losing the titles hasn’t completely derailed you both! Brayfield: Ah’ll take this [brayfield takes Debbie’s mic]… Now, thanks for the compliment but y’all need to cut the crap with my clients and get straight to whatever point y’all out here to make. Lilly: We just wanted to introduce ourselves properly as your clients seem to be ducking us backstage! They haven’t shaken hands with us or strung two words together in our direction, hell, not even a complimentary fruit basket! So, seeing as you’re acting brand new, I’m Kate Lilly, this is Debbie Rose, and we’re the greatest tag team in the game. Period. Brayfield: Watch out there miss y’all gonna break ya arm tryin’ to pat ya own back! Lilly: We came to QAW to continue our legacy, in fact, we came here to take the tag team championships from you. So, we fought our way to the finals of the tag team tournament and then you, Ava, stuck your nose in and cost us the match-- Brayfield: – If y’all had the match under control then y’all would have won the damn thing before we ever felt the need to get involved, and Ava wasn't even aimin' for y'all so for the last time, what is your point? Lilly: Our point is we owe you a receipt! We’re the best tag team in the world, don’t you want to see how you measure up? Brayfield: Dang ah must’ve blinked and missed when y’all claimed the mantle of bein’ the best tag team in the world 'cuz y’all were surpassed a long, long time ago darlin'... But, ah’m no fool; y’all may be relics but defeatin' y’all would be an achievement nonetheless so we’ll see y'all at Amazon Attack! [33] Brayfield helped the promo Night of Champions 2020 Date: Fri W3 Dec 2020 The Experience struggled against the increase in competition in the tag division but they still finished the year strong; which many say is down to benefiting from the momentum their leader Hellcat Hernandez had. They won a World Summit match against Lilly & Rose and won the first Trios Cup [also eliminating Lilly & Rose, and Pinky Perez]. This earned them a shot at the belts at the final show of the year... W/ Las Amazonas [Mariana Torres & Pinky Perez] © vs. The Experience [Ava Anderson & Lily Snyder] w/ Bossman Brayfield Both teams put on the best tag team matches in QAW history to date with great callbacks to their previous encounters. The cohesion of The Experience neatly clashed against the miscommunications between Las Amazonas-- despite their efforts to reconcile there was still underlying tension. The crowd groaned in disapproval when Mariana got hit by the 'Rock'n'Roll' double team [super kick into a bridging German]. As Ava made the cover Pinky was already in to break it up. The referee admonished Pinky as she dragged Mariana over to their corner, tagged herself in, and hit Ava with everything she had culminating in a 'Butterfly Bomb' [Double underhook powerbomb]. Commentary discussed the abrupt finish and both agreed Pinky had shone over Mariana. Winners: Las Amazonas via pin in 22:48 [4th defence] [60] Pinky carried the match How will The Experience rebound in 2020 with Lilly & Rose and Las Amazonas staking their claim to the tag division?

In addition to her QAW work, since 2018 she has also been working as part of the CILL women's division and doing very well for herself... American Lucha Date: Fri W3 Mar 2020 The Clenched Fist vs Storm Front feud was heating up in late 2019. Things reached a boiling point when Juana distracted Hellcat during a Shockwave title defence at Three Way Dance which Hellcat pin points for losing the match [and title to Little Miss Perfect]. So, Hellcat was out for revenge and challenged Juana Hurricane's second in command to a strap match... Strap Match: Hellcat Hernandez v Alexis Lee Littlefeather As the referee secured the strap onto Alexis’ wrist she looked apprehensive as though she knew she was walking into a trap. This was contrasted with Hellcat grinning wickedly. The match started with a tug-of-war and Hellcat gained the upper hand, but as she pulled for a final time Alexis released her grip sending Hellcat flying backwards into the turnbuckle. An embarrassed Hellcat got back to her feet and cut Alexis off at her 2nd turnbuckle tap and pulled her into the centre of the ring. Although the objective of the match was to consecutively touch each turnbuckle the match resembled a bar fight; Alexis hit a short arm clothesline which allowed her to hit three turnbuckles before Hellcat recovered and whipped Alexis’ legs from behind with the strap stopping her completely. The crowd rallied behind Alexis as she attempted to pull herself towards the last turnbuckle but Hellcat dragged her out of the ring and the referee reset the count. Hellcat went to work on Alexis around the ringside area and whipped her relentlessly until Alexis’ back was red raw. The crowd cheered Alexis on but were rendered silent when Hellcat hit her trademark running bulldog crashing Alexis down with a dull thud. Hellcat gloated and rolled Alexis back in the ring and made a show of hitting each turnbuckle, but as she sauntered towards the final one she was pulled back by Alexis, who had flung the strap over her shoulder, and was hauled Hellcat away eventually causing her to slip. Alexis took the opportunity to repay the lashes, with interest. But suddenly, Black Diamond appeared and argued with the referee; Felicia Luck also appeared and hit Alexis from behind disrupting the momentum she was building. Hellcat recovered and dismissed Black Diamond who dutifully disappeared allowing the referee