Everybody keeps mentioning the same names. Everybody thinks that Amazing Kong is going to run me over. They all think that I'm just going to be a speed bump in Kong's path to the championship. Well I have news for the so called critics. You don't know $&!%. Kong may be big, she may be strong, but I've been running over competition since I entered professional wrestling. They say I'm too small to compete with Kong, well they have another thing coming. I've been one of the best women's wrestlers in America for a few years now, and still people give me no respect. Well that ends tonight. Once I shock the world and beat Kong, then I'll beat Daizee Haze or Sara Del Rey, it doesn't really matter, they are both pushovers compared to me anyways. Then I'll go onto the finals and beat another inferior athlete, then I'll finally be recognized as the queen of SHIMMER Women Athletes, the first ever SHIMMER Champion. You all get to see the crowning of the first ever SHIMMER Champion here tonight, and we all hope that you have a great time tonight. But as some of you saw on the website last night, Allison Danger was injured at the hands of MsChif and Daffney during the eight woman melee last night. It’s really unfortunate because Allison was so looking forward to the chance to fight for the first ever SHIMMER title reign, but the show must go on, and she will be replaced by Rain in the quarter final match versus MsChif. We wish Allison the best in her recovery. She showed that she wanted to make the most of this second opportunity as she went right after MsChif, but the Queen of Scream unloaded her high powered offense on Rain, who didn’t really have an answer to the very unique style of MsChif. Rain tried to clothesline MsChif, but she just deflected her arm away, then took her out with a legsweep. She turned that right into the Double Legged Muta Lock, and Rain was tapping out in the next instant. She went right after Lacey, but she was dodging everything Kong threw at her. Lacey got in some quick stinging punches on Kong, but Kong’s unmatched power came into play when she caught Lacey’s hand and backhanded her right in the face. She threw Lacey around the ring some, then bodyslammed her three straight times. After the third one she headed to the top rope for the flying splash, but she took a little too much time because Lacey knocked her off awkwardly, then she rolled her up and grabbed the ropes, which the referee didn’t see, and got the shocking three count. She used her power early in the match, but Daizee started to fly around the ring when Del Rey’s power was getting her a huge advantage. She was able to take Del Rey down, and she headed up top and hit a crossbody, but was only able to get a two count. Haze stayed on the offensive from there, kicking Del Rey around the ring. She nailed her Heart Punch on Del Rey, then looked for the Yakuza Kick, but Del Rey was able to block it, and she quickly took Haze down and locked in the Fujiwara Armbar out of nowhere, and Haze had no choice but to tap out. Roxx had things rolling, but Melissa caught fire and she started unloading on Roxx with everything she has. She dropped her with a big dropkick, then followed that up with a series of suplexes. She then followed that up by scooping her up for her Air Raid Crash, but Roxx got out, then went for the Barbie Crusher, and Melissa was able to get out of that as well, then scooped Roxx up and hit the Kudoh Driver to get the win. But now you have to face the very dangerous MsChif, who has two convincing victories in this tournament, and she has also injured Allison Danger. Sara Del Rey was aiming to find out, and Lacey surprisingly still had something left in the tank. She challenged Del Rey to a test of strength, which didn’t look to bright, but she stomped on Del Rey’s foot, giving her the upper hand in the match. She forced Sara to the ground, then went to work on the legs of Del Rey. She was then able to lock in a Figure Four Leglock, but Del Rey refused to quit and reversed the pressure. After the two women went back and forth for a little bit Lacey went up top, but Del Rey took her off with a top rope armbreaker. She then stomped on the arm of Lacey, then locked in the Fujiwara Armbar, and after Lacey tapped Del Rey had her third straight submission victory in this tournament, and a ticket to the finals. It started with the two women facing off in the middle of the ring, and they traded some vicious punches with each other, and neither refused to back down at all. They then faced off again, MsChif let out a scream and they traded a long technical exchange, but neither woman was able to come out on top. MsChif’s manager Daffney then decided to get into the action, and she provided the distraction that allowed MsChif to get the upper hand. She knocked Melissa around, then she looked to hit her Desecrator, but Melissa powered out of it, then she got MsChif up and hit the Air Raid Crash to get the victory. Videos then played that highlighted the victories of Cheerleader Melissa and Sara Del Rey, especially Del Rey’s deadly Fujiwara Armbar. Both showed why they are two of the finest technical wrestlers on the scene today, and they had a series of seven or eight straight pinfall attempts on each other. They then traded some grounded holds, and Del Rey pulled out the Fujiwara Armbar out of nowhere. Melissa struggled, and was able to flip over and get out of the hold though. Del Rey was like a shark smelling blood though, and she went right after the arm of Melissa. She stomped it, and then put a scissors hold on it, and it looked like Melissa was in serious trouble. Del Rey continued the assault on Melissa, but Melissa was able to avoid a clothesline with a matrix like move, then she got behind Del Rey and hit a back suplex. Melissa then stayed on top for quite some time, and she almost put it away with a curb stomp, but Del Rey was able to kick out. They then faced off again and traded forearm blows, and Del Rey got the upper hand by avoiding a shot and then hitting a German Suplex. She then got Melissa up and tried to hit the Royal Butterfly, but Melissa kicked her in the gut, then picked her up and drilled the Kudoh Driver and got the three count, becoming the first ever SHIMMER Champion. I've given my blood, sweat, and tears for this promotion, and it's nice to be recognized with some