Things are off to a wild start as Blaze and Winchester trade blows in a whirlwind of flying punches that sees no man win it until Ferrera tags himself in, requesting that Patriot also gets the tag. Initially ignoring him and looking to protect his damaged partner, Blaze throws down with the Athlete instead but to his surprise, Ferrera can stand his own in a fist-fight and even switches the battlefield to something that suits him better when he manages to take Blaze down to the mat. Things slow down and Blaze finds himself in a tough spot as Ferrera works over him with submissions but eventually catches a break to deliver the hot tag. Patriot storms the ring like a house on fire, but his initial momentum comes to a halt once the adrenaline wears off and the stinging pain of his pre-match attack returns to haunt him. Seeing a chance, the heels try to cut the ring in half and isolate Patriot on their corner; for a while it seems to work, but Blaze blind tags himself in for the breather. His emotions get the best of him though as he goes after Winchester, failing to realize that Ferrera is the legal man of that team. Distracted and worn down, Blaze gets caught in a Figure Four Leglock in the middle of the ring, with Patriot too spent to make the rescue before the tap out.</p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winners: Buck Winchester & "The Athlete" Xavi Ferrera, by submission</strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="87E3trK.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/87E3trK.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="8sEkkAa.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/8sEkkAa.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="AdZKSls.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/AdZKSls.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="GIRKb76.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GIRKb76.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="n1i1cZU.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/n1i1cZU.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="rFgGBti.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/rFgGBti.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><strong>w</strong><img alt="aMXABmX.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/aMXABmX.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> Eri Sato & Nicole Pyle vs "Ice Cold" Claire Winters & "Devious" Dee Daniels (with "Playboy" Jake Sawyer)</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> Daniels insists on starting the match for her team though after a few stiff kicks from Sato probably regrets it. Sato's "come at me sis" attitude might have been a smash hit with Japanese fans, but in the Mid Atlantic it only allows Daniels to pull off some dastardly tricks and brawl her way through the match before Pyle gets tagged in to slingshot herself into the match. The tide turns in favor of the face team, until Winters gets tagged in to put the brakes on Pyle. After making short work of the rookie, Winters demands to face Sato and her wish is granted, treating the audience to a sneak preview of what they can expect from the two ladies when they meet one on one for the title. The strikes back and forth are brutal but neither is willing to give ground until Daniels blind-tags herself in looking for a surprise roll up. Sato rolls through though, breaks free and almost knocks the head off the shoulders of Daniels with a Buzzsaw Kick before scoring the pin over her fallen opponent, eyes locked at Winters on the apron as if warning her she's next.</p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winners: Eri Sato & Nicole Pyle, by pinfall</strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="ozLd3Bm.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ozLd3Bm.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="SNEQX53.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/SNEQX53.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="SNEQX53.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/SNEQX53.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="sNvUXqw.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/sNvUXqw.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="f9JXISW.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/f9JXISW.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="GIRKb76.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GIRKb76.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="3XM4dah.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/3XM4dah.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="WuYw4C6.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/WuYw4C6.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><strong>w</strong><img alt="lh2JDXB.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/lh2JDXB.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> Piledriver Tag Team titles match</strong></p><p><strong> The Frat Pack vs The Death Squad © (with Sheik Ali Al-Avatar)</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> After being the last team eliminated at War for Territory #8 and despite avoiding confrontation for most of that match (or perhaps exactly for that reason) the Frat Pack find themselves one-on-one with new champions the Death Squad in a title match. The challengers' tricks allow them to stay in the match and wrestle Wolfe for a good five to six minutes, using their familiarity of the big man against him as they outsmart him to prevent him from steamrolling through them both. Not that they ever look like they have a good chance of winning, but at least they manage to keep the match even instead of a squash. That is, until Wolfe single-handedly turns things around to take control of the match and after delivering a beatdown gives the tag to Annihilus who comes in to sweep the remains before taking out Harvard with a Choke Grip.