3 points, that's what I get for critique :P. Anyway three shows are done and now we're heading into uncharted territory, let's see if I can sink to a new low. Predictions Form: Subida La Tapa Puerto Rican Title: Puerto Rican Power vs Winner of 4 Corner Survival Last time 'twas a submission but he's going back to the 4 moves of doom this time * The guess how Power wins bonus point still applies Ladder Match for People's Title: Handsome Stranger vs Mainstream Hernandez As we enter booking penalty territory I have to begrudgingly pick Hernandez, because nothing in Pecs makes me think "ladder match winner" 4CS for P.R Title Shot: Hells Bouncer vs Leper Messiah vs Rudy Velasquez vs Shawn Gonzalez Bouncer and Shawn cancel each other out and Velasquez cashes in on the opportunity Barrio Street Fight: D.C Rayne vs Hector Galindo Galindo is clearly the worst of the four involved in the series, so no win for him Barrio Street Fight: Eddie Howard vs Jesus Chavez even steven booking 101 Open Challenge: 937 Ib Express vs ??? & ??? The Ring Generals from PSW play the jobber-du-jour role Amo Del Gato vs Bradford Peverall With the styles clash this could be really ugly. Puerto Rican Title: Puerto Rican Power vs Winner of 4 Corne Survival -4 moves of DOOM! Ladder Match for People's Title: Handsome Stranger vs Mainstream Hernandez -It seems like the ladder match favors Mainstream... plus, well, he's awesome. 4CS for P.R Title Shot: Hells Bouncer vs Leper Messiah vs Rudy Velasquez vs Shawn Gonzalez -Tough match to call. My instinct is to pick Gonzalez, but I like the thought of him and Hells Bouncer taking each other out. Too early for Leper, so... I think Rudy it is. Barrio Street Fight: D.C Rayne vs Hector Galindo Barrio Street Fight: Eddie Howard vs Jesus Chavez Open Challenge: 937 Ib Express vs ??? & ??? -The Hillbillys from the USPW. I started out in control but Zonk soon turned it round with some dirty tactics, almost getting a few flash pinfalls on me. From there the match went back an forth with Zonk using his speed to try and keep me off balance but my natural athleticism being able to counter it. With the time limit appoaching I was finally able to get Zonk in position for the C.R Driver but Amo Del Gato came down to ringside causing enough of a distraction for Zonk to block the attempt and for the ten minute time limit to expire. That agreement soon broke down though, when Rudy Velasquez went up top to finish Gonzalez off with either a Latino Press or a Ghetto Stomp, but was instead press slammed back into the ring by Hells Bouncer. Gonzalez rolled out of the ring and took time to recover on the outside, as Bouncer turned his attention to Velasquez. Bouncer used his size to completely over-power and dominate Velasquez, never allowing the KotS member to get away far enough to make his superior speed/agility count. Soon enough Bouncer had Velasquez hoisted up by the throat, the crowd were anticipation of a Damnation Drop but Gonzalez sneaked back in under the ropes and took Bouncer down from behind with a chop-block, forcing Bouncer to release Velasquez, who still hit the mat with a thud. An incensed Bouncer then turned around and went right after Gonzalez but Gonzalez ducked out of the way and hit a drop-kick on the big man, sending Bouncer tumbling through the ropes. Gonzalez then ran the ropes to follow up with a suicide dive but Leper Messiah re-entered back into the ring, Messiah went to take Gonzalez down with a clothesline but the Lone Wolf still managed to duck under and he soared through the ropes to take Bouncer down with a suicide dive. As Gonzalez and Bouncer both got up, they began to brawl and were soon heading out into the crowd, their hatred for one another seemingly unable to be contained in the ring. That Left Messiah and Velasquez to battle it out in the ring, and the KotS member had recovered just enough to take to the skies once more, he flew off the top-rope towards Messiah with a cross-body but the maniacal leader of the Messiah's circus, caught Velasqueze in mid-air then tossed him off head with a Fall-Away Slam. Velasquez then staggered back up to his feet, but was soon put down with a running boot from Leper Messiah, who then scooped the KotS man up, before whipping Velasquez into the ropes to set up for the Prophecy (spinning side slam- think Black Hole Slam). Messiah drove Velasquez into the mat with the Prophecy but as he made the cover, Ryan Holland was no-where to be seen, instead he was paying attention to Carlos Batch who had hopped up onto the apron (O.O.C: I think a one year old child has a more developed attention span than a professional wrestling referee) doing his usual motormouthed protesting. Messiah then got up to protest, but someone emerged from the crowd, armed with a chair, it wasn't one of Velasquez fellow Latino Kings, it was Bradford Peverall instead. Peverall cracked the chair over the head of Leper Messiah, causing the face-painted freak to crumble at the knees and hit the canvas with an almighty thud, Peverall then draped Velasquez over Leper Messiah before high-taling it back into the crowd. Holland finally turned around to see Velasquez making the cover and with Bouncer nor Gonzalez no where to be seen, that turned out to be the decisive pinfall as Velasquez 'earned' a shot at the Puerto Rican Championship. A solid story based match, which it had to be given two of the wrestlers involved aren't particularly good in the ring. The right two kicked things off in Gonzalez/Velasquez then it merged fairly well into the more sports entertainment story based style of match, with everyone coming out looking pretty strong. Bouncer and Gonzalez still look strong, because they weren't involved in the decision, Velasquez gets a big win and Messiah has a genuine excuse for the loss. Result: Rudy Velasquez defeated Hell's Bouncer, Leper Messiah and Shawn Gonzalez in 10:46 when Rudy Velasquez defeated Leper Messiah by pinfall. Rating: C- ____________________________________________________ The cheapotron shows dodgy handheld footage of the whereabouts of Shawn Gonzalez and Hells Bouncer, whose brawling has now spilt out into the backstage area. Bouncer appears to be dominating the exchanges, but then gets out of breath for a bit and Gonzalez comes right back with some shots of his own. Eventually we see Gonzalez being thrown through the back entrance and Hells Bouncer bursting through the same doors in pursuit, it's at that point the footage of their brawl is left to fade out. Rating: D+ _____________________________________________________ Match #2: Barrio Street Fight: D.C Rayne vs Hector Galindo w/ Carlos Batch vs w/ This one ended up being pretty ugly as D.C Rayne and Hector Galindo have no chemistry what so ever as opponents which might go some way to explaining why the tag matches between their two teams have never been much good either. As expected this soon spilled out into the ringside area, where the pair of them use plunder that is conveniently hidden under the ring to hit one another with, the usual hardcore brawl stuff of chairs, trashcan-lids, baking tins etc. Eventually Rayne takes control after Power-bombing Galindo into the railings with a sloppy power-bomb after the KotS man tried to take him down with head-scissors off the apron. Rayne then set up a table and dragged Galindo across, but Carl Batch then intervened, forcing Rayne to turn around, Batch then blew cigar smoke in Rayne's face (oh great here comes another fine). Leaving the Natural Storm man disorientated. Galindo then got up off the table, nailed Rayne in the head with a couple of trash can-shots, forcing Rayne to stumble onto the table. Galindo then headed up top, and flew off onto Rayne with a sloppy looking Latino Press (he almost completely over-shot the table) sending both of them through the table. Holland then made the three count as Galindo lay on top of a motionless D.C Rayne. Result: Hector Galindo defeated