  4. BREAKING: Totoya Munakata Leaves PGHW! In quite shocking news, Totoya Munakata after 8 years in Pride Glory Honor Wrestling has announced his departure from the company to join the promotion's former developmental promotion, Pro Wrestling SAISHO as their new head booker! The former two-time Historical Japan Champion had been featured on a recent tour, challenging Reaver for the International Championship at the December 2019 show Night of WRESTLING, so him leaving has come as quite a shock to both PGHW and the wrestling world alike. Munakata posted a statement on Twitter today. "I would first off like to thank PGHW and Nobuatsu Tatsuko for giving me a home and developing me as a pro wrestler. I'll always be grateful for the opportunities they gave me in the company. The reason I am leaving isn't anything personal between myself or any of the PGHW staff or wrestlers, it's purely for my own happiness." "Over the past several years I have grown more and more disillusioned with Puroresu. I feel like for the last year especially I have been forcing myself to do a style of wrestling that I don't personally align with. After multiple discussions with Tatsuko and Shuji Inukai, we agreed it would be best for me to part ways and chase after MY vision for what this sport should be." "Pro Wrestling SAISHO and Mito Miwa have been generous enough to allow me to showcase what that vision is, and I can't be anymore grateful to one of the best to ever lace up a pair of boots. I can't wait to get started as the new head booker and give you fans a company you can be proud of." "SHOOT-STYLE SAISHO FOREVER." 6. Gonna be scenes when OLLIE drives SOTB into the ground XD This is excellent stuff, really got me back into TEW when I felt I'd gotten as much as I could out the game! I just hope PGHW isn't dead by 2026 because I don't play any other company I can't go without ma boys
  7. Night of Wrestling 2021 Kobe - Gonna go for an outsiders pick here just because Kobe is so good he deserves at least a transitional run 😭 KITA & SATO - SATO's had a bit of a shite time as of late, hope ma boy picks up a title at least Ronin VII - Chojiro I think is destined to have his own group at some point, and I think a loss here could set that further into motion Takano - This is purely because I'm a Takano Stan haha Ugaki - I think whoever wins this match has a case for being the next challenger to the Glory Crown, and while Masuno has seemingly been getting better and better throughout his time in PGHW, you can't go wrong with a Ugaki challenge The Front & The Lions of Japan REBEL Emoto - Kobayashi's been really underwhelming from what I've seen in this thread, so I can see him getting punted Big fan of this thread chief, can't wait for the show!

  9. STRIKEFIRST News! Featherweight Grand Prix! STRIKEFIRST CEO Charlie Knight has announced that starting in February, we'll see the beginning of the STRIKEFIRST Featherweight Grand Prix to crown the first ever Featherweight Champion! The participants announced for tournament are: Jason Dalglish (21-5) Physically very small, the scrappy young Featherweight Jason Dalglish is nonetheless not someone to be taken lightly; a strong Jiu-Jitsu background gives him submission skills that can end a match in an instant, and he has proven to be a very tough opponent to finish off. A SIGMA regular and former contender for the Featherweight title, a badly broken arm saw him miss most of 1999 and 2000 although he now appears to be getting his career back on track. Fernando Peragon (13-3) Debuting in 1994, Fernando Peragon quickly established himself as bit of a wild man, his reckless brawling style revolving around loading up his big right hand whenever possible and swinging for the fences. Although his style is short on finesse, it has proven to be too much for many of his opponents to handle. A regular with SIGMA, he, along with most of the top names in the company, jumped ship to