In front of 8,955 fans in The Theatre Of Dreams</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong><em>Minutes ago..</em></strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> We are in the car park with Ana Garcia waiting expectantly while a limo pulls up. The door opens and we are greeted by the ever familiar faces of Christian Faith and Jack Bruce, both looking focussed and intense as they step out the back and slam the doors behind them. Ana tries to get a few words.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red">Ana: “Jack Bruce! Christian Faith! Can I have a couple of words with you guys? Jack? Jack? Christian?”</span></p><p> </p><p> The two charismatic superstars try to ignore Ana as they head off with their things into the arena, but persistence always pays off when you try to get two extremely talkative guys like these two to say something</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:green">Jack: “Ana… tonight, we’re going to settle the score with Vengeance. He’s almost impossible to be found if he doesn’t want to be and he’s more than happy to attack from behind when he’s got the chance… but tonight, we’re going to go set a few things straight with him once and for all.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue">Faith: “You see, me and Jack here have been talking and he finally understands that it wasn’t me that lowered that guitar in during the cage match at When Hell Freezes Over. And after what Vengeance done to me last week, smashing me from behind and bashing my brains in on the cold concrete deep inside the Connecticut Symphony Hall… well, lets just say I think we’ll be more persuasive if we work together.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red">“Do you really think it’s wise trying to find Vengeance tonight? He’s a complete psychopath who’ll stop at nothing to hurt you both.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:green">“Ana, we may be fighters but tonight isn’t about violence, But if Vengeance keeps on walking his path of destruction, then tonight he’ll find himself hit with a major roadblock in the shape of two of the greatest SWF World Heavyweight champions of all time.”</span></p><p> </p><p> And with that, Jack Bruce and Christian Faith head into the building to look for the one man in the SWF that no-one else dares to deliberately seek out, the psychotic behemoth known as Vengeance…</p><p> </p><p> </p><hr><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center"><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline">Enygma Vs Brett Biggz</span></strong><span style="text-decoration:underline"> </span><span style="text-decoration:underline"><em>w/Jessie</em></span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> The announce team put over that Engyma is on the hunt to get a rematch with Marc DuBois after their clash at When Hell Freezes Over, with Enygma looking to make sure that DuBois’ quest to beat all the SWF World Heavyweight champions will only succeed if he can pull off clean victories. But DuBois is a busy man, being the reigning SWF Shooting Star champion and Enygma has to earn his match by proving himself to be worthy of a shot at the belt in order to get his chance at facing the talented youngster again. This match is the first of Enygma’s 2 required attempts to prove himself and after an entertaining back and forth match, Engyma manages to secure the Enygma Variation (ankle lock) on his opponent and the former World champion picks up a submission victory against the flashy aerial artist following a missed moonsault.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>WINNER: Enygma</strong></p><p> </p><p> The former champion looks pleased with himself, at least as far as we can see under the mask, and lets a camera know that he’s gunning for DuBois, ready to teach him a thing or two about being a World championship calibre wrestler.</p><p> </p><p> </p><hr><p> </p><p> Backstage, we join Joe Sexy acting very strangely as he creeps from one doorway to another, looking both ways as he moves as if trying to not be seen by someone. As he creeps from one doorway to another he hears someone coming and panics, ducking into the nearest door only to have some mops fall out at him… he tries desperately to gather them up before he is spotted by SWF’s resident interviewer, Ana Garcia.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red">Sexy: “This isn’t what it looks like.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue">Ana: “I… don’t even know what this looks like.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red">“You never saw me…”</span></p><p> </p><p> Despite himself, Joe can’t help checking out Ana’s legs from his vantage point of the floor. She stands six feet tall and is, as ever, flaunting this fact with a short dress and killer heels.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue">“Up here Joe.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red">“… and I was never hear, ok?”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue">“What are you hiding from?”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red">“Hiding? Me? I don’t hide from anything! Joe Sexy runs from no man. As a matter of fact, I’m just… just…”</span></p><p> </p><p> Having barely had enough time to get to his feet, Sexy becomes mesmerised as a very pretty blonde in a tight white dress walks past, pouting and looking like something has upset her. Joe can’t keep his eyes off her as she walks away and even crawls on his knees to get a slightly longer glimpse of her as she turns a corner out of sight.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue">“Joe? Joe? Hey, you still awake in there?”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red">“Who was that?”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue">“Her? That’s Jenny Playmate, she joined with…”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red">“She’s beautiful! She’s.. she’s… BEAUTIFUL!”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue">“Oh god, not again…”</span></p><p> </p><p> Joe gets a far away dreamy look in his eyes, overcome with a sense of lust that takes over every aspect of his mind. So much so that Ana even waves her hand in front of his face a couple of times trying to snap him out of the trance he’s in but to no effect. A familiar bald headed man walks in front of Joe and knows how to deal with the problem, hitting him with a stiff chop to the chest to wake him up.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red">“What did you do th… aw, nuts.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:green">Gilmore: “I recognise that look on your face, Joe. I know that glint in your eye, Joe. You saw another girl walk past, didn’t you? And now you probably think you’re madly in love with her and will do anything you can to get her.. and then when you do, it’ll wear off again and you’ll realise she’s just another piece of skirt, no offense Ana…”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue">“None taken”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:green">“… and that you’ve wasted another 3 months chasing after some easy goal rather than concentrating on your wrestling career. You’re a great wrestler Joe, but you need focus.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “But she’s b….”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:green"> “Beautiful, I’m sure. We’re up next and I can’t help thinking you’ve been avoiding me again Joe. We’re gonna wipe the floor with the Samoan Wildboyz, just like we did when we won those tag belts last year. And then, we’ll be one step closer to once again being the SWF World Tag Team champions. Champions, Joe. Champions!”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “Aww…..”</span></p><p> </p><p> And with that, Gilmore drags Sexy away to the arena for the match, while Joe keeps looking back in the vain hope that he’ll be able to get one more look at Jenny Playmate, but it is not to be…</p><p> </p><p> </p><hr><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center"><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline">Akima Brave and Kid Toma</span></strong><span style="text-decoration:underline"><em> w/BJ O’Neill</em></span><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong> VS Joe Sexy and Angry Gilmore</strong></span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Surprise, surprise… Joe Sexy spends much of this match looking like a lost puppy, spending much of the time on the apron while Gilmore has an exciting handicap match with the young Samoans. Joe doesn’t even try to sleaze on BJ O’Neill at ringside, despite having a name that he’d normally jump on the opportunity to make a wide range of family unfriendly remarks at. Gilmore spends most of this match in back and forth action with Akima and Toma, with Joe Sexy breaking up any negative momentum built from time to time before Gilmore eventually hits the Anger Management (forward Russian legsweep/the Stroke) on Kid Toma to pick up the victory for his team.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>WINNERS: Joe Sexy and Angry Gilmore (Sexual Aggression)</strong></p><p> </p><p> Despite the victory, Gilmore doesn’t look happy at his partner but nothing comes of it as both men head to the back together.</p><p> </p><p> </p><hr><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="22409" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center"><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline">SUPERSTAR PROFILE</span></strong></p><p> <span>http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c33/DerekB83/SWF/SteveFrehley.jpg</span></p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline"> “The Dark Destroyer” Steve Frehley</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Ever since his debut in August 2004 with a victory over 4 time SWF World Heavyweight champion Sam Keith, “The Dark Destroyer” has left a trail of destruction in his wake. Unbeaten from his debut until October 2006, Frehley picked up countless victories with his explosive high impact style, crushing opponents with his devastating spear and eliminating all before him with the Frehley’s Comet move that no-one kicks out of.</p><p> </p><p> His epic rivalry with the equally destructive Runaway Train saw Frehley end Train’s 12 month reign with the SWF World Championship, a title he would defend for 9 months before the Runaway Train would finally topple the fastest rising star in SWF history, ending the streak in dramatic fashion. Steve Frehley never backs down from a challenge and is afraid of no man, and in 2008 he looks set to once again walk along the path to championship glory, destroying anyone who dares to stand in his way.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><hr><p> </p><p> Backstage, the ever vigilant SWF camera crew have picked up on a disturbance in the force… I mean, locker room.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red">Big Smack Scott: “You know what, it’s STILL your fault that we didn’t beat the stupid Bumfholes last week.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:green">Kurt Laramee: “My fault? You were the legal man at the time! If you’d just have gotten yourself into the ring we would’ve won that match!”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “And just how was I supposed to get in the ring when you couldn’t even keep those vanilla midgets away from me? You should just go back to DAVE and get back to wrestling in bingo halls”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:green"> “DAVE died you moron, it couldn’t function with it’s star, ME! And if you can’t deal with one vanilla midget and get into the ring then how can you even expect me to deal with two?”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “Don’t try to turn this back on me, that was your fault!”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:green"> “Was not!”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “Was!”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:green"> “Was not!!”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “WAS!!”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:green"> “WAS NOT!!!”</span></p><p> </p><p> Before anyone else is forced to be subject to this weird and wonderful form of punishment, the two men are interrupted by a man blowing a whistle and shouting at them. Laramee and Scott stop arguing for a moment to get a look at the short, rotund man in the brown suit and baseball cap… like predators watching a deer walking into the middle of their pack.