</p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winners: The Death Squad, by submission</strong></p><p><strong> The Death Squad make defence number 1 of their Piledriver Tag Team titles</strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="ozLd3Bm.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ozLd3Bm.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="SJYcxhu.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/SJYcxhu.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="amsxoxV.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/amsxoxV.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> The champions' victory party is crashed by Riley McManus and Jebediah who come out looking ready to do business. As Jebediah cracks his knuckles, McManus gets on the mic to issue a title challenge for the belts, prompting the Death Squad to take on opponents closer to their size. Despite his obvious grappling skill though, Diaz has more than just raw strength and athleticism going on for him and he opts to showcase just that, beating Knight hold for hold to make his comeback instead of just powering out of a tight situation and even defeating him with a submission hold of his own as Knight taps out to a Boston Crab just seconds before the ten minute mark.</p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winner: "Glorious" Logan Diaz, by submission</strong></p><p><strong> "Glorious" Logan Diaz makes defence number 1 of his Piledriver United States title</strong></p><p> <img alt="rCrbMWQ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/rCrbMWQ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="MzjfHKV.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/MzjfHKV.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> Once the match is over, Diaz gets on the mic to repeat his challenge and demand a conclusive finish versus Ferrera, saying he has loose ends to tie up before even dreaming of a Piledriver title match.</p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p></p><img alt="ozLd3Bm.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ozLd3Bm.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="c3ifflk.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/c3ifflk.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="GIRKb76.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GIRKb76.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="BX7IQui.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/BX7IQui.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> Last Man Standing match</strong></p><p><strong> Cameron "J-Man" Jones vs "Class Act" Syd Collier</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> The main event is the next chapter in the saga of the Dynamite Express' implosion. With Collier having won every match since the MAW-Piledriver merger and plenty of shenanigans involved in every one of those, the two men take center stage to slug out their differences in a Last Man Standing match. Being more of a classic brawler, Jones is able to take full advantage of the stipulation over the more technically-oriented Collier, especially once the action spills outside of the ring. Crazy ringside brawls and hardcore weapons spots were never a MAW or Piledriver staple, but the two men deliver a proper fight in this unusual setting, with Collier finding his mean streak as he adapts to the environment, stretching Jones through the barricade or suplexing him onto the ring steps. 2. <p>Pretty sure I also told you to hit me up when this materialized, but here regardless, if a bit late to the party. Thanks for your kind words and super hyped to follow this. The strategy breakdown was awesome too, helps crack the tough riddle that is running BCG.</p><p> </p><p> So, will you be posting tour shows too or just the big ones?</p>
  3. I can neither confirm nor deny anything At least we got names for the tag promo. If I understood correctly, the first promo was Ox Mastadon hyping himself?
  4. Probably the best renders of that crew I've seen. The large body shot is a great bonus, good job King Bison

The rest of the match was Yoshinaka Taku going mostly 2 on 1 against his opponents in hopes of buying his father some recovery time but American Demolition Mk. II put that plan to rest when Smith spiked the BCG National champion with a Tombstone Piledriver for the pin, winning himself a shot at the title in the process.</p><p> <strong>In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, American Demolition Mk.II defeated Toshinobu Taku and Yoshinaka Taku in 13:43 when Bulldozer Brandon Smith defeated Yoshinaka Taku by pinfall with a Tombstone Piledriver.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Rating:</strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="pyf9Pt4.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/pyf9Pt4.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="rYebwAf.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/rYebwAf.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="SK5hp7P.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/SK5hp7P.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="SK5hp7P.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/SK5hp7P.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="4z5J7B2.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/4z5J7B2.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="HHP9byq.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/HHP9byq.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="25UZG0h.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/25UZG0h.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="VfnB77X.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/VfnB77X.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="Ffwz2MA.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Ffwz2MA.