STRIKEFIRST at the beginning of 2002. Manish Khan (11-4) Having excelled in England's amatuer boxing ranks, "Kid Britain" Manish Khan moved to MMA in 1994. Boasting fast hands and excellent head movement, his elusive counter-punching style quickly helped him establish himself as a major force and took him all the way to a SIGMA Featherweight title shot. Unfortunately he lost that bout to Snorri Gunnarsson and the defeat seems to have sent his career into a tailspin, and will no doubt be looking to get his career back on track during this tournament. Pedro Alves (15-5) Portugal's Pedro "The Wolverine" Alves has been a regular on the European circuit since his debut in 1993. A dedicated student of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (and a particularly big fan of using the rubber guard), he has the ability to cause most people major headaches on the floor but has always been let down by his poor stand-up skills. Colm Dee (15-5) A former boxer, Colm "The Celtic Warrior" Dee is a fan favourite because of his exciting guts and glory approach to MMA. His ground game is definitely his weakness, but Dee has developed an excellent sprawl - helped by his unusual height for a featherweight - and so is very difficult to takedown. His big reach also comes in very handy. Gerit Dudok (9-0) An exciting young talent from the Netherlands, Gerrit Dudok is a quality kick boxer who is known for his flashy strikes. Making his pro debut at just 19, Dudok is considered to be one of the potential future Featherweight champions. SIGMA certainly thought so, as they signed him in 1999. He has gone on to win his first five fights for them, sending him rocketing up the rankings before STRIKEFIRST signed him. Marco Bernacci (8-2) One of Europe's brightest prospects, Marco "The Bomb" Bernacci is a talented kick boxer who has the power to knock out any opponent. A good sprawl also helps keep him away from his weakest area, the ground. He was a regular with SIGMA, fighting in their Featherweight division, and appeared to be slowly being groomed for the top. Graeme Rothwell (9-1) A short but powerful Featherweight, Graeme Rothwell has a background in grappling and likes to use that to control and dominate opponents. Far from one dimensional, "Sparky" also hits hard and has some good chokes in his submission arsenal. (Author's notes: I changed Graeme Spark's name because for some reason I don't like it haha) The tournament brackets will be announced in the coming weeks. European Expansion! Since the announcement of a rebrand, STRIKEFIRST has certainly been busy, signing a vast amount of talent from SIGMA in particular. some of the huge names include reigning SIGMA Heavyweight Champion Aleksander Ivanov, The Basora Brothers Alberto and Luis, even outbidding ALPHA-1 for Luis, former champion and one half of the 1999 and 2001 Fight of the Year Matti Kurri, rising stars Dag Kreuger, Stephan De Winter and Thom Billings, Middleweight contender Thorbjorn Rekdal, Jens Halle, Templeton Crumb and almost the entirity of their Featherweight division. This sudden shift in mentality for STRIKEFIRST appears to be to try and do more shows outside the UK, which will no doubt worry SIGMA due to them not having the financial backing that STRIKEFIRST do. There are some notable names STRIKEFIRST curiously didn't go for though, namely the most sought after Light Heavyweight in the continent Niko Soldo, Featherweight Champion Lars Bohlin and former champion Snorri Gunnarsson. Snorri and Lars weren't brought in due to Knight not enjoying their style of fighting and thought it'd put a downer on the new division if the initial champion wasn't willing to put on a show. Knight and Soldo meanwhile have a long history with each other, dating back to 1999, when Knight tried to sign Niko but talks apparently went so badly he silently blacklisted "The Gladiator" from the company, both men haven't spoken publicly about the issue however.