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center"><span>http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c33/DerekB83/AbrahamSlam_alt.jpg</span><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline">Kenny Korba</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “And who are you, whistle man?”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue"> “My name is Kenny Korba…”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:green"> “And what do you want, Kenny Korba?”</span></p><p> </p><p> Both Scott and Laramee talk in a voice that drips sweetness but fails to hide any of the malice lurking just below the surface. Almost imperceptibly the two men start to circle around Korba, getting one on each side of him in a slow deliberate manner. Korba nervously clears his throat.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue"> “I, uh, saw you guys last week on Supreme TV… most weeks in fact. And I can’t help noticing that aside from a couple of minor.. uh, barely noticeable flaws that you guys are *gulp* a perfect tag team! You should be champions!! I’mamangeryouseeandIthinkIcouldhelpyouguystobecomeSWFWorldTagTeamChamponsifyou’dletmemanageyou!”</span></p><p> </p><p> Feeling the pressure as Scott and Laramee stalk closer to their prey, Korba rushes out a lot of words as quickly as he can and gets to his point without the excess flowery language and speech he had planned. Scott and Laramee look at each other for a moment and the air of menace seems to dissipate at the mention of the word champions.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “We’re listening, Kenny Korba.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue"> “I, uh, have been looking for some under-rated talents to manage in the SWF for a while now and after seeing you last week, I realised you would be perfect. You were up against the SWF World Tag Team champions and you had them reeling, I mean seriously in trouble. They might have the edge on you in a few areas… speed, technique, age, looks… butyouguysaretherealdealwhenitcomestobrawling! You’rethebest!!”</span></p><p> </p><p> Listing traits that Scott and Laramee don’t possess certainly wasn’t helping Korba but at least he realised that. The somewhat blubbery middle aged man looks nervous as heel to be between two of the least personable men in the SWF but even as sweat begins to run down his face he doesn’t back down.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:green"> “A manager, huh? So you could, like, get us good matches and stuff? Get us a real shot at the tag belts?”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue"> “I think I could…”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “Think?”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue"> “I mean I KNOW I could, given a little time! ”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “And what do you want in return? I ain’t never known anyone to want to help me without expecting something out of it. You ain’t getting your paws on my money, I earned that.”</span></p><p> </p><p> Oh gods… Kenny Korba, manager extraordinaire, has gotten to the stage of potentially talking money with Big Smack Scott and Kurt Laramee..</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue"> “Well, my standard fee is 10%... but I expect that under my management you can expect to be making 50% more than you currently are, so in the end you still make more money with me, even if you pay me.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:green"> “How do we know you’re not gonna try to steal our money? You can’t trust a manager, they’ll always break up with you when you tell them you’re off to bigger and better things.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue"> “Look, I promise not to steal your money or.. break up with you… or anything else. In fact, if you don’t start making MORE money while under my management then you won’t even have to pay me!”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “Hmmm…”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:green"> “Hmmm…”</span></p><p> </p><p> Scott and Laramee go into a huddle while Korba watches on... you can hear a few key words like “leave you?” and “money” and after a minute or so the two men break the huddle.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:green"> “You got yourself a deal, Kenny Korba. You manage us and we wont’ pay you til we get paid more money.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “But seriously though, if you’re managing us then we’ll have to help you get a better physique. You want to look more like the Smack Daddy here… ”</span></p><p> </p><p> Mercifully, we leave the newly formed little group of Big Smack Scott, Kurt Laramee and their new manager Kenny Korba and head to the ring for the next match…</p><p> </p><p> </p><hr><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center"><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline"> “Superstar” Robert Greene VS “The Natural” Sebastian Edwards</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Hard to classify if this was a surprisingly good match or if the Enygma/Biggz match earlier wasn’t up to expectations, but the fans seemed to enjoy this one about equally as much as the other. The announcers put over that Edwards and Greene are two graduates of the Class of 2007 but that Edwards snubbed his classmate for a handshake last week after he made his successful debut against Valiant. And so this match was signed. Both men demonstrated some good all round skills and put on a solid match but it came down to Greene once again showboating for the crowd (who didn’t seem into it) leading up to a Superstar Superkick attempt that Edwards caught before blasting him with a Natural Progression (impactful Fishermen’s suplex pin) that stunned Greene long enough to get the clean victory.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>WINNER: “The Natural” Sebastian Edwards</strong></p><p> </p><p> Edwards looks pretty smug with himself after the match as he heads to the back, leaving Greene to once again rue a missed opportunity.</p><p> </p><p> </p><hr><p> </p><p> Backstage we see Robbie Retro getting his afro into the best possible condition before busting out a couple of dance moves for the benefit of his mirror. A quick Fonz impression later and he’s ready to head out for the night, knowing he doesn’t have a match tonight, so he opens his door… to find Squeeky McClean standing in the doorway.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red">Squeeky: “I know what you’re up to Retro.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue">Retro: “Squeeky, my man. No hard feelings about that snafu in the club a couple of weeks back. Robbie Retro went home in the hands of a nurse who made everything a whole lot better, if ya dig what I’m saying.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “Enough! I don’t want to hear about your drunken debauchery! Don’t you realise that you are a bad example? This TV show goes out to millions of homes here in America and even overseas. You are supposed to be setting a good example, so that the kids can grow up to be mature, responsible adults. You should be more like me, more responsible. More mature. More serious.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue"> “My man, you’re asking me to go against nature itself. Robbie Retro loves having fun but he isn’t a fool. I’m always responsible, if you catch me drift.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “Drinking! Dancing!! Girls!!! Life is one big party to you, isn’t it.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue"> “Now you’re getting in my groove, man.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “Speak English damn it!! Retro, I’m not going to let you party yourself into an early grave, I can’t stand idly by and watch you drink your liver to death and dance yourself into oblivion. I just can’t silence that little voice that tells me I should help you. That’s why I’m here. I want to help you Retro, I want to help you become a better person. Be more like me.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue"> “Whoa, man. There’s already one of you around here, I don’t think the world could cope with another one. I’m sorry man, but I’ve got a date with a dance floor near hear and Robbie Retro never misses a chance to get his groove on.”</span></p><p> </p><p> Squeeky takes a step back as Retro pushes forward and heads out for the night in his usually bright red suit and matching heart shaped sunglasses. Squeeky watches Retro walk out of earshot before muttering to himself.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “You party tonight Retro… you party like it’s 1999… because for you, the party is almost over. You’ll see.”</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><hr><p> </p><p> Meanwhile in a different locker room and not something that could easily be a pre recorded segment, we join Groucho Bling, Elmo Benson, Lumpy Jones and Dawn the Cheerleader in the High Concept locker room. With a couple of big matches coming up next, they are obviously in the final stages of preparation for the matches and so they are… playing The Supreme Challenge video game?</p><p> </p><p> Lumpy watches on with dismay while Groucho and Elmo do impressions of the hulking behemoths on screen, making the destructive figures of Remo and Runaway Train do battle until they are interrupted by the door of the locker room flying open to reveal Eric Eisen.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red">Eric: “Hah, hope you enjoy your matches tonight losers. I told you I’d get you!”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue">Dawn: “Really, Eric? It’s weird because I thought that Elmo and Groucho were going up against Runaway Train and Remo tonight. But if you’ve made some changes so that it’s YOU that’s in the ring, then maybe you’re more of a man than anyone gives you credit for.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:green">Lumpy: “Uh… Dawn…”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “Shut up cheerleader, I don’t need to wrestle to get even with those two video game playing losers. You see, I’m an Eisen, and that gives me the power to do what I like around here. In fact, if you aren’t careful with that mouth of yours I could book you in a match.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue"> “Grow up Eric! You go back to your locker room and talk the ears off poor Enforcer Roberts, the friend your daddy pays for you to have. Meanwhile we’ll deal with things the way real wrestlers do, instead of crying to daddy about being caught with a silly prank, one you’d never have been hit with if you weren’t so greedy in the first place.”</span></p><p> </p><p> In the face of Dawn’s verbal beatdown Eric looks a little lost, while Lumpy tries to do his best to stop her from doing anything particularly stupid. In the background, Groucho and Elmo continue playing video games until Eric shrugs indignantly and storms back out the locker room, leaving the High Concept crew alone again.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:purple">Groucho: “Nice one Dawn. You sure told him.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:orange">Elmo: “Couldn’t have put it better myself.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:green"> “Guys, don’t you think it’s a bit… not smart to provoke him? I mean, he’s the son of the boss.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:purple"> “Meh, he needs to learn to grow up. BAM! Take that Remo!!”</span></p><p> </p><p> Groucho finally manages to finish Elmo/Remo with a huge Train Wreck (elevated powerbomb) and score the three count on the video game.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:orange"> “Ah, nuts. You got me this time. Will rematch you later.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:purple"> “I’m off to my match now guys. Hopefully this scouting has paid off.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:green"> “Scouting? Seriously?”</span></p><p> </p><p> A couple of high fives on the way out and Groucho is on his way to the ring for his match with Runaway Train, taking Dawn with him and leaving Elmo and Lumpy to what will probably be another round of the Supreme Challenge video game.