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> BCG World Tag Team titles match</strong></p><p><strong> Partnership of Pain © vs Threepwood & Goto</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> Another match made possible via BCG no longer preventing stablemates from facing each other, the night's first title match saw former Coast to Coast allies go head to head for tag team gold. As the latest holder of the Challengers Series title before relinquishing it for a shot at the BCG National title, Torii made sense and had a chance to recapture the title, but to do so he had to get past both Kiyotaka and Vanzycha. The Polish grappler's resilience especially proved to be a major problem for Torii, who eventually found himself torn over whether he should switch his focus to Kiyotaka or continue pounding on top of all the hits he had landed so far. Kiyotaka's role in this matchup was saved for the later part, when both Torii and Vanzycha had burned up most of the gas in their tanks and thus were forced to slow down to a pace that fit his own mat grappling style better. Opting to go for the easier of two targets, at least in his mind, Kiyotaka worked his way towards locking in the Kimura that got him a tap out from Vanzycha, earning him both the win and the Challengers Series title, his first ever championship gold in his entire career.</p><p> <strong>In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Kiyotaka defeated Bunrakuken Torii and Pavel Vanzycha in 16:07 when Kiyotaka defeated Pavel Vanzycha by submission with a Kimura. With Funakoshi having won both previous one on one matches (the other being the final of the 2016 Yoshifusa Maeda Grand Prix) he was the favorite in this match, however Ikoma's odds were vastly improved by the recent injury the champion was still recovering from. Funakoshi's upper back issues were just what Ikoma needed as he hit his usual explosive suplexes to maximize inflicted damage, including a brutal release suplex that sent the champion back first onto the turnbuckle pad. Funakoshi's signature never-say-die samurai attitude was there and kept him going for most of the match, although the damage sustained came back to haunt him more than once, especially during moves that required him to lift his opponent. Sadly for him, his Butterfly Backbreaker is one of them and on several occasions Funakoshi was unsuccessful in his attempts to execute it as his back gave way. Meanwhile, Ikoma even reversed one into his own Northern Lights Bomb finisher, from which Funakoshi somehow kicked out just inches before the referee's hand hit the mat for the third time. It was a gruelling match that went on for nearly half an hour, keeping fans on the edge of their seats until Funakoshi finally hit the Butterfly Backbreaker amongst his own screams of pain to cover Ikoma for a hard-earned victory.</p><p> <strong>In a bout that had great wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Funakoshi defeated Blast Ikoma in 28:15 by pinfall with a Butterfly Backbreaker. Miss Atlantic Wrestling is the only one out of the three to not be debuting here, but it has now become known that she is the personal protege of the legendary Sam Keith. 27 year old Japanese fighter Eri Sato boasts an impressive background in several martial arts and throughout the course of the match, that becomes evident via her wide array of supremely stiff kicks. Last but not least, "Devious" Dee Daniels is a 2017 graduate of the Supreme Wrestling University whose only match in major promotion so far was a DQ loss to Sarah Taylor at AAA's Deadlier than Male show in December of 2017. Being the only heel in this match, Daniels plays the dastardly part well on top of her solid brawling antics and that also plays into the finish of the match when she barely dodges a Buzzaw Kick from Sato that instead connects with the head of Miss Atlantic Wrestling. Daniels quickly rolls out of the ring and lets Sato take the pin, content to get away in one piece and live to fight another day.</p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winner: Eri Sato, by pinfall</strong></p><p> <img alt="M4SOg7D.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/M4SOg7D.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="aMXABmX.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/aMXABmX.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="n1i1cZU.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/n1i1cZU.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> Sato's music is cut off by that of reigning Piledriver Women's champion, "Ice Cold" Claire Winters. Collier hypes up the fact that he will be facing his two biggest enemies on the roster tonight: Masked Patriot, the man who beat him in the main event of the Sam Keith Classic VIII and his former Dynamite Express partner, Cameron Jones. Ferrera then picks up from there to respond to the opening segment and the words of Logan Diaz. While he would love to beat Diaz clean and take that title from him, he has bigger prizes to chase. As he reminds everyone, Ferrera is a former Piledriver champion and tonight, he intends to pin Masked Patriot and take the first step towards reclaiming the top prize of the company.</p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p></p><img alt="rCrbMWQ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/rCrbMWQ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="FHUEpiU.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/FHUEpiU.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="c3ifflk.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/c3ifflk.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="GIRKb76.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GIRKb76.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="BX7IQui.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/BX7IQui.