  10. STRIKEFIRST Roster Heavyweight: Aleksander Ivanov (11-1) (CR 3) Bast Moulke (3-0) (CR 22) Carter Potter (C) (21-4) (CR 1) Christopher Drew (7-1) (CR 11) Constantin Burlacu (5-1) (CR 16) Dave Lennon (16-7) (CR 9) Fritz Phipps (9-1) (CR 5) Gary Jackson (0-0) Howard Pursglove (13-10) (CR 19) Laurence Lamping (2-0) (CR 24) Linton Renn (9-3) (CR 15) Magnus Thysgesen (7-2) Mark Bicknell (11-3) (CR 6) Massimiliano Locatelli (3-0) (CR 23) Maxim Emelianenko (8-0) Michael Bannon (9-6) (CR 14) Morgan Wakarewarewa (5-0) (CR 18) Nimrod Wickhammersley (4-0) (CR 21) Ozzy Bintley (5-1) (CR 17) Percy Catcher (12-4) (CR 4) Perry Barr (16-7) (CR 7) Perry Potenkin (2-0) Quentin Beecraft (8-0) (CR 12) Reynolds Baer (8-2) (CR 13) Scotty Arnsson (4-0) Stafford Alois (28-11) (CR 2) Tyke Milligan (8-0) (CR 10) Vic Millican (20-6) (CR 8 ) Light Heavyweight: Adrian Majoram (9-3) (CR 9) Adrian Swall (9-1) (CR 14) Andoni Olano (8-2) Conor Houghton (7-9) (CR 23) Crow Leddy (7-1) (CR 15) Dag Kreuger (9-0) (CR 7) Daniel Hornsby (13-6) (CR 13) Danko Jelavic (7-0) (CR 12) Danny Akabaro (9-0) (CR 6) Eddie Whelan (14-6) Eoghan Behan (7-4) (CR 22) Fabian Schar (10-0) (CR 5) Frankie Burgess (5-0) Garry McSweegan (23-10) (CR 4) Gavriil Sviridov (7-4) (CR 18) Henrik Eliasson (13-2) Lenny McFadden (C) (14-1) (CR 1) Matthew Michael Kirby (8-0) (CR 8 ) Matti Kurri (10-2-1) (CR 2) Max Rebottaro (2-1) (CR 24) Mick Curran (15-11) (CR 19) Murray O'Hare (7-3) (CR 11) Nestor Morozov (25-14-1) (CR 16) Neville Granville (6-2) (CR 17) Roko Stipanovic (5-0) (CR 20) Stef Lomb (4-0) (CR 21) Stephan De Winter (9-0) (CR 10) Tikhon Diev (11-0) (CR 3) Middleweight: Andrew Rush (18-10) (CR 10) Augustus Shorrock (8-2) (CR 17) Billy Fish (7-1) (CR 22) Casper Gordeau (12-3) Charlie Oakley (5-0) (CR 11) Conrad Bueller (4-0) (CR 25) Davis Spyrou (20-7) (CR 4) Edgar Van Den Hoogenband (6-1) (CR 21) Edu Gattai (8-0) (CR 14) Ginger Beaumont (9-0) (CR 3) Hans-Peter Schneider (17-8) (CR 5) Heath Kaladaris (6-1) (CR 20) Henning Olsen (18-7) (CR 2) Ivor Orr (8-0) (CR 8 ) Ollie Castle (8-0) (CR 9) Paul Goodfellow (1-1) Ram Phookan (11-6) (CR 7) Ramin Rostami (4-0) (CR 24) Rhys Buck (7-1) (CR 18) Rob Baines (C) (33-11) (CR 1) Robin Catskill (2-2) Shaun Dico (7-0) (CR 19) Snuffy Fontana (8-1) (CR 13) Thom Billings (9-0) (CR 15) Thorbjorn Rekdal (10-2) (CR 6) Tucker Plumm (17-11) (CR 12) Tyrone Malik (8-0) (CR 16) Wayne McKellen (7-5) (CR 23) Welterweight: Alberto Basora (22-8) (CR 2) Ats Kruglov (5-0) (CR 18) Bret Clement (8-3) (CR 16) Brian O'Flaherty (4-0) (CR 25) Buzzy Tuttle (9-4) (CR 17) Caragh Green (5-2) (CR 21) David Webb (C) (19-5) (CR 1) Dominykas Jankovic (13-4) (CR 10) Duncan Thistlewood (7-3) (CR 22) Evgeni Medtner (24-7) (CR 7) Grant Kyle (4-4) Iain Fussell (9-2) (CR 11) Jayden Karp (7-0) (CR 13) Jens Halle (18-3) (CR 3) Jerome Atkins (1-1) Kush Singh (2-1) Malloy Mahoney (6-2) (CR 24) Martin Cupples (11-1) (CR 12) Mikey Wallace (8-3) (CR 14) Mills Mullally (19-6) (CR 5) Oleksandro Hlushko (6-1) (CR 20) Ragnar Gunnlaugsson (6-1) (CR 19) Robert Darrell (14-7) (CR 15) Scott Gillespie (5-3) (CR 23) Steven Griffin (17-8) (CR 8 ) Templeton Crumb (22-4) (CR 4) Timothy Latchkey (10-2) (CR 9) Vikram Sithalayan (19-4) (CR 6) Lightweight: Cyril Kamoze (6-2) (CR 19) Dieter Kolzig (6-2) (CR 23) Dom Yorke (7-2) (CR 9) Dominick Oppenheimer (6-3) (CR 18) Doug Hansen (C) (20-5) (CR 1) Enar Igonen (6-0) (CR 13) George Astaire (13-6) (CR 7) Georges Nouri (13-3) (CR 3) Gerrard Kneeling (6-2) (CR 20) Gordon Idle (11-5) (CR 5) Gregory O'Hara (10-0) (CR 6) Irving Braun (7-0) (CR 10) Jazz Snide (3-0) Jeremy Sproule (7-5) (CR 21) Jochen Bellof (9-3) (CR 12) Jonjo Whiteley (5-0) (CR 25) Keith Jolly (6-3) (CR 15) Luis Basora (23-5) (CR 2) Mal Beswick (7-3) (CR 14) Nigel Collett (6-2) (CR 24) Olafur Petursson (5-4) (CR 22) Paddy McNamara (9-1) (CR 11) Pip Londress (4-1) Radovan Lipovsky (2-0) Ron Chuckle (8-2) (CR 17) Rupert Lennox (9-0) (CR 8 ) Sid Morgan (8-1) (CR 16) Tim Oldacres (9-0) (CR 4) Featherweight: Aidan McHugh (7-2) (CR 25) Colm Dee (15-5) (CR 5) Duey Rickert (9-5) Fernando Peragon (13-3) (CR 2) Freddy Lomax (7-0) (CR 15) Gerrit Dudok (9-0) (CR 6) Graeme Rothwell (9-1) (CR 8 ) Grigory Kabalevsky (7-1) (CR 24) Guilherme de Barros (8-0) (CR 9) Hans Christian Bloch (7-1) (CR 14) Heiko Pander (6-2) (CR 19) Henry Zachary (2-0) Ilya Fedorov (7-0) (CR 18) Jason Dalglish (21-5) (CR 1) Jay Dorridge (9-2) (CR 12) Jefferson Mndawe (7-0) (CR 13) Klaus Greis (6-1) (CR 22) Krzysztof Bujnicki (8-0) (CR 10) Kyril Alyabyev (7-2) (CR 23) Liam O'Donnell (9-4) (CR 21) Louie Sullivan (7-0) (CR 17) Manish Khan (11-4) (CR 3) Marco Bernacci (8-2) (CR 7) Nuno Valentino (7-0) (CR 11) Pedro Alves (15-5) (CR 4) Reijiro Yanagimoto (8-2) (CR 20) Roman Danielyan (6-2) Ruben Ericsson (11-6-1) (CR 16) Ryan Fenniman (5-0) Swithens Corcoran (4-0)
  11. STRIKEFIRST: Changing of the Guard December 2001 BREAKING: BCF - McSweegan vs McFadden II Confirmed As The Final BCF Show! In a press conference held early on Monday morning, BCF CEO Charlie Knight sat down with the media to announce that British Cage Fighting was undergoing a rebrand come 2002. The reasoning given? Mounting political pressure. With BCF now putting their Best of the British shows on UKB Digital, several MPs raised concerns at the term "cagefighting" in particular being put on PPV and on a UK broadcaster's streaming service. Deciding to do away with the a name that reflects the earlier, less refined era of the sport to a more sleek name. The new name for BCF will be STRIKEFIRST, with all the BCF lineage and history staying the same, just the belts and branding recieving a name change. The fights will also be held in a new hexagon ring instead of a cage, hoping the new ring will give an air of authenticity to the promotion. Do we see merit in further summaries of the other Mexican promotion's PPVs? Sure, sounds cool 2. The preview for LuchaSlam XXV was spread out over the last few entries - do people prefer to get them all at once or does it work having them doled out in spurts as they are being announced? Personally I don't mind, I prefer one singular post but I'm not too fussed either way.

