Bwaha. Take two workers everyone hates (despises, in Martin's case), saddle them with a gimmick everyone hates. All that can come of this is pure gold. And they haven't even wrestled yet.

Already the new pairing has caused a bit of a stir amongst ROF fans, although not necessarily for the right reasons. Justin Blackham was sent off to find out more.[/FONT] [B]JB: So…Reborn Romeos, huh?[/B] CV: You better believe it. [B]JB: You think this gimmick is going to take off in ROF?[/B] CV: What gimmick? We’re two incredibly handsome guys who are taking a second chance in ROF to make a name for ourselves. There’s nothing gimmicky about it. [B]JB: You’ve both got a fair bit of talent, but I can’t believe that the crowds are going to be on your side.[/B] CV: The ladies love us, Blackham. [B]JB: But are you forgetting that about 99% of the ROF crowd is male? And certainly those that frequent our fans forum online have been less than complimentary about you so far.[/B] CV: Listen, the ladies all watch on their television at home. They can’t go with their husbands to the shows and cheer for the Reborn Romeos because they know it’ll make their ugly partners feel insignificant and second rate. So they watch at home where they can drool in privacy and swoon without fear of repercussions. And as for the men – well, when they see what the Romeos can produce in their ring, they’ll be happy enough too. [B]JB: You’re awfully quiet, Lance.[/B] [I]LM: My job’s looking good. If I talk, I don’t look so good. So I don’t talk.[/I] [B]JB: So what is your aim? The tag titles as soon as possible?[/B] CV: We’re under no illusions. The tag team scene here is tough. There are some really established teams like Warriors of Honour, Can-Am SAS and High & Low. And the Red Mafia team is just awesome. But we have something these other teams don’t have? Isn’t that right, Lance? [I]LM: Yeah, absolutely. What exactly?[/I] CV: We have togetherness. Chemistry. We look unbelievably good. We have real wrestling talent. And we’re still young and getting better all the time. There’s no other team in ROF that can claim to have all those things going for them. [B]JB: Lance, you’ve been in a tag team for many years with your brother Kelly. Won’t it feel strange being in this new combination?[/B] [I]LM: Well, yeah. It does a bit.[/I] [B]JB: Can you elaborate?[/B] [I]LM: Come again?[/I] [B]JB: Can you explain a bit more?[/B] [I]LM: Well…it's weird. When I was in the locker room before, I’d get a bit confused because I wasn’t quite sure if I was looking in a mirror, or just into space where Kelly happened to be. I don’t have that problem with Casey, you see. It's probably the dark hair.[/I] [B]JB: Right.[/B] CV: Can we get back to the point, Blackham. The Reborn Romeos are adding a breath of fresh air to the tag division. Yes, there are some good teams here, but there are also opportunities to be had. And we’re ready to take those opportunities. [B]JB: Even if it means alienating the audience?[/B] CV: We don’t care if the men in the crowd hate us at this moment in time. After all, jealousy is a sad thing but I guess it can’t be helped. They’ll learn to appreciate us when they see that we can go in the ring and hold up our end of each match. And as your ladies will already tell you, boys – the Reborn Romeos can always keep their end up.

Since then he has defended successfully against Kevin Jones, Nigel Svensson and Chris Lister. Since that match, Manico beat UK Dragon on Cauldron and has had other good results – which have meant that he is ahead of Morgan in the rankings. JD sees this as an anomaly – he beat Manico, but is behind him in the rankings. UK Dragon has been there and done it in ROF, winning 2 ROF Championships. However he has been out of contention lately as his Japanese tours have taken their toll. This month he’s fresh though but has a tough opponent in Billy Robinson, who remains undefeated in singles action since his return from injury earlier in the year. Jones will go out first, then Matravers will eliminate Barnes with a roll-up, Svensson will be last to go.[/I] JD Morgan vs [B]Louis Figo Manico[/B] [I]The Fig, gets his win over back over 'The Dean'. I've got a feeling that he'll also work his way towards a title shot eventually.[/I] ROF Tag Titles 4-way Elimination [B]Red Mafia ©[/B] vs Can-Am SAS vs Pure Quality vs Warriors of Honour [I]Red Mafia are looking dominant right now. I think the least experienced pairing Pure Quality will go out first, then Can-Am SAS, and then the Warriors. The Warriors second place finish will then put them in the prime position to get a one on one encounter with Red Mafia on the next PPV.[/I] Billy Robinson vs [B]UK Dragon[/B] [I]Difficult one, as I don't really want to see UK Dragon slide anymore than he has, but then again Robinson is on a hot streak, and it'll be a shame to see his gradual push become de-railed. Mind you getting your streak ended by Dragon is no bad thing, and I have this inkling that he's not quite ready to break in to the upper echelon quite yet[/I]. ROF Championship 4-way Elimination Walter Morgan © vs Don Henderson vs Jack Giedroyc vs [B]Merle O’Curle[/B] [I]Morgan's valiant run with the belt comes to an end, but I think it'll be Merle O'Curle who will end the run, as the ROF 'Icon' returns to the top of the tree. As for the other eliminations I think Giedroyc will go out before Henderson, as 'McLugar' continues to gradually be built up as a legitimate main even threat.[/I]

I'd go back and change my entries where I've mentioned him as 'Portuguese' but it seems more hassle than it's worth. I shall try to remember he's Spanish in future! :D Any more predictions? How confusing![/QUOTE] Get a game far enough in, you'll see other companies spring up. BPW's one of them - check the New Promotions section of the database. As for deals, it's one of the possible relationships you can enter with another company. Working Relationships allow talent exchanges, developmental deals are obvious, war is obvious... I think there are others, but I forget what they are and what they do.

How confusing![/QUOTE] It's not me that's signed a deal with BPW - it's Justin Blackham (my ROF announcing colleague). He does that blog section. BPW started up well into the game and are owned by Jeff Nova - they're a sports entertainment fed. Apart from Blackham, they also have my ref Humphrey Woolsey on the books, as well as Jonni Lowlife and Glen Ward (Dan Judoka). I've not got any kind of relationship with them. I thought they'd probably cause themselves enough problems without me having to go to war with them! :D
