Updated Real World Data (inside)

So here's the speel. This is basically just data I did for myself using T-Zone. 99.9999999% of the effort was done by the T-Zone crew, and I want no recognition for anything. I tried contacting Forlan for permission to release this, no response, so I'm doing so anyway. Anyway, with that said, this is not by anymeans meant to be super accurate data. Just me updating to the point I think the game plays well. If you dont like the stats someone has, feel free to suggest new stats but if you want to go "YOU ARE SO GAYORZ! YED YOU RATE HIm ThIZ!?" I dont care. That said as well, this isnt anywhere near completely "updated" just did what I wanted when I get free time. I hope to change it into a completely updated data pack in a couple months that can then be turned into new data for the upcoming TEW release. Below is a INCOMPLETE readme of the changes I've made, since I didnt always keep check, so before you point out "so and so should be retired or unretired, and so and so shouldnt be here" check the data, it might already be done. ECW, RAW, and SmackDown! are all separate promotions as well. Because I like it that way, and as I said this is data I do and will continue to do for me. I already told you All-Star Wrestling was active and had a website. Go to cagematch.net and you can find info on it. As for me, since Nu Wrestling Evolution hasn't had a show since like last year and has no updated roster section, I'm removing them from my data. Keep them in yours if you like, but I prefer to add promotions that have actually had a show this year into the darbase.

I had already deleted them when you said that. I didnt find the need to re-add them. Im also more inclined to make the database smaller rather then bigger, cause loading times are stupid. I randomly deleted some no namers (mostly try and get all those ETWA guys) out of the data.

Currently I have no plans to use the "new promotions" file as in my data there's gonna be more than enough feds that they won't be needed. I also find a bunch of dead promotions re-opening to be terribly unrealistic. Also did you get my pm regarding Kelly Couture?

I did, but I havnt talked to her at all recentley. Next time I see her I'll ask. What I mean though was you are adding several new promotions are you not? I wont do that. If anything I'll just delete promotions, especially in the UK where for some reason there are a lot of promotions with almost identical rosters most of the time. Honestly, how many times does Majik need to wrestle? haha.

I'm not adding that many promotions to the US/Canadian scene. Most of the promotions I plan to add are to the Uk/European scene. I'm not adding any Mexican and very few Japanese promotions. In fact, I only have plans to add 4 Japanese promotions. I'll likely do it as Ravex did it. A "full version" and a "lite" version. But another thing to keep in mind, with TEW 08 in the works, not only has the stability been improved, but so has the speed at which the game runs. So it's not as if the data will be as bad as it was on previous games. I also have plans to trim the worker database down so that should help loading times as well. However, considering the necessary changes that's being made to 08 and with the new features, it's very likely that my version of the dataset will be one of the first mods released. I really see no sense to go through the effort to "hustle" a mod together to only have to make changes when the new game comes out. This gives me a chance to not only take my time with the database, but to be "methodical" in that I can be updating things as time goes along in keeping things up to date.

Some of times I've seen it the running joke is that Daniels is scheduled for the match, then they say he couldn't make it and Curry Man takes his place. I know whenever he wrestles in Japan he is Curry Man most of the time.

I remember he posted some matches and they were basically backyard matches but just in a semi-professional ring.

Not sure how many people are playing or using this, but as I originally said, I simply make the data for myself and felt I might as well release it and invite others to do the same to others data (mine included) as I think its the best way to get the best data in the end of it all. With that being said I am still working on this and always open to people posting "this guy signed here" "why dont you add this guy or this promotion" with some links and stuff. So yea. Here's what I've udpated for the March 1st release. And there will be a release March 1st. I borrowed from HurryZone, mainly as a base for guys I dont know.