to return to the action. In a sadistic move Hellcat hit Alexis with a bone crunching package piledriver in the middle of the ring, wrapped the strap around her neck and then dragged her opponent, clearly struggling to breathe, behind her as she hit each turnbuckle for the victory. Winner: Hellcat Hernandez via stoppage in 14:05 [47] Hellcat scares the referee out of the ring and starts barking orders to Black Diamond and Felicia Luck, as Alexis gasps for air. Black Diamond frees Hellcat from the strap and Felicia climbs the top rope. Hellcat then sets up Alexis for another package piledriver but this time Felicia jumps from the top rope adding her force to the move and Alexis is crunched into the mat with such force that she almost bounces out of Hellcat's grip [35] Fesketh: Folks we have to apologise for what you just witnessed! I think the crowd are on the edge of jumping in the ring themselves! Garcia: So this was Hellcat’s grand plan?! Take out Juana and Sonnaz backstage to break Alexis’ neck? To what end? Hesketh: That piledriver was aimed at Juana Hurricane and Juana alone. Hellcat may be ruthless and she is also smart, she’s just declared all out war on Storm Front and already has them severely weakened. Garcia: There will surely be consequences from this assault, we know that Commissioner Bomb doesn’t appreciate the wrestlers getting too badly damaged… Hesketh: Viewers as you can see Alexis is being stretchered from the ringside area. We wish her all the best and we’ll keep you updated on her condition. The Showdown Date: Fri W3 June 2020 There was no doubt Hellcat's actions angered Juana; to the point where Juana eliminated herself from the Battlebowl to pursue Hellcat. This set up their showdown at... The Showdown! First Blood Match: Juana Hurricane [storm Front] vs. Hellcat Hernandez [Clenched Fist] Hellcat made her entrance wearing a face shield, which served as good strategy and way to antagonise Juana, which it did, and Juana clashed with Hellcat in the aisle way. The referee threw caution to the wind and started the match knowing it wasn’t going to be rule adhering anyway. Both women showed good intensity and Hellcat spent much of her time trying to create separation from Juana who was like a woman possessed scratching and clawing at her, eventually ripping the face shield away and using it as a weapon to batter Hellcat. After several minutes brawling around ringside it was clear Juana had the advantage, which of course triggered Clenched Fist members Black Diamond and Felicia Luck to come out and help their leader. The 3 on 1 mauling only lasted a few moments as Storm Front members Sonnaz Shah and, the returning Alexis Lee Littlefeather [neck brace and all], charged out to even the odds. During the commotion Hellcat and Juana returned to the ring with Hellcat holding the advantage raining down sharp elbow strikes to Juana’s forehead. When she was satisfied enough damage had been done, Hellcat foolishly took to taunting the crowd and made a display of placing on brass knuckles. As she returned to the match Juana was back on her feet and easily ducked a wild swing and retaliated with an uncharacteristic headbutt. From there, Juana smashed Hellcat's forehead into each turnbuckle, reminiscent of a strap match, and on the last one mounted the 2nd turnbuckle and counted 10 punches along with the crowd. Juana played to the crowd a fraction to long and Hellcat regained control by catching Juana in a power bomb position and performed a buckle bomb, followed by a running bulldog out of the corner. The crowd was concerned for Juana as she lay face down as Hellcat wrenched her neck back and delivered rough looking cross-faces. Fortunately for Juana, Hellcat became concerned with finding the brass knuckles and stopped her attack to pick them up. As Juana stirred to her knees, Hellcat grabbed Juana by the hair but got caught with a slick judo throw. Before Hellcat could react she was locked in a figure 4 around the neck. After a few moments struggling Juana wrested the brass knuckles away and used them herself to land a couple of strikes to Hellcat, which effectively knocked her out. Juana released the hold as the referee checked on Hellcat and after a moment the cameras caught a trickle of blood coming down Hellcat's forehead. Winner: Juana Hurricane via first blood in 13:48 [35] Juana's hand is raised in victory; and it's noticed by commentary that she has a bloodied nose, which prompts them to wonder if that had been caused by the bulldog but Juana was able to disguise it. The remaining members of Storm Front celebrate with their leader. Sonnaz has a microphone in hand as Juana picks Hellcat up and holds her before Alexis, who gives a thumbs down signal, and suddenly Juana has Hellcat back on the mat again and is applying a modified 'Tequila Sunrise' [Hammerlock with the leg and cloverleaf hold]. “Say you're sorry to Alexis…” says Sonnaz, holding the mic towards Hellcat. “**** you!” Screams a bloodied Hellcat, which prompts Juana to wrench harder. “We can wait all day” Sonnaz replies calmly, as Juana wrenches again and again. “I-I-...I’m sorry—stop! Sorry!” Hellcat cries out. With a nod from Alexis, Juana releases the hold and the Storm Front members raise their arms in victory. A clear message to the entire locker room that they are not to be messed with going forward. [20] Capital Clash Date: Fri W4 Sep 2020 Hellcat lost the feud to Juana, but during this time she was also touring with 5SSW with great success; which