  15. 5SSW Head Office 7:00am Kobe, Japan After exchanging pleasantries with some of the office workers, I head into Boss Ogiwara's office and prepare for, what's no doubt, going to be a stressful day. Usually, we'd be discussing the success of the show and how to advance going into Dynamo Tag, but of course we can't because of the bullshit that happened last night. Ogiwara: "I'll let you handle most of the talking, since you're far better at diplomacy than me." That's true. Ogiwara doesn't look it, but she is really impatient when it comes to locker room disputes, with how strung Shiori is, we need to navigate this carefully. Karube: "Yeah, I agree. You going to fire Shiori?" Ogiwara: "That depends on her attitude. If she shows enough remorse for what she did, or if she at least is willing to explain herself and apologise, then we can move on after deciding on a punishment." Karube: "Won't that just piss off Yuma though? She's a huge locker room leader, we can't afford to make it look like we've let Jippensha off the hook." Ogiwara: "Maruya will understand. We're lucky, we've never had an incident like this before. The men deal with this kind of shit all the time, if Yuma can't handle it, she's frankly not cut out for this business." Oof. On that note, the secretary let us know that Yuma was here, and Shiori had just arrived. -------- Everyone is here. Maruya, Jippensha, Ogiwara and myself. Ooooooh boy it's awkward. Karube: "Okay, so everyone is here. We all know what happened last night, and we all know that what happened was unacceptable. It was a shitty way to end a great show after one of your best matches together. We're lucky that people haven't caught on that this isn't a work, there's only a few people stating it was real, but that's buried under people who are excited about where this "story" is going. Now, whether this goes off into a programme is up to you two." Jippensha: "You forgetting that a certain someone in this room fucked up my shoulder? That's the second time I've been hurt in a big match by her, that means I can't help pay my bills, all because SOMEONE decided to try a stupid spot in the middle of the match without consulting me!" Maruya: "If I may, Shiori, I'm really sorry about injuring you, I never intended for that to happen and if I knew you'd be so against taking the move I wouldn't have done it. I just thought-" Jippensha: "NO! YOU DIDN'T THINK! YOU-" Karube: "HEY! Inside voices. Now." Shiori bites her lip at my scolding. I nod at Yuma to keep going, she was pretty shaken by her rival's outburst. Maruya: "I had done that spot with Megumi plenty of times, and both of us turned out okay. It was an accident, just like the first time was. I was in the heat of the moment and didn't think about whether it was too late in the match to try something so reckless. I hope you can forgive me." Yuma bows to Shiori, and to be honest, I feel bad for her. She's the one who got attacked and SHE'S apologising? Maruya: "However, what you did to me after the match was unacceptable. I had to stop Kozue from going backstage himself! He's demanding I get a lawyer and persue this, he thinks I have a case." Me and Ogiwara look at each other. Ogiwara speaks up. Ogiwara: "Do you intend to persue, Yuma?" Maruya: "I don't want to. I love 5-Star, I love wrestling, plus it isn't like I have many options in Japan. But I can't just ignore this. You need to be punished for what you did to me." Shiori's eyes widen. I think the realisation of letigation is sinking in. She sits back in her chair, thinking about her next words carefully. Jippensha: "Okay. I'm sorry for slapping you. I was angry, I was frustrated, I felt like you were trying to humilate me in front of everyone. Now that I think about it, my issues aren't REALLY with you. Sure, I don't like you, but after calming down, my issues are with you." Shiori looks directly at me. Karube: "Oh? Is that right?" Jippensha: "Yes. See, I don't have any personal issues with you DEVIL, but to be honest it feels like whenever I start getting momentum, you cut my legs out from under me. You told me the plan was to keep the title until JoshiMania where we'd crown Oonishi. I had prepared and was promoting that match like crazy. But, like always, instead of creating a new star, you hotshot the belt onto Yuma again? She doesn't need it! Hell, I don't mind losing the Yuma, it's the fact that now, Oonishi is left with no real plans going into JM, I was getting momentum and rave reviews and had my reign cut off before it started! It isn't just me either." I raise my