</p><p> </p><p> </p><hr><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center"><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline">Groucho Bling</span></strong><span style="text-decoration:underline"><em> w/Dawn The Cheerleader</em></span><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong> VS Runaway Train</strong></span><span style="text-decoration:underline"><em> w/The Guru</em></span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> The barely contained rage that is Runaway Train tried to start this match at a high pace but Groucho is one of the quickest and most exciting workers in the SWF and easily manages to evade the big man, trying to chop him down with some kicks to the knee, keeping some separation between them and launching all manner of running attacks and flying attacks at the former SWF World Heavyweight champion. Train is clearly getting frustrated as the smaller man keeps evading him, but he eventually gets on the offense when he catches Groucho flying in with a massive decapitation clothesline. From there on it’s pretty much all Train as he unleashes his hard hitting arsenal on Groucho, causing Dawn to visibly wince at every impactful move Groucho suffers. A brief fight back enables Groucho to escape an attempt at the Train Wreck (elevated powerbomb) but he’s too weary to put together enough offense to trouble Train too much and falls victim to the Train Wreck moments later, the pinfall is inevitable.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>WINNER: Runaway Train</strong></p><p> </p><p> Dawn tries to help Groucho to his feet and help him to the back..</p><p> </p><p> </p><hr><p> </p><p> … where they bump into Elmo Benson and Lumpy Jones making their way towards the arena.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:green">Lumpy: “Seriously, if you guys just apologise to Eric then maybe he’ll…”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:orange">Elmo: “He’ll do what? Not give us high profile matches? Not abuse his power to get what he wants? Or maybe he’ll stop being a spoilt brat completely and turn into a decent human being? Come on Lumpy, I know you’re new around here but this is Eric Eisen we’re talking about. Born with a silver spoon in his mouth and spoiled all his life. Apologising isn’t an option, so I’m gonna go out there and do my best to beat Remo. Who knows, maybe Richard Eisen will even give me a World title match if I win.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:green"> “But…”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue">Dawn: “But nothing, Lumpy. Elmo’s right. Lumpy, you take Groucho back to the locker room… we’ve got a match to worry about.”</span></p><p> </p><p> Lumpy sighs and does what he’s told, taking Groucho’s weight and helping him to the locker room while Dawn escorts Elmo to the ring for his match. In the background we can hear a few familiar voices shouting but not quite hear what is being said.</p><p> </p><p> </p><hr><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center"><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline">Elmo Benson</span></strong><span style="text-decoration:underline"><em> w/Dawn the Cheerleader</em></span><span style="text-decoration:underline"><strong> VS Remo</strong></span></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> In many ways this match resembled the previous clash between Groucho and Train. Elmo started off trying to outquick his larger opponent but barely managed to do so, as Remo showed off his remarkable athleticism to find counters to Elmo’s rapid-fire attack, and then engaged him in some slick chain and mat wrestling too. Elmo’s game plan seemed to be in trouble as Remo began to get in close and unleash some painful clubbing blows and Dawn seemed concerned that her friend might be in trouble early on. Elmo kept fighting back though, coming up with some interesting ways to escape Remo’s clutches but ultimately Remo’s size and power overwhelm Elmo. Remo begins to dominate the match with some overhead belly to belly suplexes and then begins to run through his big spots, breaking out the Lumbar Puncture before hoisting Elmo to his feet by his arm and snapping him in half with a brutal Destroyer (snap STO). The pinfall is once again academic.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>WINNER: Remo</strong></p><p> </p><p> Remo barely has time to celebrate his victory before he’s interrupted by the wailing sounds of an electric guitar and the voice of the reigning SWF World Heavyweight champion, Jack Bruce.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue">Bruce: “Remo! I’ve been watching you the last few weeks and I’ve seen you beat a lot of SWF stars in pretty decisive fashion, including my good friend back there, Christian Faith. If you wanted an SWF World Heavyweight title shot, you didn’t have to come out here last week and play a video of me saying that Faith could easily be World champion right now… you didn’t have to try and make me look like I’m avoiding you. Remo, you just needed to come meet me, face to face, eye to eye, man to man and ASK for a title shot. Unlike Vengeance, I’m pretty easy to find and I’m a pretty reasonable guy. So at the Nothing To Lose PPV, just 9 days from now, you’ve got your title match.”</span></p><p> </p><p> And with that, Jack Bruce heads to the back to meet up with Christian Faith once again and continue to look for Vengeance, who continues to be impossible to find. Remo stands in the ring, intensity and fire in his eyes at the prospect of finally getting his chance to win the biggest and most prestigious championship belt in all of professional wrestling.</p><p> </p><p> </p><hr><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="22409" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center"><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline">SUPERSTAR PROFILE</span></strong></p><p> <span>http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c33/DerekB83/SWF/BigCatBrandon_alt2.jpg</span><span>http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c33/DerekB83/SWF/EmmaChase_SecretaryWF.jpg</span></p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline">“Big Money” Brandon James & Emma Chase</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Joining the Supreme Wrestling Federation in July 2007, “Big Money” Brandon James has become a backstage power player by working his business contacts to work his way into the favour of Richard Eisen. With the SWF World Heavyweight title in his sights, Brandon seems destined to be one of the SWF’s major power players for years to come and with Emma Chase by his side, it seems that he can do no wrong.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><hr><p> </p><p> Backstage, we join Ana Garcia with Rich Money prior to tonight’s main event match up. Richard Eisen, I don’t need to defend this belt again for another 14 days having faced Christian Faith for it just 2 weeks ago. I’m not just some average Joe you book matches for, I’m Rich Money. So if you want to try and teach little Eric some discipline and the consequences of his actions, you book him in a match, not me.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:green"> “For someone so confident in victory, you sure do seem upset that Richard Eisen booked you in a match tonight.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “No-one asked your opinion. After the referee holds up the belt and starts the match, Rich Money is quick to start using spoiler tactics despite being the slightly bigger, slightly stronger and more experienced of the two. Money uses this to his advantage to get into Giedroyc’s head early on and it’s Jack that makes the first mistake, allowing Rich to take an early advantage in the action. This continues for a while with Rich bailing to the ropes and even to the floor each time Giedroyc lands so much as a shot to the ribs. Giedroyc finally loses his patience with Rich as the referee tries to yell at Rich to get in the ring, allowing Giedroyc to leap right over the ref with a flying plancha dive that takes out the reigning champion and gives Giedroyc a lengthy period on offense as he follows up on that momentum creating move.</p><p> </p><p> Over the course of the match the strategies become more apparent, as Rich tries to ground Giedroyc while the challenger tries to daze and disorient the champion by using a lot of head strikes and wear down moves, working towards his finishing move. As we approach the closing sequence of moves, Giedroyc finds himself in a position to try for the Crashing On (Codebreaker) only for Rich to expertly counter the move by grabbing onto the ropes rather than trying to fight off Giedroyc’s weight. This leads to a frantic series of rapid fire pin attempts that I won’t try to describe, with almost a dozen near falls happening in less than a minute before the two men end up on their feet. Giedroyc tries for a running dropkick on Rich but is sidestepped and the out of position referee doesn’t even have a chance to see what hits him before being sent hurtling across the ring by Giedroyc’s ill fated move. Giedroyc tries to check on the referee but he doesn’t seem to be responsive, but this itself allows for Rich Money to sneak up behind the challenger and hit a perfect Money In The Bank (bridging German suplex)… but with no referee to count it, Rich ends up frustrated.</p><p> </p><p> Rich tries to revive the referee but to no avail before ending up walking into a Crashing On (Codebreaker) from Giedroyc and then the two men are down once more… which signals the arrival of the one and only Eric Eisen.</p><p> </p><p> The crowd aren’t at all please to see Eric’s presence and even less so to see him head to the timekeeper’s table and pick up the North American belt. As Rich and Giedroyc slowly make their way to their feet, Eric slides into the ring and checks to make sure that the referee is down. Giedroyc and Rich trade a couple of shots before Rich manages to slip behind Giedroyc, looking for a second Money In The Bank. As Giedroyc tries to struggle out of it, Eric sees his opportunity and runs across the ring with the belt…</p><p> </p><p> ….</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> … and hits Rich Money right between the eyes with it as Giedroyc ducks forward and evades the blow. Eric Eisen looks shocked and Giedroyc thinks quickly and catches Eric with a Crashing On, rolling him out of the ring in the process. The referee finally seems to pull himself together as Giedroyc makes the cover!</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> ONE!</p><p> </p><p> …..</p><p> </p><p> TWO!!</p><p> </p><p> …..</p><p> </p><p> <strong>THREE!!!</strong></p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center"><span>http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c33/DerekB83/SWF/SWF_NA.jpg</span><p> <span>http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c33/DerekB83/SWF/JackGiedroyc_alt.jpg</span></p><p> <strong>WINNER and NEW SWF North American Champion, Jack Giedroyc!!</strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> The crowd pop big time for the title change as Jack Giedroyc slowly pulls himself together and is handed the title belt by the still dazed referee. On the floor Eric Eisen can hear Giedroyc’s music playing and the announcement of the new champion and is visibly upset and frustrated… but he’s a picture of calm compared to Rich Money who is already seething as he rubs the spot on his head where he was nailed by the title belt by Eric Eisen.</p><p> </p><p> The announce team hype up the significance of the title change as the show comes to a close, and leave with a few final thoughts wondering about what happened to Christian Faith and Jack Bruce in their efforts to find Vengeance…</p><p> </p><p> </p><hr><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="22409" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline">Quick Results</span></strong><p> </p><p> - Jack Bruce and Christian Faith arrive, tell Ana that they’re hunting Vengeance tonight: B+</p><p> - Enygma defeated Brett Biggz: D</p><p> - Joe Sexy on the run from Angry Gilmore, bumps into Ana Garcia, falls in lust with Jenny Playmate then dragged to match by Gilmore: C</p><p> - Sexual Aggression (Joe Sexy and Angry Gilmore) defeat The Samoan Wildboys (Akima Brave and Kid Toma): C+</p><p> - Superstar Profile: Steve Frehley: B+</p><p> - Big Smack Scott and Kurt Laramee argument interrupted by Kenny Korba, who becomes their new manager: D+</p><p> - “The Natural” Sebastian Edwards defeats “Superstar” Robert Greene: D</p><p> - Squeeky McClean and Robbie Retro backstage confrontation: C</p><p> - Eric Eisen gloats at High Concept about getting even, Dawn pwns Eric: C</p><p> - Runaway Train defeats Groucho Bling: C</p><p> - High Concept crew debate apologising to Eric, won’t do it. Another good show; as usual, I enjoyed Sexy/High Concept/McClean's angles and I actually marked out when Giedroyc won. He's been one of my favorite characters since TEW2004 (when I was an all-round UK mark), but I've never seen him pushed in a diary (not that I read many...).