D.C. Rayne in 7:25 by pinfall. Rating: E+ After the match and the wreckage is being cleared away Jesus Chavez comes out and he starts to lay a further beatdown on D.C Rayne and soon enough Galindo has perked up enough to join in on the fun. However Eddie Howard comes rushing out with a Kendo Stick in hand, nailing Galindo and Chavez with a couple of shots. Galindo soon high tails it but Chavez sticks it out and starts coming back with a few shot of his own. Match #3: Barrio Street Fight: Eddie Howard vs Jesus Chavez w/Carlos Batch vs w/ The bell rings and it looks like Howard and Chavez' Barrio Street Fight is kicking off right now. Basic brawling to start, Rayne then gets the advantage and trys to irish whip Jesus Chavez into the barricade, but Chavez puts the breaks and reverses the momentum. Chavez then picks up a chair and crashes it over the head of Howard. Chavez then drags howard up to his feet and sits him down in the chair before delivering a few punches to the top of Howards' head. Chavez now moves-away to the opposite barricade, the KotS man comes charging at Howard, but Howard suddenly gets up off the chair and levels Chavez with a clothesline. Howard lifts Chavez up and tosses him into the crowd, he then gets up on the barricade and comes crashing down on Chavez with a double axe handle. Howard tells the crowd to clear out of the way, before attempting to get Chavez up for a suplex. Chavez blocks however and fires in a couple of shots to the gut, before picking up a chair and crashing it over the back of Howard. Chavez spots a trash can and picks it up, but Howard kicks it out of his hand, and then dumps the trash can on Chavez. Howard follows up with a Lariat, with Chavez inside of the trash can ! Carlos Batch goes to intefere, but Howard grabs hold of the Kings of the Street's mouthpiece, pitches Batch between his legs and dumps the motor-mouthed hustler onto a pile of chairs with the Natural Ending (release powerbomb), thus ending any further involvement from Batch in this match Howard then takes the trash can of Chavez, and goes for the cover. One...... Two....... Chavez kicks out, Batch's sacrifice probably saving him from the inevitable three count. Howard is still in control and he pitches Chavez back over the guard-rail and into the ringside area. The Natural Storm man then goes to whip Chavez towards the ring-post, but Chavez blocks it and then hits a low blow that has Howard doubling over in pain. Chavez then picks up a chair, and fires in a couple of shots to the gut of Howard, he then goes to look under the ring for something, before emerging with a cheese grater. Chavez remains in control, keeping Howard down with a few simple lefts and rights, before putting Howard in a headlock and rubbing the cheese grater over the Natural Storm man's forehead. Blood is now tricking down Howard's face making it hard for him to see. Chavez tosses the cheese grater away, and just goes back to using his fists, as he looks to open up the cut on Howard's forehead. Howard is really looking wobbly legged now and Chavez picks up his limp body for the 187 Neckbreaker. Howard blocks it though and comes back with an explosive clothesline, he drapes an arm over Chavez......... One........ Two.......... Chavez kicks out. They both stagger up to their feet and begin to brawl up the entrance ramp. Howard begins to get a second wind and starts to gain the advantage, he fires in a knee to the gut of Chavez and attempts a suplex, but he can't get the KotS man up, and Chavez counters with a DDT on to the entrance ramp. One........ Two....... Howard kicks out, but he remains motionless. Chavez then gets a table from underneath the ring, before propping it up vertically against the frame of the ring. He then picks Howard up, before attempting to whip the Natural Storm man into the table, but Howard reverse the momentum, and he sends Chavez into the table instead. Chavez stops just short of going right through the table. Howard then charges towards Chavez and he sends both of them crashing through the table with a spear ! But Howard is too worn down to make the cover. Ryan Holland then starts a ten count on both combatants...... Eight........ Nine........... Ten......... Holland calls for the bell to be rung, this match is declared a draw. This was much better than the first street fight, for a start they actually went further than the ringside area (taking the fight out into the crowd), it still wasn't a great match by any means but these two at least looked like they were more capable of putting on a fairly decent brawl, though I think the fans would have been alot happier with a more decisive finish. Result: Eddie Howard drew with Jesus Chavez in 9:48 when both competitors were counted out. As expected Samuel then played face in peril for a good few minutes, as the 937 Ib Express took turns to dish out some very sluggish looking punishment. They could have realistically had the match won at any point, but they insisted on trying to 'send a message' , Kennedy then wound up for the Kennedy Krush but Samuel somehow had enough awareness left to drop down and slide under the legs of the big man. Samuel then hit a drop-kick into the back of Kennedy, causing the 470 Iber to collide with his own partner. The man best known for his stint in the SWF as the Calamari kid then dived across to get the tag into Primus. Primus came in like a house on fire against both of the 937 Ib Express, barrelling into them with shoulder blocks and clothelines. The heavyweight rookie then headed up top, and perched himself ont the top turbuckle, before launching himself into Ox Mastadon with a flying shoulder tackle. Mastadon stumbled back and then out of the ring. King Kong Kennedy then came charging in at Primus, but Samuel came flying off another turnbuckle, before attempting to take down Kennedy with a Tornado DDT. Kennedy held firm however and soon had Samuel up for a press slam, but Primus then hit a spear, that caused King Kong Kennedy to land flat on his back , Samuel was then tossed up into the air, but he came crashing down onto Kennedy with a splash. Kennedy kicked out, but was still flat on his back. Primus officially tagged Samuel back in, then launched his partner like a weapon on to Kennedy. Samuel came down on the big man with the Cannonball Drop (Backsplash Senton). Holland then dropped to the mat......... One........ Two......... Three !! The 937 Ib Express had been beaten. Well that was better than the previous two matches, even if according to Rico Santana the pairing I finally do have beating the Express don't particularly work well as a team. The plan for this storyline was always to have this be a three match deal, with the Express beating two jobber teams, then getting their comeuppance in the third match. The original plan however was to have the Dirty White Boyz come in and be that team, but in my opinion for what they could bring to the table, they were asking for too much money. That's when I turned my attention to the former Calamari Kid and Primus. Even if these two don't work out as team, which it looks like they may not (so I'm already thinking of ways to split them up) they could at least be solid additions in the singles ranks. Samuel is an experienced competitor and Primus though raw, is at least athletic and unlike either of the Express has the potential to become a much better worker. Another thing is that I would extended the angle on longer, but as with version 1 one of the Express's contract does run out fairly soon, and I'm not willing to renew it. Peverall started out in control, using his solid striking game to keep Del Gato in check, but when referee Ryan Holland told Peverall to step away from Del Gato, after the 'laid back dude' was pummeling Del Gato in the corner, that allowed the circus member to sneak in a thumb to the eye, then take plant Peverall face first into the mat with a bull-dog. It was all Del