spawned the genesis of The Clenched Fist rising in that promotion. Perhaps spurred by this, Hellcat set her sights on the main event and targeted "The Face of QAW" Alina America... Alina America vs. Hellcat Hernandez [Clenched Fist] At the sound of the bell Alina flew across the ring and peppered Hellcat with strikes giving her a receipt [and then some] for the sneak attack last month. No stranger to a fight Hellcat covered up, took Alina down to the mat and started laying in hard shots of her own. Realising she was in Hellcat’s wheelhouse Alina started grappling but to her surprise [and everyone watching] Hellcat kept up going hold for hold. The crowd started to come alive for the match as Hellcat busted out some flashy high flying moves as well, demonstrating she was evenly matched and commentary noted this was a coming out party for Hellcat. Towards the end of the match Hellcat headbutted Alina square in the nose, ran the ropes and nailed Alina with her signature running bulldog for a 2.5 count which had the crowd on their feet. Hellcat looked at the ref in disbelief and dragged Alina up onto the turnbuckle with evil intent looking for a superplex, but Alina scored a jab to the side that caused Hellcat's foot to slip and she fell to the mat awkwardly. Sensing her chance Alina repositioned herself and landed a split legged moonsault for the 1, 2… 3! Winner: Alina America via pin in 14:19 [52] The match got the crowd hotter and the show off to a strong start Alina's hand is raised in victory and she gestures to the camera she's coming for the title. The crowd are hot for the former champion but the cheers turn to boos as Hellcat attacks Alina from behind and drags her around the ring by the hair laying in forearms and boots. The attack is fast and furious ending with Hellcat nailing the package piledriver in the centre of the ring leaving Alina out cold. [48] Garcia: It looks like Hellcat didn't learn her lesson from Juana Hurricane afterall! Hesketh: Old habits die hard Alfonso! The world Hellcat comes from doesn't have room for much else; if only she could channel that energy into her in-ring game and we'd have a world title contender on our hands. She proved tonight she has the potential! Night of Champions 2020 Date: Fri W3 Dec 2020 To the surprise of many Hellcat held the upper hand over Alina for months; pinning Alina in the finals of the Trios Cup and in a World Summit. This allowed her to finish the year strong with a QAW World Championship match against Emma May... QAW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 'World Class' Emma May © vs. Hellcat Hernandez The referee called for the bell as Emma May charged the ring and took the fight to Hellcat who was more than ready to brawl. Commentary noted this was something Hellcat was likely trying to encourage as Emma was outperformed by Hellcat during the first half of the match. As things progressed Emma changed tactics by creating distance and grappling with Hellcat, which almost paid off with a submission several times. During the closing minutes Emma overshot a back suplex and dumped Hellcat on the back of her head-- the referee checked on Hellcat who needed a moment before continuing and the audio picked up angry swearing from Hellcat. Blood was in the water now and when the referee signaled to continue Emma shot in for the takedown and soon had Hellcat in a rear naked choke. The referee pleaded with Hellcat to submit but instead Hellcat flipped Emma off before passing out. Winner: Emma May via stoppage in 15:10 [4th defence] [48] Starshow 2021 Date: Sat W3 Jan 2021 Despite being banged up from the match, Hellcat proved she was ready for the main event. She couldn't outrun Alina forever and the two finished their feud in a street fight... We cut to a pre-taped promo from Hellcat Hernandez... Hellcat: It's laughable that the "face" of QAW, Alina America, thinks she’s guiding young fans at home to stand up to “bullies”… Am I bullying you, Alina? Too bad! And to those young fans: a warning! After I’m done beating Alina, like the dog she is, you’re going to feel upset... You’ll probably be weak and want to go crying to your mamas... And I promise you she is going to be disappointed having such weak, pathetic excuses for kids! So, let me give you some advice: you have a choice to be the prey or become the predator. Alina America is prey and I’m the predator! Pick wisely. [42] Who will Hellcat target next as she claws her way to the top? 18. QAW 2020 POWER RANKINGS -- TOP 10 #8 "The Queen of Hearts" Danielle Sweetheart "Danielle doesn't need gold because she has people's hearts!" 2020 Win-Loss: 7-5 Average / best / worst match: 52 / 59 / 44 Age: 33 Experience: 12 years Nationality: American Style: Wrestler Signature Moves: Super Kick Missile Dropkick Sweet Valley Driver -- Spinning Death Valley Driver Career Highlights: 3 x QAW World Champion Longest reigning QAW World Champion -- 11 months Most successful QAW World Championship defences -- 9 4 x QAW Queen of the Ring Most QAW Queen of the Ring reigns 1 x QAW Battlebowl 1 x 5SSW World Tag Team Champion Notable relationships: Ashley Keith [feud] Fuyuko Higa [feud] Storm Front [alliance] Danielle Sweetheart is from Florida and has been wrestling professionally since 2008. Breaking in via the independent scene in her home state, eventually tapes of her wrestling came to the attention of Farrah Hesketh, who was impressed enough to bring her into the QAW. Sweetheart has gone on to become one of the top stars of the