[I]Note: This is going to be a diary which features both Cornellverse wrestlers as well as "Real World" wrestlers. And no, i'm not talking about the MTV show either :)[/I] [LEFT]The end of an era... After two long years of fighting just to stay afloat, Angel Athletic Association closed its doors for good. The lack of television exposure and a couple of bad decisions put the nail in the coffin. Babes Of Sin City was the only "all-female" promotion that served as an alternative for the newly unemployed wrestlers.. and that didn't set too well with people. The bigger "male dominated" promotions weren't interested in giving the females an actual chance at displaying their talents other than on a T & A level. Finally, after not being able to take it anymore. Two females stepped up to take a stand against it all. Those women were - Cherry Bomb and Wanda Fish.. quite possibly the biggest rivalry in AAA's history came together. Together, they created "A New Breed" so to speak. While keeping AAA in mind, they wanted a more fitting name. Something that shows that while they can do the "T & A" thing, they're also just as hard hitting as their male counterparts. Farrah Hesketh already agreed to handle the "creative aspects" of this promotion. Anne Stardust is also sitting on an offer to run it. [COLOR=Magenta][I][B]Wanda Fish[/B][/I][/COLOR]: Anne Stardust? As in the female who sold AAA to Kate Avatar.. who then ran AAA straight into the ground? Yeah, that's a good idea. [COLOR=Red][I][B]Cherry Bomb[/B][/I][/COLOR]: So she sold a promotion.. when she was the power behind it, she did a hell of a job! Plus, it's our money.. we'll have say in it too. We'll help wherever we could, but obviously Anne knows what she's doing. [COLOR=Magenta][I][B]Wanda Fish[/B][/I][/COLOR]: So basically, we're paying somebody to run a company that we're investing in? Poor Nadia Snow didn't know what to do with Krissy. You name it - from hair pulling.. to requesting time out's to fix her hair - Krissy Vaine pulled out all the stops. Action-wise, it was average. I think the two are capable of alot more.. but the crowd seemed dead the entire night.. so that could be the reason. Lacey defeated Nadia Snow in 7:31 with a German Suplex pin. [COLOR=Magenta][B] Rating[/B][/COLOR]: D- -------------------- [I][B] Beth Phoenix[/B] is walking backstage when the ultra imposing [B]Gorgon[/B] steps up to her. Showing she's not intimidated, Beth gets right back in Gorgon's face. This was about as hard hitting and power-based as you'd expect. Beth Phoenix, while shorter than Gorgon, absolutely did not back down and actually over-powered Gorgon at times. Emma Bitch found herself to be more of a "third wheel" so to speak as the majority of the match, Beth and Gorgon went at it. Eventually, the match came to an end at 9:57 when Gorgon plants Emma Bitch with the Hydra Bomb. The already established Cherry Bomb did pretty much as was expected - stiff strikes, crisp chain wrestling, and some innovative submissions. Unsuprisingly, to me at least, Sara Del Ray was able to take all of what Cherry Bomb had.. and then gave out some punishment of her own - oftentimes overwhelming Cherry Bomb with her power! After a series of stiff strikes, the match poured to the outside of the and stayed there causing the double countout at 11:45 After the match, several officials came out and had to seperate the two as they were still going at it! [COLOR=Magenta][B] Rating[/B][/COLOR]: D+ ---------------------- [I][B] Lacey[/B] and [B]April Hunter[/B] make their way out to the ring before their match is scheduled to start. They're actually color coordinated.. both wearing bright pink attire. As did Lacey and April Hunter. If Lacey and April Hunter didn't have such overwhelming personalities, i'd say they'd make a good team. All four women worked their asses off. Daizee Haze, as usual, was her explosive firecracker self. Lacey, much like Krissy Vaine earlier, heeled it up pretty well. Joanne Rodriguez was well, Joanne Rodriguez.. and April Hunter sure as hell impressed me. After a series of hot tags and good, crisp action.. Joanne Rodriguez secures the win for her team by pinning April Hunter in 13:44 with the J Rocker. Their wrestling was on point.. but their mannerisms and playing to the crowd as well as they did really what made them stand out to me.[/LIST][LIST] [*]Networks are scheduling. I'm already in talks with a few networks. They seem pretty interested in carrying our show, so it's just a matter of everyone on the roster pouring their heart and soul into their wrestling to show these networks why we deserve to be seen![/LIST][LIST] [*]Financially, we lost a couple grand. Meh, whatever. We're pretty solid in our finances right now.. If we keep losing money a couple months down the road, then i'll be concerned.. but right now, we're still trying to grab up new fans and get our product out there.[/LIST][LIST] [*]Gail Kim and I had a talk. She was pretty upset at her performance the other night.. I told her not to worry about it. We then had a rather impromtu workout session in which I gave her a few pointers. Damian Carvill.. who most of you know as "The Natural" was there visiting with Catherine even came out and worked out with her some. I suggested that she stick to her ground work.. and leave the high spots for those "big matches" as it'd mean more. Whether she takes my advice or not, I don't know.