Gato for the next few minutes as the Circus member used drop-kicks, head-scissors and arm-drags to keep Peverall off balance, whilst at the same time constantly looking to sneak in a pinfall. Peverall kept kicking out, but each time he kicked out, he was exerting more energy. With Peverall really struggling to stay on his feet, Del Gato moved in to finish him off, but Peverall was playing possum, and all of a sudden he hit Del Gato with a flurry of European Uppercuts, he then whipped Del Gato off the ropes and planted the circus member back onto the canvas with a spinebuster. Peverall then waited for Del Gato to get up, his fist ready to pop Del Gato into the air with the Rock Hard Uppercut, but before he could so El Hijo Del Zonk sneaked up behind and low blowed Peverall. Holland saw the misdemeanour and immediately called for the bell, awarding the victory to Peverall via DQ. The two Circus members then attempted to lay a beat-down on Peverall, but the laid back heavy hitter, managed to roll out of the ring before any damage could be done. Result: Bradford Peverell defeated Amo Del Gato in 5:57 when Amo Del Gato was disqualified. Rating: D- ______________________________________________________ This time Sara Silver ins backstage with the challenger for the Peoples Championship Mainstream Hernandez. Sara Silver: I am here right now with Mainstream Hernandez, who is hoping to win the Peoples Championship. It's a very cautious opening from both competitor, as if neither of them wants to make the first mistake. Hernandez goes for a kick, but Stranger blocks it then takes Hernandez down with a leg-whip, Hernandez pops back up and takes Stranger over with an arm-drag, Stranger lands on his feet and goes for a running kick, Hernandez ducks under then nails Stranger with a drop-kick on the way up. Stranger stays on his feet, but Hernandez follows up with a second drop-kick, Stranger looks out of it, but is somehow still on his feet, a third drop-kick from Hernandez and this time Stranger is left slumping in the corner. Hernandez leaves the champion slumped in the corner and goes to the outside to bring a ladder into the ring. The Mainstreamer goes to slide the ladder under the bottom rope, but he took a bit too long and Stranger shoots out of the corner he was slumped in, and hits the bottom of the ladder with a baseball slide, causing the ladder to slide back and hit Hernandez in the chest. Hernandez slumps over onto the ramp, and the former Pecs slides under the ring, he picks up the winded Hernandez and delivers an overhead belly to belly suplex onto the entrance ramp. With Hernandez struggling to get back to his feet Stranger turns his attention back to the ladder, he sets it up in the middle of the ring and he begins to steady it, he starts climbing the ladder but Hernandez slides back under the bottom rope, baseball sliding the bottom of the ladder. The ladder collapses forward but lands across the ring ropes. Hernandez then using the ropes for extra momentum hits a running drop-kick onto the ladder, causing it to ping back into the face of Stranger, the champion falls backwards and the ladder starts to collapse on top of him, but he manages to roll out of the way before it actually does. However he looked to have used up his last ounce of energy and remains stuck to the canvas. Mainstream goes over to the ladder and begins to steady it, in the middle of the ring, he starts to climb, but Stranger is back up.....Belly to Back Suplex off the Ladder !! They both struggle to their feet....they exchange blows, Stranger goes for the Catalan Twist, Hernandez ducks under ......SUPERKICK ! Hernandez goes over to the ladder again, and begins to climb once more.............. He's almost there but Stranger is getting back to his feet, he shakes the ladder and Mainstream loses his footing, and he ends up tumbling to the mat. Handsome Stranger decides against climbing the ladder and instead decides to prop it up in the corner. Stranger picks a dazed Mainstream Hernandez up off the canvas, and goes to whip the challenger into the ladder, he sends Hernandez half way across the ring, into the ladder, but Hernandez back flips off the ladder, over Stranger and then follows up with a drop-kick that sends Stranger crashing through the ladder breaking the ladder in two ! Hernandez goes under the ring and pulls out a new ladder. But the former Mikel Alonso is back up as he slides it into the ring. Stranger low blows Hernandez (who's focus was entirely on getting a new ladder into play) from behind and then follows up with a CATALAN TWIST onto the ladder !! Stranger scrapes Hernandez off the ladder, before setting the ladder up once more, he begins to climb. The belt is almost in touching distance, unbelievably Hernandez is back to his, feet he races up the ladder, clubbing Stranger from behind, before sending both of them crashing off the ladder and back onto the canvas with a russian leg-sweep ! They struggle back up to their feet again, the champion sneaks in a thumb to the eye and a back-rake, he follows up with a couple of knees to the mid-section causing Hernandez to double over......Stranger looks for another Catalan Twist, this time Hernandez blocks it, and counters with the PONTIAC TO HOME !! (Swinging Reverse STO). Hernandez begins to climb the ladder once again, but he's so worn down from this match, that his progress at climbing is very slow.......Stranger starts to stir, but Hernandez suddenly stops he seems aware that the champion is about to get up off the canvas.......APPARITION # 14 (Moonsault leg-drop) off the ladder !!! It connects and surely now the defending champion must be done !! and Hernandez begins to climb the ladder once more. All the mainstreamers in the arena, and watching at home can sense that their man is on the verge of winning the Peoples Championship. He's almost there, he can feel it in his fingers, Stranger is actually getting up off the canvas, the belt just wont un-hook, Stranger is now fully up, he's starts to shake the ladder !! But Hernandez manages to unhook the belt........WE HAVE A NEW PEOPLES CHAMPION !!! Decent ladder match, Hernandez got to show off his high-flying repetoire and did some cool spots, but Stranger didn't really look all that comfortable in this sort of match, meaning that it wasn't quite as good as it could have been, but the fact that we was uncomfortable in this sort of match, did sort of play into the storyline of the feud. Velasquez comes charging in at P.R Power but gets planted into the mat with a Uranage Slam........ Power picks Velasquez up off the canvas, before whipping the KotS member into one of the turnbuckles, before following up with a splash into the corner, a stunned Velasquez staggers out of the corner and P.R Power sends him, crashing over head with a back-body-drop. Velasquez staggers up to his feet and P.R Power lines up for the San Juan Rush, but Velasquez manages to roll out of the way at the last split and he rolls out of the ring to re-group. Velasquez talks strategy with Carlos Batch, whilst P.R Power simply waits in the ring, because being the champion he can wait all day. Velasquez finally decides to enter back into the ring, but is immediately met with a clubbing fore-arm. Power whips him across the ring, he then goes to follow up with a clothesline, Velasquez manages to duck under , before springing off the ropes with a flying cross-body, Power doesn't go down but it does cause the champion to lose his footing a little and stagger backwards.....and he ends up staggering into Ryan Holland. Holland collides with the champion and ends up hitting the canvas face first. All of a sudden the rest of the Kings of the Street storm the ring, all of a sudden it's three on one, and the Kings are laying a beat-down to the champion. Chavez puts P.R Power in some kind of camel clutch, Velasquez then goes over and gets the belt, before cracking it over the head of the champion (Dane O'Hara is protesting on commentary: that his is disgusting !, whilst Cueball Lynch is loving the fact that Power is getting beaten to a pulp). Here comes Natural Storm ! and they are armed with chairs ....the Storm clear the ring of all the Kings of the Street....before brawling back into the crowd with Galindo and Chavez. Velasquez sneaks back into the ring, and drapes himself over the motionless body of Puerto Rican Power, whilst Carlos Batch revives Ryan Holland. Holland is there to make the count........... One........... Two........... Thr.............. Velasquez and Batch can't believe it, Power has just kicked out. However the champion remains stuck to the canvas, and the Kings of the Street man heads up top, Velasquez comes down on the champion with a Ghetto Stomp, but Power rolls out of the way, he gets up to seated position, but Velasquez springs off the ropes and nails him with a running knee....Velasquez makes another cover........ One......... Two......... Thr............ Power kicks out again and the crowd really start to get behind the champion. Velasquez is wondering what he has to do to put the champion away. Velasquez waits for Power to get up to his feet, he then nails the champion in the gut with a simple kick. He goes for a modified version of his Latino Cutter, but P.R Power blocks it, then is able to take Velasquez over with a bodyslam. Power waits for Velasquez to get to his feet, before whipping the challenger across the ring, Velasquez bounces back off the ropes, and ducks under the roaring elbow, then hits an Enziguiri that has the big man stunned. Power staggers back, Batch is up on the apron, and he has a chair, he swings it at the champion, but Power manages to side-step out of the way, and he ends up hitting Velasquez instead. Velasquez staggers back, Power follows in with the roaring elbow !, a dazed Velasquez then stumbles into an Atomic Drop, Velasquez is out on his feet......Spinebuster. The crowd are in anticipation of the fourth move of doom........... SAN JUAN RUSH !! One............. Two............ Three !!! P.R Power does his usual come from behind, beat the odds schtik and the crowd laps it up. It's formulaic, it's predictable but his matches always get the biggest reactions on the night, even if the wrestling on the undercard is often superior. April In Review Four months in and I feel I am doing a solid job, with all shows so far garnering a C- rating with have at the very least been consistent. The tightening of the finances for this month, also saw us make a small profit, helping to recover some of the losses we endured last month. Stetson Hatt left the last show early, giving us no reason for his sudden disappearance. When I caught up with him, I gave him a subtle talking to (giving respect to his veteran status) about his conduct and to let us know next time if he needs to leave the show early, instead of just scooting off. In my view it was a pretty minor misdemeanour but I had to be seen to be doing something, incase the rest of the boys in the locker room got any ideas that leaving the show early is something that would be tolerated. _____________________________________________________________ April News and Notes from around the Wrestling World General News TCW are keeping things competive between the big two of North American and arguably World Wrestling when they rose to International Size. Whilst 5SSW confirmed their position as the World's leading all female promotion by rising to Cult Size. Worker Signings 5SSW followed up the news regarding their increase to cult Size by adding veterans Dragon Assassin, Umeko Hotta and Saeko Hiroyuki to their roster on PPA deals Heiachiro Sakai & MYSTIC Dragon were called up to BHOTWG from development in Hinote Dojo, as they get their chance in the big leagues. Whilst teenage prospect Seiji Jimbo has signed a development deal with Hinote Dojo. Many insiders are saying that Jimbo is already showing signs that he could be a special talent and that he'll probably only be in development as a stop gap. Whippy the Clown is becoming a man in demand, as he has now signed a PPA deal with CZCW, adding to his current deals with CGC and 4C in Canada. Hotly tipped FCW prospect Kirk Jameson has expanded his schedule by signing a PPA deal with MAW Rodger Dodger is becoming another man with a busy schedule, signing on with SWF developmental territory RIPW but on a PPA deal, that means he will also keep working for NYCW an CGC. Simon Flemmingway was released from his PGHW developmental contract, but was then snapped up by PGHW's development territory SAISHO on a PPA deal. SWF called up Nevada Nuclear from RIPW Following their rise to International size, TCW were the busiest of all the promotions in terms of worker signings. Fumhiro Ota returns to TCW for the first time since the Cruiserweight Division was scrapped, MAW Champion Erik Strong was snapped up, Hell Monkey returns home from Japan and former SWF development prospect Mikey James joins from CZCW, all on Written deals. Many are saying that these signings could show an intention to put a little more focus on the All Action Division. The other two signings are curious ones, Jack Griffith gets a chance to revive his once promising career (before alchohol addiction took hold), whilst Mean Jean Cattley joins from MAW. Cattley however has only signed on a PPA deal, showing loyalty to the promotion he has helped to build with Rip Chord, he will also be working under a mask as he revives his old Mean Machine gimmick for the first time in two years. Meanwhile former SWF colour commentator Queen Emily joins the announce team, whilst Shane Sneer joins on a PPA deal. Worker Extensions 5SSW extended the PPA deal of Gorgon Tag Champion Chuichu Sanda and VENOM extended their PPA deals with BHOTWG BSC extended the contract of one of it's key performes, in former Queen of the Ring Dharma Gregg. CGC have managed to re-sign Eddie Chandler and Nate Johnson to new PPA deals. Both are key members of CGC's top heel faction The Elite. GCG extended the PPA deals of Shingen Miyazaki and British Gaijin Barry Griffin. African Powerhouse Kalu Owusu had his PPA deal extended by INSPIRE Cameron Vessey, who hopes to emulate the achievements of his father and Uncle in the business has had his contract extended by MAW Magnifico, Daniel Cano and Heavy Metal Anarchy all had their contracts extended by MPWF The Natural and Grace Harper are both staying with NOTBPW after re-signing on a PPA basis. One of NYCW's genuine 'young prospects' Sammy the Shark re-signed with the old school promotion Former 2 time Campeon de Universal Championa Jr has resigned with OLLIE Ryoma Muryama is staying with PGHW after signing a new Written contract El Diamante Azul and Lobo Blanco saw their PPA deals extended by SOTBPW SWF managed to retain the services of two of their most popular performers in World Champion Jack Bruce and Vengeance (formerly known as Skull De Bones). Big Smack Scott and Samoan Wildboyz manager B.J O'Neill also saw their contracts extended Mick Muscles signed a contract extension with USPW The Tic saw his PPA deal extended by WLW Injuries A fairly busy month on the injury front TCW's Harry Allen will be out for around a month with a reverberating bicep GCG were dealt a blow when one of their top stars Hiroyasu Gakusha was signed off for three months with Chronic Shoulder Pain. Yasuhiko Taira picked up a major concussion in a match with Super Joshuya and will be out for 14 months. I'm no fan of Taira , who I feel is arguably one of the most over-pushed wrestlers in Japan but no one wishes this sort of misfortune on a worker. Ryoma Muruyama earned a new contract with PGHW then picked up Knee Ligament damage that will keep him out of action for about a month. Natsu Miyamae completed a quartet of notable injuries in Japan after sustaining a Broken Tail Bone in a match with Toshiki Shibanumo However it was ROF