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="uN4bdE9.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/uN4bdE9.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> Masked Patriot & Cameron "J-Man" Jones vs "Class Act" Syd Collier & "The Athlete" Xavi Ferrera</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> Ferrera is up first, trading blows with Jones but repeatedly stating it's Masked Patriot he wants to tangle up with. Eventually, Ferrera gets his request when the Piledriver champion gets the tag and the two of them slug it out back and forth. Calling for a timeout after a while, Ferrera tags in Collier who is all to happy about picking up where he and Patriot left off at the Sam Keith Classic VII. Being a technically-minded wrestler, Collier slows down the pace with some low intensity mat grappling, but once Patriot is able to power out and tag Jones in, the former partners' bad blood fires things up again. As good as the heel team is individually, their egos gradually seem to get the best of them and they have serious trouble working as a team, while Jones and Patriot are able to frequently tag in and out to control the match and provide a breather whilst keeping the fresher man in. Seeing how this isn't working, Ferrera decides to improvise and when he catches Collier and Jones arguing at ringside, he blid tags himself in to roll up Jones from behind for the pin.</p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winners: "Class Act" Syd Collier and "The Athlete" Xavi Ferrera, by pinfall with a fast roll up</strong></p><p> <img alt="87E3trK.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/87E3trK.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="pmHS2Ce.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/pmHS2Ce.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="2FjO0qV.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/2FjO0qV.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> Just like the last minutes of the Sam Keith Classic, the lights flicker and both Scythe and Reaper show up near the corner where Masked Patriot had been standing. The two babyface teams proceed to put up a solid athletic match of friendly competition, one that Wolfe abruptly interrupts when he blind-tags himself in by tapping Pilgrim's back. Wolfe takes out his aggression on the good looking clients of Lisa Bowen, who play it smart and decide to work together in an effort to double-team a guy they've known since their MAW days. Reading the match well, Sheik urges Annihilus to get in there and once the tag is made, it is indeed a matter of a few moves before the massive super heavyweight takes out Neehdam with a Choke Grip, then bodyslams Needham for the pin and elimination. This brings the reluctant Frat Pack back into the match with the two men arguing over who should go in to face Annihilus, only for the monster to charge them both and send them flying to the ringside floor. Given the quality and experience of both teams, it is no surprise the match delivers a true spectacle that reminds all watching what tag team wrestling is all about. Despite a somewhat bumpy justification story-wise, the match itself is a frantic fight worked at full speed as both ladies give their all between the ropes in a match that keeps the fans going after the hot intro segment. Both Flame and Winters are accomplished martial artists so the match is pretty hard hitting, almost like a stand-up MMA throwdown; Flame's kick keep her challenger at a distance for most of the match, but Winters takes every opening she can find to close in and land several punches, even if most of her shots end up wide off target. The ones that do connect with the champion's head seem to rock her pretty hard though and once Flame is groggy, Winters hits a Heel Kick out of nowhere to knock her down for the count as Alvin Lavin counts the one-two-three for the bell!</p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winner: "Ice Cold" Claire Winters, by pinfall</strong></p><p><strong> "Ice Cold" Claire Winters wins the Piledriver Womens title</strong></p><p> <img alt="87E3trK.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/87E3trK.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Sawyer enters the ring to celebrate Winters winning the title and once Flame is back up on her feet, she offers a handshake of respect and recognition to the new challenger. For all their similarities, they also have a few big differences, namely the fact that Ferrera has held both the Piledriver and Mid Atlantic American titles while Diaz has yet to win any form of championship gold. This hunger has Diaz chasing a pin from the opening bell already, a fast pace that surprises but also suits the athletic Ferrera. The two men trade rapid fire blows and holds for about ten minutes, before Ferrera takes a chance at a roll up as he reverses his opponent's Belly to Belly Suplex; however, Diaz rolls through it to turn his predicament around and within seconds, the roll up backfires as Ferrera gets pinned, losing both match and title to the challenger.</p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winner: "Glorious" Logan Diaz, by pinfall with a fast roll up</strong></p><p><strong> "Glorious" Logan Diaz wins the Mid Atlantic American title. </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="rCrbMWQ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/rCrbMWQ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="7r4IhRT.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/7r4IhRT.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="fv4Kbba.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/fv4Kbba.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="GIRKb76.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GIRKb76.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="HFntra6.