[/LIST][LIST] [*]Cherry Bomb and Sara Del Ray had a pretty solid match. They're pretty evenly matched seeing as how both are smashmouth, in your face style wrestlers. Cherry waits until Sara is within a couple of week away.. and then as animated as ever, stands in front of Beth and Daizee with her hands spread wide apart.[/I] [COLOR=Red][B]Cherry Bomb[/B][/COLOR]: CAUTION EVERYONE! WIDE LOAD COMING THROUGH!! [I]All three females laugh.. until Sara Del Ray walks up and stands nose to nose with Cherry Bomb. Daizee and Beth slowly back away leaving Cherry with Sara.[/I] [COLOR=DarkGreen][B]Sara Del Ray[/B][/COLOR]: Wide load? Clever. Did you just think that one up? Yeah? Talk about disappointing. Seeing as how these two females are world class athletes, you'd expect at least a half-decent match. This match was a train-wreck from start to finish. These two do NOT mesh well together AT ALL and it made for one hell of an awkward bout. Gorgon used her obvious size and strength to her advantage.. often toying with Daizee and throwing her around. This match is probably what April Hunter vs Joanne Rodriguez should've been! It was quite entertaining watching these two go at it. It seemed as if they were basically mirror images in terms of wrestling style. Tons of hard hitting action here! After what seemed to be a never-ending series of false finishes, Sara Del Ray defeats Cherry Bomb with a Tiger Suplex in 10:57.[/I] [COLOR=Red][B]Rating[/B][/COLOR]: C+ [CENTER] --------------------[/CENTER] [I][B]Krissy Vaine[/B] is shown backstage, where officials have just found her bloody and battered, the apparent victim of a sneak attack. All three women worked their asses off and the end result was a match that had the crowd on the edge of their seat and on their feet after the match ended! Every time Catherine would try and take it to the air, Gail would find a way to ground her. Really impressive from these two. From there, non-stop action at its finest. Catherine Quine looked as if she had the match won when that same "Unidentified Female" makes presence felt. She hops up on the apron, grabbing the ref's attention which brings Catherine over to confront her. Meanwhile, Kristabel Plum musters up enough strength to catch an unsuspecting Catherine with the Plum Tucker for the pinfall victory in 7:41[/I] [/LEFT] [COLOR=Magenta][B]Rating[/B][/COLOR]: C [CENTER] --------------------[/CENTER] [I]After the match, this unknown female goes on to attack Catherine with a barrage of lefts and rights. This female continues to pound on Catherine however it appears as though Catherine is holding back in fighting this woman. The referee warned Sara of her actions, giving Wanda just enough time to recover and suprise Sara with a double leg takedown into a bridge combination pin for the victory at 11:45! It's pretty obvious to see why these four women advanced in the tournament. Plenty of hard hitting action. An entertaining sequence saw Cherry Bomb and Lacey attempt to out-heel each other. Cherry Bomb gave Lacey a thumb to the eye which caused Lacey to scream bloody murder.. uncharacteristically drawing Cherry Bomb to check on Lacey.. but ends up getting a thumb to the eye for her troubles. From there, it was an all out war. Neither team being truly comfortable with each other made for an interesting dynamic. Gail Kim had the match won after nailing a top rope hurrancanrana onto Daizee Haze.. however Cherry Bomb tagged Gail Kim without Gail noticing. Cherry then tossed Gail Kim over the top rope, picked up a fallen Daizee Haze and hit the Cherry Popper for the victory at 12:56[/I] [COLOR=Magenta][B] Rating[/B][/COLOR]: C+

Heh, I knew you'd appreciate and pick up on that little segment. It's killing me that I don't have a TV deal. It feels awkward running storylines on "PPV" events. What I could accomplish in about one or two months with a tv show.. it takes me like 5 or 6 with these events. But, I must stay true to the diary.. soon enough!

We have Catherine Quine getting attacked every show.. and Catherine not doing a damned thing about it. What kind of hold does this woman have over Catherine?[/LIST][LIST] [*]Let's not forget this woman dressed in black attacking randomly? Krissy Vaine, Lacey, Suzanne Brazzle, and NOW Nadia Snow? The Queen Of The Ring tournament is really bringing out the best (or, in Cherry's case the worst) in these wrestlers. It seems as though that was the little fire that I needed to light under these athletes to bring out their full potential.[/LIST][LIST] [*]March saw our Pay Per View debut! I think it's pretty obvious that two PPV's a month isn't going to cut it with our fans. Our buyrate for the second show last month was pretty much HALF of what we had just two weeks prior! Regardless though, it was a success financially. Rather than losing money, we actually made a $122,000 profit! However, there are a couple of wrestlers I have now, who are in serious danger of being replaced. Matter of fact, you can consider them replaced as i've been in talks in several talents.