company, and is not only a former QAW World champion but she has also dominated the QAW's annual Queen Of The Ring tournament, winning it three straight years between 2013 and 2015; as a result, she has gained the nickname "The Queen Of Hearts". QAW Starshow 2020 Date: Fri W3 Jan 2020 Danielle spent the 2nd half of 2019 on the shelf after suffering an injury thanks to a nasty kimura by Emma May; so when she returned at Starshow she had her sights set on halting Emma's momentum... Danielle Sweetheart comes out to thunderous applause and a chorus of “WELCOME BACK!” from the crowd. She soaks it in and enters the ring with a microphone in hand (which is still noticeably taped up under her street clothes)... Danielle: QAW is my home! To be forced away from it, from you the fans, from the sport that I love; it was some of the most difficult months of my career... People say "wrestling isn’t ballet" and injuries are going to happen but only the lowest of the low set out to purposely injure their opponent. The likes of Jillian Jarvis, Foxxy Larue… and Emma May. Emma, you really did your best to take me out for good 4 months ago but unlike Jarvis and Larue you’re still an amateur because you made a mistake: you didn’t keep me down! [With this statement Danielle drops the mic and tears the tape off her hand and forearm to the crowd’s delight] Danielle: Emma you’re lucky I’m not medically cleared to compete tonight because I owe you one, and Commissioner Bomb isn’t keen for us to get back in the ring just yet. But I didn’t want to sit out Starshow so I asked Bomb to put me to work. So you’re looking at the guest referee for tonight’s World Title match! Garcia: Looks like your prediction was right Farrah! You have to wonder whether Danielle can call this one down the middle though? Hesketh: I believe she can! Danielle Sweetheart's greatest strength is that she is a true professional and places high expectations on everyone in QAW to represent the company with honour. Sadly it is also her greatest flaw because not everyone in the locker rooms wants to play by that code. Garcia: Agreed. I’m glad I’m not anywhere near Emma May right now…! [31] Big City Breakdown Date: Fri W3 Apr 2020 Dani clashed with Emma a handful of times leading up to a number one contenders match for the World Championship... In another pre-recorded promo Danielle stands alone in the QAW interview area... Danielle: Emma, you once said to me that violence is what puts food on your table and helps you sleep at night. You were saying that your violent approach to competition, to our great sport, somehow makes you better than everyone else… I’m a 3 time World Champion, 3 times more than you. I’ve been Queen of the Ring 4 times...4 times more than you. I have defeated you one on one, you have never defeated me… I approach this sport with dignity, with love for the fans and respect for my fellow competitors. It has put food on my table and helped me sleep at night for 13 years. Compare your approach to mine, and look at the outcomes… Maybe you need to go back to the drawing board? [47] Battlebowl 2020 Date: Fri W3 May 2020 Dani put in a valiant effort but was ultimately defeated by Emma in the number 1 contender match. However, she rebounded and entered herself into the 2020 Battlebowl... In a promo Danielle stands alone in the QAW interview area... Danielle: At Big City Breakdown I tapped out to Emma May because she was the better fighter that night. Trust me I don’t find that easy to admit and I wish it never happened! But I refuse to shame myself for it... There is no shame in defeat, only in not fighting. I fought my hardest…! It just wasn’t good enough. But I want the people at home to remember that it's okay to make mistakes. It’s okay to fall down. But you have to get up, adapt and get yourself back out there! And that is what I'm doing! Tonight I have the opportunity to bounce back from defeat and win the Battlebowl. I am going to outlast 19 of the best wrestlers in the world today and I am going to remind each and every one of them what Danielle Sweetheart is made of! [46] Crowning the Queen XI Date: Fri W3 July 2020 Dani won the Battlebowl and earned herself a shot at Alina America; things were going well until Fuyuko Higa distracted Dani on the top rope and cost her the match. The Crowning the Queen tournament, Dani's speciality, would be her next opportunity to get back into the title picture; in the opening round she was victorious over the debuting Ashley Keith who attacked her after the match... Danielle Sweetheart is sat on a physio bed as a doctor examines one of her shoulders, Commissioner Bomb is observing... Bomb: Listen Danielle, sometimes you just have to listen to the doctor. You’ve won this tournament 4 times already! You don’t need to prove anything to anyone. Danielle: Look me in the eye and say that Bomb! Bomb: Listen to the doctor, please? Danielle: I know I don’t have to prove anything to anyone else, but I have something to prove to myself. I’m not giving up! Bomb: It isn’t giving up Danielle! You took heavy damage to your lower back and shoulders from that Proton Lock, never mind the fact you blacked out! It’s no good competing if you just end up breaking your body in the process; no one is going to thank you for that! Plus, you’ve got Emma next, need I remind you of your last encounters with her? Danielle: If I am going to be eliminated from this tournament then it is happening in that ring, and not in here. I’m going now. [Danielle storms out