eyebrows in shock, I didn't know Shiori was so upset about all this. Karube: "Then why didn't you tell me these feelings instead of bottling them up? Now you have a potential lawsuit on your hands and for all you know, we could be planning on releasing you after today." Jippensha: "You don't wanna do that. People online will flip and it'll not just make me look bad, but 5-Star too." Maruya: "I don't think releasing Shiori will do any good, with all due respect." Ogiwara: "How so?" Maruya: "The fans are behind her. I know my idol stuff really splits the fanbase, but the people who hate it? They've rallied behind her after last night. If this meeting goes well, this could REALLY kick off a great run for the company." We all look at Yuma, kind of shocked she's willing to go to bat for the woman she was threatening to sue. But she's right. I look at my phone and it's been the most buzz 5-Star has had in a while. Ogiwara: "Okay, I think I know how to solve this." We all turn to the boss, hanging on what she's about to say. Ogiwara: "So, both of you have now apologised. That's good, it means no one here is getting fired at least. And, with Yuma herself suggesting a programme between you two, it's up to Shiori if she's comfortable working with her again after her injury." Jippensha: ".....Let me think about it." Ogiwara: "Fair enough." Suddenly, a bolt of lightning flashes in my head. Karube: "Wait! I have a idea!" Karube: "Shiori, you've been unhappy with my booking, that's understandable. I definitely haven't been as open to ideas from talent about their direction. So, I'm willing to change that, if when you've recovered from injury, you can work JoshiMania with Yuma. And this time, we'll make you the hottest heel in the company...." -------- After both stars had left, I take a big sigh of relief. Karube: "Thank god that's over." Ogiwara: "Tell me about it. I have to say, I'm shocked to hear you so willing to compramise on your booking Umeko." Karube: "I mean, we're talking about two of our biggest stars and the potential to give ourselves a lot of momentum going into JoshiMania. As bad as she was last night, we'd be insane not to capitalise on that. We just need to wait until January when she's healed." I give Ogiwara a cheeky smile. Karube: "Plus, if the angle falls flat, it won't be my fault and my way of booking usually will be proven right."
  16. Cheers chief! I like Yuya tbh, but I thought it'd be a smart idea to play into that role, and I felt like at 5SSW, everyone kind of gets along really well so I wanted to add some extra drama XD I've never booked a joshi before, so hopefully everything works out
  17. Oh shit, this is NOT good. That absolutely wasn't supposed to happen, what the hell is she thinking? I leave commentary straight away, told Yuma to act like it was part of an angle and rush to the back. I found Kit Hatoyama as soon as I made it, she looks pretty concerned. Karube: "You seen Shiori?" Kit: "Yeah, she just stormed passed me, she seemed to be heading towards the locker room. She looks really mad. She's never acted like this before." Karube: "I know. I know losing the belt to Maruya upset her, but this is unacceptable. Thanks." I run towards the rocker room and I don't need to do much to find out where Jippensha is, because she's in the midst of kicking a locker in. Jippensha: "AAAAAARGH!!!! I'm so fucking SICK OF HER!!!" Karube: "THAT'S ENOUGH!!!" Shiori shoots daggers at me and walks right up to me. Jippensha: "I did the job to her okay? and she repays me by fucking up my shoulder on that suplex to the apron spot, that SHE INSISTED WE DID! And what the fuck is that shaking the hand shit at the end? Huh? Are you trying to humiliate me?!" Karube: "What the hell are you talking about?! The whole build was you two being respectful rivals, why wouldn't you shake hands afterwards?" Jippensha: "Because I look like a fucking idiot!" Karube: "If you swear at me one more time, you're never being booked here again." Shiori REALLY wants to bite back, but that threat has her at least stop screaming. Thank god, because it was looking like she might get physical with me. Karube: "Okay. I know you're angry at the finish and losing to Yuma again. I understand, you've been the best wrestler in the company and I really didn't mean to disrespect you. I know you're worried about your shoulder too, it looked really rough that landing. But that's no excuse for hitting her! She could sue you Shiori! Deal with this here, in the locker room, not in front of a full crowd like that. You're lucky I told Yuma to treat