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/HFntra6.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="U9Kg052.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/U9Kg052.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="GIRKb76.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GIRKb76.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="3XM4dah.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/3XM4dah.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="WuYw4C6.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/WuYw4C6.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><strong>w</strong><img alt="lh2JDXB.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/lh2JDXB.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> Three Way Elimination match</strong></p><p><strong> The Sam Keith Classic tournament final</strong></p><p><strong> The Ring Generals vs Thunder&Lightning vs The Death Squad (with Sheik Ali Al-Avatar)</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> Smartly 'delaying' their involvement, the Ring Generals leave Thunder & Lightning to take the brunt of Annihilus' onslaught, before rushing in to confuse the big beast with intricate submission holds. Faced with a style he can't tackle and under orders from the Sheik, Annihilus tags in Wolfe who walks straight into a Wheelbarrow Bomb and the elimination just as Lomas and Thunder slide back into the ring. Shockingly enough, this will be the first time ever that the Sam Keith Classic tournament will be won by a team not regularly appearing for the host promotion. That's not all though; last time the Ring Generals clashed with Thunder & Lightning, it was April 2017 in 4C's Wrestling Showcase, with Lomas pinning Waldorf to end the Generals' 20 month reign as COTT World Tag Team champions. The titles may not be on the line for this match, but this doesn't make it any less personal for the two teams left, who hit each other with everything they've got as fans go wild. The pace picks up and after Lomas barely misses with a big elbow drop off the top turnbuckle, the Generals pounce to hit him with their dreaded Wheelbarrow Bomb tag finisher before Waldorf scores the pin for both the win and payback.</p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winners: The Ring Generals, by pinfall</strong></p><p> <img alt="ozLd3Bm.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ozLd3Bm.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46150" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p></p><img alt="hBbYX3c.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/hBbYX3c.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p><strong> </strong><strong><span style="font-size:12px;">Sam Keith Classic VIII winners</span></strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="7r4IhRT.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/7r4IhRT.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="fv4Kbba.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/fv4Kbba.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> </strong><strong><span style="font-size:18px;">The Ring Generals</span></strong></p><p><strong> "Deadly" Dean Waldorf & "Marvelous" Marv Statler</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p></p><img alt="ccyN6lK.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ccyN6lK.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="CVDd1gx.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/CVDd1gx.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p><strong> </strong><img alt="FHUEpiU.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/FHUEpiU.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="GIRKb76.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GIRKb76.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="BX7IQui.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/BX7IQui.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> Clash of Champions Title Unification match</strong></p><p><strong> Masked Patriot (Piledriver champion) vs "Class Act" Syd Collier (Mid Atlantic champion)</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> A match several months in the making and more or less called for since the MAW-Piledriver merger, this title unification clash is practical as it is symbolic of the promotion's internal struggle following the merger. The two competitors are pretty evenly matched in size, weight and power, making for an evenly matched bout as well. Patriot's all about big strikes and the occasional basic slam, whereas Collier methodically targets his opponent's lower back, looking to soften it up for his Texas Cloverleaf finisher. The match is off to a slow start with neither man rushing into attack as they circle the ring but with every move, they seem to be feeding off each other as they're carried away into hitting bigger and stiffer moves. Harkening back to the old days of the territories, Patriot complements his strikes with some real oldschool bearhugs and nerveholds, to which Collier responds with various modified release suplexes that send Patriot crashing to the mat back first. On one of those, Collier tries to follow up with his finisher but Patriot barely escapes before the move is properly locked in, crawling outside the ring for a breather. Instead of pursuing, Collier gets cocky and dares Patriot to come back in, apparently causing a rift in the crowd between the MAW loyalists in support of Collier and a mix of new fans, patriotic fans and a few super smarky ones who see Patriot as a revamped American Patriot, the character Bulldozer Brandon Smith used to portray during his time with MAW. Whatever the case, it's duelling chants as the competitors cautiously approach for a test of strength, one that Patriot wins to explode into a Patriot Slam and score the pin to end the match.