of the trainers room as Commissioner Bomb shrugs to the doctor. Suddenly loud crashing and screams can be heard from a short distance away. Bomb rolls her eyes and tells the camera to follow her as she seeks the disturbance out a short distance down a corridor; the camera catches Ashley Keith attacking Danielle again, and has the Proton Lock applied. Danielle screams at the top of her lungs as Ashley wrenches harder and harder] Ashley: YOU! RUI--NED-MY DE-BUT! Bomb: Stop this! Stop this at once! Ashley: NO! Bomb: I’m going to give you 3 seconds or you’ll regret it. [Ashley wrenches back again and it appears as if Danielle has passed out from the pain. True to her word Bomb counts to 3 and picks up a nearby trash can lid and smashes Ashley around the head forcing her to break the hold. Backstage staff appear to take Ashley away and Bomb helps the doctor take Danielle back to the trainers room] Bomb: Get the tag match on whilst we sort out this mess! [49] Starshow 2021 Date: Sat W3 Jan 2021 Unfortunately Dani had to pull out of the tournament and she feuded with Ashley and Fuyuko for the rest of the year. In a bizarre turn of events started tagging with Ashley against Fuyuko and at Starshow 2021 she and Ashley captured the 5SSW World Tag Team Championships. But, after the match she got a measure of revenge against Ashley with a super kick... Post match, Danielle & Ashley are presented with the 5SSW World Tag Team Championships... Both women have tears in their eyes as they are presented with their belts. Danielle is seen encouraging an emotional Ashley to climb the turnbuckle and have her moment-- which she does. Danielle takes the opposite turnbuckle and eventually signals to Ashley to swap. However, as Ashley approaches Danielle pops her in the mouth with a sick superkick which shocks the crowd into silence before they erupt into cheers again. Danielle holds both tag team championships before draping one across the fallen body of her partner. [53] JRO: Would you call that a grotesque display as well? Garcia: Very out of character for Danielle but understandable! Ashley has been pushing Danielle's buttons for months. JRO: I like the message but not the wisest move on Danielle's behalf. It takes a lot to win any championship, let alone in 5SSW. Trust me I speak from experience. But she needs Ashley now! Why piss her off? Will Danielle and Ashley be able to co-exist as champions? 19. QAW 2020 POWER RANKINGS -- TOP 10 #9 Little Miss Perfect "She's still developing as a worker, but appears to be a future star in the making!" 2020 Win-Loss: 9-3 Average / best / worst match: 40 / 50 / 39 Age: 26 Experience: 6 years Nationality: American Style: Entertainer Signature Moves: "Newtons Cradle" -- Snap swinging neck-breaker into a bridged pin Career Highlights: 1 x QAW Shockwave Champion Longest reigning Shockwave Champion - 13 months 1 x AAA Top Contender Champion 1 x AAA World Tag Team Champion 2014 graduate of the AAA Cat's Lair Notable relationships: Christy Higgins [tag partner] Darkness Cat [feud] Modesty Pador [feud] Little Miss Perfect (AKA Sarah Taylor) is a young wrestler who debuted for QAW in early 2018 having made a name for herself in AAA previously. Playing the part of an uber-annoying busybody, she quickly became one of the most hated heels and a fixture of the midcard... 2020 Year in Review: QAW Starshow 2020 Date: Fri W3 Jan 2020 Little Miss Perfect ended 2019 on a high winning her first Shockwave Championship-- and in controversial fashion too after she sneaked into the heated rivalry between Hellcat Hernandez and Pamela Rojo... QAW Shockwave Championship: Little Miss Perfect © vs Modesty Pador Many have said Little Miss Perfect (LMP) "stole" the Shockwave title last month when she swooped in on a downed Pamela Rojo which Hellcat Hernandez had worked for but was momentarily distracted by Juana Hurricane. If you ask LMP? She’ll tell you it was a perfectly executed win. Tonight she was out to prove just that again and successfully defend her newly won title against fellow QAW rookie Modesty Pador, who has strung together a handful of impressive wins recently. Despite being billed as a rookie LMP is in-fact a 5 year veteran and former title holder in AAA, but her reinvention as QAW’s resident busybody has seen that played down as she works a more entertainer style playing to the crowd and often cheating her way to a win. It certainly worked and the crowd absolutely loathed LMP and were firmly placed behind Modesty. The two appeared evenly matched and Modesty showed some proficient strikes but ultimately it wasn’t enough and LMP poked Modesty in the eye when the referee wasn’t looking and struck with the Newtons Cradle (A snap swinging neck-breaker into a bridge pin). Winner: Little Miss Perfect via pinfall in 11:39 [31] Garcia: She may be annoying but Little Miss Perfect gets results! Hesketh: She does but I think she is above these shady tactics in the ring. She is going to push her luck with the wrong opponent one day. Garcia: I thought that day may have come when she stole Hellcat’s title last month but it appears Hellcat is happy to focus on taking the fight to Juana Hurricane for now. Battlebowl 2020 Date: Fri W3 May 2020 LMP hit a road block early in her reign when QAW went up against 5SSW at the Battlebowl; and she was scheduled to take on Megumi Nakajima. Perfect was soundly beaten and her credibility took a massive hit with the QAW crowd. During this period she did tour with 5SSW where she re-united with former