owner British Samurai who perhaps suffered the worst injury of all this month, when he broke his neck in a match against Merle O'Curle for the ROF Championship. Samurai landed awkwardly after taking a German Suplex from O'Curle and valiantly managed to finish the match, but he will now be out action for over a year. Retirements Ten Time World Champion Sam Keith, called time on his in-ring career. His final match was against Rocky Golden, who became the final victim of the feared Proton Lock as Keith picked up the victory. With his storied career, Keith is guaranteed to be inducted to the Hall of Immortals. Nowhere near as note-worthy but joshi veteran Nebe Ebina also called time on her in-ring career, whilst Canadian legend Whipper Spencer Marks has decided to leave the wrestling business all together to enjoy a full retirement. Backstage Problems 4C Commentator Terry Smith has fallen out with youngster Chris Flynn, whilst Everest was slating VENOM throughout and Online interview. Romance Sources backstage at RIPW have said that Jerry Martin has been getting very friendly with young diva Emmy, some have even gone as far as saying that they could well be dating one another. Title Changes Kiko Sakakibara won the 5SSW All Asian Title for a third time Silver Shark & White Samurai ended the nine month BHOTWG Junior Tag Title reign of Kiyaru & Scorpion. Meanwhile Kansuke Konda saw his Openweight Title reign come to an end at the hands of White Samurai who became a double champion, however Samurai lost the title to Rhino Umaga three weeks later Toshiharu Hyobanshi won his first GCG World Title, ending the dominant reign of Pistol Pete Hall at 14 months, while Eagle Kawasawa became the new GCG Openweight Champion ending the four month reign of Takayuki 2000 Bizarrely Shingen Miyazaki now holds both the championships of BHOTWG and PGHW's respective development territories, after defeating Mystic Dragon for the Hinote Dojo All Japan Title Following Erik Strongs departure to TCW. Mean Jean Cattley beat Cameron Vessey for the vacant Mid Atlantic Championship. American Machine's Tri-State Regional title reign in NYCW was a short lived one, losing the title in his first defence to Honest Frank The McWade Brothers became 6 time NOTBPW Tag Team Champions, ending the reign of the Kelowna Playaz at the Super Slam Event Fumhiro Ota return to TCW is already reaping rewards after the former 5 Time TCW/HGC Cruiserweight champion won his first TCW All Action Title, ending the reign of Sammy Bach Awesome Thunder became a 7 time Universal champion in WLW, ending the 11 month long reign of Emerald Angel. Meanwhile Americana became a 2 time WLW Showstealer champion, plus the Street Fighting Title also changed hands with Insane Machine winning the belt from Tokoyuni Hardcore.

Delorean Driver.com Your Top Wrestling News Site Notes From A Small Island: FCW will back in action on Sunday May 11th with their Esto Significa Guerra event, which will once again take place at the Gynasium Aguada in San Juan. The Hells Bouncer/Shawn Gonzalez feud comes to a head in a Last Man Standing Match with the winner earning a shot at Puerto Rican Power's Puerto Rican Championship. There is no love, lost between these two and despite the added bonus of the winner earning a title shot, this match boils down to the fact that they both want to knock one another out of FCW, who will be the Last Man Standing ? While, Puerto Rican Power himself will be taking a month off from defending his title, to team up with Peoples Champion Mainstream Hernandez to take on Rudy Velasquez and Handsome Stranger (both of whom lost out to Power and Hernandez last month). Can Velasquez/Stranger make a statement and get a win over the champion duo or will Power/Hernandez confirm their current superiority. The FCW Tag Team Championship will be on the line as Velasquez fellow Kings of the Street take on rivals Natural Storm. This may be Natural Storms last chance at the belts, and so far the Kings have managed to stay a step ahead in their rivalry can Natural Storm overcome the tactics of the Kings and finally get their hands on the FCW Tag Team Championship. The number one contendership will also be up for grabs as Kirk Jameson, The Sensational Singh and Charles Rainier all meet in a 3-way elimination match to decide who will next challenge Mainstream Hernandez for the Peoples Championship. After their shock loss to the debuting duo of Samuel (something about him seems rather fishy) and the 'rookie monster' Primus, the 937 Ib Express will meet their conquerers in singles action with Ox Mastadon taking on Samuel and King Kong Kennedy facing off with Primus. The Express' manager Stetson Hatt has promised that revenge will be paid back in full. Finally Bradford Peverall continues his growing feud with the Messiah's Circus as he teams up with the Young Americans to face off with the Leper Messiah faction in a Six Man Battle, while those who come early will be treated to all luchador action with Dragon Del Arco Iris facing off with Tigre Salvaje Jr on the pre-show. After around the seven minute mark Hocking eventually got the tag into Bradford Peverall. Peverall then cleaned house won the Messiah’s circus trio with a barrage of European Uppercuts. Eventually it was Peverall left with Leper Messiah, with the momentum behind him Peverall was able to gain the upper-hand and he was able to put Messiah down with the Rock-Hard Upper-cut. That looked to have ended the match, but Zonk broke it up just in time with the Zonk Bomb. Matt Hocking then dived in to make the save for Peverall. Joe Benning then joined Hocking back in the ring, and the pair took Zonk down with the Youth Attack (double team STO). However Leper Messiah (now recovered) got up on the apron and distracted the attention of Ryan Holland, Amo Del Gato then sneaked in and delivered chair-shots to both of the Young Guns, before discarding of the chair and rolling up Joe Benning for the victory. Result: Amo Del Gato, El Hijo Del Zonk and Leper Messiah defeated Bradford Peverell and The Young Americans in 9:16 when Amo Del Gato defeated Joe Benning by pinfall after using a foreign object. This was about 90 seconds of Samuel striking Mastadon with kicks, and then using is speed to move away from the near 465 Iber. Both Mastadon and his manager Stetson Hatt were getting increasingly frustrated by these tactics with each passing second. Eventually Hatt got up on the apron causing a distraction, at which point King Kong Kennedy then entered the ring, and all of a sudden Samuel was being double-teamed by the 937 Ib. Holland however managed to get his attention turned away from Stetson Hatt before King Kong Kennedy could make it out of the ring and realising what had gone on during the last ten seconds Holland called for the bell, giving Samuel the win via DQ Result: Samuel defeated Ox Mastadon in 2:01 when Ox Mastadon was disqualified, following interference from King Kong Kennedy. Rating: D- At this point though the 937 Ib Express don’t care about wins and losses and just want pay-back for their humiliating loss at the hands of Samuel and Primus, and they continue with the beat-down on the former Calamari Kid. However Primus charges the ring, despite still giving up some considerable size to either of the 937 Ib Express let alone both, the powerful 350 Iber manages to fend both of them off. Eventually spearing Mastadon out of the ring, Kennedy remains in the ring and Primus requests that the bell be rung for their match. Ratings: E- for both Post match attack and Primus saving Samuel from a further beating. Match #3: King Kong Kennedy vs Primus vs Primus continues to pound away on King Kong Kennedy, but he can't get the 470 Ib Mammoth of his feet, eventually Kennedy begins to absorb the punishment and starts coming back with offence of his own. It's all Kennedy for the next two minutes as he methodically (that's what O'Hara and Lynch tried to dress