</p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winner: Masked Patriot, by pinfall</strong></p><p><strong> Masked Patriot makes defence number 2 of his Piledriver Championship title</strong></p><p><strong> Masked Patriot wins the Mid Atlantic Championship title</strong></p><p> <img alt="IqChfad.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/IqChfad.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="FHUEpiU.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/FHUEpiU.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="pmHS2Ce.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/pmHS2Ce.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="2FjO0qV.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/2FjO0qV.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> Red white and blue confetti covers the ring as Masked Patriot is handed both the Piledriver and Mid Atlantic title. Seconds later, the power is restored and in the ring flanking him are Scythe and Reaper! Despite just having been through a gruelling match, Patriot isn't shy about raising his fists prepping for a fight. Scythe and Reaper look unphased, almost expressionless, as the lights go out once again and when the lighting returns, Patriot is standing alone in the ring.</p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p></p><img alt="rCrbMWQ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/rCrbMWQ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Show rating:</span></strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="87E3trK.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/87E3trK.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p>
  13. <p>I'll admit seeing the new angles setup will be easier to digest for me, but I do like the addition of stunt/crazy bumps as it helps you both use those to boost an angle's rating while also risking injury in return. Plus harcore companies and daredevil workers have an extra weapon to work with.</p><p> </p><p> Likewise, the "Rated on: Fighting" addition is a great one. So far I've handled brawls using Overness or Menace and beatdowns using Menace&Selling. This leads to a hype package about the Sam Keith Classic tag team tournament and the entrance of one half of the current tag champions, Bradley Blaze. Blaze cuts a short promo in his thick Texas accent to voice his concerns about the champions being in the Classic and how the apparent tension between them might affect them. This brings out Buck Winchester, who jumps Blaze and beats him down, before picking up the mic to cut a promo of his own. Winchester brings up his Fatal Force match and how Blaze never showed up to save him and Patriot from the beatdown they suffered at the hands of the Death Squad and the debuting Reaper, which is why he returned the favor at War for Territory #6 and abandoned Blaze at Seek and Destroy. According to Winchester, folks like Blaze and Patriot came in to steal his thunder, MAW imports and RIPW imports keeping a Piledriver Wrestling original down.</p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p></p><img alt="rCrbMWQ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/rCrbMWQ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="0OTqIIo.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/0OTqIIo.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="MLoko29.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/MLoko29.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="2rzwtJa.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/2rzwtJa.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> "Red Hot" Laura Flame, Marie Punnen and Miss Mid Atlantic Wrestling</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="GIRKb76.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GIRKb76.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="ffi3NAo.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ffi3NAo.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="n1i1cZU.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/n1i1cZU.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="ftXcagA.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ftXcagA.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><strong>w</strong><img alt="aMXABmX.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/aMXABmX.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> Talia Quinzel, "Ice Cold" Claire Winters & "Dangerous" Deborah Young (with "Playboy" Jake Sawyer)</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> The mystery new wrestler debuting is announced as "Miss Atlantic Wrestling" and comes out wearing the red white and blue star spangled mask to a good reaction from the crowd. If the name alone wasn't a dead giveaway, her oldschool technical style that's become synonumous with MAW is another hint at her being more or less a "tribute" character riding the wave of MAW nostalgia. Both teams use quick and often tags, allowing each member to get in the ring, pull off a few moves and retreat before taking too much damage or getting too winded. This gives everyone a bit of time in the spotlight, before Sawyer barely pulls Young back to avoid a Flame Fire Kick, which in turn allows her to hit the Sit-Out Powerbomb on Flame for the pin.</p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winners: alia Quinzel, "Ice Cold" Claire Winters & "Dangerous" Deborah Young, by pinfall after Playboy Jake Sawyer interfered</strong></p><p> <img alt="M4SOg7D.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/M4SOg7D.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="MzjfHKV.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/MzjfHKV.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> "Glorious" Logan Diaz is out next and once his entrance is complete, he grabs a mic to cut a promo, promising to win his match tonight and move on to defeat Xavi Ferrera for the Mid Atlantic American title at the Sam Keith Classic VIII.