You called Edwards "Devine" once again in reference to last week. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<p></p><div style="text-align:center"><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline">Friday, February 5, 2008</span></strong></p><p> <span>http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c33/DerekB83/SWF/ChristianBlack_alt1.jpg</span><span>http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c33/DerekB83/SWF/RIPW.jpg</span><span>http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c33/DerekB83/SWF/ProfessorNero.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline">An Interesting Development</span></strong></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> Standing in front of a motley crew of wrestlers of all shapes, sizes and genders is the now familiar figure of Christian Black. The unfamiliar aspects of the scene are the faces in front of him, many of whom were only recently signed to the SWF’s child promotion since the start of the year. Standing two steps behind Black is a man famed for being an early adopter of real psychological warfare, a legend in the business of pro wrestling despite his relatively diminutive stature, Professor Mycroft Nero. While most of his career was spent terrorising the Texas area, his time in the SWF wasn’t without note either, and his most famous on screen rival, Chief Two Eagles, still works for the SWF in a backstage capacity as a road agent. Black is in mid-speech to the assembled masses in front of him…</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue">Black: “And so today will be your chance to have an influence on me, the Head Writer of the SWF. If you impress me with your ability to sell me your gimmick in the ring through a promo then I will take notice and I will report back to Richard Eisen himself. But I will repeat, this isn’t about trying to have the most exciting match possible. I don’t want anyone to hurt themselves trying to impress me. I’m looking for you to sell me your character, not wow me with moonsaults and suicide dives. Professor Nero has decided the matches for tonight. Everyone will have a chance to cut a promo and take part in a match, the assignments are up on the board over there and the first match will be…. RIPW champion, Nevada Nuclear against The Big Problem. Non-title, of course.”</span></p><p> </p><p> A nervous chuckle of laughter goes up from the assembled crowd, with some of the kids there not even out of their teen years yet. A colourful mix of personalities make up the RIPW roster, especially with the addition of so many new names recently and as the crew make their way over to the notice board to see who they will be working with, Nero and Black head back into a private office for a few quiet words.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red">Nero: “That was a good speech, young man. Just the kind of thing they need to hear from someone who has achieved so much at such a young age.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue"> “I… thanks, I guess. I try to do my best.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “You’ve got a good head on you, for a youngster. You still have a lot to learn of course, but it’s good to see that you are still working hard. Never get complacent, young man, that’s the secret. Never get complacent and always keep your eyes and ears open for learning new things. Those are some of the key lessons I teach here.”</span></p><p> </p><p> Just being in the same room as a legend like Professor Nero would still be enough to terrify old school fans of the Texas Wrestling League, where Nero’s brand of psychological warfare and intelligent violence made him one of the most dangerous heels in the history of pro wrestling. He introduced so many little things to pro wrestling that it’s hard to keep track of them all, with many of his tricks still being used by heels all over the pro wrestling landscape even now. If he’s being honest with himself, Black is a little bit star struck…</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue"> “I can’t disagree with you there, sir. No-one ever finishes learning, they only ever stop learning.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “Very good, very good! But enough of talking philosophy, you are here for a purpose and we should concentrate on that. Try outs for my students, yes?”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue"> “To be honest with you, I’m not actually sure if we will be calling anyone up for another couple of months at least. We just introduced a lot of new talent through the Class of 2007 angle and we need to concentrate on them for the next few months in order to establish them.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “I appreciate your honesty, young man. There is more, yes? You haven’t came to disturb their training just to tell me that.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue"> “As the SWF Head Writer I’m always going to be looking for ways to introduce new characters to the company and for ways to push them. RIPW is my first source of new talent as we pay you a lot of money to help develop them into SWF calibre performers. I’m here to get a first hand look at your students, see who might be ready for a call up and to start formulating ideas for their potential debuts.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “Good forward planning, that’s what I like to see. While we are being honest with each other, young man, I’d like to point out that many of the new signings are likely to need to stay here for… quite some time. I hear that some of them were signed in order to match the specs for some ideas you have. If that is the case then I hope those plans are at least six to twelve months away as it may take that long to teach the students what they need to know.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue"> “Yes, that is true. But the idea is sound and can provide a good number of undercard talents with plans that could go on for years. We don’t have much time to go over the ideas just now but at the end of today I’d love to have the chance to run some of my plans for the future by you. You know, get the Professor Nero seal of approval.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “It would be a pleasure… but we’ve got a lot of work to get through here today. Even is each group takes ten minutes to cut promos and work their matches we’re going to be doing this for at least three hours. We’ll see how much you want to talk about your plans by the end of that.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue"> “Sir, even if I was exhausted I’d still try to talk to you about the plans.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “Very good, young man, very good.”</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><hr><p> </p><p> The next four hours go by in a hazy montage of short promo videos for fictional angles created by the RIPW workers themselves between being told they were having training matches and actually having them. Perhaps spoiled by the incredible quality that the SWF possesses, where even Big Smack Scott can actually cut a pretty decent promo upon request, the standards of RIPW end up leaving something to be desired…</p><p> </p><p> … and to be fair on the RIPW roster most of the matches are also pretty poor, at best. It doesn’t take a long time for Black to be able to spot the new signings among the experienced Nero students, and following on from a decent Nevada Nuclear/Big Problem match (ending with a flash pin on Problem), the quality of the matches drops fairly quickly. But at the end of it all, Nero thanks everyone for their efforts and encourages everyone to make the most of the rest of the day by working on their physical skills as he retires back to an office with Christian Black.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “What did you think of the students, young man? I saw you taking a lot of notes.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue"> “It’s hard to say, to be honest. Before I venture an opinion though, I’d like to hear your thoughts. Is there anyone you think is ready for the main roster yet?”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “Interesting… countering a question with a question. But I’ll humour you, young man. At this time I’d say there are only a small number of people who could maintain a position in the SWF. Nevada Nuclear is ready for the call up in my opinion, he has a firm grasp of the basics and a style well suited for the company. Beyond that, I’d hesitate to send anyone to you at the moment though there are a few youngsters who could easily be ready with a month or two of polishing.”</span></p><p> </p><p> Christian Black looks down at his notes and sees that his list has a few more names on it than Nero’s. The man’s reputation as a perfectionist really isn’t much exaggerated and it shows through just by his desire to keep training youngsters who Black feels are probably at least as good as some of the main SWF roster.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue"> “I agree about Nuclear, I’ve got some ideas for him too that I’ll need to flesh out a bit before I’m happy with them though. I was also very impressed with the tag team match pitting Casey Valentine and Cameron Vessey against Eddie Howard and DC Rayne. They must be regular tag teams, yes?”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “Correct, young man. All four men are recent signings to RIPW and as such I won’t consider them ready for another month or two yet, but they all show signs of being very capable SWF grade workers.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue"> “I’m looking to expand the tag team division in the company too, we have a lack of midcard level heel tag teams and most of those four could also help fill out the heel side of the Shooting Star division too.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “Young man, I know it isn’t my place to lecture you about booking but do you think it wise to mix the tag team and Shooting Star divisions? I believe it would be wiser to simply sign more competitors to the Shooting Star division, though by it’s very nature it is hard to populate a largely high flying division with heels. High flyers tend to be popular after all.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue"> “I do agree with you there, sir, I do. But there are limits on how many people the SWF can support with just two hours of programming a week. Blending the two divisions at least helps to keep as many people on air as possible though it isn’t an ideal situation.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “And this women’s division?”</span></p><p> </p><p> Black looks a little uncomfortable, knowing that he’s trying to set up a women’s division when he already barely has enough time to fit everyone onto the show as it is.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue"> “It’s something to think about for the future, which is why we have a handful of girls training down here just now. With USPW doing well with their new women’s division it might finally be time for the SWF to bring one in too. There are some very talented girls out there.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “I’ll be honest with you, young man, I’m not sure it’ll ever take off and you don’t have enough TV time to give over to it to make people care. With TCW hot on the heels of the SWF right now, I’m not sure it’s a project worth undertaking. It doesn’t matter how close you get to the Eisens, if you do something that they can blame on you then they’ll let you go. Just look at Sam Keith. One of their most loyal workers for over a decade and blamed for that stupid election idea that was almost certainly not his idea. You watch out for yourself, young man, the Eisens are not your friends, you are just a resource to them, a way to make them more money, just like I am.”</span></p><p> </p><p> Black locks eyes with Nero and the two engage in a long stare down, both seemingly trying to work out what the other is thinking without revealing anything about themselves. Nero eventually breaks the stare by looking up.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “It seems that we have run out of time for today, young man. I really must try to help teach my students something today and I’ve still got some paperwork to deal with. I’m sure you understand what it’s like to have so much work to do and never enough time to do it in.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:blue"> “Of course… I’ve got to get moving myself, I told Richard Eisen I’d be at tomorrow’s house show with a draft of the show. I’ll leave you a rough draft too, if you’ve got the time I’d appreciate you reading it with a critical eye and emailing me some feedback. The address is on the front there.”</span></p><p> </p><p> <span style="color:red"> “I’ll see what I can do, young man. It’s been interesting spending time with you.”</span></p><p> </p><p> The tensions in the room are obvious but neither man seems willing to acknowledge them and as Nero leaves his own office to tend to his students, Christian Black is left with some questions he never even knew needed asking…</p><p> </p><p> </p><hr><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="22409" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center"><span>http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c33/DerekB83/SWF/SWF.jpg</span><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline">TV 4 (Go home show for PPV!)</span></strong></p><p> </p><p> <strong>MAIN EVENT: Jack Bruce and Christian Faith VS Shady K and Knuckles (Death Row)</strong></p><p> Groucho Bling vs Remo</p><p> Elmo Benson vs Runaway Train</p><p> Bart Biggz and Brett Biggz vs Angry Gilmore and Joe Sexy</p><p> Davis Wayne Newton and Nelson Callum (Triple Threat) vs Big Smack Scott and Kurt Laramee (Pain Alliance)</p><p> Enygma vs Kid Toma</p></div><p></p><p></p></div></blockquote>