up Kennedy's slow plodding offence as) laid a beating on the 'rookie monster'. Primus looked like he was in alot of trouble and Kennedy went in to finish off with the Kennedy Krush, but he eats the turnbuckle as the deceptively quick Primus moves out of the way. Kennedy staggers out the turnbuckle, spear from Primus doubles Kennedy over, Primus then springs off the ropes with a high speed shoulder tackle (O.O.C: think Monty Cor Marquis Von Brown's pounce) which puts Kennedy down and then out. Pretty ugly match, which went at-least a minute too long. Without actually announcing it with much fanfare, this was the end of the 937 Ib Express. Kennedy's contract comes up at the end of the month and I can't really justify renewing it. Ox Mastadon still has a bit to run on his contract, so he's in a bit of limbo at the moment but I do have a few idea's swirling round my head with what I can do with him. Jameson and myself start and we're soon taking it to the mat. Jameson who prides himself on being a skilled technician feels he should have the advantage but I frustrate him by going hold for hold. He soons has enough and delivers a clubbing fore-arm to my chest, before lifting me up and dumping me with a German Suplex, but I was able to flip over onto my feet and as Jameson turns around I stun him with an Enziguri. Jameson staggers back and just happens to be lucky enough to stagger into he corner of The Sensational Singh who makes the tag. Singh slingshots himself back in and takes me down with a flying shoulder tackle, but I bounce right back up and take him over with an arm-drag, Singh pops back up and we have a fast paced running the ropes/leaping over one another sequence until I was finally able to rock Singh with a drop-kick. Singh staggers back up and I follow in with a running knee............ One....... Two........ Singh kicks out, I then spring off the ropes into a quebrada, but Singh gets the knees up and rolls me up with a small package......... One.......... Two........... I kick out, and then begin to fire back with some fore-arms, I then go to whip Singh into the ropes, but he counters with a simple thumb to the eye and plants me into the mat with a russian leg sweep. Singh then tags Jameson back in, who measures me and then follows in with a few simple stomps. 'The Marksman' then drops down and he puts me in a stretch plum, wrenching back on my neck, I start to fight to my feet but Jameson then lifts me up and plants me back down with a front suplex. He then delivers a few elbow drops and then goes to lock in the 'Best Submission in the World Ever' (O.O.C: Bryan Danielson's Cattle Mutilation) But I see it coming and am able to counter by flipping my body over, and all of a sudden Jameson found himself in a pinning predicament....... One........... Two............ Jameson kicked out. As we got back to our feet, Jameson then tried to suplex me, but I was able to fight out with elbows. Kirk then delivered a kick to the mid-section and set me up for the Finisher #1 (wrist clutch olympic slam), but I fought it of and countered with a swinging DDT. However I was too worn down to make the cover. Both Kirk and I tried to make it across to Singh, to get the fresh man into the match and to help keep ourselves away from the risk of being pinned.....I got across first but Singh suddenly dropped down off the apron and it was clear that the two heels were working in cahoots to try and eliminate me from the match first. Jameson then came charging in toward me, but I managed to move out the way and the Marksman ended up colliding with Singh who was now back on the apron. Jameson staggered back and I went for a quick roll up........ One............ Two........ Jameson kicked out. Jameson then re-took control with a couple of fore-arm smashes, before trying to Power-Bomb me but I countered with a head-scissors take-down. Sensational Singh then tried to enter and get a cheap shot in on me, but I saw him coming and drop-kicked him off the apron, before heading up to the top turnbuckle. I steadied myself for the moonsault but Jameson was back up, and I soon found myself being brought back in the hard-way via a belly to back superplex. Both us get back up. Singh then comes into the ring and gets a few cheap shots in on me, before being ordered back to his corner, however that gave Jameson enough time to recover and then dump me with a German Suplex.......... One....... Two........... I was able to kick out again. Jameson was beginning to become frustrated, he lifted me back up and delivered some fore-arms before whipping me against the ropes, he then went for a Lariat but I was able to duck under, and sprang off the ropes to catch him with a springboard Enziguri. I then followed up with the drop-sault but Jameson was able to block it in mid-air and countered into a sit-out power-bomb ! One...... Two.......... I kicked out again, but Jameson now had an opening to get Singh back into the match, and as I staggered back up to my feet, I found myself being clotheslined by the flamboyant Indian. Singh then strutted round the ring, like he had just won the match, but I was far from done and I was able to take him down with a suprise roll-up.......... One........... Two............ I almost made Singh pay for his arrogance, but not only had he kicked out he had managed to grab hold of my legs and put me in his Figure-Four submission he calls the Singh It Back. I tried to get to the ropes, but Kirk Jameson's manager Maryam Vega got involved by distracting Ryan Holland by losing her feminine charms. Kirk Jameson then sneaked back in, and delivered a series of elbow drops, as Singh kept the submission locked in. When Holland did turn around, Jameson had scurried back off to the corner and I was out of it , worn down from being in the Figure Four for so long. Holland checked on me, and then called for the bell. Elimination #1: Charles Rainier at 10:27 Jameson then came back into the ring, and he shared a handshake with Singh , both had a c0cky smile on their face, pleased that their plan had come together. Singh however pulled Jameson towards him then sneaked in a low blow, before pulling the tights of Jameson, and then taking 'the marksman' by suprise with a roll-up............ One........ Two......... Jameson kicked out with authority, with Jameson now realising that he was every man for himself he exploded into life, peppering Singh with a barrage of fore-arms and knee strikes. Singh looked out on his feet and Jameson looked be setting up for the finisher #1 but Singh countered with a simple back rake. The Sensational One, then took Jameson down with a Bull-Dog, he then waited for Jameson to get back to his feet before taking Jameson's legs out fro underneath with a basement drop-kick. Singh then immediately went after Jameson's legs and locked on the Singh it Back. But just as it looked like Jameson was going to tap out he turned the leverage over, it was now Singh trying to get to the ropes, but just as he did Maryam Vega swatted his hand away. With Vega blocking the way Singh had to try and reverse the leverage back, somehow he managed to do that and Jameson was now fighting to get to the ropes. However he had a free pass to the ropes and was able to force Singh to break the hold. Singh incensed by Vega's involvment in the match, grabbed hold of the valet's hair, but that proved to be a foolish mistake as Jameson clubbed him from behind and then droved the Sensational One into the canvas with the Finisher #1 One......... Two.......... Three ! Kirk Jameson is the new number one contender to the Peoples Championship. This offered up something a little different from the normal three-way , with the two in, one out format and with the two heels working together, there was a solid foundation to help build a story upon. All in all it resulted in a good match, between three of the promotions better mid-card talents. Result: Kirk Jameson defeated