</p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p></p><img alt="ozLd3Bm.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ozLd3Bm.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="MzjfHKV.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/MzjfHKV.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="GIRKb76.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GIRKb76.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="R9KIBTS.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/R9KIBTS.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> "Glorious" Logan Diaz vs The Architect (of your Destruction)</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> Faced with a big brawler, the Architect goes for the sure-fire plan of trying to take his opponent down on the mat for a stretch. Given the size and atheticism of Diaz that's easier said than done but the MAW standout seems willing to take a few blows if that means he can get a chance to shoot for the legs of Diaz. After controlling the start of the match, Diaz finds himself taken down and on the defensive as the Architect applies his various submission holds trying to wear him down. The fight back to a vertical base is slow and strenuous but Diaz makes it back to his feet, though still on the receiving end of his opponent's submissions, until he's able to reverse an attempt at a chickenwing into an explosive Belly to Belly Suple that earns him the pinfall victory.</p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Winner: "Glorious" Logan Diaz, by pinfall</strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="rCrbMWQ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/rCrbMWQ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="8Hz8BrX.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/8Hz8BrX.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="uN4bdE9.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/uN4bdE9.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="GIRKb76.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/GIRKb76.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="IgA1djG.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/IgA1djG.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><strong> Mid Atlantic American title match</strong></p><p><strong> "The Athlete" Xavi Ferrera © Austin "Easy Money" Smooth</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> Much like the previous match, this one is off to a similar start with Smooth trying to slow down the pace and keep Ferrera grounded so he can apply his submission holds. In terms of 'realism', with TV shows you rarely know the full card ahead of time, you just tune in to watch what happens, whereas the major shows are announced and promoted ahead of time so you can buy your ticket. In terms of format/narrative/presentation, I'm liking how you add in a bit of commentary at the start of each show and how you seem to have found a place to write out the promos.</p>

Vessey had sent me the video as thanks and it had been a great match indeed. No wonder it headlined NYCW's latest show and not just because of the title's importance. Scythe's opponent had been Bulldozer Brandon Smith, a MAW alumnus who'd worn the mask of American Patriot before he moved on to bigger things, including regular tours of Japan with Black Canvas Grappling to hone his skills. I still had to produce a graduate with a story like that, at least not since I started Piledriver Wrestling. Hell, even Pilgrim and Reaper took a step back and found themselves working for us. Two and a half years at the helm, 35 shows in and still not cutting it. But hey, at least we were still in business. We'd overcome crippling debt. We'd merged with MAW and brought in Michaels to the rescue. And now, we were about to make the jump West. It made sense. MAW's Mid Atlantic fanbase was greater than what we'd ever gained in the South East. More eyes on the product, more butts in seats, more money in our coffers. It's been on my mind since the merger, but I was too slow to pull the trigger and ride the momentum of that event, so I had to wait until the Keith Classic. For which, I realized, I was dangerously low on tag teams to compete in.</p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46150" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><p><strong>Piledriver Wrestling Presents</strong></p><p><strong> </strong><strong><span style="font-size:14px;">Seek and Destroy 2018</span></strong></p><p><strong> Saturday, Week 4 June, 2018</strong></p><p><strong> Live from the Rainbow Bar & Grill, FL for the last time!</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> Main Event</strong></p><p><strong> COTT World Heavyweight title match</strong></p><p> "The Chokeslam Chief" Scythe © vs "The Hawaiian Strongman" Ekuma</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Co-Main Event</strong></p><p><strong> Piledriver title match</strong></p><p> Masked Patriot © vs "The Crusher" George Wolfe</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Mid Atlantic American title match</strong></p><p> "The Athlete" Xavi Ferrera © vs Cip Conduit</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Piledriver Tag Team titles match</strong></p><p> "The Dallas Cowboy" Bradley Blaze & "The Texan Patriot" Buck Winchester © vs The Architect (of your Destruction) & "The Sandman" Jules Knight</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Women's Tag Team opening match</strong></p><p> The Babes of Sin City (Littlefeather&McFly) vs Sawyer Sports Services (Quinzel&Winters)</p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="EBEZA" data-cite="EBEZA" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46150" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Great show as always, a bit gutting about the negative chemistry note for Scythe & Reaper.
