  1. Thunderverse Heel stable: PsychoTIC Black Idol Ryder to be the main rivals of The Infestation/Beetles
  2. i think this might help. You have working relationship with the companies but what is your owner's or your personal relationships with the other owners/bookers?
  3. It's fair to say it goes both ways. The people who didn't like it were more motivated to complain than those of us who liked it were to praise, and now the opposite is true. And if tomorrow he announces it's back in there'll be a bunch of people on here voicing their displeasure about that I trust that he's making the best decisions for the game and if he could figure out a way to keep it with new features he will. And if not, like I said, not a make or break feature for me
  4. This is pretty much how I feel about fog of war. It's a nice feature that keeps me from turning it into a math game (only sign the guys with the highest numbers) but I think I'm far enough from EWR now, and the game has come so far since then in depth, that I shouldn't worry about dropping back into that mode

Should I do 1 PPV (event) a month? When is a good time for a weekly TV show? Also I would like to input some custom wrestlers I have used in all my wrestling games for the past 20 years how should this be done? Sorry for the questions but am anxious to finally get the ball rolling instead of puttering around all the time. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> others can better answer how to run your company at cult, but as far as creating your wrestlers, the best way to do it is in the pre-game editor which is the hammer icon on the main screen. there you can create your company, your wrestlers and even assign them contracts to your company if you wish</p>

While that won't solve all, especially with a big overness gap, it will convince some.</p>
  7. did you lose some regional battles? that would knock your pop down in those regions but international popularity isn't affected by them
  8. <p>Typically with this game, after i get a few sandbox games out of the way, I will create house rules for my games. My current house rule is that I can't employ anyone who is employed elsewhere and if someone signs elsewhere (exception for touring deals) I have to let them go. Do I get any bonus for this or my other house rules? No, of course not (other than not having to deal with scheduling conflicts that is) So why do I have them? Because they create a challenge, they make each game different, they force me to explore the cornellverse and sign guys I normally wouldn't.</p><p> </p><p> So why follow strict booking if there's no bonus? because it makes the game more challenging and forces you to have to adapt to injuries/workers leaving in different ways. And if you don't want to you don't have to. sounds good to me.</p>

  10. I was wondering if someone wanted to do a Marcel LeFleur as Black Cobra II, thanks
  11. there's a couple of different phrases "go to spot in the future" comes to mind. it well tell you which skill went up. but, it's a bonus improvement separate from the normal improvements you get from just using a worker
  12. I was wondering if I could get the default Phoenix IV mask with red, blue, white (3 separate masks) to fit the Phoenix regens. Thanks in advance Worker: Phoenix IV Alt: Red mask, Blue mask, White mask
  13. basically, yes. also you can use them to kind of scout workers by seeing who has great matches

RDJ started my TCW save 10 years in decline and is putting out 65-rated performances so I'd like to transition him into an authority role. What are the repercussions if I do that?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> for the most part wrestlers only care how often they are used, not how you use them. For example Jesus Chavez doesn't complain if I only use him as a manager for the other two latino kings. (now they will get rusty if they dont work for a while) So using him in angles as an authority figure should be fine</p><p> </p><p> however if you "push" him as an authority figure he may not like that and complain. i dont know for sure. But you can push him as a main eventer and still just use him in angles. think of it like Kurt Angle's original run as GM</p>

I'm just curious about the Cornellverse mod, why are so many people gravitated towards this mod for playthroughs? Didn't think it needed it's on thread. Excuse my ignorance, I'm just wondering.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> JamesCasey spelled it out pretty well but wanted to add my own thoughts. been playing this game since it was on DOS. When the first paid version came out Adam created the Cornellverse b/c licensing. I think many of us (at least me) were hesitant to embrace it, but some did. and then some fans started creating pictures for it. By the 2nd version more and more people started to get into it. It's really like any game/comic/movie world- when you get into the characters it's fun. The added bonus of the cornellverse is you can find connections b/t real life wrestlers and the wrestlers in the game. No one is an exact copy, but you'll find traits that will make you embrace certain guys. Honestly last 3 versions, when the demo was released I didn't play at all, I just spent the time reading profiles and seeing how the cornellverse had changed. it's hard to jump into it, but dip your toes a little. It really is a fun wrestling universe.</p>
  16. 1-yes there are "trends" and certain products can gain/lose momentum in certain areas over time. In the editor go under "Game World->Trends" and you can see the pre-set product popularity for the mod you are using