championship gold. The other fifteen women in the tournament were extremely talented, and it makes me proud to know that I was the only wrestler left standing. With this championship I hope to accomplish a goal, and that goal is to revolutionize women's wrestling. Right now in this country when people think of women's wrestling they think of divas rolling around in their underwear. Well I'm no diva, I'm Cheerleader Melissa, and I'm going to change your perception. The way I plan to do this is to defend this championship at every opportunity. If somebody wants a title shot and they deserve it, then bring it on. [COLOR="Red"][SIZE="3"][U]Allison Danger[/U][/SIZE] Last month we had a photo opportunity with the SHIMMER Championship, and things got out of hand. But instead of just a heated brawl MsChif knew she couldn’t beat me in our second round match, and she took out my knee. Doctors refused to let me wrestle the next night, and I was forced to miss out on my chance to be the first ever SHIMMER Champion. I wanted to get revenge on MsChif tonight, but I have been placed in a tag match with my partner Sara Del Rey against Lacey and Rain. There were no alliances made in this match, and every woman fought for herself. When one would get knocked down, the other two would brawl until the other woman recovered and took another out. They continued this action until Fyfe and Ringer were on the outside, and Ariel did a suicide dive into both of them. The action then worked back inside, and Ariel was able to hit the Dariel on Ringer to get the victory. They would take each other down, then try to destroy their opponent with deadly kicks. Roxx was able to get the best of this though with a nasty running big boot to the face of Black. She went to pick up Black, but the Jezebel was waiting and captured her in a dangerous submission hold, but Roxx was able to find a way out. She dominated some more, then looked for her finisher, the Garden of Eden, a triangle choke, but Roxx used her power and hoisted her up and nailed the Barbie Crusher for the victory. She was upset because she didn’t make it out of the first round in the tournament, and she took it out on poor Serena. Deeb tried to get some offense in, but Jazz just laughed at her and powered her down to the mat. She then measured her and finished it quickly with the Jazz Stinger. She was successful in wearing down Kong, which is important in any match against Kong. She was able to duck under a Kong clothesline, then locked in a Cobra Clutch, but Kong powered her up over her head and slammed her into the mat. Kong then dropped an elbow, taking all the breath out of MsChif. Kong then slugged Chif around the ring and looked for her spinning back fist, but MsChif was able to duck under it, then she set up for her finisher, the Desecrator, but as she was ready to drop her Allison Danger sprinted towards the ring. She hopped up on the apron, and MsChif turned her attention to the woman she injured last month, but that proved deadly as Amazing Kong grabbed her and hit an Amazing Bomb to get the huge victory, then motioned that she wants the title. They brought in good technical abilities, and they had several standoffs where neither woman was able to gain the upper hand. They fought in a faster paced style later, and Perez looked for her amazing finisher, the Kosher Pickle, which is a tornado Unprettier, but Stock was able to fight out of it, then hit her Tiger Suplex to get the victory over Perez. Hosaka came at Kraven strong, but he six footer just shrugged it off and pounded Hosaka right into the mat. The crowd was amazed as Kraven used power they have rarely seen, and after she was done stretching Hosaka like a Stretch Armstrong doll she grabbed her by the throat and hit a thunderous Chokeslam to get the victory. This made for a very fast paced match, but the Angels used their experience to isolate Rain in their corner, which gave them a huge advantage in the match. Allison Danger then got in and took some frustrations out on Rain from not being able to compete in the second day of the tournament. Then after a tag to Del Rey, MsChif came sprinting towards the ring, and she spit her green mist at Danger, but she missed, which caused Danger to leave the ring and chase after MsChif. This left Del Rey alone, and while she was yelling towards Danger, Lacey got the tag in, and when Del Rey turned around Lacey nailed her with the Implant DDT and got the victory. The crowd was going crazy at the two women were throwing chairs and anything else they could get their hands on at each other. The Haze didn’t look to be intimidated as she went right after Melissa, and she shocked the crowd as she took Melissa out of the ring with a big dropkick. She then charged at Melissa, and dove through the ropes and hit a plancha to the outside. She got Melissa back up and dragged her back into the ring, and Haze was looking very good from the onset of the match. Haze continued her assault on Melissa, but the champion was able to finally gain her composure and she hit a few forearm blows to Haze, then dropped her with a deadly uppercut. She then got Haze in a nice submission hold, but Haze found the only way to reverse the hold, and she came out of it with an armbar on Melissa. Melissa got her way back up to her feet and while she was still in an armbar of sorts from Haze she was able to get loose by punching Haze in the head several times, taking Daizee straight to the mat. Melissa then looked for the move named after one of her idols, the Muta Lock, but Haze wouldn’t let her lock it in, then she hit a Heart Punch on Melissa. The champion was left reeling, and Haze looked for the Yakuza Kick, but Melissa leveled her with a clothesline. Melissa then hit some stiff slap kicks to the chest and back of Haze, then waited for her to rise and hit the Kudo Driver to get defense number one of the SHIMMER Championship, and after the match she and Haze shared a handshake on a great match. And that woman is Amazing Kong. Kong is big, she's bad, she shows no mercy. But I have something that Kong doesn't have, I have heart. I plan to show you all why I'm not only the first SHIMMER Champion, but I'm going to go down in the books as the greatest SHIMMER Champion of all time when all is said and done. Kong is going to fall, and the reinvention of women's wrestling will continue.