it like an angle, otherwise that would've been really bad, for YOU." Jippensha: "Like I give a crap. She thinks she's better than everyone else, that good girl idol image she pulls back here is so fake it makes my skin crawl." I sigh and put my head in my hands. She's still furious, but at least I've calmed the situation down a bit. Karube: "Did you speak with the media?" Shiori shakes her head. Karube: "Okay. I'm sure you understand you won't be allowed near the press room. Stay here, I'll tell Kit to get a doctor, and I need to see how Yuma is doing. Tomorrow, you two will be coming to my office first thing in the morning and you WILL apologise. Got it?" Shiori wants to tell me to fuck off, I can tell. But she takes a deep breath and nods. Jippensha: "Can you hurry up with that doctor?" I leave the room to let her calm down fully. I hear from Kit that Yuma is apparently scared to go to the locker room after what happened and is with HEART Saitoh & Gemmei Oonishi right now and is really distraught. Boss Ogiwara sees me and I go up to her, she's just off the phone with someone. Karube: "Bad time?" Ogiwara: "Oh it was just Kawashima losing the rag at me at seeing his wife get assaulted live, no big deal!" Fair enough. I give her the run down on what happened in my chat with Shiori, and my plan to sit them down in a meeting tomorrow and sort this out. Ogiwara: "Okay. I'll be attending too. I am the owner after all, this is my responsibility to deal with it too. I suppose we treat this as a work to the press?" Karube: "Yeah, that's what I was thinking." Ogiwara: "Good. I need to go to the press conference, give me an update and I'll see you tomorrow for this meeting." Ogiwara goes off, and I sit down and dake a big deep breath. Karube: "Fuck."
  18. Japan Slam October 2019 5SSW World Title Shiori Jippensha (C) vs Yuma Maruya The Split-Legged Moonsault! Maruya hits it! 1! 2! 3!!! We have a new champion!!! Yuma Maruya is a 6 time 5SSW World Champion! The crowd applaud the incredible match they've just seen, as Yuma is tearing up in the middle of the ring. On commentary, Kuniyoshi Chishu, Katsuhiko Shunsen and DEVIL Karube all put over how amazing Maruya is and how much spirit she has to keep fighting back despite all Jippensha's submissions. Shiori is just starting to come to, it's all sinking in that she has lost the World title to her #1 rival, once again. Yuma poses on the turnbuckles with her title, she now has the record of the joint-2nd most World title wins in 5-Star history, tieing Crusher Ichihara's 6 World titles. You wouldn't know it though, as Yuma celebrates the title win like it's her first! Calming down, Maruya grabs a mic and prepares for her post-show speech. Maruya: "Thank you everyone. First of all, I just want to thank you all for coming out tonight, without you all none of what we do would be possible." The crowd applaud as Yuma bows to them all. Maruya: "Secondly, I want to thank my rival Shiori Jippensha for the war we just had. She's a wonderful competitor and an even better champion, and that won't be the last time we compete against each other. I'd like to ask Shiori to come and shake my hand." The crowd cheer as the camera cuts to Jippensha, who's halfway up the ramp and looks upset, rightfully so after losing the title. She makes the right decision, entering the ring and staring down Yuma, who has her hand outstretched. Shiori looks at her hand, then at Yuma. She goes in for the handshake.... OH! Jippensha slaps Maruya! The slap was so hard it knocked Yuma down, but Shiori storms to the back, not even paying attention to the crowd's boos at her disrespect to someone who she has previously shown vast amounts of respect to!
  19. I LOVE the Thunderverse, although I'm not too familiar with the big companies in Japan because I mainly book in Europe, so I'm really interested to see how this goes! Good luck chief
  20. Hey, I was wondering if anyone has any advice on booking touring promotions? I've just started a QUEST save from the 70s CVerse mod, and I'm not really sure what'd be the best way to go about it. A lot of my TEW saves previously have been small monthly shows, so this is pretty new to me. Thank you!
  21. Double Charge Hello, I've purchased WMMA5 from the greydog store, but now E-License is asking for me card details and customer information. Am I going to get double-charged for this? If so, how do I solve this? I know there's been answers for people who've already double purchased, but if there's a way to solve it before it gets to that stage, that'd be great appreciated