<p>Good read about the Developmental, with a nice little history lesson about who Nero is. Personally I think you should push forward with a Women's division rather than expanding any of the others. Yeah, apparently it was some disasterous angle that Richard blamed Keith on, but we've just got to guess what actually happened :p

I couldn't find Kenny Korba on the database. What is he listed under?

Korba is another of my old e-wrestling characters, one of my favourites. He has a storied history as one of the most obnoxious, self centered and unlikeable guys around... so naturally he was a huge success when paired with a near silent heel. :)

For reference, I've added a few self created workers to this game to add a unique edge to it. So far we've seen Heath Harvey, Robert Greene, Kenny Korba, Sebastian Edwards, Lumpy Jones and Christian Black. There's one more to come too though I'm not sure when he'll actually get his own screen debut. EDIT: None of them are awesome workers but they are all good enough to be out of place on the SWF roster. They aren't over though so it will be a challenge for me to get them over and earn their spots on the roster.

The show has been delayed somewhat by a combination of work, mafia and my girlfriend's lengthy ongoing birthday celebrations. At this rate it'll be the start of her next birthday before this ons is over. :p

http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c33/DerekB83/SWF/SWF.jpg

LIVE! From the Louisiana Auditorium in front of a sold 10,000 crowd

We go straight to Richard Eisen’s office where we join him just in time to see Christian Faith and Jack Bruce finish putting their signatures to some important looking documents.

Eisen: “Gentlemen, with those signatures you put the final confirmation on our two biggest PPV matches for Nothing To Lose in just 2 days time. Thanks to those signatures we will see Christian Faith going up against Vengeance in a match to hopefully settle your differences once and for all. And in the main event, Jack Bruce will defend the SWF World Heavyweight championship against a man who is been on a tear through the SWF ranks as of late, the man known simply as Remo.”

Faith: “Spare us the hype, Eisen. I’ve tried to get Vengeance to listen, I’ve went out of my way to show him that it wasn’t me who lowered the guitar into the cage for Jack. Jack knows it, you know it and the entire world knows it because I SAID it wasn’t me. I’m a man of my word, Eisen and a man of principle, but at Nothing To Lose… I’m going to have to beat that message into Vengeance so that even he can understand why everyone should have faith...”

Bruce: “As for Remo… he challenged me to a title match and he’s got one. And I hope he’s ready because the only way he’s going to take this title belt from around my waist is over my dead body. This belt is going nowhere!”

Eisen has a glint in his eye as he watches his prized assets put over the PPV and he never misses an opportunity to make sure that people know there is a chance to see those stars on free TV if people stay tuned.

“Gentlemen, it’s been a few weeks since you had a match on television… and tonight I’ve honoured your request to have a tune up match against two men who are no slouches and who are always on the look-out to steal an opportunity, the dangerous tag team known as Death Row. Thanks again for your time.”

Enygma VS Kid Toma w/BJ O’Neill

The spectacular pyro intro and excited show intros from the announce team give way to a quick run down of some of tonight’s featured matches before the music of Enygma hits. The announce team put over the former SWF champion and his current mission to get another match with Marc DuBois, something that Enygma is doing to not only get even with the arrogant youngster but to also legitimise DuBois’ quest if he should be successful.

Kid Toma shows no signs of being star struck as he takes the match to the former SWF World champion in the early going, fearlessly throwing himself full tilt at his opponent while BJ O’Neill encourages him from ringside. Enygma fights back and the match becomes an open affair with both men showcasing their risk taking sides to the max, getting the crowd going before eventually Enygma shows his experience and takes advantage following a clever misdirection that causes Toma to crash and burn on a springboard dive. Enygma quickly locks in the Enygma Variation (ankle lock) but it takes a while for Toma to tap, having almost reached the ropes before finally being forced to tap when Enygma pulls him back into the middle of the ring.

WINNER: Enygma

Enygma looks like he’s had a tough match with Toma and his celebrations are quickly interrupted by the face of Marc DuBois appearing on the Supreme Screen, slowly applauding Enygma’s victory…

DuBois: “Well done, Enygma, another victory for you and another notch in your belt… it’s just a shame you won’t be getting your hands on this one at the PPV. You might be able to beat guys like Brett Biggz and Kid Toma there, but so can I. And lets not forget that four weeks ago, I beat you too.”

“Enygma, 2008 is the year that I take the first steps at cementing my legacy. I’ve beaten all of the most promising stars the SWF has to offer and now I’m ready to take the next step and beat all the stars. You are just the first Enygma… I will beat every SWF World Champion this company has to offer… twice, if necessary. See you at the PPV. ”

With a smirk of self satisfaction, DuBois walks out of shot with the SWF Shooting Star championship and we head backstage…

… where we see Squeeky McClean sneak attack Robbie Retro from behind! Squeeky is yelling at him

Squeeky: “No more debauchery! No more drinking!! No more sex!!! No more partying like it’s 1999!! This is for your own good, Retro!!”

Still filled to the brim with madness, Squeeky flails away at Retro without managing to knock him down. Retro tries to cover up against the wild assault as his heart shaped glasses are sent flying from him and he begins to get his wits about him and starts fighting back, wrapping his arms around Squeeky and charging him back into a wall. The two men start sloppily rolling and brawling on the floor until they are separated by SWF backstage staff.

“It’s for your own good, Retro! I’m saving you from yourself!!”

Retro: “If you want to save me then do it in the ring, Squeeky. It’s not cool to keep attacking me while I’m getting my groove on or when I’m just bopping along backstage. If you really want to mix things up with me, then meet me in the dance floor we call a wrestling ring and we’ll see who’s got the best moves.”

Squeeky doesn’t get a real chance to answer as he’s carted off by most of the backstage crew that arrived, with Retro just having a couple of guys standing between him and Squeeky. They know he’s cool… but Squeeky continues to kick and flail as he is carried off, leaving us with just a few more words of wisdom.

“Fooor yoooour ooooown goooooooood!!!!”

Davis Wayne Newton and Nelson Callum (Triple Threat) w/Heath Harvey

VS

Big Smack Scott and Kurt Laramee (Pain Alliance) w/Kenny Korba

A lot of new faces on screen for this match with no less than 4 of the 6 being newcomers to the SWF… and the other 2 being BS Scott and Kurt Laramee. Unsurprisingly this led to the crowd being a bit dead for this match though the exciting new youngsters did their utmost to rally the crowd while Korba tried to keep his new clients working with each other instead of against each other. With Korba directing traffic a couple of arguments were stopped as the Pain Alliance showed something vaguely resembling focus, even if not yet any real teamwork, and thanks to this they managed to pick up the win, with Big Smack Scott hitting Davis Wayne Newton with an Ego Trip (F-U/Attitude Adjustment) to pick up the win while Laramee roughs up Nelson Callum with more force than is strictly necessary even after the bell.

WINNERS: Big Smack Scott and Kurt Laramee (Pain Alliance)

The crowd seem happy the match is over and react a little more to the familiar faces of BS Scott and Laramee as they break out in their traditional pre, post and during match ritual of arguing about who the best wrestler is out of the two of them. Scott naturally proclaims himself to be better because he won the match while Laramee points out that Nelson would’ve broke up the pin if it weren’t for him… Korba tries to interject but is ignored, despite his attempts to point out that teams generally need to work together and that both men are needed for the team to be successful.

We cut backstage to a locker room where the ever popular Frederique Antonio Garcia looks somewhat stressed and red in the face. In front of him sits Joe Sexy, head resting in one hand, goofball grin on his face and staring off into the middle distance as if Garcia isn’t even standing in front of him with Andre Jones standing quietly behind him,

Garcia: “Sexy? Joe? Jooooe? Are you in there? Come on sweetie, snap out of it! You’ve been like this all week!”

Sexy: “….*sigh*…. she’s beautiful…”

Garcia: “Come on already! It’s been a week and you’re still like this? I have to say Joe, if you keep acting like this then you’ll lose me… as a friend! Come on, lets go do something fun. We can make Andre fetch us some colourful ****tails and then hit the town? Or maybe we could go catch a movie? Or even just go back to my hote….”

…*sigh*… she’s so perfect… what else could possibly be worth doing?”

Garcia looks concerned for Sexy as he slumps further down into his hand so that it messes up his almost perfect hair… despite this, the grin on his face becomes even broader and goofier, while Andre Jones holds his own head in his hands for entirely different reasons.

“Sweetie, you aren’t on drugs are you?”

…*sigh*… is love a drug?”

“Uh… no.”

…*sigh*… then no… she’s so smart too…”

“Damnit, Sexy! It’s not like you to lust after some girl you’ve only seen the one time, briefly, in a corridor…”

Andre Jones silently raises an eyebrow while Garcia thinks for a moment about what he’s saying…

“Okay, maybe it IS like you… but not like this. Not like some kind of sick puppy. What has she done to you, Sexy? What has she done?!”

Garcia considers shaking Sexy but decides it might not be a good idea to do that to a man he’s still trying to get on the good side of. His train of thought is derailed by the locker room door flying open as Angry Gilmore makes a startling entrance, causing Andre to quickly put himself between Gilmore and Garcia before he can work out the threat level to his boss…

Gilmore: “I knew I’d find you hiding here, Joe! We’ve got a number one contenders tag match next so get your game face on and let’s go!”

Knowing that Sexy tends to respond well to his special brand of motivation, Gilmore starts to head off before turning back to realise that Joe is still sitting there with a stupid grin on his face and a far away look in his eyes. Garcia watches over the scene with a scowl on his face.

“Joe?! You hear me?! We’ve got a match, right now! Joe? Joe?! JOE?!”

“It’s no good, he’s been like this for a week.”

“Did he see a girl?”

“Yeah…”

“Was she pretty?”

“I don’t know..”

“Ah, right yeah… shouldn’t really ask you. Joe, was she pretty?!”

…*sigh*… she’s the prettiest girl in the whole entire universe…”

Without warning Gilmore slaps the taste out of Joe’s mouth and Garcia has to be physically restrained by Jones, though Gilmore doesn’t see that. Gilmore grabs Joe by the shoulders and looks him square in the eye.

“Pull yourself together! We’ve got the chance to wear championship gold again if we can just win this next match. I need you out there and you need me to help keep you focused so that you don’t waste your talent!”

“…. Okay.”

“Good, lets go!”

