WWF vs. WCW: The War Begins

Recommended Posts

Just read this in full and WOW! THIS IS COOL! IRL at this time I was loyal to Vince being from New England but I'M JUMPING SHIP!!!! Screw Schiavone he sucks could never stand him. Where's Russell at? :) He should be respected. Never played the MOD though so I dunno. I always liked Animal better then Hawk, but I was hoping for a singles push for Hawk as he seemed to be a ratings gem. Now that Animal is back though I see tag gold sooner rather then later. Road Warriors vs Vader & Sid would be HUGE too! and I will leave with this note - PUSH DAVEY BOY!!!!!!! Keep it up you 2 great work!
Man your match ratings are blowing hard despite what should be some good solid bouts!
I'm hoping that bringing in a new announcer will fix that situation. I read up in the discussion board that announcing and respect are what dictates announcers, and Schiavone's respect is horrible. So look for either Bob Caudle or Scott Hudson to start announcing pretty soon until Schiavone can build up his respect stat.

The crowd is buzzing with excitement, because they will see WWF Superstars and WWF In Your House in the same night. Vince McMahon Welcome ladies and gentleman to WWF Superstars! We are at The Carrier Dome in Syracuse, New York tonight. Tonight you will see Shawn Michaels take on Lex Luger to move on to the finals of the #1 Contender Tournament for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship. The big attraction for this show is a contract signing for a match between Yokozuna and Bret "Hitman" Hart for a match to culminate next month on Pay-Per-View. That match would be for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship. What are your thoughts on tonight, Jerry? Jerry "The King" Lawler Tonight should be very exciting, Vince, and I will tell you why! Tonight we get to see Bret "Hitman" Hart sign his signature to his death wish. But the fun doesn't stop there, because we also get to see Shawn Michaels take care of that loser, Lex Luger. I am very excited, Vince, so lets get this show on the road! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Shawn Michaels is standing in front of a camera looking his best. He is probably going to cut a promo on his match tonight against Lex Luger. "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels You ready, Lex Luger? Are you ready to take the beating of your life? Are you ready to be made a fool by "The Heartbreak Kid"? Another question I should ask is how does your face feel. So how does it, big guy? Probably as bad as it will tonight. You are just a warm-up match for the finals of this tournament, Lex. I should be aiming this promo towards The Undertaker or "Macho Man" Randy Savage, but you started a war of words, Luger. Well tonight I'm going to end this war with a switch kick to you jaw! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "El Matador" Tito Santana vs. "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase This was a great technical showcase between two weathered competitors. Both these aren't the youngest men in the sport of professional wrestling that's for sure, but they can still go. Ted DiBiase, being the better technical wrestler, kept Santana from doing his flying antics. "El Matador" did give "The Million Dollar Man" a run for his money, though. Ted DiBiase dominated the latter portion of the match, which turned out to decide the match. Ted DiBiase won via submission with a Million Dollar Dream. You think you can do whatever you want and whenever? Well let me remind you of something, chico, I'm the WWF Intercontinental Champion! I'm the one who has what you want! You think you have what it takes to be the best, well think again. That is why later tonight on WWF In Your House it will be me and Yokozuna going against you and Bret "Hitman" Hart. Then you can prove if you really deserve this title. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Quebecers, led by Johnny Polo, are backstage. We are the ones who later tonight, on WWF In Your House, will beat The Steiner Brothers' faces in. Our WWF World Tag Team Championship will be on the line, but we don't really care right, Pierre? Pierre That is correct, my Canadian friend! We know that we won't be losing the titles because we are much better than The Steiner Brothers. Think about it, we are better looking, we are better wrestlers, and we are Canadian. The Steiner Brothers stand no chance against us. We will walk out tonight sill the WWF World Tag Champions. Mr. Perfect and Rick Martel are veterans and knew the move the next guy was going to make. Rick Martel put in a lot of effort in this match, but so did Mr. Perfect. Mr. Perfect is a better wrestler than Martel, but that is the case with anyone. Mr. Perfect could out-wrestle anyone in the World Wrestling Federation, and this match was no exception. Mr. Perfect won the match with a Perfect Plex and the three count. You have had your time, Randy Savage, and it is time for it to end. You will face all that I have with me and behind me. I will make you see what it is like to be dead, "Macho Man". You will never be able to climb that top-rope anymore because what I will do to you will keep to closer to the ground, closer to your grave. This show was full of great matches, all showcases some great talents. This match had a good mixture of power, flying, and technical abilities. Lex Luger brought a lot of power to the match and "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels brought the flying and the technical. They had good chemistry and it got the crowd way into it and the crowd was loud the whole match. Lex Luger dominated the match until Shawn Michaels and the ref got into an argument. Lex Luger then turned around... Ted DiBiase ran down the entrance ramp and got up on the ring apron. The referees back was turned and he couldn't see him. Luger threw a punch at DiBiase to try and knock him off the apron, but "The Million Dollar Man" ducked and snapped Lex's neck down on the top-rope. The groggy Luger turned around and was met with a Switch Chin Music and the eventual three count. There is a contract in