Charles Rainier and The Sensational Singh in 14:58; the order of elimination was Charles Rainier first, and finally The Sensational Singh. Rating: C- _______________________________________________________ Shawn Gonzalez is getting ready in the locker-room, when Hells Bouncer comes bursting through the door. Chavez is paired up with Howard and Galindo with Rayne. Howard and Chavez take their brawl into the crowd, whilst Rayne and Galindo duke it out in the ring. Galindo takes down Rayne with a swinging DDT and then gets c0cky by going up to the top rope for a Latino Press. Rayne moves out of the way and Galindo crashes and burns, Galindo then stagges up to his feet and Rayne follows in with a swinging neckbreaker, that earns a two count but it looks like Natural Storm are turning things around, Eddie Howard and Chavez bring their brawling back to the ringside area, Chavez tries to send Howard into one of the guard-rails, but the 'Natural' blocks it and levels the big man of KotS with a clothesline. Back inside Galindo blocks an attempt at the Storm Damage by D.C Rayne and counters with a DDT. Galindo then goes out onto the apron and springboards himself back in, but instead of taking down D.C Rayne he is practically killed in mid-air by a Powerline from Eddie Howard. Howards not the legal man however, so Rayne makes the cover. Just as it looked like the tag titles were going to change hands, Chavez dived in to make the save before being ordered back to his corner by Ryan Holland. Things settled down for a bit with Natural Storm working over Galindo in their corner. Eddie Howard looked to finish things by whipping Galindo into the ropes and going for another Powerline, but Carlos Batch grabbed hold of Howard's foot, causing Howard to stumble.Galindo took advantage with a leg-lariat before rolling over to get the tag into Jesus Chavez. Chavez immediately went to work on the fallen Eddie Howard, turning the tables and bringing 'the Natural' back into the Kings Corner. Howard tried to make a good fist of trying to fight back to his corner but everytime it looked like he was about to break free, the Kings would come in with a cheap-shot that would cut him off (ineventiably Carlos Batch also got involved). The Kings methods, somewhat predictably raised the ire of D.C Rayne but his protestations weren't really helping his partner. With Eddie Howard worn down the Kings then went for the Latino Flip-Out (Elevated SSP) but as Galindo landed, Howard got the knees up. Chavez then moved in but was met with an explosive clothesline, which sapped all the energy out of Howard but left both of the Latino Kings down on the canvas. As they struggled to their feet it was Howard and Galindo up first, Galindo tried to kick the legs out from underneath the bigger man, but Howard stayed on his feet and came back with another clothesline before, finally getting the tag into D.C Rayne. Rayne came in like a house on fire, taking down both of the Kings with fore-arm smashes and knee lifts, eventually sending both of the tag champions out of the ring. Carlos Batch then tried to lead his troops back up the ramp, but Natural Storm were having non of it, and they were able to bring the Kings back into the ring. It's at this point that Ryan Holland really starts to lose control, suddenly out of no-where D.C Rayne downs Hector Galindo with the Storm Damage (Leg Hook Brainbuster) but at the same time Jesus Chavez avoided a Powerline from Eddie Howard and counters with the 187 Neckbreaker. Both of them make the pin at the same time........ One........... Two........... Three !! But the fans nor Holland are sure who really won, Carlos Batch unsure of the outcome himself, grabs the belts clocks D.C Rayne in the head with one of them and then helps Jesus Chavez carry Hector Galindo back up the ramp as they scurry away with the belts. It appears that the Latino Kings are still the champions but once again Natural Storm will feel that they've been robbed. These two teams have been feuding for a while now and they seem incapable of raising their level against one another, above the same level of averageness that plagues all of their performances. Saying that their matches may have been better if Rudy was still involved but out of the Kings he's the one most likely to break out as a singles performer, which is why I had Chavez take over in the tag team. Result: Kings of the Street (Chavez & Galindo) drew with Natural Storm in 10:36 when there was a double pin. Velasquez staggers back up to his feet and Hernandez points to Handsome Stranger , signalling that he wants the former Peoples Champion in the ring, Velasquez tags out to Stranger and once again these two rivals lock up. We go into another chain wrestling sequence and once Hernandez is a step ahead on every exchange. The People's champion catches his rival with a beautiful drop-kick and Stranger tumbles out of the ring. Hernandez then goes for a dive but that proves to be a mistake, as Stranger clocks him an simple elbow shot, turning the match a full 180. What ensued for about the next ten minutes was an over-long beat-down in the heels corner, as Velasquez and Stranger took turns to get in cheap shots at every opportunity, whenever they tagged out to one another. Puerto Rican Power's rage was building up as he looked on helplessly, as everytime he tried to come in to make the save Ryan Holland would cut him off, then the heel duo would have more free-reign to beat down on Hernandez. Eventually P.R Power had seen enough, exploding past Holland, and then ploughing through both Velasquez and Stranger with a double clothesline. He then took Velasquez crashing down onto the mat with a huge back body drop, and then snapped off a powerslam on Handsome Stranger. Power then went back to his corner, as he willed on his partner to make the tag. Velasquez then sprang back in and tried to take Hernandez down with a flying clothesline, but the Peoples champion used his wits and nailed the KotS member with a super-kick in mid-air before slumping back onto the mat. Hernandez finally got the tag into Puerto Rican Power, Stranger charged at Power but was taken down with an Atomic Drop and was then downed with a spinebuster, he goes for the cover but Velasquez break up the pin with a senton. Stranger and Velasquez then try to take P.R Power over with a double team suplex, but the iconic champion, ends up taking both of them over with a suplex of his own. Power then picks up Rudy Velasquez with a Full Nelson, he's about to go for the San Juan Impact, but Stranger crotches him with a low blow from behind, causing Power to release the hold. Velasquez catches Power with a Cutter, the champion staggers back and Handsome Stranger plants him into the mat with La Gota. Power looks like he might be down and out, Mainstream Hernadez comes in to break it up. P.R Power then rises back to his feet and the heel duo try to take him down but all of a sudden he starts becoming impervious to pain, he sends Stranger out of the ring with a fall-away slam, then he downs Velasquez with the SAN JUAN IMPACT !! But he's too worn down to make the cover. Power got the tag into Hernandez who took down Velasquez with a Leg Lariat. Velasquez then staggered up to his feet but was immediately felled with the PONTIAC TO HOME (Swinging Reverse STO). Stranger dove back into make the save. The former Peoples Champion then clubbed away on Hernandez and goes for the Catalan Twist, Hernandez had it scouted and downed Stranger with a leg-sweep....he then headed up top. Velasquez came back in to intefere but Power sent him over the top rope with a clothesline. Hernadez still on top comes down on Strangers sternum with the APPARTION # 14, and that seals the victory for the all-champion 'dream team'. That got pretty good once P.R Power got invoved in the match, but the face in peril segment was overlong and uncreative and in the end it took away from what should