Joe Sexy looks a little like a child who has just been scolded by his parents in the way he pulls himself to his feet sheepishly. Garcia can barely contain his fury that Gilmore slapped Joe, but Andre is doing his best to make sure that Garcia doesn’t do anything stupid… or stupider than normal at the very least. With Gilmore and Sexy gone, Garcia turns to Andre.

“Did you see? With the slap.. and the face.. one week! Nothing! And…”

“I know… I know… let’s just relax, I could make you a nice relaxing margarita, take your mind off things.”

“With an umbrella?”

“Of course…”

Garcia seems to relax a little as we finally head back to the ring for some more action.

Bart and Brett Biggz w/Jessie VS Joe Sexy and Angry Gilmore (Sexual Aggression)

For the #1 Contendership to the SWF World Tag Team titles

Under normal circumstances Joe Sexy would probably spend much of this match staring at Jessie at ringside, but his eyes never seemed to wander that way as he once again spent much of the match on the apron while Gilmore continued to show a lot of fire since his return from injury. Able to match either Biggz brother for speed of technique, the match was played out at a high pace except for whenever Joe Sexy came in to hit some of his patented moves… but without the trademark taunting and posing to back them up. Gilmore kept trying to keep on offense throughout the match so as to minimize the effects of Joe’s self imposed distractions, though the finish saw Joe hit a lucid patch to catch Bart Biggz in the back with a knee at the ropes, allowing Gilmore to put him down with an Anger Management (Front Russian legsweep/Stroke) and Brett was unable to make the save in time.

WINNERS: Joe Sexy and Angry Gilmore (Sexual Aggression)

Gilmore tries to celebrate with Joe but his enthusiasm isn’t quite met in equal amounts. Nevertheless, Gilmore and Sexy are the #1 contenders for the SWF World Tag Team titles and will meet the Bumfholes in a title match in just two days at the Nothing To Lose PPV. The announce team let everyone that we’re heading over to a video to help us get to know more about one of the young stars who recently debuted in the SWF…

http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c33/DerekB83/SWF/RickStantz1.jpg

Walking down a Hawaiian beach is the star of the Class of 2007, complete with waves crashing against the shoreline and a prized selection of tanned, bikini clad ladies in the background. He walks along the beach towards the camera, carrying a surfboard under one arm…

“My name is Sebastian Edwards. After seeing the success of the SWF’s Class of 2005, I tried out for the SWF in mid 2006 and was quickly signed up to an exclusive deal with the company to train, with the intention of one day becoming a part of the SWF roster. Obviously, it all went to plan and it was there while I was training that I earned my nickname from the trainers, The Natural.”

… we are treated to some early shots of Edwards being trained and showing a great aptitude for the basics of pro wrestling, not to mention showing up some of the other fellow graduates in the process with some flashy tricks and crisp technical wrestling…

“You see, I’ve always been good. I’m smart, I’m athletic, I’m good looking and I’ve always been able to turn my hand to anything I choose to do. I’ve listened to those around me, studied the tapes and absorbed it all, and I’ve learned enough from the trainers and everyone on the SWF roster to make sure I can head straight for the top. I absorbed every little bit of knowledge from them that I could, picked up on every little trick they use, learned everyone’s moves and behaviours… and that’s why I’m the star graduate of the SWF Class of 2007.”

… we’re treated to footage of his debut victory over Valiant, winning by making his tap out to a deep Crossface Chickenwing…

“Unlike the 2005 class, I’m not making any stops on my way to the top. I don’t need a tag team partner… I’m not interested in winning lesser titles. This isn’t about trying to get paid more or trying to sell more merchandise. I’m not a gimmick trying to make a name for themselves with some zany antics, I’m not the kind of guy who’s happy to be looked at as being second best even if there is gold around my waist. I debuted as the star of the class because I AM already the best and I’m just taking the first steps on my path to the top in front of the cameras now. When all is said and done, only one title really means anything and that’s the SWF World Heavyweight Championship. It’s the only title worth having and it’s the only title I’m gunning for here in the SWF.”

“So while the rest of the SWF roster sits around hoping to catch a break, I’ll be out winning matches. While they try to figure out new ways to make money, I’ll be training for my next big match on the way to the top. And while they stand around with their petty squabbles, I’ll be winning the SWF World Heavyweight Championship. My name is “The Natural” Sebastian Edwards… believe the hype.

… and the video promo ends with Edwards heading out into the ocean with his surfboard, joining the many men and women having fun out there as we cut back to the show…

… where Eric Eisen is making his way to the ring with the Eisen family retainer, Enforcer Roberts, in tow. Eric doesn’t look to be in a particularly bad mood but it’s pretty rare for him to address the crowd live unless something is on his mind…

Eric: “Jack Giedroyc, get your ass out here right now! Your boss needs to have a few words with you.”

Eric paces round the ring as he looks up towards the

“That’s an order Giedroyc, get out here right n…”

Giedroyc’s music starts to play and the newly crowned SWF North American champion makes his way from the back with the belt strapped firmly around his waist. He plays to the crowd while Eric makes a show of looking sickened by him doing that, until Giedroyc eventually cuts his music and raises his own microphone.

Giedroyc: “Eric, I don’t know what problem you have with me but I rea…”

“Shut up Giedroyc, I didn’t call you out here to have a talk. In fact, I didn’t even call you out here for you to listen to me. But I’d like to thank you for coming out here because you just made this so much easier…”

Giedroyc looks confused as a big smile sweeps across Eric’s face. The crowd see it coming before Giedroyc feels it, as Runaway Train attacks from behind and sends Giedroyc hurtling down the ramp towards the ring with a clobbering sledgehammer blow. Guided by the Guru, Train rolls Giedroyc into the ring where Eric orders Enforcer Roberts to join in the attack so that there is no chance of Giedroyc fighting back against Eric…

… but before Eric can even get a shot in on his defenseless for, Groucho Bling and Elmo Benson sprint to the ring to provide back up. Groucho slides straight into the ring and tackles Enforcer to the mat as Eric bails to the floor, while Elmo leaps to the apron and springs to the top rope throwing himself at Runaway Train with a huge flying body press that takes the monster off his feet. The crowd go wild and moments later a referee is in the ring to signal the start of a match, the first of another week of punishment matches from Eric Eisen to the High Concept crew for their prank two weeks ago…

Elmo Benson VS Runaway Train w/The Guru

… Elmo doesn’t let up on Train as he pounds away at the monster with everything he’s got, being thrown off only to launch back at him with some fast moving offense to take him down again and resume pounding on him. Outside the ring the action is equally frenetic as Bling tries to take the fight to Enforcer Roberts only to be hit from behind by Eric Eisen. The two on one attack continues on Bling until Jack Giedroyc makes his presence felt, launching himself off the ringsteps into the three men and taking them all out until they can regroup.

Meanwhile Train finally manages to get in some offense thanks to a distraction from the Guru who relays instructions to Train to allow him to unleash his full fury on his much smaller opponent. Elmo is sent around the ring with force, being whipped from one turnbuckle to the other with spine crushing impact that the announce team claim is making the ring move slightly each time. Eric Eisen and Enforcer Roberts pull themselves from the ringside melee and up to the entrance ramp in time to see Elmo mount a comeback once again, evading a big Avalanche in the corner by nipping over the ropes and then catching him with a big kick to the head from the apron. Elmo once again takes advantage of some distance being put between himself and his opponent to rattle off a series of quick moves punctuated with a springboard body press attempt… but unlike at the start of this confrontation, this time it’s caught and Train shows off his raw power and dominance by hoisting Elmo up into a Train Wreck (elevated powerbomb) and driving Elmo into the mat for a three.

WINNER: Runaway Train

Eric Eisen looks positively gleeful as Groucho and Giedroyc get themselves into the ring to make sure Train doesn’t add injury to other injury… but before they can even try to help Elmo to his feet Eric is already signalling for someone else to come out from the back, and the announce team collectively hold their breath as Remo makes his way out from the back with his gameface on…

Groucho Bling VS Remo

The #1 contender to the SWF World Championship brings a smile to the face of Eric Eisen, one that quickly fades when Remo completely ignores Eric’s attempt at a high five on the way to the ring with a look of barely disguised contempt. Remo leaps up to the apron in one fluid movement only to have his legs dropkicked out from under him by Groucho who follows up with a running baseball slide to send Remo back towards Eric and Roberts before flying over the top with a massive plancha that takes out the entire heel contingent in one move and pops the crowd insanely. Giedroyc and Elmo get to ringside in time for Groucho to get Remo into the ring where Groucho uses a hit and run offense on the talented heavyweight.

But it can only last so long before Remo simply goes to his power, getting in close to wrap his arms around Groucho to throw him overhead with a suplex. Groucho tries to not let it phase him and stays on the attack, launching a flurry of forearms at Remo’s head to try and stun him… but a second suplex slows Groucho down even more, before Remo fully takes control with a Hit and Run combo, hooking the arm and driving the knees into Groucho’s stomach before launching him with a single underhook suplex. Remo dominates for the remainder of the match as The Guru works hard to stop Runaway Train from derailing and snapping on everyone at ringside… Giedroyc and Elmo try to lead the cheers for Groucho to get the crowd on his side while Eric watches on with satisfaction from ringside, Enforcer Roberts standing emotionless behind him. A few comebacks are almost mounted, but Remo finally manages to connect with a Destroyer (Snap STO) that almost breaks Groucho in half. The pinfall is academic.

WINNER: Remo

Remo growls a few words to the camera for Jack Bruce before making a swift departure, again ignoring Eric Eisen on his way… but Eric is too busy poking fun at Groucho, Elmo and Giedroyc in the ring to mind too much. Eric mouths a few more words at them while it’s clear that Giedroyc is trying to issue a challenge to all the men at ringside…

The Amazing Bumfholes

Since their debut in December 2005 with the Class of 2005, the Amazing Bumfholes have shown themselves to be two of the brightest prospects in the Supreme Wrestling Federation. Whether in singles competition or in the tag team ranks, the Florida natives have never ceased to amaze fans with their never say die attitudes and amazing all round wrestling skills.