the middle of the table. That contract will make the match for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship. Mr. Fuji I stand here in the middle of the ring and I ask Bret Hart to come out here so we can sign the contract that will give him a shot at the WWF World Heavyweight Chamionship. On Raw it was uncalled for what Yokozuna and Razor Ramon did to you, Hart. I apologize on my clients behalf and would like to shake you hand when you get out here. Hart walks down the ramp with a sea of cheers following him to the ring. He hops in and stares right at Yokozuna. His eyes never leave Yokozuna's face. Yokozuna goes to attack Bret Hart, but Mr. Fuji stops him. Mr. Fuji shows Hart to his seat and then Yokozuna sits down. Yokozuna takes the contract and looks at it. Yokozuna then takes the pen and signs his name and then throws it over to "Hitman". Bret Hart reads the thing through and then takes the pen and is about to sign. Mr. Fuji then taps Bret Hart on the shoulder and "Hitman" stands up frustratingly. He turns around and is met with a hand full of powder to the eyes. Yokozuna beats him down and puts him on the table. Yokzouna then jumps up as high as he can and comes down on top of "Hitman" with a Banzai Drop. Yokozuna stands over Bret Hart in the pile of rubble to end the show. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Show Rating: B+ Television Rating: 33.88

Yokozuna and Razor Ramon vs. Bret "The Hitman" Hart Bret will get his revenge though he always does. "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker or "Macho Man" Randy Savage I expect some outside interferance in this one. For the WWF World Tag Team Championship The Quebecers (C) vs. The Steiner Brothers Johnny Polo helps them retain "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase vs. Lex Luger I like the push Lugar is getting. And it's about time for DiBiase to become a manager. Savage stood up to The Undertaker like no one else has before. He gave The Undertaker a nonstop aerial assault that the big man couldn't do anything about. The Undertaker did get control and started to pound away at Savage. He started to slam "Macho Man" into the turnbuckle repetitively until Savage became incoherent. The Undertaker tried to finish it off with a Tombstone Piledriver, but "Macho Man" reversed it. They are probably here to get some vocal retaliation against Bret "Hitman" Hart and Mr. Perfect. Mr. Fuji starts us out with his voice on behalf of the WWF World Heavyweight Champion, Yokozuna. Mr. Fuji Tonight isn't about titles or belts, tonight is about redemption, it is about pain. And by the looks of it, Bret Hart and Mr. Perfect are going to be taking the grunt of the pain that is dished out. Yokozuna, a behemoth...Razor Ramon, a machine! How are you suppose to take both of these guys on and come out on top? Are you guys going to out-wrestle these two men? Are you guys going to use your technical maneuvers to your advantage? Well these two men are going to man-handle you like you are clay. They are going to put you in your place! Razor Ramon That is right, Fuji, we are going to put those losers in their place. I don't think "Hitman" got it through his thick skull, but we are the best there is. As for you, Mr. Perfect, you think you deserve this WWF Intercontinental Championship? Well we'll see tonight when you are being pinned and humiliated in the middle of the ring. Do you really think you deserve a shot at this belt when you can't even hang in the ring with us for five minutes? Chicos, you better rethink your tactics before you step into the box with the two biggest hitters in this place, but good luck nonetheless. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lex Luger vs. "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase Not as good as their first match, but a really good match anyways. They hit on the same points as they did before. There being a lot behind this match really added an element to it. This guys went after each other like two dogs and they never let up. The crowd got behind Lex Luger and started to pump him up. Luger would then go on a tear throwing rights and lefts, but DiBiase would cut it down with dirty tactics. DiBiase would then settle the match down and play it by his rules. The match came to a close when the ref got knocked out momentarily and DiBiase slipped a pair of brass knuckles on. DiBiase hit Luger between the eyes and then woke up the ref, who called the three count. Winner: "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase Time: 11:58 Match Rating: B+ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Steiner Brothers, who will be going for the WWF World Tag Team Championship in a little bit, are in front of the camera. They are paying their last respects to The Quebecers and going to try and start some more tension between the teams before the match. Scott Steiner Finally, tonight we get our shot at the WWF World Tag Team Championship, but we also get a shot to avenge our pain and suffering. The Quebecers have done a lot to us over the last few weeks and we have had enough. Me and my brother haven't wanted to whoop anyone this bad! You can say all you want, but one thing still remains and that is we are the best tag team in professional wrestling today. You think you two Canadians can really get away with what you did to us? You guys are going to have to face reality and it is going to come in the form of two of the best wrestlers you will ever face. What do you have to say about this, Rick? Rick Steiner Owwwwww...Scott, I think I smell some Canadian meat and it is sure going to taste good. I'm going to sink my teeth real good into you guys. Revenge is a dish best served cold, but you know what else is great served cold...Canadians! Ow ow ow ow! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Steiner Brothers come down to the ring and warm up for their match. They wait for The Quebecers to make their way to the ring. As The Steiner Brothers are waiting, The Quebecers come from behind and beat The Steiner Brothers down. They start to demolish Scott and Rick Steiner until a group of backstage workers and referees come out and break it up. This will give them a good advantage for the match they have next for the WWF World Tag Team Championship. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For the WWF World Tag Team Championship The Quebecers (C) vs. The Steiner Brothers A match that was lackluster because The Steiner Brothers were beaten before the match. The Steiner Brothers did start to come back and showed a lot of light. The Steiner Brothers started to pull out a nice mixture of technical moves that the greats would be proud of. It looked as if The Steiner Brothers were going to win the titles for a while with some explosive offense. The Quebecers started to be outmatched so they had to rely on some low tactics. They then got out the cattle prod and just straight up shocked Rick Steiner and got themselves disqualified. That means the WWF Tag Team Championship stays in the hands of The Quebecers. Winners: The Steiner Brothers via Disqualification Time: 10:37 Match Rating: C+ ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We are met again by Vince McMahon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. They are probably going to hype the "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and "Macho Man" Randy Savage match. The two probably have different opinions on how the match will go, but who are they to say? Vince McMahon Well everybody, it has been a great night of action and we are coming up on the two big matches of the night. We will see "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels and "Macho Man" Randy Savage face off to become the #1 Contender for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship. I have to say, Bobby, I have my money on the veteran. Savage has the talent and the experience and I don't think Michaels can handle that much. Bobby "The Brain" Heenan You couldn't be further from what will actually happen, Vince. Michaels is going to mop the floor with that maniac. He needs to get his mind straightened out before he steps in the ring with someone like Shawn Michaels. Shawn Michaels is going to make quick work of that joke and he will move on to become the new WWF World Heavyweight Champion! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Finals in the #1 Contender Tournament for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels vs. "Macho Man" Randy Savage A fantastic match that was born to be a classic. The two men's styles are so much alike that they were destined to have a good match. It seems as if Shawn Michaels could be the next "Macho Man" Randy Savage. It didn't seem like the old lost a step against the new. Randy Savage was able to go hold for hold, strike for strike, kick for kick with "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels. The crowd was all into this one and the place started to catch fire with every move. Every time Michaels would get in a move, the crowd would boo, but when "Macho Man" got in a move, the crowd would cheer. The back and forth action continued for a while until the action went to the outside. They started to exchange blows for a while until they went into the crowd. They continued to brawl, but that was the downside for both of them as the referee called for the bell on a ten count. This settles nothing with the #1 Contender Tournament for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship. Winner: Draw via Double Count Out Time: 13:16 Match Rating: A ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The men continue to brawl even after the ten count and verdict. This must mean that the two men have started a feud of sorts. While the guys are brawling, Jack Tunney comes to the ring with a microphone. Jack Tunney In regards to that match to the #1 Contender Tournament for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship, it does not decide a victor. You two fought very well in the match and it is obvious that you two are equally gifted. That is why I have decided that the only way to find a true #1 Contender is to have a series of matches. These matches will be spread out over seven different events. That means a best of seven series will decide the #1 Contender for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship. The first match will happen next week on WWF Superstars. Good luck, gentlemen as this may be some of the most important matches in your careers. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bret "Hitman" Hart and Mr. Perfect vs. Yokozuna and Razor Ramon A great tag team match that is a good quality main event match. One team brought the power and pain and the other team brought the technical wrestling and grace. The team of Bret "Hitman" Hart and Mr. Perfect worked great together and they lived up to their prediction as a perfect team. With that being said, Yokozuna and Razor Ramon were a lot to handle for Hart and Mr. Perfect. Yokozuna and Ramon both brought a substantial amount of power to the ring. They hit some spine-tingling moves once or twice in this match. The team did start to get greedy and wanted to pick out their rival through the match. Hart and Mr. Perfect started to control the match with supreme mat ability, but that all changed. Mr. Fuji took advantage of the preoccupied referee and threw powder in Mr. Perfect's eyes and that made Hart go after Fuji. Yokozuna then made the most of it and hit a Banzai Drop for the three count. Winners: Yokozuna and Razor Ramon Time: 11:08 Match Rating: A ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The two teams start to brawl outside the ring and it moves to the entrance ramp. The team of Bret "Hitman" Hart and Mr. Perfect start to get the advantage. Hart puts Yokozuna in a Sharpshooter and Mr. Perfect hits Razor Ramon with a Perfect Plex. While he has Yokozuna in the Sharpshooter, Bret Hart is almost hit with some powder by Mr. Fuji, Hart luckily ducked. Hart then pushed Mr. Fuji down on the ramp. "Hitman" picked him up and dropped him on the downed bodies of Razor Ramon and Yokozuna as the show went off the air. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Show Rating: B+ Pay-Per-View Buyrate: 3.38
