Beth slides out of the ring.. but both April and Sara slide out, on each side, and corner Beth who slides back in - literally playing a game of cat and mouse. Finally, they get their hands on a fresh Beth Phoenix and beat the absolute bejebus out of her before going back to each other. This was a really, really fast paced match with both individuals looking great. Plenty of flying headscissors, mexican armdrags and top rope manuevers here. Suprisingly, Gail didn't botch any high spots which really lifted the match quality. Ending of the match saw Catherine duck a Moonsault attempt by Gail who countered by landing on her feet. Catherine went to clothesline Gail, but Gail ducked.. bounced off the ropes and locked in that impressive looking Octopus stretch for the submission victory in 11:47.[/I] [COLOR=Magenta][B]Rating[/B][/COLOR]: C+ [/COLOR][/SIZE][CENTER] -------------------- [/CENTER] [SIZE=2][COLOR=Black][I]After the match, Catherine gets to her feet receiving a standing ovation from the crowd and rightfully so. Apparently, they begin to argue as you can hear Catherine saying "Why are you doing this?" Rather than another beatdown, JD just turns around and walks away.. [/I] (Um.. what?) She quickly reaches into her top and pulls out what appears to be a sanitary wipe [/I]([U]Who keeps sanitary wipes in their top?![/U])[I] and wipes off her shoulder. She screams at Wanda warning her that there better not be any bruises. From there Lacey charges in the ring only to get met with a Superkick. As you know, Emma Bitch, Nadia Snow and Vixxen were released from their contracts earlier in the week. Emma Bitch and Nadia Snow have a TON of potential and are really young, so who knows.. in a couple of years, you could very well see them back on UFC shows. As far as Vixxen is concerned, I couldn't find any use for her. She never appeared on a show.. and she had the nerve to be angry about the amount of shows she hasn't been appearing on. So, I did the only logical thing - I fired her :)[/LIST][LIST] [*]It seems we have a steady fanbase buying our PPV's. It can only go up from here. We might not have a TV deal, but PPV's are fine by me. Cherry Bomb nailed a trifecta of Tazz-like Capture suplexes and then topping it off with a straight lariat which only got her a two count. Growing frustrated, Cherry Bomb argues with the referee which nearly causes her the match as Joanne attempted to roll up Cherry for a two count. After what seemed like a never-ending sequence of near-falls, Gail Kim picks up the win at the 14:55 mark after that mysterious woman dressed in all black with a mask comes out and FLOORS Wanda Fish with a kendo stick shot while Gail Kim was distracting the referee! After an extended beatdown, Lacey and Krissy Vaine held each of the masked woman's arms while Suzanne held her feet leaving the woman open to attack. Hah hell yes Victoria, Gail Kim, Joanne Rodriguez, Wanda Fish and Suzanne Brazzle are burning a hole in my pocket. Just those 5 right there is about 6 or $7,000 together. Luckily, i'm getting some good cash from sponsors, ticket sales, and espescially ppv revenue! I wouldn't change anything though. Victoria is my favorite female wrestler right now even though she hasn't been used at all lately.. which is a shame, she can wrestle when given the chance! I'd love to see her get a run in Shimmer. Lacey is quickly becoming my favorite entertainer in this company. The addition of Krissy Vaine at ringside seemed to bring out the worst in Lacey as the two played off of each other quite well. Daizee Haze absolutely smothered Lacey with her offense. After what seemed like a never-ending barrage of offense from Daizee, Lacey rolled out of the ring where she was consoled by Krissy. Lacey demanded a timeout as Krissy fixed her hair and touched up Lacey's makeup. Typical Lacey and Krissy behaviour. Lacey eventually made her way back into the ring where she was once again punished by Daizee who was absolutely tearing Lacey a new one. The ending of this great match came when Lacey faked an injury, causing the referee to turn his attention to her. Krissy then hopped up on the apron, drawing Daizee in only to get sprayed in the face with what appeared to be perfume. This match had all of the intensity and psychology as you'd expect from these two females. Wanda and Joanne duked it out at the beginning of this match.. each woman reversing the others moves. From there, the match turned into your classic back and forth match with each woman slowing the other down as soon as they began to build up some steam. Soon, the match spilled to the outside where Joanne and Wanda duked it out some more. Joanne slipped back in the ring.. but as Wanda attempted to, unseen by the referee, Victoria comes out of nowhere and LEVELS Wanda Fish with a kendo stick shot leaving Wanda Fish knocked out cold. Joanne, not realizing what happened, picks up the fallen Wanda and hits the J.Rocker for the pinfall victory in 12:34 becoming the first ever UFC Television Champion.[/I] [COLOR=Magenta][B]Rating[/B][/COLOR]: C [CENTER][COLOR=Magenta] --------------------[/COLOR][/CENTER] [I]After the match, Victoria hovers over the fallen Wanda Fish with a microphone in hand.[/I] [COLOR=DarkSlateGray][B]Victoria[/B][/COLOR]: How does that feel? These two gelled perfectly together. Cherry Bomb with her smashmouth style of wrestling and Gail with her hybrid of crisp technical and high flying wrestling. Gail Kim completely dominated the beginning of the match, running circles around Cherry Bomb literally. Gail spent the majority of the match flying around the ring until she went to the well one too many times and jumped right into a Capture Suplex from Cherry Bomb. From there, it was pretty much all Cherry. Absolutely suplexing the hell out of Gail Kim. Cherry Bomb looked like she had the match in the bag hoisting Gail on her shoulders in a fireman's carry position. Somehow, Gail reversed it into a tornado ddt. However, as Gail was performing the Tornado DDT, her feet hit Referee Jay Fair knocking him out. As if waiting for the right moment, [/I][B]Nene Ebina[/B][I] (!) runs out and chokes out Gail Kim. The crowd, now realizing why Cherry Bomb was so confident the past couple of weeks express their disapproval of her actions. Nene drags Cherry on top of Gail and exits the ring as the referee comes to. Joanne Rodriguez captured the UFC Television Title after defeating Wanda Fish in a hard fought but controversial match.[/LIST][LIST] [*]Speaking of controversial.. how about some of the debut's we've had? Victoria coming out and attacking nearly every blonde on the roster? Claiming she had to fight for her spot because she wasn't blonde.[/LIST][LIST] [*]How about Jaime Quine? Catherine's own sister attacking her on several occasions. Or what about Nene Ebina seemingly helping out Cherry Bomb in her match against Gail Kim![/LIST][LIST] [*]Our Pay Per View contract with American Option expired this month. We've begun negotiations with both Pay Per View and Television networks to hopefully get our product out there more! I'm feeling pretty good with these negotiations..[/LIST][LIST] [*]I'm getting pretty close to releasing a couple of females. I guess their abilities weren't what I thought they were when I actually signed them to contracts.
