Winning a losing fight

Recommended Posts

Who has had a fighter win a fight after being destroyed before hand?

I had it with Nate MacReary v Tim Boyer

MacReary was getting destroyed by Boyer getting knocked down once every round and barely surviving when after getting knocked down in the third Boyer makes a mistake and MacReary ends up on top and TKO's Boyer via GNP, Crazy stuff!!!

Li-Kung Ho vs Plasil was a big one for me. Plasil won the first 4 rounds easily, and then with 30 seconds to go of round 5 got the submission win. Asanovic vs Watson went pretty similar too, with Asanovic winning the first 4 rounds, only to get beat by a sudden head kick from Watson.

Mikey Wallace was killing Bokka Lida for 3 rounds then all the sudden Lida trips Wallace down, takes his back, and RNC him at 4:59 in round 3. Otherwise, Lida would have lost a 30-26 decision.

That would be the greatest comeback in MMA history. Congrats on being able to witness it. :)

In my SIGMA game, Thorbjorn Rekdal was losing 3 rounds to 1 to Aleksei Chekhov and getting dominated in the fifth before getting in a muay thay clinch and knocking Chekhov out with a big knee at 7:09. Got a Fantastic rating, it's my best main event ever and headlined my best show ever.

Final Round of my Annual Queen of the Cage Tournament.

Trish Biel vs. Leslie Meyers. 5 x 5 minute rounds for the trophy.

Basically Biel was winning 40-36 on the scorecards basically controlling the ground game with both fighters extremely exhausted and Meyers just not able to keep the fight upright. Then, in the fifth round, this:

>We've now passed the halfway mark in this round.

>Biel comes in closer, looking to wrestle with Myers.

>Biel gets caught with a countering uppercut though, and she is knocked out!

>The winner, by Knock Out; Leslie Myers!

>Official Result: 'Lost Innocence' Leslie Myers defeats 'The Real Deal' Trish Biel (Knock Out in 2:47 of round 5). The match was rated as being Fantastic.

All Cohen had to do was survive 3 more seconds... but he couldn't do it.

Jermaine McKenzie was destroying Bokka Iida, nearly knocking him out several times in the first round and getting a 10-7 score in it. The second round? Iida immediately took McKenzie to the ground and applied an arm triangle for the submission.

Shame, I like McKenzie alot more.

And of course when Graham Goodbody was just slightly edging my main man Manol Sirakov, only to step into an uppercut from Sirakov halfway through the final round, propelling Sirakov into position for a title match (which he lost, sadly.)

Leslie Myers has KO power in hands. Depending on her Destiny Roll and Camp, she ends up getting good TD, which means she can become a beast. Same will Tilu Kass.

Biggest turnaround for me involved Lermontov vs. Li-Kong Ho, in a unification bout. Li-Kong had been a god in most of my games, but Fiyero was working him over, big time. Start of the fifth round Li-Kong gets a miracle takedown, and just like that, he had an armbar secured and was victorious over the bigger opponent. Asanovic vs. Deguchi was pretty wild too, Deguchi came out of nowhere to win by KO.

Fezzik vs. Foster.

I stole Fezzik away from Alpha and was hoping he would be my long time champ. His first defense was against Foster and he beat Foster up for four rounds before gassing and getting subbed.

You stole my story

Stole Fezzik from Alpha-1

Let him kill Franklyn to get his pop rise

Gave him title match vs. Foster

Fezzik beats up Foster for 4 Rounds

Foster gets pinned against the cage, applies a Guillotine and wins the fight via submission.

Luckily Fezzik saved himself in re-matches, winning twice by UD.

Buddy Garner vs. Matthew Dean. Dean took Garner down and GnPed him for 2 1/2 rounds. Garner was cut up and beat down at the end of the first and continued down the same path until the final minute. Where Dean had a successful takedown but ended up caught in an armbar.