I know it's been answered before, but not sure where.<p> </p><p> I have a wrestler who is in the early 90s in pop in every area in the USA. More so than some of my main eventers. According to the most popular page, he's second in the world in pop overall. But the game insists on autopushing him to mid card. Any reason why?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> the wrestler's size/style will affect their autopush based on the company's product. For example a spot monkey in a traditional company would be pushed lower. </p><p> </p><p> how close the overness is between him and others will affect it as well. in other words a guy with 60 shouldnt push over a guy in the 90s, but if you have a ton of guys in the high 80s and his style doesnt mesh as well in your company that may be why he is dropping to mc</p>

I'm playing as TCW and Total Mayhem XXI is getting closer and I want the main-event to be Aaron Andrews vs Wolf Hawkins. A little background: At Total Mayhem XX, Andrews lost the World title to Sammy Bach, and hasn't been able to get it back, thus going after the tag team titles with Hawkins. (They're in a stable alongside Chord, Spade & Khoklov). Andrews & Hawkins won the tag titles and had a nice little run with them. Naturally, Andrews still wants the world title which is still around Bach's waist. <p> </p><p> I plan for Hawkins to win the title, which of course doesn't sit will well with Andrews. Hawkins will tell him that it doesn't really matter who has the title within the group, but the important thing is that they have it. The group could then easily kick out Hawkins, or Hawkins could take over leadership, or I could go a third way... I would need one of them to turn face, with Hawkins as the obvious choice, as he plays the face role best: 88 to Andrews' 77. However, Hawkins is sitting on a Legendary gimmick... would hate to mess that up with a poor one. Who would you guys turn?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> man i agree with not wanting to mess with the legendary gimmick. Is his gimmick one that could be both face/heel or would you have to change it? Your storyline more naturally pushes Hawkins to the face role, though you could book it in a way to make Andrews sympathetic.</p>

I see that the standard 1v1 match is rated as low prestige. Shouldnt it be neutral, with comedy matches and the sort listed as low prestige, and blow off gimmick matches be high prestige?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I believe the "low prestige" is essentially neutral. there's no penalty for it. the higher prestige matches-ladder, cage, war games get a bonus, however small it is.</p><p> </p><p> as far as matches getting dinged, that happens when you book them and depends on your product. for example running a comedy match in a CHIKARA like promotion won't hurt you, but if you did it in a super serious company it would. and you can turn a 1 vs 1 match into a comedy match with the "match aims" so match prestige would have little to do with that</p>

Realised I didnt want it so I changed it to start years later and put it to 'None'. However, they still started popping up. So I changed the the Regeneration setting to Disabled, thinking that might be it. But they're still popping up?</p><p> </p><p> I'm concerned that this great save I've got going will be ruined because of all these wrestlers with silly names and skewed stats. Does anyone know why I can't turn them off? Am I missing something?</p><p> Thanks</p><p> </p><p> Edit: I should mention its the '97 mod. Maybe the gameworld is a bit light on workers therefore it automatically generates?? I set smaller companies to hire only unemployed workers, maybe the gameworld needs x amount of unemployed people per region??</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> workers are generated/regenerated a year in advance of their debut. so once you turn it off it will take a year to actually stop</p>
  23. fair enough. my stable usually had them and one other- usually akima. one more suggestion Le Aiga samoan word for family
  24. I always liked Samoan Destruction Inc. I know Rhino and Machine use that for their tag name
  25. <p>one thing i really like about this mod is the number of family members and other intertwining relationships. I almost like it in that regard better than the cornellverse. It really helped me get into it because for example, I see could that Guy lothario was a legend and then i see these other characters are related or were trained by then I want to sign them.</p><p> </p><p> I do think it is possible to get too heavy with relationships, as I've seen in real world mods in the past, where they add every comment ever reported in a dirtsheet or shoot int. But this mod seems to strike a good balance.</p>