AAA tag partner: Christy Higgins... Megumi Nakajima vs. Little Miss Perfect Business picked up in this match and Little Miss Perfect came out looking ready to compete. Granted she still came out doing an Instagram live but was uncharacteristically more serious in tone and asking her followers to cheer her on. Unfortunately none of these followers were actually in the building and the QAW crowd booed her mercilessly as many felt she was overdue a beatdown in the ring. The match up was a technical affair with lots of character work from Miss Perfect trying to keep up with Nakajima and earn her respect. It was evident that Miss Perfect’s short stint in Japan had already benefited her, with some critics saying she had matches beyond what she was delivering in QAW. At the point where Nakajima eventually offered her hand in respect, Miss Perfect almost showed humility by accepting, but something stopped her and instead she kicked the hand away. This sparked a lively ‘Megumi’s gonna kill ya!’ chant from the crowd and Nakajima went to work showing off her striking and aerial offence. The match ended abruptly when Nakajima feinted irish whipping Miss Perfect but instead pulled her back in and locked her arms behind her setting her up for the Nakajima Straight Jacket Suplex, and the win. Winner: Megumi Nakajima pin in 10:01 [44] This got the crowd hotter. Capital Clash Date: Fri W4 Sep 2020 Perfect was able to bring Christy back from 5SSW into QAW and they started tagging together as "The Besties", and with Christy by her side Perfect enjoyed a solid few months as champion and regained some credibility but taking on new criticism that Higgins was carrying her... w/ The Besties [Little Miss Perfect & Christy Higgins] vs. Sonnaz Shah & Alexis Lee Littlefeather w/ Juana Hurricane [storm Front] A strong outing for the newly minted 'Besties' who displayed cohesion mixed with narcissism as both women spoke to fans on insta live throughout, swapping the phone with each tag. The player/coach duo of Shah and Littlefeather did their best but were unable to build any momentum and Sonnaz's knee buckled after an atomic drop from Miss Perfect and the referee halted the match. Christy urged Miss Perfect to press the attack so Perfect stamped on the knee repeatedly until Littlefeather and Hurricane stormed the scene. Having learnt her lesson from Ash Grover earlier in the night the referee deemed Shah unfit to continue. The Besties laughed hysterically at Shah's misfortune as they backed up the ramp as Juana and Alexis looked on. Winners: Little Miss Perfect & Christy Higgins via stoppage in 07:43 [46] QAW Bombshells airing on QAW.com Date: Wed W3 Jan 2021 After going out in the first round of the Trios tournament and being the only person eliminated from her own team in the inaugural World Summit match; criticism on Perfect's legitimacy as champion began to mount. And the pressure from persistent mid-card threat: Darkness Cat, was building. So, Christy Higgins persuaded her best friend the only way to keep her title was to have her closer to home in an upcoming triple threat... Commissioner Bomb is sat behind her desk... Bomb: Welcome to my office QAW faithful! I’m sure you’re here to learn more about Starshow 2021 and what we have in store. First, I’m pleased to announce the 5SSW World Tag Team Champions: The Honnari, have accepted a rematch against Ashley Keith and Danielle Sweetheart. The feud between Ashley and Danielle has only been getting worse, can they put aside their differences to win the gold? I hope not…! Commissioner Bomb is interrupted by the Shockwave Champion: Little Miss Perfect Perfect: Stop. Everything! Bomb: I’m a little busy here… [bomb gestures towards the camera]. Perfect: I know you’re announcing the triple threats for Starshow. You’re forcing me to defend against Darkness Cat [again], so I insist on choosing my 2nd opponent… Bomb: You don’t like my booking? Perfect: I-i didn’t say that… I just want to say – Bomb: – I know what you want to say [bomb towers over Perfect]. You don’t like me selecting Darkness again because she’s catching up and that frightens you. So, you want Christy in the match, essentially making it a handicap match. Perfect: Christy is a legitimate contender… Bomb: No denying that. And I guess Christy put you up to this? Perfect: It would be an honour to face my best friend. [bomb smirks] Bomb: … Fine. It sounds messy so you can have your way this time. But if you ever interrupt me again you will regret it, understood? [Perfect nods and scurries out the office] [31] The angle got the crowd hotter Starshow 2021 Date: Sat W3 Jan 2021 Unfortunately for Little Miss Perfect, Christy Higgins did not have her best friends back after all-- and Perfect was caught in a flash pinfall and lost her Shockwave championship... Meanwhile backstage, Dharma Gregg is standing by with Little Miss Perfect... Dharma: Little Miss Perfect, tonight you defend your Shockwave Championship against an old foe: Darkness Cat, and your best friend: Christy Higgins. How do you feel about this match? Perfect: I'm enjoying a record breaking reign and I don't see that changing. Does that, like, answer your question? Dharma: Well, isn't it awkward having your friend challenge you? Perfect: Like, Darkness is a desperate woman. She has obviously, like, manipulated the situation to be awarded another title shot so Christy is going to have my back and ensure, like, the title isn't besmirched. Once we've removed Darkness from the equation we'll be able to have a fair one-on-one match. Dharma: But doesn't Darkness have this opportunity because Christy keeps helping you? Perfect: Fun fact Dharma but Christy and I are former AAA tag champions! We help each other and that’s just how it is! I know you probably don't have any friends, so you can't relate, but it's a reflex you don't lose! Now if you'll excuse me, I have a record breaking reign to extend... [27] How will Little Miss Perfect react to Christy's betrayal? And is there a place for her in the Fallen Angels? 