In singles competition the two men have proven themselves to be competition for anyone, with Zimmy reigning as SWF Shooting Star champion for 6 months… though their greatest successes have been in the tag team ranks where the duo are two time and current SWF World Tag Team champions. Their rivalries with the Biggz Boyz and the Samoan Wildboys have reinvigorated the tag team division, and with the return to action of Angry Gilmore following injury, the Amazing Bumfholes will have another pair of exception foes to try and fend off at Nothing To Lose.

The question is… will the youngster continue to prove to the world that they are the next big tag team in pro wrestling? Or will Sexual Aggression once again find themselves on top of the heap in their quest for tag team dominance? Find out as SWF presents Nothing To Lose, live on PPV in just two days!!

We join the ever familiar office of Richard Eisen (it never seems to change no matter where the SWF goes…) where the boss of the company is speaking with an unknown SWF employee.

Eisen: “You go inform Eric and his friends that after watching that little stunt he pulled, he’s done himself out of a North American title match… instead he’ll be facing Jack Giedroyc, Groucho Bling and Elmo Benson in a six man tag match at Nothing To Lose, assuming he can find himself a couple of tag partners in a couple of days. Oh… and while you’re out, you can tell Squeeky McClean and Robbie Retro that they will also be facing off at the PPV. Now go, and don’t forget to bring me some coffee on your way back…”

The un-named SWF employee scurries out of the office in double quick time, clearly intimidated at having to break that kind of news to so many volatile personalities… not to mention having to get coffee for the most important man in all of pro wrestling. Before the door can close behind him though, a foot wedges it open… a foot with a very expensive looking boot on it, a very expensive looking suit stemming from there and a look of quiet indignation on the face sitting on top of that. Rich Money doesn’t even wait for an invite before letting himself into the office.

Money: “Mr Eisen..”

“Ah, Mr Money. I was wondering when I might see you again.”

“… you owe me, Mr Eisen. I did not need to defend the SWF North American championship for another 14 days according to SWF regulations and yet you booked me anyways. We had an understanding that you wouldn’t book me in matches without more warning and my consent, and yet you booked it anyways. And more importantly, your son Eric cost me a match when I had it well in hand. If I didn’t know any better, Mr Eisen, I’d say that you and your son have been plotting to keep me away from the SWF North American championship… ”

“No, Rich… I don’t owe you anything. In case you have forgotten, I own the SW, this is my business. Match making is my business and what I choose to tell you is my business too.”

“Mr Eisen, you owe me for what your son did to me last week!”

“I don’t owe you anything, Rich!”

Neither Eisen and Money are in a positive frame of mind, with the tension between the two of them being obvious as they struggle for mental dominance, each man standing on their feet and looking each other square in the eye.

“But I could see my way to giving you a… better opportunity if you were interested.”

“I’m listening.”

“I will have to look at some recent form but I believe I could conceive of a situation where you could find yourself in a position for an SWF World Heavyweight title match in the near future.”

Rich Money looks at Eisen for a long time weighing up his options and wondering what, if anything, Eisen is up to now. After a lengthy pause he responds…

“That would interest me very much, Mr Eisen.”

“Very well. As ever, thank you for your time Mr Money. I realise how valuable it is to you and I appreciate your continued contributions to the SWF.”

“Mr Eisen, the pleasure is all mine, as always. Good evening to you.”

And with that, Rich Money politely leaves Eisen’s office, allowing the boss to turn back to his large screen TV to get a good look at tonight’s main event match up.

Jack Bruce © and Christian Faith VS Shady K and Knuckles (Death Row)

The heels are first to make their way to the ring, doing their best to get heat from a crowd that isn’t entirely working in their favour… but when they hear the entrance music for Christian Faith they explode! Jack Bruce’s music prompts an even bigger pop and it doesn’t take long for this PPV tune up match to get underway as Faith and Bruce look to make examples out of their bigger, stronger, more hardcore opponents. In terms of tag teams who’s style resembles the opponents of Bruce (Remo) and Faith (Vengeance) at the PPV, the Death Row team are as close as the SWF can get and they are far more cohesive as a unit too.

The early going is dominated by the good guys getting all the early offense much to the chagrin of Death Row who end up at ringside regrouping while Faith and Bruce work the crowd. But eventually their superior teamwork shows through and they take advantage of the fact that neither Bruce or Faith have ever regularly worked in a tag team, managing to cut off the ring and cheating at every possible opportunity while the other man distracts the referee.

A hot tag sees Jack Bruce clear house leading up to a big finish, where Faith first crushes Knuckles in the corner with a huge Leap of Faith (huge leaping avalanche/Stinger splash)before sending him out the corner for Jack to finish off with a New York Minute (Fame dropper)… and then repeat the cycle on Shady K, the legal man, to pick up the pinfall. Though the match wasn’t great and was a bit one sided, the fans didn’t seem to mind too much as their heroes pick up the win.

WINNERS: Jack Bruce and Christian Faith

The SWF World Champion and Christian Faith barely have time to celebrate their win before the lights go out… after a lengthy pause the Supreme Screen lights up, filling the entire Louisiana Auditorium with a blood red glow and an icy chill.

Karma… Justice… VENGEANCE!

The image of Vengeance fills the screen, swinging his heavy chain around his head wildly…

“Two days from now, I will destroy the gatekeeper and the path before me will become clear once more. I speak of you, Christian Faith, the one man who stands between myself and the SWF World Heavyweight championship. Once you stood for honour, for truth and for dignity but you have become corrupted. Unable to be the champion of virtue yourself, you have chosen the man you wish to assume your role, aiding and abetting him in his crimes against morality.”

“Two days from now, the gatekeeper will come under siege from a force of balance. He will be weighed, he will be measured and he will be left only with that which karma believes belongs to him… the SWF World Heavyweight championship has been held to ransom by thieves and liars for too long and soon it will be free again… in the hands of karma… in the hands of justice… and in the bloodied hands of Vengeance.”

A huge pyro explosion covers the entire entrance way as Vengeance swings his chain hard at the camera… the lights in the arena flicker into life slowly, leaving Jack Bruce and Christian Faith in the middle of the ring, looking at each other and wondering just how far Vengeance is willing to push his crusade against them as the show comes to an end…

It was the squash match at the end. Jack & Christian are such stars that they can carry anyone, but that doesn't mean that it can create the necessary tension a main event match needs.

It's tough booking the show right before the PPV because it often ends up with a lot of "filler" matches that build up existing feuds without really adding anything to them. Everyone knows the blow-off isn't happening until the PPV

…presents…

http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c33/DerekB83/SWF/NTL.jpg

From the Manhattan Center, New York!

Just two days removed from the biggest show of the year so far and the full card for this blockbuster is looking as follows:

http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c33/DerekB83/SWF/SWF_World.jpg

http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c33/DerekB83/SWF/JackBruce_alt19FIN.jpghttp://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c33/DerekB83/SWF/VS.pnghttp://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c33/DerekB83/SWF/Remo.jpg

Jack Bruce © VS Remo

Jack Bruce puts his SWF World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Remo, who is on a tremendous hot streak! Ever since defeating Christian Faith at When Hell Freezes Over, Remo has defeated everyone who has stood in his path on Supreme TV, steamrollering through Valiant, Robbie Retro, Elmo Benson and Groucho Bling over the last 4 weeks. With the constant threats of Vengeance’s psychotic rage and Brandon James’ Golden Opportunity, Jack Bruce can’t possibly be completely focussed on his opponent… and with Remo more intense and driven than ever before this could finally be the end of Jack Bruce’s first major title run!

http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c33/DerekB83/SWF/ChristianFaith.jpghttp://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c33/DerekB83/SWF/VS.pnghttp://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c33/DerekB83/SWF/SkullDeBones_alt.jpg

Christian Faith VS Vengeance

At When Hell Freezes Over it looked like Vengeance might finally get his hands on the SWF World Championship when he engaged in a bloody battle with Jack Bruce inside the confines of the steel cage and were it not for a guitar being lowered into the ring for Jack Bruce to use on Vengeance, we may have had a new SWF World Heavyweight champion that night. Four time champion Christian Faith has been a guardian angel throughout Jack Bruce’s title reign and the world has pointed their finger at him being the man to have lowered the guitar into the cage… but Christian Faith denies ever doing it and as a man who has kept to his word throughout his twenty-plus year career in the SWF, no-one is quite sure now if he is telling the truth. Vengeance believes he knows the truth… Faith believes Vengeance must be stopped… and these two megastars will clash once again at Nothing To Lose!!

The Amazing Bumfholes © vs Sexual Aggression

SWF World Tag Team title match

The SWF World Tag Team titles will be on the line as the Amazing Bumfholes face off against the number one contenders, Angry Gilmore and Joe Sexy. Since returning from injury Gilmore has been nothing short of phenomenal in the ring while Joe Sexy seems to be distracted by the recent arrival of Jenny Playmate and his new friendship with Frederique Antonio Garcia. If Gilmore can motivate Sexy to get on the same page then they could once again get their hands on the most prestigious tag title in the world… but if not then the exciting young champions may be able to add another notch to their belt as they continue to cement themselves as two of the finest young talents in the wrestling world.

Enygma VS Marc DuBois ©

SWF Shooting Star Championship match

Marc DuBois has spent six months as the reigning SWF Shooting Star champion and has shown no signs of being toppled in recent months. Feeling that he is outgrowing the division he began 2008 with the bold statement that he intended to beat every SWF World Heavyweight champion still wrestling in the SWF over the course of the next twelve months and proceeded to pick up a win over Engyma at When Hell Freezes Over, though in somewhat dubious circumstances. Enygma issued a challenge for a rematch but was denied and forced to earn a rematch by going through the Shooting Star division. Having defeated two of the top young stars in the division, Enygma has earned his rematch and will face DuBois once more in a bid to teach DuBois a lesson in what it takes to be a real World champion, while DuBois will be looking to retain the title once more and pick up a second victory over the former champion.

