A simplistic kind of match while the commentators are putting their storylines over instead of focusing on the in ring content. This is most TV matches in WWE with run ins and storyline advancement taking the place of "classic" matches.</p><p> </p><p> That was the explanation I got when the game came out, I don't know if it's changed or if we have more information but I'm pretty sure that's what it looks like.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Yeah! That does make a little more sense.</p>

My product also prioritizes performance over popularity. Performances that is dinged by holding back for a storytelling aim.</p><p> </p><p> So basically, the fans are demanding matches they won't like. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/confused.png.d4a8e6b6eab0c67698b911fb041c0ed1.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> You're greatly overreacting to what Storytelling matches do. I'm running TCW in the Cornellverse and have no issues. Only one match on the card really matters, the main event, and the second best match sorta matters? You can do anything you want to in the undercard and it means almost nothing. </p><p> </p><p> I think the term "Storytelling" for a match aim is way off. I read some guy on here sum it up perfectly when he said it was like Billy Gunn vs Ken Shamrock at KOTR 99, but I think that's a little too hard to grasp in a game without context. </p><p> </p><p> Think of the match aim as like a mini calm the crowd. It pumps the brakes on the crowd, instead of slamming on the brakes. </p><p> </p><p> A lot of the times I use the match aim as my match after the opener. But I have also used it as Storytelling/Co-Main/Main and it hasn't burnt the crowd out. I think you're really overthinking it. It's not that damaging to match ratings, or performance, and you could get by without putting any effort into it at all.</p>

Failed turns are very rare. </p><p> </p><p> Negative chemistry cannot change or improve. What you're remembering reading is that tag team experience eventually cancels out negative chemistry at, I think C-, which could take like 1 or 2 years to even get if I do the math. However, this is a little misleading since the tag team still gets dinged for low chemistry, meaning that had they had no/good chemistry the segments would be even better.</p>

The penalty is pretty small. </p><p> </p><p> By the way, if you're playing the mod that Lucas made, you should start your save over because Vince McMahon is set to be an exclusive authority figure and you can't book him in any matches, so I'm assuming that your Mania plans are not going to happen. Or you could just do what I did and duplicate Vince, change his stat to allow him to wrestle, import him into your game, sign him, change his contract to 10 years, and use the duplicate Vince in angles and matches from now on. Don't know why someone made the decision to not have him work matches, but there you go.</p>

  12. I think only at a certain point this is true in real life. The WWF at its height in 2000 ran some smaller venues, and the Georgia Dome, but mostly it was the same sized arenas for all their Raws and PPVs. But in TEW the separation between 20,000 and 40,000 events isn't too far off.

  15. That's not an option. That would mean that all those angles are set to default if it immediately shows all of them. You could change it by going to book an angle, then pressing edit defaults.

  18. Is it worth pushing Next Big Things in a big company if they are young and completely suck (low top row stats, horrible entertainment, no star quality)?
  19. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="kdcastles" data-cite="kdcastles" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41194" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Is there a way to turn the crowd management feature on mid-save? I saw a lot of WIP's in the Mod Index thread but I guess that isn't completely accurate. Thanks a lot for that guys.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Yep, there's a lot of really good ones. I would suggest downloading them all and scoping them out, then playing one or two really short games with them, finding little things you don't like about them, and fine tuning the mods yourself. But create a backup of the mod first. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Every mod has its own quirks that I find weird. For example, in the great 2001 New Blood mod, Vince is contracted to only work as an authority figure, so you can't put him in matches. No Vince vs Shane at Mania I guess. I didn't want to abandon that save so I ended up making a duplicate of Vince and importing him into my game...</p><p> </p><p> I also think that a lot of mods are very stingy with Star Quality, so I raise everyone's stats a little bit. </p><p> </p><p> I also hate how many relationships there are in every mod. A lot of them just make no sense, and weren't even worth the time putting them in the game. There's one current day mod where CM Punk hates Kurt Angle, which is news to me. So I end up going into the mod, filtering the relationship types one by one, and going through and deleting most of them. If they don't affect the game in any way, or not extremely well known in the industry, they're gone.</p>

But like I said, I haven't tested it.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> You can't.</p><p> </p><p> You might as well just do the match, then make an angle where they "lose" them.</p>
  22. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="vbase" data-cite="vbase" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41194" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>No news regarding that. No radio interviews or anything. Plus, I always thought those interviews didn't mean anything?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> They do mean something. The guy made a mistake when he said to search the news-- that stuff isn't searchable. You kinda have to just chance upon it. </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="MainOffender" data-cite="MainOffender" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41194" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Yeah, bad tag chemistry in particular can eventually be canceled out by tag experience.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I feel like tag chemistry is the best to overcome just because of the way tag matches are graded. It's so much easier to get a good tag match than a good singles.</p>
  23. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="vbase" data-cite="vbase" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41194" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>One of my workers always has 90-95 individual performance in every match, rarely he does 100 or more but most of the times he is at 90-95. I know he is a great worker and capable of 100s.<p> </p><p> The problem I saw was that he was penalized for chemistry/motivation. However, he has an extremely happy morale, he doesn't have any negatives in his morale, he is in the main event and holding a title. Neither does he have bad chemistry with any of the workers. </p><p> </p><p> Does anyone know what it can be?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> It's related to destiny stuff. There's a wide variety of different scenarios where this happens.</p>