21. QAW 2020 POWER RANKINGS -- TOP 10 #10 "Red Alert" Pamela Rojo "Pamela Rojo is always a credible threat to any singles title!" 2020 Win-Loss: 10-5 Average / best / worst match: 44 / 56 / 31 Age: 36 Experience: 16 years Nationality: Mexican Style: Technician Striker Signature Moves: "Rojo Alert" -- Running Powerbomb "Big Red" -- Powerslam Career Highlights: Inaugural 2010 QAW Queen of the Ring 2 x QAW World Tag Team Champion 1 x QAW Shockwave Champion Notable relationships: Hellcat Hernandez [former tag partner-now-rival] Suzanne Brazzle [former tag partner-now-rival] Crackdown [Juana Hurricane & Toni Parisi [Feud]] Miss Mexico [former rival-now-mentor] Alina America [strained relationship] Pamela Rojo is a powerful luchadora who is known for her shockingly bright red hair. Able to outmuscle most opponents, Rojo likes to batter them with tackles, slams, and suplexes before putting them away with her trademark Running Powerbomb finisher. She has been with the QAW since their debut in 2010 and was the very first QAW Queen Of The Ring, a tournament title she won on the very first show when she pinned Purple Viper. Since then, Rojo has gone on to have a lot of tag team success (winning the tag titles twice alongside Hellcat Hernandez before they split up)... 2020 Year in Review: QAW Starshow 2020 Date: Fri W3 Jan 2020 Pamela entered 2020 with a chip on her shoulder after taking the pin at The Three Way Dance to Little Miss Perfect. Not only did she lose but also failed to recapture the Shockwave title which confirmed Hellcat Hernandez winning their feud... Pamela Rojo vs Millie The Minx This match was Rojo’s to win from the moment it was announced and the audience knew it from the “Rojo’s gonna kill you!” chant before the bell rung. The opening minutes saw Rojo assert her power game over Millie with several displays of strength tossing her around the ring with ease. After the 3rd hair beal Millie cried for a time out and begged Pamela for mercy much to the crowd’s amusement and only making the “Rojo’s gonna kill you!” chant louder. Pamela took mercy and helped Millie to her feet who repaid the gesture with a kick to the mid-section. Big mistake. Pamela no-sold the kick and stared at the spot where the kick connected eventually bringing her gaze back up to Millie who was already backing away apologizing. Pamela grabbed Millie by the hair as she turned to escape the ring and hoisted her up and turned her inside out with a Running Powerbomb (‘The Rojo Alert’). Winner: Pamela Rojo via pinfall 08:03 [33] Garcia: It’s nice to see Pamela back to doing what she does best and the QAW fans agree with me! The loss at Three Way Dance to Little Miss Perfect is clearly a thing of the past. Hesketh: I spoke with Pamela earlier today and she said it is time she stepped out of Hellcat Hernandez’s shadow, who has been a thorn in her side ever since the demise of their tag team years ago, and forged a new path! I couldn’t agree more as I think Pamela is world championship material! Big City Breakdown Date: Fri W3 Apr 2020 Going into American Lucha Pamela inserted herself into the World Title picture. She joined Team Alina against The Furies in the traditional trios main event; and Commissioner Bomb decreed that every pin fall would earn the winner a title shot. Pamela fought hard for her team and scored the final pin fall ending the match at 2-1. However, she shocked everyone when she turned on Alina post-match to secure the first shot at her; it worked and at Big City Breakdown she got her opportunity. Prior to the match she explained her actions... The feed cuts to Dharma Gregg standing by with a microphone next to Pamela Rojo, behind the duo is the QAW logo. Dharma: Please welcome my guest at this time: Pamela Rojo! Pamela, at the end of American Lucha you shocked everyone when, after your trios victory alongside Alina America, you inexplicably hit her with a devastating powerslam! Tell us what made you do that? Pamela: Listen, I have nothing against Alina America. In fact, I like Alina America! What I did was business and I think she knows that. Dharma: Business? Pamela: I have been with this company for 10 years and I have never held the World Championship. When I debuted I won the first ever Queen of the Ring tournament and earned myself a spot in the first ever QAW World Championship match. And what did I do? I choked. Miss Mexico pinned me and became the first ever QAW World Champion. Did I learn from my mistake and win it on my next attempt? No, I choked. Sure I had success in the tag division but that was five years ago. I feel like I’ve been choking my entire career and I can’t breathe anymore. I can’t keep standing aside whilst other people pass me by. After the match finished last month I knew I had to free myself and seize the opportunity. Dharma: By assaulting an unsuspecting Alina America? Pamela: I have my shot don’t I? Dharma: Yes, I suppose you’re right. Pamela: I’m not proud of it but its business, and when I take the championship tonight, I’ll breathe easy at last. [33] The promo got the crowd hotter The Showdown Date: Fri W3 June 2020 After losing to Alina, Pamela completed a successful 5SSW tour and had an okay showing in the Battlebowl. There were rumours that she had lost standing in the locker room after turning on Alina. It should be noted that Pamela had her first match with Suzanee Brazzle on the independent scene the week before The Showdown... 