have been a better match. Result: Puerto Rican Power and Mainstream Hernandez defeated Rudy Velasquez and Handsome Stranger in 18:20 when Mainstream Hernandez defeated Handsome Stranger by pinfall. Rating: D+ _______________________________________________________ We then get a video hyping up the main event, the Last Man Standing match between Hells Bouncer and Shawn Gonzalez, highlighting the intense hatred that these two have built up for one another over recent months. Rating: D+ Match # 7: Last Man Standing/Puerto Rican Title Contenders: Hells Bouncer vs Shawn Gonzalez vs Hot opening as they come brawling through the crowd, picking up from where they left off earlier in the night, when they were found to be brawling with another backstage. It seemed that security personnel could only keep them apart for so long. After some basic punch and kick exchanges, Gonzalez manages to make Hells Bouncer double over with a flurry of knee strikes to the gut, he then picks up a trash can and goes to plonk it over the back of the near seven footer, but Bouncer pops back up to vertical base and kicks the can out of Gonzalez hand before lifting the Lone-Wolf Up and launching Gonzalez onto a pile of chairs. Gonzalez lands hard, and Bouncer request that Holland makes then ten count. Gonzalez gets back up to his feet around seven but Bouncer cuts him off with more clubbing blows, Gonzalez however grabs a chair from the pile he landed on, and he fires it into Hells Bouncers gut, Hells Bouncer doubles over and Gonzalez asks the fans to hand him chairs, they duly oblige and Gonzalez rains in about ten chair-shots on the back of Hells Bouncer with ten seperate chairs (One would have done the same job, but Gonzalez is face and it's all about fan interaction) Somehow Hells Bouncer is still on his feet, and he begins to fight back once again, some more basic brawling follows ,which eventually leads to them making it into the ring, they brawl through the ring and to the other side, where Hells Bouncer takes full control again by whipping Gonzalez into the ring-steps...he then grabs a chair, and rains down some chair-shots on Gonzalez. The hellacious monster then goes to set up a table across the apron and the barricade, he then picks a dazed Gonzalez up, it looks like he's going to go for a power bomb through the table but Gonzalez grabs hold of another chair and he fires in some more shots to the mid-section. Hells Bouncer then goes to send Gonzalez into one of the barricades, but the Lone Wolf comes back with another chair shot, this time Bouncer is well and truly dazed. Gonzalez then makes a tactical retreat to head into the ring... .Bouncer follows in him but Gonzalez was a step ahead and he hits a basement drop-kick on the legs of Hells Bouncer. Bouncer staggers back and Gonzalez springs off the ropes to hit another drop-kick. At this point Bouncer is really struggling to stand, Gonzalez grabs another chair and fires in some more chair shots, somehow Bouncer is still on his feet but Gonzalez sets a chair up in the seated position. Hells Bouncer was still on his feet but could barely move, Gonzalez then decided to look for more plunder and emerged with a baseball bat, he went to hit home run on Bouncer, bu the big man squatted it out of his hand, with a big-boot. Bouncer then lifted Gonzalez up for Power Bomb, but Gonzalez managed to fight out with elbow shots to the head, and then he drilled Hells Bouncer with a Howl In The Wind onto the chair that was set up in a seated position. Gonzalez then asked Holland to make the the ten count................. Hells Bouncer just about beat the count staggering up to his feet at nine, but Gonzalez followed in right away, once again taking the legs out from underneath the big man, this time with a baseball slide. The Lone Wolf then applied the Latino Crab , as he looked to wear down Hells Bouncer but then as if a fire had bit lit up inside, the monsterous near seven footer suddenly powered his back up to his feet, before driving Gonzalez backwards against the turnbuckle. Gonzalez then came charging out of the turbuckle but Hells Bouncer took him down with a big-boot, that sent Gonzalez out of the ring. Hells Bouncer soon went on pursuit of Gonzalez and delivered a few clubbing blows to re-take control. Gonzalez then tried brawling back and they ended up returning to wear the table was set up. Hells Bouncer took full control with some clubbing fore-arms over the back of Gonzalez, he then put his hands around Gonzalez throat, as if to deliver a two handed choke-slam and it looked like he was going to send Gonzalez through the table, but Gonzalez started to fight out with elbows again.... Hells Bouncer seemed determined though to send Gonzalez through the table with a Damnation Drop buy Gonzalez appeared just as determined to fight his way out of it.....then all of a suddent Gonzalez countered with a DDT just as he was about to get sent through the table......Hells Bouncer was sent crashing through the table but Gonzalez had sent himself through it at the same time ! Ryan Holland then started to count to ten, with both men laid out on top of the wreckage......... Eight................. Nine..................... Both are starting to stir Ten !! With no winner decided, who gets the title shot against Puerto Rican Power ! The intense rivalry these two had built up for one another lifted this to be a reasonably good main event, but that could hide the fact that this was a pretty generic brawl and that Gonzalez was totally holding the match during the last three or four minutes, as Bouncer's already sluggish looking offence began to look even more sluggish as he started to run out of steam. If they went about a minute longer, Bouncer probably would have literally been dead on his feet and not in a Kayfabe way. Hold up a minute there playa, whats all this bull about the tag straps being vacant, no one beat us for dis bling, so we still the champions fool. Rico Santana: According to Ryan Holland either yourselves or Natural Storm could have been the champion at the end of the match, so the belts have been declared vacant. Carlos Batch: This is like total bull and you know it. Rico Santana: You might think that, but the championship committee decides who holds the titles, they make the decisions, not you Mr Batch. So you could please kindly get Chavez and Galindo to hand their belts over. Carlos Batch then whispers something into the ear of Chavez and Galindo. Carlos Batch: Ok fool, we gonna co-operate, but this is like total B.S Batch and the now former tag champions make their way to the ring. No one tells the Kings of the Street what to do, we still the champs you got that, we hold the bling and there ain't gonna be a thing you can do....Yeah ! Yeah ! Yeah ! Kings of the Street, fool, you got that, Kings of the Street Batch then lights up one of his customary cigars and blows the smoke into the face of Rico Santana. The Kings then depart as Santana is left in a heap, choking on Batch's cigar fumes (I've given up worrying about the possible smoking ban fines, I'm sure with his stature Mr Lopez aka P.R Power has this covered) Rating: E+ ____________________________________________________________ Overall: D First real disappointment, I think number one rule is that the main event will be a P.R Power title defence and then end it with him kissing babies etc. I tried something a little different and whilst it wasn't a total disaster, it didn't quite work. Attendance was also a let down, but rather frustratingly despite the economy levels being at their highest ever peak, unfortuntely interest in wrestling itself is waning. It still increases our popularity but compared to the standards we had been setting, a D rated show is a bit poor. It's vital we come back with a very strong effort for the next show. On the plus side I was involved in the match of the night but I would have traded that for a better main event.