Jack Giedroyc © and High Concept vs Eric Eisen, Enforcer Roberts and Runaway Train

One of two late additions to the card will see the recently crowned SWF North American champion Jack Giedroyc team up with Elmo Benson and Groucho Bling in six man tag action against Eric Eisen, Enforcer Roberts and Runaway Train. This match was announced by Richard Eisen shortly after Supreme TV went off the air, with Eisen confirming that before Eric initiated the assault on Giedroyc that he had been planning to announce a 1 on 1 encounter with Giedroyc vs Eric Eisen. Eric has been getting increasingly frustrated with his father ever since the SWF elections during last summer where Richard Eisen called a halt to proceedings and declared that he was still in charge of the company, not Eric or Jerry and this has led to Eric lashing out at many others around him. Will Eric be able to get back at Giedroyc and High Concept for defying him or will the popular stars once again cause Eric and his allies to leave with their tails between their legs?

Robbie Retro vs Squeeky McClean

The final match to be added to the card will see the fun-loving Robbie Retro go up against the self righteous straight edge Squeeky McClean. These two men have been clashing backstage over the last several weeks about their lifestyle choices and things have been getting heated lately. Richard Eisen announced this match and hopes that allowing these two talented youngsters to blow off some steam in the ring will help to settle their issues. But with Squeeky McClean becoming more and more like a loose cannon every day, Retro will have his hands full trying to convince Squeeky that anything except his way could possibly be the right way.

SWF Class Of 2007

Throughout January a new class of graduates made their SWF debuts, having been trained in the highly exclusive SWF training facilities with many of the best trainers the world has to offer. Each of the new young stars had their chance to shine in a televised match and though the results were mixed, the new stars debuted with a combined record of 2 wins and 3 losses over the coures of their matches.

The only other graduating class from the SWF’s private training facilities came from 2005. Featuring stars such as current SWF Shooting Star champion Marc DuBois and current SWF World Tag Team champions The Amazing Bumfholes, that class also debuted with 2 wins and 3 losses.

The future looks bright for the newcomers to the SWF and they will be looking to establish themselves in the SWF heirarchy over the coming months by picking up more big wins over current stars on their way to SWF championship gold in the years to come. For those who may have missed it, the class of 2007 debuted week by week on Supreme TV throughout January as follows:

“Superstar” Robert Greene

Standing at six foot three inches tall and weighing in at 257 pounds, very little else is known about the reclusive youngster known as Robert Greene in terms of his personal history. Other than his finishing move (The Superstar Superkick) he seems to have very few defining characteristics in the ring. In a brief interview for SWF.com with Ana Garcia, Greene refused to answer any questions about himself but did leave her with one quote.

“It doesn’t matter where I’m from or who I am… what matters is that I’m here and I’m going to make a difference in the SWF.”

We at SWF.com asked his trainers what he was like while he was at the SWF’s exclusive training facilities and the feedback was generally very good, with his trainers describing him as “a real hard working kid”, “very guarded but intensely dedicated” and “a natural talent, at times it was like he was just remembering things he already knew”.

“Superstar” Robert Greene may have lost his debut match to Frederique Antonio Garcia but it wasn’t without interference from Garcia’s lackey Andre Jones, without whom the result might been very different for the broody youngster.

The Triple Threat

Davis Wayne Newton, Nelson Callum, Heath Harvey

The Triple Threat have a history together that extends beyond their time training with the SWF, with all three men beginning their training with the legendary Rip Chord. Under his expert guidance all three of these youngsters developed rapidly and training together brought them all together as friends. When SWF scouts noticed their potential a deal was offered and all three of the young men jumped on the chance to continue their elite training and joined the SWF, with dreams of a call up to the big leagues. While they each have proven to know each other very well and share some common moves, each man does have distinct wrestling style and history of their very own.

Davis Wayne Newton hails from Toronto, Canada and is perhaps the most versatile worker of the group. Known for posessing excellent technique and for his willingness to take to the air when necessary, Newton is also no stranger to brawling when required and his trainers have pointed towards him as being the spiritual leader of the group. He is described by his trainers as “a good kid with a lot of heart” and “someone I expect big things of down the line”. His finishing manoeuvre is a painful variation of the Stepover Toehold Facelock (STF).

Nelson Callum is the youngest of the group at just 19 years of age, but that hasn’t stopped him from being one of the brightest prospects in pro wrestling today. Described as being inseperable from Newton during their training, Nelson has shown himself to be a talented and versatile wrestler, known more for his technique than his best friend. While unconfirmed by SWF officials, word has it that he may not have been called up to the SWF if it wasn’t for his fellow Triple Threat friends refusing to be seperated from him. Nelson is described by his trainers as “a bright prospect as long as he continues to work hard” and “the kind of guy everyone likes to have around”. His finishing manoeuvre is the Honey Trap, a complex submission move that can also be used to pin a victim’s shoulders to the mat.

Heath Harvey is the oldest of the group and has spent the least time training as a pro wrestler. He has an extensive background in amateur wrestling and put himself through college with a wrestling scholarsihp before deciding to turn pro. A charismatic figure who quickly adapted to life in the squared cirlce, Heath’s driven nature has inspired the other members of the Triple Threat to train harder. Unlike his friends he is very much a technical wrestler who likes to dominate and control his opponents with close up grappling and an array of suplexes. His finishing manoeuvre is a high angle bridgiing German suplex.

The Triple Threat debuted over two matches, with Nelson Callum and Davis Wayne Newton teaming up in a losing effort against Death Row, while Heath Harvey tasted defeat at the hands of 2005’s star graduate and reigning SWF Shooting Star champion Marc DuBois.

Zeus Maxmillion and Jenny Playmate

Despite being an established wrestler on the low level Canadian wrestling scene, Zeus Maxmillion had never managed to break out of the pack and land himself a position with a major promotion. His luck finally changed when Jenny Playmate saw something special in the Greek-Canadian and recruited him to be the face of a clothing range being launched in Zeus’ homeland of Greece. “The Bronzed God” as he is often known has become a huge star in his homeland thanks to Playmate’s sharp wit and short skirts, which helped him earn his place in the SWF’s private training school.

While Jenny Playmate touts Zeus as “part model, part wrestler, all god” his trainers weren’t quite as full of praise for him. “I get the feeling that [Zeus] doesn’t take this very seriously. Every time he gets put in a headlock he seems to psychologically need to adjust his hair” said one. “He’s got a great physique, great offensive skill and is hugely marketable… but his mental game? It leaves a lot to be desired” said another.

After spending a few months being helped along by the best trainers in the world, Zeus has come a long way and this was showcased as he defeated the young Greg Rayne in his debut match with the company. His finishing manoeuvre is the Olympian Clutch, a variatiant of the time tested Camel Clutch.

“The Natural” Sebastian Edwards

Hailing from Myrtle Beach, North Carolina, Sebastian Edwards has spent his entire life excelling at anything and everything he has turned his hand to. A deeply intelligent and independent young man, Edwards is known to have spent time wrestling around the world before being welcomed into the SWF’s elite training school to add extra polish to an already impressive resume. In an online interview conducted with Ana Garcia, Edwards explained the importance of his worldly experiences on the development of his wrestling style.

“I’ve been all over the world, wrestling with guys of all shapes and sizes and all kinds of styles. I’ve wrestled with the high flying luchadors of Mexico and the hard hitting heavyweights of Japan. I’ve travelled across South America to compete against many styles and I’ve been all across Asia and Europe picking up and refining techniques wherever I’ve gone. And while in the SWF’s facilities I made sure to get into the best shape of my life and learn from some of the best trainers in the world. When it comes to wrestling, I’m a total package who can quite literally do it all. And that’s why everyone calls me The Natural.”

Never afraid to put himself in the spotlight and always capable when in it, Edwards was selected by his trainers as the star graduate of the Class of 2007. “Sebastian Edwards is something special, he’s got all the potential in the world and all the time he needs to realise it.” said one trainer. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen a youngster with as much raw talent as this kid. If he doesn’t become a star I’ll have to quit my job in talent acquisition” said another SWF employee. But despite his obvious talents, Edwards hasn’t completely impressed all of his trainers. “Sure, he’s good but he knows it too. All the time he spent here it was like he was looking down at us. Personally, I think that Davis Wayne Newton should have been given the award.”

Unlike the rest of the Class of 2007, Edwards does not have just a single finishing manoeuvre. While he likes to use the crossface chickenwing to get submission victories and Natural Progression (Cradle Suplex Driver), he has also been known to utilise his opponent’s finisher on them to add insult to injury. “He just can’t resist the urge to show people that he’s better than them, it’ll be his downfall I tell ya” one trainer added.

To find out more about the Class of 2007 you will need to stay tuned to Supreme TV each week. Supreme TV broadcasts across America and in the United Kingdom, and will be returning to Canadian television in March. Don’t miss out!

Interesting feature on the Class of 2007, it helped me vision their characters a bit more.

Jack Bruce © vs Remo (SWF World Heavyweight championship match)

Some kind of mystery assist will help Bruce hold onto his belt.

Christian Faith vs Vengeance

Tough one to call, so I'm just guessing Vengeance.

The Amazing Bumfholes © vs Sexual Aggression (SWF World Tag Team title match)

Again, a tough one to call. I can see Sexy somehow losing interest and costing his team the match.

Enygma vs Marc DuBois © (SWF Shooting Star championship match)

DuBois continues his quest to beat every former World champion.

Jack Giedroyc © and High Concept vs Eric Eisen, Enforcer Roberts and Runaway Train

Giedroyc's just won the North American title and had momentum on his side, so I'll pick his team.

Robbie Retro vs Squeeky McClean

I like Squeeky.