'Red Alert' Pamela Rojo vs. 'The Mistress of the DDT' Steph Blake This match was as close to a hoss fight as QAW could get as Steph and Pamela were probably the biggest and most muscular competitors on the roster. For years many fans had drew similarities between Steph and Pamela, with a consensus that Pamela was the next evolution, as Steph had remained a good brawler whereas Pamela had added technical wrestling and striking to her arsenal. Both women absolutely clobbered each other with lariats, suplexes and slams, and commentary noted Pamela appearing more desperate in her attempts to get a pin and how it might lead to her making mistakes down the line. Whilst not setting the world on fire with her offence, Steph was weathering the storm and picked her moments well, showing veteran instincts, and as predicted Pamela got frustrated with the referees count and spent too long admonishing them, leaving her open to Steph clocking her in the back of the head with a polish hammer. Steph picked her up and landed a snap kickout DDT for the 3 count. Winner: Steph Blake via pin 09:49 [38] After the match, Steph continues beating Pamela down with sharp kicks to the stomach and head stomps. The crowd boos Steph and gets behind Rojo but it seems as if Pamela has burnt all her bridges backstage as no one comes to her rescue, leaving her to the mercy of Steph, who shows her none, and DDTs her again for good measure. [36] Trios Tour Night#1 Date: Sat W2 Oct 2020 Pamela was contacted by Suzanne Brazzle and she helped Pamela overcome Steph Blake. Brazzle became an excellent influence on Pamela and the pair had a near perfect record tagging together, even reaching the finals of the Trios Cup alongside Alina America... The feed cuts to Suzanne Brazzle in the interview area seemingly waiting for someone. After a few seconds Alina America enters the area looking confused... Alina: Hey, I got your message? Suzanne: Alina, you’re here! Excellent! Alina: You said it was urgent? Suzanne: Alina, we’ve only known each other for a short amount of time but you have been so welcoming and I really appreciate it. And… Well… You seem like a good person! Someone who believes in forgiveness [Alina raises an eyebrow]… And as you know I’m friends with Pamela and I know you two had that falling out. Alina: You mean when she jumped me over a title shot? I like you Suzanne but I’ve honestly got no interest in whatever you’re trying here-- Pamela walks into the shot distracted by her phone... Pamela: Hey Suzanne I got your messa-- Oh [Pamela immediately turns away]. Suzanne: Don’t go! Both of you are going to listen to me. You two were friends-- actually from what Pamela told me you were good friends! What she did was wrong but Alina you know what that feeling is like when you get close to claiming a world championship. Sometimes the rulebook goes out the window. It’s not an excuse-- Alina: I have enough on my plate with Hellcat Hernandez and regaining my title from Emma May. I don’t have time for this, especially if Pamela can’t speak for herself. Pamela: Okay, Okay! Alina, I'm sorry. And I was being stubborn by not saying it sooner. Suzanne has been helping me see how what I did was wrong... Alina: … Well, I appreciate you saying that… Suzanne: And on that note, I have news; we’ve been entered into the Triosmania tournament by Commissioner Bomb! So if we can keep up this Kumbaya energy up that would be great! Alina: Are you joking? I don't think that's a good idea-- Suzanne: --I don’t think Bomb was giving us a choice in the matter…! [Alina and Pamela share an awkward half smile as Suzanne claps them both on the shoulder]. Think of the opportunity ahead instead! Separately we are dangerous but together we can be unstoppable and claim that Trios Cup! It's a miracle! [48] Alina's performance stood out Starshow 2021 Date: Sat W3 Jan 2021 Under Suzanne's guidance Pamela found herself climbing the ranks and together they earned a world title shot against familiar foe Emma May. Pamela put in a solid performance but was unable to overcome the numbers game when the Fallen Angels stable formed around Suzanne Brazzle... Backstage, Pamela Rojo is lacing her boots as Suzanne Brazzle enters the locker room... Brazzle: Knock knock. Rojo: Hey. How’s it going? Brazzle: The nerves never go away, do they? Rojo: I hope not! [Pamela stops lacing her boots when she notices the pause] Rojo: Are you sure everything’s okay? Brazzle: When we first met we made a pact to not go quietly into the twilight of our careers. I feel like we’ve kicked ass since then to reach this moment... Now its here it just feels bittersweet it comes at each other’s expense. Rojo: I meant it when I said tonight isn’t personal. We are friends. And how about this? I’ll give you the first title shot! Brazzle: Very funny. You know how things are in this business. I’m just over thinking! Rojo: Just bring your best tonight. I know I am sister! [suzanne smiles, kisses Pamela on the cheek and leaves] [43] Going into 2021 will Pamela be able to withstand The Fallen Angels?
